[00:00.000 --> 00:07.680] The following newsflash is brought to you by the Lowstar Lowdown, providing the jelly [00:07.680 --> 00:15.440] bulletins for the commodity market, today in history, news updates, and the inside scoop [00:15.440 --> 00:23.600] into the tides of the alternative. [00:23.600 --> 00:29.640] Markets for the 11th of April 2018 closed with gold $1,353.22 an ounce. [00:29.640 --> 00:41.200] Over $16.68 an ounce, Texas Crude $65.51 a barrel, Bitcoin $6,902.19, Ethereum $420.80, [00:41.200 --> 00:55.480] Bitcoin Cash $652.90, and finally Litecoins $114.34, a crypto coin. [00:55.480 --> 01:01.200] Today in History, the year 1968, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act [01:01.200 --> 01:06.160] of 1968, which prohibited private businesses from discriminating based on race, color, [01:06.160 --> 01:08.040] religion, sex, or national origin. [01:08.040 --> 01:13.200] It also prohibited unequal application of voter registration requirements, racial segregation [01:13.200 --> 01:18.320] in public schools, and employment, and public accommodations for places of business. [01:18.320 --> 01:23.960] Today in History [01:23.960 --> 01:28.120] In recent news, tensions in Syria seem to reach new levels after a chemical attack on [01:28.120 --> 01:32.280] civilians in the city of Douma, which left 40 dead and many injured, an attack which [01:32.280 --> 01:36.720] is being blamed on the democratically elected president of Syria, Bashar al-Assad, by the [01:36.720 --> 01:41.480] United States and on Israel by Russia, either accusatory narrative without any verified [01:41.480 --> 01:43.360] evidence as of yet. [01:43.360 --> 01:46.840] President Trump tweeted today, Wednesday, that if, quote, Russia vows to shoot down [01:46.840 --> 01:51.200] any and all missiles fired at Syria, get ready, Russia, because they will be coming in nice [01:51.200 --> 01:55.760] and new and smart, going on to warn Russia that you shouldn't be partners with a gas-killing [01:55.760 --> 01:58.600] animal who kills its people and enjoys it. [01:58.600 --> 02:02.640] Many in the West, including President Trump, have been quick to conclude that this chemical [02:02.640 --> 02:06.760] attack must have been conducted by Assad and his forces. [02:06.760 --> 02:11.040] Syria and Russia, on the other hand, have given approval since yesterday for the Organization [02:11.040 --> 02:15.680] for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to investigate the site of the chemical slaughter. [02:15.680 --> 02:19.400] Assad has been successful in maintaining rule and support during Syria's seven-year civil [02:19.400 --> 02:24.000] war, a civil war that is being fought by the government of Syria and anti-Assad Syrian [02:24.000 --> 02:28.800] rebels that are openly being funded by Western governments, with ISIS being one of the more [02:28.800 --> 02:32.520] notorious swimmer groups of the American-backed Syrian rebels. [02:32.520 --> 02:37.840] No surprise then why Russian Foreign Minister Spokeswoman Maria Zakoba posted on Facebook [02:37.840 --> 02:42.200] that smart missiles should be fired at terrorists and not at a legitimate government, which [02:42.200 --> 02:44.400] has been fighting terrorists. [02:44.400 --> 02:48.240] Or is this a trick to destroy all traces with a smart missile strike, and then there will [02:48.240 --> 02:55.240] be no evidence for international inspectors to look at? [03:18.240 --> 03:26.360] This is what happens when you call the cops, you get your rights violated or you all get [03:26.360 --> 03:27.360] shot. [03:27.360 --> 03:28.360] I think the people being victimized by criminal cops, psychopathic predators terrorizing neighborhood [03:28.360 --> 03:32.080] blocks, equipped with pepper spray made cocktails and glocks, they like serial killers acting [03:32.080 --> 03:33.080] out for criminal frauds. [03:33.080 --> 03:34.080] All right folks, good evening. [03:34.080 --> 03:37.680] This is the Monday Night Rule of Law radio show. [03:37.680 --> 03:42.520] Your host, Eddie Craig, it is October 8th, 2018. [03:42.520 --> 03:44.240] We are live tonight. [03:44.240 --> 03:49.040] I do apologize for the last couple of weeks, computer problems among other things have [03:49.040 --> 03:52.200] been making that an issue. [03:52.200 --> 03:56.800] But I am here tonight and I am going to try to make it an interesting show for what that [03:56.800 --> 03:58.520] may be worth. [03:58.520 --> 04:06.520] Now I want to start off tonight with talking about something that just, I find it ludicrous [04:06.520 --> 04:10.560] on its face simply because of what it is. [04:10.560 --> 04:17.000] And this is where CBS News is reporting that the House Ethics Committee today released [04:17.000 --> 04:21.600] three charges of ethical wrongdoing against Democratic Representative Maxine Waters of [04:21.600 --> 04:23.560] California. [04:23.560 --> 04:30.240] Folks in all the years that this woman and the majority of those from California and [04:30.240 --> 04:37.960] these other states like New York and New Jersey, Democrat and Republican alike, if they in [04:37.960 --> 04:43.880] all this time haven't had more than three ethics violations against them, then somebody [04:43.880 --> 04:48.120] up there has not been doing their job. [04:48.120 --> 04:55.640] I cannot think of a single person sitting in the United States Congress in either house [04:55.640 --> 05:05.320] on either side of the aisle that should not have a dozen ethics violations against them, [05:05.320 --> 05:08.600] if not more. [05:08.600 --> 05:15.080] The United States Congress is the only place where insider trading is 100% legal. [05:15.080 --> 05:20.840] You can take any knowledge you have that you learn about in Congress and use that to make [05:20.840 --> 05:25.720] yourself wealthy while sitting in that office. [05:25.720 --> 05:30.640] Now if you don't believe that, take a good look at how many of your representatives and [05:30.640 --> 05:38.640] senators go in there as, you know, almost millionaires or just a few millionaires and [05:38.640 --> 05:45.280] come out multi, multi millionaires in that short amount of time that they're there, assuming [05:45.280 --> 05:49.560] that they don't become career politicians that you keep voting in over and over again [05:49.560 --> 05:53.720] so they can do this more and more. [05:53.720 --> 05:56.680] How do you think they get that wealth? [05:56.680 --> 06:01.840] They get $174,000 a year, okay? [06:01.840 --> 06:07.680] So how do they come out with millions on top of that? [06:07.680 --> 06:10.640] Well, that's how. [06:10.640 --> 06:16.640] Because of everything they do and every pot they've got their fingers in, by the time it's [06:16.640 --> 06:20.960] all said and done, they know everything about every trade, every stock, everything that's [06:20.960 --> 06:26.520] going on in this country, both in the news and in the scenes, they have insider information [06:26.520 --> 06:31.520] you and I will never have and it is perfectly, legitimately legal according to the laws they [06:31.520 --> 06:39.560] themselves wrote for them to use that information for their own private gain. [06:39.560 --> 06:45.120] Using our paycheck to them as the seed buddy to enrich themselves. [06:45.120 --> 06:51.040] And you wonder why they want to be career politicians. [06:51.040 --> 06:52.040] You have to wonder, right? [06:52.040 --> 06:55.120] Well, there it is. [06:55.120 --> 06:58.880] Because of all the things they can get away with while they're in there. [06:58.880 --> 07:00.600] Three ethics violations. [07:00.600 --> 07:06.120] This woman's committed more violations than that before she gets up in the morning. [07:06.120 --> 07:08.360] Three. [07:08.360 --> 07:14.760] In 30-something years of sitting in office and they've only charged her this one time [07:14.760 --> 07:16.800] with three. [07:16.800 --> 07:22.480] It's ridiculous. [07:22.480 --> 07:27.720] This system is irretrievably broken. [07:27.720 --> 07:28.880] It cannot be saved. [07:28.880 --> 07:30.120] It cannot be fixed. [07:30.120 --> 07:31.120] It cannot be mended. [07:31.120 --> 07:33.080] It cannot be patched. [07:33.080 --> 07:39.760] It is broken beyond all hope of recovery. [07:39.760 --> 07:49.680] And the longer we let it stay there and use that valuable real estate and just continue [07:49.680 --> 07:57.000] to ride away over the useful resources that we could make it viable for if we just scraped [07:57.000 --> 08:03.800] it off the face of the planet and started over, we're just going to sit here and flounder [08:03.800 --> 08:12.480] where we are while they get richer and richer every day. [08:12.480 --> 08:21.320] I used to be someone who was proud of my country because we were a kind of people that didn't [08:21.320 --> 08:24.440] look to others for what we wanted or needed. [08:24.440 --> 08:31.840] We did what was necessary to work and achieve and get there ourselves. [08:31.840 --> 08:35.000] We didn't take handouts. [08:35.000 --> 08:39.720] We did what we did because there was pride in being self-sufficient. [08:39.720 --> 08:45.920] Pride is standing on your own two feet, pride in being an American that always did their [08:45.920 --> 08:53.040] best to do their best. [08:53.040 --> 08:55.120] And we've lost that. [08:55.120 --> 09:02.000] We watched it wither and die on the vine because of this very system. [09:02.000 --> 09:11.080] We have allowed our entire society to be victimized by this very system, by those who occupy this [09:11.080 --> 09:18.760] system. [09:18.760 --> 09:24.480] If you have a vegetable garden and you notice that one of your plants is infested with some [09:24.480 --> 09:31.960] sort of insect, do you just allow that to stay there and those insects to spread? [09:31.960 --> 09:36.600] Spread and contaminate and destroy the rest of your crop so that you've got nothing to [09:36.600 --> 09:41.280] eat or do you act to do something about it? [09:41.280 --> 09:51.720] Well, the insects are swarming all over our crop and the first plant they managed to sink [09:51.720 --> 09:56.680] their teeth into was our government plant in D.C. [09:56.680 --> 10:02.960] And from there they have managed to trickle down into every other level of government [10:02.960 --> 10:04.880] in every state. [10:04.880 --> 10:08.960] They're spreading through our garden like wildfire and we are doing absolutely nothing [10:08.960 --> 10:13.120] to check it, case in point. [10:13.120 --> 10:18.920] Texans for some reason, or at least those that want to be Texans or pretend to be Texans, [10:18.920 --> 10:24.240] have gone Beto crazy for someone whose real name is not even Beto. [10:24.240 --> 10:27.680] No Rourke. [10:27.680 --> 10:36.040] A documented criminal running for Senate under the Democrat label, he was arrested for burglary, [10:36.040 --> 10:43.080] he was arrested for DUI and a whole bunch of other things and yet everybody is treating [10:43.080 --> 10:50.440] this guy like he is the next Messiah, just like they did Obama. [10:50.440 --> 10:52.240] What are you people thinking? [10:52.240 --> 10:56.240] Again, what are any of you people thinking? [10:56.240 --> 11:00.320] Because if you think that those talking heads that get on TV and tell you you should vote [11:00.320 --> 11:04.560] for them because they have the answers actually knows what the hell they're talking about [11:04.560 --> 11:16.360] and are there to help you, you need to up the dosage on your meds because you're in a [11:16.360 --> 11:22.480] fine hallucinatory state and that's got to be more pleasant than reality because I'm [11:22.480 --> 11:27.160] telling you, it sucks out of here where I'm at watching these people pull this crap and [11:27.160 --> 11:33.800] the rest of you slobber in your laps trying to say, oh I want you to do all of my stuff [11:33.800 --> 11:40.320] for me, I know you'll work for me while lining your own pockets with your insider information [11:40.320 --> 11:46.080] and getting richer than the rest of us just like you already are. [11:46.080 --> 11:53.560] It is like we never, ever learn from our mistakes anymore. [11:53.560 --> 11:56.120] Why is that? [11:56.120 --> 12:03.640] Why has America become the very definition of absolute insanity? [12:03.640 --> 12:12.160] We keep doing the same thing the same way over and over and over again and expecting [12:12.160 --> 12:30.360] different outcomes but we always get the same outcome and it's always bad for us. [12:30.360 --> 12:36.200] Now I am not such a fatalist or an anarchist to the degree that I think that we can exist [12:36.200 --> 12:45.320] without rules of any kind and someone willing to stand hand to hand with others and see [12:45.320 --> 12:50.800] that certain rules are enforced, not to the degree that we have today, not by a long shot [12:50.800 --> 12:56.000] but let's understand something about actual true anarchy. [12:56.000 --> 13:05.000] In an anarchy system the only thing that matters is who is stronger, that's it. [13:05.000 --> 13:09.840] Those who are the strongest will take from those who are weaker and there will be none [13:09.840 --> 13:16.520] to oppose them in an anarchy system because once you've been together to oppose them, [13:16.520 --> 13:18.040] guess what? [13:18.040 --> 13:25.320] You've now become the same force that you said you couldn't stand and didn't want any [13:25.320 --> 13:33.560] part of when you turned to anarchy because if you think any one anarchist could take [13:33.560 --> 13:42.040] on a collection of individuals or groups that are stronger than everyone else and be victorious, [13:42.040 --> 13:44.920] you're even more delusional. [13:44.920 --> 13:46.960] So what does that require? [13:46.960 --> 13:52.600] It requires that the anarchists band together and make a stronger group capable of opposing [13:52.600 --> 13:57.160] the ones that are trying to take from the weaker which puts us right back to square one of [13:57.160 --> 14:01.400] where we are now or at least where we were supposed to be when we instituted government [14:01.400 --> 14:07.440] in the first place because I guarantee you, you say we have to come together and we have [14:07.440 --> 14:10.960] to stand against these or everybody's going to suffer for it so let's come together and [14:10.960 --> 14:14.480] do that and now you have to understand one thing. [14:14.480 --> 14:19.760] Now that this thing has been created, there are others out there who are still willing [14:19.760 --> 14:24.800] to do the same thing and oppose you to take from those who are weaker. [14:24.800 --> 14:32.280] So now your temporary thing becomes a permanent thing in order to defend everyone against [14:32.280 --> 14:34.760] that threat. [14:34.760 --> 14:45.160] So as you see, anarchy will never last and a true anarchist will be the first to go because [14:45.160 --> 14:50.600] he will insist on standing alone and joining no one when faced with overwhelming odds of [14:50.600 --> 14:55.000] superior firepower and force and that's going to be all she wrote. [14:55.000 --> 15:01.120] Doesn't matter if he puts up a hell of a fight if he still loses, doesn't matter if his hell [15:01.120 --> 15:09.120] of a fight still gets his entire family wiped out in his property taken. [15:09.120 --> 15:13.240] That is why total absolute anarchy will not work. [15:13.240 --> 15:17.440] That is exactly what the founding fathers knew would happen. [15:17.440 --> 15:23.320] That is exactly why they set up government the way they did. [15:23.320 --> 15:28.120] To provide the means of that collective use of force, to prevent those who are stronger [15:28.120 --> 15:35.320] from preying upon those who are weaker and it was our job to maintain control of that [15:35.320 --> 15:43.160] beast and to use it properly and we failed. [15:43.160 --> 15:46.680] We did what most people do with their dogs. [15:46.680 --> 15:52.200] You buy a dog, the dog is cute, you love the dog, it's part of the family but you spend [15:52.200 --> 15:57.600] less time with that dog than you do with anything or anyone else in your entire life. [15:57.600 --> 16:02.480] You don't train the dog, you don't teach the dog and you wonder why the dog goes off the [16:02.480 --> 16:05.200] beaten path and does things you don't like. [16:05.200 --> 16:10.560] Well it's because the dog doesn't have anyone there to provide the correction and the training [16:10.560 --> 16:16.760] necessary to keep it on the path you want it on. [16:16.760 --> 16:19.720] Now take mine for an example. [16:19.720 --> 16:25.360] My dog, you will never find a dog on this planet that will beat this dog. [16:25.360 --> 16:29.760] He's not a scaredy cat, he's not afraid of loud noises, he's not afraid of gunfire, he's [16:29.760 --> 16:32.640] not afraid of people, he's not afraid of other dogs. [16:32.640 --> 16:38.720] He is very well trained, he is very disciplined, he knows what to do and when to do it and [16:38.720 --> 16:42.240] it's what keeps him from stepping off the curb in the traffic out here while having [16:42.240 --> 16:46.880] to live in town and chasing squirrels in his balls and his sticks out in the middle of [16:46.880 --> 16:52.720] the road and getting squashed by a car because I spent the time and effort to train him to [16:52.720 --> 16:55.320] do what he does. [16:55.320 --> 17:00.240] I'll pick this up on the other side of the break, y'all hang on, we'll be right back. [19:34.680 --> 19:36.760] Alright folks, we are back. [19:36.760 --> 19:38.520] This is rule of law radio. [19:38.520 --> 19:43.120] The calling number is 512-646-1984. [19:43.120 --> 19:46.680] Give us a call, get in line, and I'll start taking your calls here in a few minutes. [19:46.680 --> 19:50.760] Alright, now the point I'm trying to make about my dog is this. [19:50.760 --> 19:54.880] If I had let him do what everybody else has done with the majority of their dogs that [19:54.880 --> 20:01.720] I know both in this neighborhood and that I've known throughout my life, he would be [20:01.720 --> 20:03.220] running a muck. [20:03.220 --> 20:05.400] He would bark at everything and everybody. [20:05.400 --> 20:06.800] He would disturb the neighbors. [20:06.800 --> 20:09.520] He would wake us up for no good reason. [20:09.520 --> 20:11.240] He would tear up stuff. [20:11.240 --> 20:14.800] He would crap all over stuff and make a mess of the house. [20:14.800 --> 20:21.640] He would be completely unruly, uncontrollable, and general nuisance. [20:21.640 --> 20:26.680] And that's true of any dog that is not given proper attention and training. [20:26.680 --> 20:32.880] Well it is also true of any government not given proper attention and training. [20:32.880 --> 20:40.120] And there, just like with our dogs, we have failed. [20:40.120 --> 20:44.280] We don't spend any time teaching our children about politics. [20:44.280 --> 20:51.200] We don't spend any time teaching our children about government. [20:51.200 --> 20:56.600] We let the indoctrination centers do that and they teach them that it's all the way [20:56.600 --> 21:02.840] it's supposed to be and that they should be thinking a certain way where everybody should [21:02.840 --> 21:06.120] be able to rely on government to give them everything they need. [21:06.120 --> 21:10.320] Basically socialism, communism, et cetera, et cetera. [21:10.320 --> 21:18.440] And just, you know, and you wonder why things are going wrong and why they're falling apart. [21:18.440 --> 21:22.760] Well, there's why. [21:22.760 --> 21:30.480] The system has been designed to take the parents out of the home to put them into the workforce [21:30.480 --> 21:37.520] to make more money for the corporate system as it exists, less for themselves, and require [21:37.520 --> 21:45.440] them to put their kids in the hands of the nanny state. [21:45.440 --> 21:52.160] Now if you don't understand that, then again, your dosage is too high because you're not [21:52.160 --> 21:57.920] looking around and observing what is actually going on around you. [21:57.920 --> 22:03.120] But that is exactly what it is. [22:03.120 --> 22:14.320] Your kids are being taught other people's values, inherently un-American immoral values [22:14.320 --> 22:16.680] in many cases. [22:16.680 --> 22:23.440] Immoral not in the sense of biblical per se, but immoral just simply in the sense that [22:23.440 --> 22:28.200] someone thinks they have the right to dictate how someone else can live their life, what [22:28.200 --> 22:32.280] they can do with their property, what they can and cannot do to earn a living as long [22:32.280 --> 22:36.560] as it's honest and harms no one, what they can and cannot do with their own bodies as [22:36.560 --> 22:40.600] long as they don't harm anyone else in the process, what they can eat, what they can [22:40.600 --> 22:44.400] drink, what they can smoke, what they can think. [22:44.400 --> 22:53.200] I just saw a screenshot of an ordinance in, I think it was Virginia. [22:53.200 --> 23:03.520] They actually created a city ordinance making it a crime for any child or person over the [23:03.520 --> 23:11.240] age of 12 to go trick or treat. [23:11.240 --> 23:18.560] Did you hear what I just said? [23:18.560 --> 23:30.640] A city ordinance was created making it a crime for any person, child or otherwise, over the [23:30.640 --> 23:38.400] age of 12 to go trick or treating. [23:38.400 --> 23:43.960] And the ordinance also limits the time and date when they can go trick or treating. [23:43.960 --> 23:49.160] They're limited to 31 October, which of course we know why, but still, that's government [23:49.160 --> 23:56.200] for you, and then only between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. [23:56.200 --> 24:01.920] Why is government involved in that at all? [24:01.920 --> 24:11.920] Why are people so lazy, inept and stupid as to think that that is something they should [24:11.920 --> 24:17.520] be letting a group of individuals in some room decide about what they can and cannot [24:17.520 --> 24:23.600] do and what their children can and cannot do? [24:23.600 --> 24:29.720] Why do you think that's a good thing? [24:29.720 --> 24:36.440] That mindset is lost upon me. [24:36.440 --> 24:39.920] I mean, to me, it's the same thing as the patronates. [24:39.920 --> 24:45.960] Every time one of their patronate gods gets convicted of a crime and sent to prison for [24:45.960 --> 24:51.320] the things he's promoting and doing, they all stand up and scream and yell that his conviction [24:51.320 --> 24:54.880] proves they're right. [24:54.880 --> 25:02.060] And I'm not exactly sure how that works. [25:02.060 --> 25:04.200] He did everything right and still went to jail. [25:04.200 --> 25:05.200] Is that what they're saying? [25:05.200 --> 25:07.160] Now, and I'm not saying that that never happens. [25:07.160 --> 25:11.600] Don't get me wrong here, but the simple fact of the matter is, is that what I've seen most [25:11.600 --> 25:20.640] of the patronates do, I can't find any valid source for and verification that it was ever [25:20.640 --> 25:24.560] a thing and ever a valid thing. [25:24.560 --> 25:28.600] But they sure do it, and they sure pay the price for it. [25:28.600 --> 25:34.560] And so do those who listen to them, and yet they continue to listen to them. [25:34.560 --> 25:43.640] And I find myself shaking my head and wondering, what are these people smoking, eating, drinking, [25:43.640 --> 25:55.720] injecting, inhaling, something, because it's certainly not just air and food and water. [25:55.720 --> 26:01.560] Because I don't see how you could get that out of brain by consuming just those things. [26:01.560 --> 26:04.680] You got to be putting something extra in there. [26:04.680 --> 26:10.960] Now, I've had these people challenge me on Facebook and my legal blog and in my class [26:10.960 --> 26:15.280] and I mean just all over the place, they've called in the show and tried it and so on [26:15.280 --> 26:17.000] and so forth. [26:17.000 --> 26:26.080] And to this day, to this day, not a single one has ever produced one piece of verifiable [26:26.080 --> 26:32.640] information supporting what they claim to be true, not one. [26:32.640 --> 26:40.920] And the stuff that they do present, it is very easy to show that they are misrepresenting [26:40.920 --> 26:43.160] what they have. [26:43.160 --> 26:47.880] It can be intentional, it can be unintentional, but the fact is they're misrepresenting it. [26:47.880 --> 26:52.920] One, they'll show you some case law, except the case law they're showing you fits one [26:52.920 --> 26:54.840] of three criteria. [26:54.840 --> 26:57.840] It is completely fabricated fake BS. [26:57.840 --> 27:03.800] It has nothing to do with the substance issue or object of the case in which it is allegedly [27:03.800 --> 27:07.480] contained at all. [27:07.480 --> 27:16.320] Number four, number two, it is a statement from an actual case taken completely out of [27:16.320 --> 27:23.120] context and reworded to apply to a particular issue or subject that once again the case [27:23.120 --> 27:27.440] was not considering. [27:27.440 --> 27:38.840] Number four, three, all of the above, it will contain half fabrication, half out of context, [27:38.840 --> 27:45.120] half misquoted, half misapplied and all completely misunderstood. [27:45.120 --> 27:52.320] And yet, does not matter whether you show them the case, you get them to read the case, [27:52.320 --> 27:58.400] doesn't matter, they will keep spreading the disinformation over the valid information [27:58.400 --> 28:03.360] every opportunity they get. [28:03.360 --> 28:10.920] It's like they're a wind up toy that's only built to go in one direction in their brain [28:10.920 --> 28:20.920] and there is no course correction hardware or software built in where it can be adjusted. [28:20.920 --> 28:28.200] The only thing that changes their mind is death because then it doesn't matter. [28:28.200 --> 28:35.480] Now I deal with this every single day and then I deal with people that take absolutely [28:35.480 --> 28:40.000] no effort upon themselves to learn anything. [28:40.000 --> 28:46.080] They come to you wanting every single little aspect of every single thing done for them [28:46.080 --> 28:48.360] answered for them and put in front of them. [28:48.360 --> 28:55.560] Well, there's a problem with that method of information sharing. [28:55.560 --> 28:58.480] You've got nothing invested in it. [28:58.480 --> 29:08.480] So that means a few things are going to go wrong with you and the use of that information. [29:08.480 --> 29:12.760] One, since you have nothing invested in it, you will treat it as worthless and you will [29:12.760 --> 29:18.200] take no time and no effort and no investment of yourself in actually learning the information. [29:18.200 --> 29:23.240] You will simply regurgitate it in paper or verbal form and not have a clue about why [29:23.240 --> 29:29.800] you're saying it, how it works, what it pertains to and what supports it in a way that you [29:29.800 --> 29:33.960] can refute any challenge being made to something you're saying. [29:33.960 --> 29:40.920] Because this stuff is interwoven and none of it stands alone and in isolation apart from [29:40.920 --> 29:42.240] everything else. [29:42.240 --> 29:48.240] It's always attached to something else and you have to know all of it in order to make [29:48.240 --> 29:50.840] that support work. [29:50.840 --> 29:54.520] But these people don't understand that and they don't really want to understand that [29:54.520 --> 30:19.520] it seems. [30:19.520 --> 30:25.440] You'll never get it back again and once your privacy is gone, you'll find your freedoms [30:25.440 --> 30:27.400] will start to vanish too. [30:27.400 --> 30:32.680] So protect your rights, say no to surveillance and keep your information to yourself. [30:32.680 --> 30:35.180] Privacy, it's worth hanging on to. [30:35.180 --> 30:40.800] This message is brought to you by StartPage.com, the private search engine alternative to Google, [30:40.800 --> 30:42.520] Yahoo and Bing. [30:42.520 --> 30:45.840] Start over with StartPage. [30:45.840 --> 30:50.440] In Maine, 16-year-old Justin Holman made a two-minute YouTube video for his American [30:50.440 --> 30:51.840] government class. [30:51.840 --> 30:57.160] The clip showed military parades in North Korea, military drills in American cities, [30:57.160 --> 31:02.320] and TV reporters wondering aloud whether the Republican Party had disenfranchised presidential [31:02.320 --> 31:04.520] candidate Ron Paul. [31:04.520 --> 31:08.640] Justin got an A-plus, but then he got a visit from FBI agents. [31:08.640 --> 31:13.080] They grilled him on his hobbies and the video, and then Justin says they tried to recruit [31:13.080 --> 31:14.920] him as an informant. [31:14.920 --> 31:16.400] He declined. [31:16.400 --> 31:19.880] Are federal agents really interrogating suburban kids? [31:19.880 --> 31:24.320] Sounds to me like Justin's video on government abuse may have struck a little too close to [31:24.320 --> 31:25.320] home. [31:25.320 --> 31:31.320] I'm Dr. Catherine Albrecht for StartPage.com, the world's most private search engine. [31:31.320 --> 31:36.720] This is Building 7, a 47-story skyscraper that fell on the afternoon of September 11. [31:36.720 --> 31:38.720] The government says that fire brought it down. [31:38.720 --> 31:43.760] However, 1,500 architects and engineers concluded it was a controlled demolition. [31:43.760 --> 31:47.760] Over 6,000 of my fellow service members have given their lives, and thousands of my fellow [31:47.760 --> 31:49.160] force responders are dying. [31:49.160 --> 31:50.640] I'm not a conspiracy theorist. [31:50.640 --> 31:51.640] I'm a structural engineer. [31:51.640 --> 31:53.000] I'm a New York City correctional officer. [31:53.000 --> 31:54.000] I'm an Air Force pilot. [31:54.000 --> 31:55.600] I'm a father who lost his son. [31:55.600 --> 31:58.280] We're Americans, and we deserve the truth. [31:58.280 --> 32:01.120] Go to RememberBuilding7.org today. [32:01.120 --> 32:05.720] Rule of Law Radio is proud to offer the Rule of Law Traffic Center. [32:05.720 --> 32:08.160] In today's America, we live in a NUS against them society. [32:08.160 --> 32:11.320] If we, the people, are ever going to have a free society, then we're going to have to [32:11.320 --> 32:13.240] stand and defend our own rights. [32:13.240 --> 32:16.640] Among those rights are the right to travel freely from place to place, the right to act [32:16.640 --> 32:20.640] in our own private capacity, and most importantly, the right to due process of law. [32:20.640 --> 32:24.520] Traffic courts afford us the least expensive opportunity to learn how to enforce and preserve [32:24.520 --> 32:26.360] our rights through due process. [32:26.360 --> 32:29.880] Former Sheriff's Deputy Eddie Craig, in conjunction with Rule of Law Radio, has put together the [32:29.880 --> 32:33.640] most comprehensive teaching tool available that will help you understand what due process [32:33.640 --> 32:36.040] is and how to hold courts to the rule of law. [32:36.040 --> 32:40.040] You can get your own copy of this invaluable material by going to ruleoflawradio.com and [32:40.040 --> 32:41.360] ordering your copy today. [32:55.400 --> 33:03.000] Order your copy today and together we can have the free society we all want and deserve. [33:03.000 --> 33:29.680] Live Free Speech Radio, LogosRadioNetwork.com. [33:33.000 --> 33:36.440] Alright folks, we are back. [33:36.440 --> 33:38.440] This is Rule of Law Radio. [33:38.440 --> 33:45.720] Alright hang on a sec, I got a mouse jitter problem here and I don't know why, but anyway. [33:45.720 --> 33:54.240] Now, let me give you a little piece of wisdom from a gentleman by the name of Bertrand Russell. [33:54.240 --> 34:00.480] A stupid man's report of what a clever man says is never accurate because he unconsciously [34:00.480 --> 34:04.760] translates what he hears into something that he can understand. [34:04.760 --> 34:12.000] Now, this is how I feel about talking to attorneys and they're not on the clever side, trust [34:12.000 --> 34:14.560] me. [34:14.560 --> 34:21.120] The point here being that you can discuss law with an attorney all day and he's never [34:21.120 --> 34:27.520] looking at the law or hearing what you say, he is simply going through the motion of trying [34:27.520 --> 34:32.800] to find a way to refute your perspective of what it says. [34:32.800 --> 34:39.120] It doesn't matter if you're right, it doesn't matter if someone else higher than him has [34:39.120 --> 34:44.120] already agreed with you. [34:44.120 --> 34:51.120] Since he is the one supposedly learned in law versus a layman who is not supposed to [34:51.120 --> 34:59.480] be capable of knowing and understanding anything, as the stupid man, he perceives himself as [34:59.480 --> 35:02.480] always right. [35:02.480 --> 35:06.960] I've proven that in many many cases and opportunities with attorneys. [35:06.960 --> 35:11.440] I have sat right there and I have asked him straight up, do you think this is what the [35:11.440 --> 35:12.800] law actually says? [35:12.800 --> 35:13.960] Yes it is. [35:13.960 --> 35:19.360] I'd stake my reputation on it, well you don't have a reputation with me and the one you've [35:19.360 --> 35:25.160] got, trust me, there's no chance that you're going to harm it further, so here look at [35:25.160 --> 35:30.720] where you're wrong and then I have to sit there and deal with them trying 15 different [35:30.720 --> 35:36.080] ways to show me where I'm misreading it and me having to once again, like I said before [35:36.080 --> 35:44.480] we went to break, take all of the facts from all of the sources to support what I'm saying [35:44.480 --> 35:51.360] so that he cannot make a strong foundation for his perspective. [35:51.360 --> 35:54.240] That's what law is. [35:54.240 --> 35:59.680] There's another old saying that a court of law is a place where a jury gets to decide [35:59.680 --> 36:05.600] who has the best lawyer. [36:05.600 --> 36:12.840] So if you think going to court is not a lot like a game show, you better think again. [36:12.840 --> 36:17.800] But unlike most game shows where you only have to know the information they're giving [36:17.800 --> 36:22.360] you at the moment, like whatever the question is or whatever it is you're supposed to be [36:22.360 --> 36:30.200] guessing at or so on and so forth, you have to know the ins and outs of the game. [36:30.200 --> 36:34.440] You have to know the rules that bind not only you in playing the game but them in putting [36:34.440 --> 36:37.720] the game together. [36:37.720 --> 36:41.720] You have to know it inside and out. [36:41.720 --> 36:43.600] That's the major difference. [36:43.600 --> 36:47.240] Other than that, it's still very much like a game show. [36:47.240 --> 36:56.920] So I wipe out nervousness in a courtroom simply by knowing I'm on a game show and I don't [36:56.920 --> 37:01.200] have any winnings to lose and I don't have anything to gain except, you know, whatever [37:01.200 --> 37:02.200] I get. [37:02.200 --> 37:03.200] Great. [37:03.200 --> 37:05.600] I'm not walking out of there any worse for one way or the other. [37:05.600 --> 37:11.000] I may come out better but there's no way to come out worse in the game show. [37:11.000 --> 37:18.400] Now losing a trial, that's, again, if you do things properly and you get it moved up [37:18.400 --> 37:23.520] to appeal properly, then you're still going to wind up winning the game show. [37:23.520 --> 37:27.800] You're just going to go to a different set of judges to get an opinion on the way the [37:27.800 --> 37:31.560] game show was played that day. [37:31.560 --> 37:37.040] And that's what it's all about or at least that's what they turned it into. [37:37.040 --> 37:43.480] This is how the attorneys have rigged that aspect of the system and it is how the politicians [37:43.480 --> 37:47.800] have rigged their part of the system. [37:47.800 --> 37:57.360] And in case you haven't paid a lot of attention, most of those politicians are also attorneys. [37:57.360 --> 38:02.920] So you wonder why everything that they have ties together into one neat little package [38:02.920 --> 38:07.560] where the courts support what they do and make it look legitimate and so on and so forth [38:07.560 --> 38:08.960] when it actually isn't. [38:08.960 --> 38:10.760] Well, there you go. [38:10.760 --> 38:12.280] That's why. [38:12.280 --> 38:23.360] Now that being said, we can't fix it from where we are and we can't fix it from the [38:23.360 --> 38:24.360] inside. [38:24.360 --> 38:28.480] And the reason it cannot be fixed from the inside is because we don't control enough [38:28.480 --> 38:33.360] of the inside and we don't control it high enough up from the inside. [38:33.360 --> 38:37.960] And there aren't rules in place that would allow us to do the house cleaning necessary [38:37.960 --> 38:44.320] to fix it even from the inside. [38:44.320 --> 38:47.920] So in order to fix the system, you'd already have to have a majority control of the system [38:47.920 --> 38:53.120] and people of like mind and like desire to make that system work the way it's supposed [38:53.120 --> 38:59.120] to and I wish you all the luck and world at getting that to happen because once they're [38:59.120 --> 39:06.560] in the door, everybody's agenda becomes one of self-sustaining perpetuity it would seem. [39:06.560 --> 39:16.480] Not service, not doing the right thing, not even knowing what the right thing is anymore. [39:16.480 --> 39:23.400] Now I'm not the guy with the answers on how to solve all of this, I think I have some [39:23.400 --> 39:25.600] suggestions on how to fix some of it. [39:25.600 --> 39:30.240] I know one way we could absolutely remove the money from the politics and prevent whoever [39:30.240 --> 39:36.600] is running from being bought, I know I can solve that problem but nobody wants my solution. [39:36.600 --> 39:37.760] Why? [39:37.760 --> 39:43.160] Because the entire problem with the system of people being able to line the pockets [39:43.160 --> 39:50.120] of their specific guy is exactly the problem with the system when it comes to those guys [39:50.120 --> 39:57.280] working for their biggest donors who have an agenda of their own that these guys are going [39:57.280 --> 40:05.600] to be voting on once they're in office for payback if they won't stay in office whereas [40:05.600 --> 40:13.400] my solution absolutely removes that possibility and absolutely removes it from every aspect [40:13.400 --> 40:16.480] of the system. [40:16.480 --> 40:20.440] But again, nobody warned it because I can't use my money to support the other guy, I don't [40:20.440 --> 40:23.480] want my money going to him. [40:23.480 --> 40:27.960] Let's forget about the aspect of your voting for the underdog to begin with, you're putting [40:27.960 --> 40:32.720] a drop in the bucket that these other guys are collecting into his bucket and hope that [40:32.720 --> 40:38.760] he's going to win whereas my method ensures that everybody has the same size bucket with [40:38.760 --> 40:47.960] the same amount of water in it and thus your guy is now on equal footing with the other [40:47.960 --> 40:55.840] guys because nobody has more money to spend and more places to spend it than the other [40:55.840 --> 40:57.640] guy. [40:57.640 --> 41:08.320] For once the system is operating in equilibrium, but nobody wants it because it's an actual [41:08.320 --> 41:10.160] solution. [41:10.160 --> 41:11.160] Go figure. [41:11.160 --> 41:19.800] Like I said, you can't present good ideas to most people these days because just like [41:19.800 --> 41:28.440] what Bertrand Russell was saying here, they will unconsciously convert it from what was [41:28.440 --> 41:35.560] said to something they will and can understand and they will no longer be the same. [41:35.560 --> 41:37.400] Case in point. [41:37.400 --> 41:38.400] There you go. [41:38.400 --> 41:42.720] I think I'll put that in there and worked it in pretty well because that's exactly how [41:42.720 --> 41:44.200] it works out. [41:44.200 --> 41:50.440] All right, that being said, let's see if we can start taking some of these callers on the [41:50.440 --> 41:51.440] board here. [41:51.440 --> 41:53.120] First one up is Troy in Texas. [41:53.120 --> 41:54.720] Troy, what can we do for you? [41:54.720 --> 41:59.280] I've only got about two minutes for you to get started and then I've got to take a break. [41:59.280 --> 42:04.120] I wanted to ask you to start fixing the system in our Republican Constitution. [42:04.120 --> 42:10.040] Do you think by joining the Texas Republic is a good idea? [42:10.040 --> 42:12.120] What do you mean joining the Texas Republic? [42:12.120 --> 42:16.560] What is the, what Texas Republic are you referring to? [42:16.560 --> 42:17.560] TexasRepublic.com. [42:17.560 --> 42:23.800] Are you talking about the group known as the Republic of Texas? [42:23.800 --> 42:24.800] Yes. [42:24.800 --> 42:25.800] Okay. [42:25.800 --> 42:27.920] I don't know anything about them that much. [42:27.920 --> 42:33.160] Well, I guess it really depends on what your objective is. [42:33.160 --> 42:35.720] I know a bunch of the people that are in it. [42:35.720 --> 42:41.080] I was even elected as one of their representatives in my county and I didn't even run for office. [42:41.080 --> 42:47.480] I went to one meeting, one time, as a guest of a friend just to see what was going on [42:47.480 --> 42:51.880] and by the time I got back home, I'd been voted into their office for my county and [42:51.880 --> 42:55.840] I hadn't even asked to run. [42:55.840 --> 42:59.280] That's how desperate for members they were at that time. [42:59.280 --> 43:01.240] I got you, Will. [43:01.240 --> 43:09.520] Now that being said, the original heads, this little movement has separated multiple times. [43:09.520 --> 43:14.160] They're like an amoeba, they keep dividing, okay? [43:14.160 --> 43:16.120] And it's always over something. [43:16.120 --> 43:20.400] Somebody's got this idea or that idea, in fact, a couple of them are actually in prison [43:20.400 --> 43:25.960] right now for some ideas they had that wound up getting them in big trouble with the feds, [43:25.960 --> 43:30.160] even though they actually won the battle, they lost the war and wound up in prison for [43:30.160 --> 43:31.160] it. [43:31.160 --> 43:35.040] Okay, I didn't know that, that's why I wanted to ask you. [43:35.040 --> 43:36.760] So I'm not saying that they're bad. [43:36.760 --> 43:42.120] I'm just saying that you need to understand which group you're in, what they're trying [43:42.120 --> 43:47.400] to accomplish, and the means they're trying to get people to help them accomplish it before [43:47.400 --> 43:50.400] you make a decision to stay. [43:50.400 --> 43:52.840] Hang on just a second, Tony, and I'll finish this up on the other side. [43:52.840 --> 43:55.240] All right, folks, we'll be right back after this break. [43:55.240 --> 43:56.240] Y'all hang on. [43:56.240 --> 44:04.040] Are you the plaintiff or defendant in a lawsuit? [45:44.320 --> 45:48.680] Don't forget to like us on Facebook for information on events and our products. [45:48.680 --> 45:55.680] That's 512-264-4043 naturespureorganics.com. [46:18.680 --> 46:32.080] Alright folks, we are back. [46:32.080 --> 46:33.680] This is Rule of Law Radio. [46:33.680 --> 46:37.480] The calling number is 512-646-1984. [46:37.480 --> 46:42.520] Folks, we need your help, as usual. [46:42.520 --> 46:47.520] We need you to keep us in your financial plans as much as you can. [46:47.520 --> 46:53.320] We've got domain registrations and everything for the network that are due and owing here, [46:53.320 --> 46:55.600] and we're having to get those paid up. [46:55.600 --> 47:01.520] We've got the bills for the network also, and like I said, we don't draw a paycheck [47:01.520 --> 47:02.880] here for what we do. [47:02.880 --> 47:11.520] Our time on these shows is donated to you, but the equipment, the electricity, and everything [47:11.520 --> 47:18.160] that runs it, that comes out of our pockets, and there we need help. [47:18.160 --> 47:24.200] That's where you have to come in and step in to keep us here, because we can't do this [47:24.200 --> 47:26.520] all the time alone. [47:26.520 --> 47:31.000] It's very, very hard to do when this is the only thing you do, okay? [47:31.000 --> 47:36.760] Just read, study, research, and reach and teach others on what is happening and why [47:36.760 --> 47:41.120] it's happening and what to do about it, at least to the best degree possible. [47:41.120 --> 47:42.760] That takes a lot of time and effort. [47:42.760 --> 47:44.960] That's why attorneys suck at their job. [47:44.960 --> 47:47.320] They don't take the time and effort. [47:47.320 --> 47:50.280] We're not attorneys, and we know their job better than they do. [47:50.280 --> 47:57.600] We provide better information and results than they do, and we do it at no cost to you. [47:57.600 --> 48:03.840] 99.9% of the time, if you're using the information we provide on these shows or on my legal blog [48:03.840 --> 48:08.840] or on anything like that, okay? [48:08.840 --> 48:14.920] So please, where you can, however much you can, please donate. [48:14.920 --> 48:19.680] We cannot stay on the air without you. [48:19.680 --> 48:21.480] None of us here are independently wealthy. [48:21.480 --> 48:22.800] We don't have a trust fund. [48:22.800 --> 48:25.120] We don't have an income stream. [48:25.120 --> 48:28.920] What we get comes from you and you alone. [48:28.920 --> 48:35.040] And so you're the only lifeline we've got, just like we're the only real source of information [48:35.040 --> 48:42.400] on law and legal issues that you've got, unless you happen on your own law library. [48:42.400 --> 48:48.480] All right, folks, that being said, let's finish up our little discussion with Troy here. [48:48.480 --> 48:53.080] Troy, I'm sorry I called you Tony, but the thing that scrolled down, I couldn't see [48:53.080 --> 48:55.440] your name clearly, and I just glanced up real quick. [48:55.440 --> 49:00.640] But anyway, yeah, make sure of which group you're listening to and what it is they're [49:00.640 --> 49:02.040] trying to accomplish. [49:02.040 --> 49:08.280] I've been trying for years to get them to invite me out there to discuss those things [49:08.280 --> 49:12.560] with them and show them how to actually use this law to their benefit, and they've never [49:12.560 --> 49:13.560] done it. [49:13.560 --> 49:16.960] And I have tried for years. [49:16.960 --> 49:21.440] They have their own mindset about how they want to do things and it ain't always going [49:21.440 --> 49:22.520] to serve them well. [49:22.520 --> 49:26.320] So you got to be careful what choice you make. [49:26.320 --> 49:28.520] Okay, I understand that. [49:28.520 --> 49:38.800] I wonder, Randy talks a lot about doing a declaratory judgment, I wanted to ask this, [49:38.800 --> 49:49.000] is it possible to get evidence that a license is not required to travel and then have a [49:49.000 --> 49:55.960] judge do a declaratory judgment on it, and then you could carry that with you if he ruled [49:55.960 --> 49:57.920] in your favor or something? [49:57.920 --> 50:01.480] Well, the issue there is yes and no. [50:01.480 --> 50:05.920] First off, the license issue is an administrative law issue. [50:05.920 --> 50:09.760] It's not a judicial issue to begin with. [50:09.760 --> 50:14.800] The declaratory judgment over what it is would have to come from an administrative law judge. [50:14.800 --> 50:20.480] And here in Texas, the administrative law judges, there is only one office in all of [50:20.480 --> 50:27.320] Texas, according to the Texas law of the subject, that has the authority to make that decision. [50:27.320 --> 50:29.160] That's right here in Austin. [50:29.160 --> 50:34.040] And the guy that sits in it as the judge is nothing but a rubber stamp for the government [50:34.040 --> 50:35.040] agency. [50:35.040 --> 50:36.040] He does not care what the law says. [50:36.040 --> 50:37.760] He doesn't know what the law says. [50:37.760 --> 50:44.160] He only cares about whose side he's on and that is always the state agencies. [50:44.160 --> 50:51.200] I've got an article up on my legal blog where I helped a friend of mine out on an issue [50:51.200 --> 50:59.320] with the Texas Commission, Environmental Commission, and the law was on our side. [50:59.320 --> 51:03.520] The law made it very clear the commission had zero jurisdiction to do any of the things [51:03.520 --> 51:07.520] they were trying to do, and this administrative law judge still decided they were going to [51:07.520 --> 51:09.960] win no matter what. [51:09.960 --> 51:15.280] And then after they make that, it still has to be ruled upon by a judicial judge if someone [51:15.280 --> 51:21.880] challenges the administrative law judge's ruling because he is not the final word, but he must [51:21.880 --> 51:32.040] be the original word unless you can get such a ruling from a criminal court due to a conviction [51:32.040 --> 51:38.200] or at least an attempted conviction on a criminal charge relating to that license. [51:38.200 --> 51:43.520] Now if you can get the criminal court to agree about what it is or what it isn't, then you [51:43.520 --> 51:49.840] can use that precedent, but you've got to present it correctly before that's going to [51:49.840 --> 51:56.400] happen, and they don't like to listen to those facts or consider those facts because it gets [51:56.400 --> 52:03.520] into the money they can steal, and that is where the gravy is for them. [52:03.520 --> 52:07.000] Yes, I understand. [52:07.000 --> 52:15.000] How about, I wanted to ask you, have you, is it true somebody could have on their license [52:15.000 --> 52:20.840] when they get pulled over, they do not detain, is there something that is on their license? [52:20.840 --> 52:30.520] It's not on your license, but it will be in the electronic record that they would access, [52:30.520 --> 52:31.520] and yeah, it's possible. [52:31.520 --> 52:40.200] For instance, there are police informants that are specifically given those types of [52:40.200 --> 52:41.680] information in their record. [52:41.680 --> 52:46.480] If they ever get popped by the police for doing something illegal, then the information [52:46.480 --> 52:54.400] is shown that they're a CI or something to that degree, or they're told to contact officers [52:54.400 --> 53:01.440] so and so, which to them on the inside they know means we've got somebody here that's [53:01.440 --> 53:09.520] hooked up by some means, and so it affects how things go for sure. [53:09.520 --> 53:13.120] Now, have I personally ever seen one? [53:13.120 --> 53:17.800] No, not even when I was working as a deputy, I never personally saw one, except when it [53:17.800 --> 53:22.960] came to diplomats, but that was inherent in their credentials. [53:22.960 --> 53:30.760] Okay, so some of the talk that they have, they show, shows up do not detain, may not be, [53:30.760 --> 53:33.000] they may not be telling us the truth, huh? [53:33.000 --> 53:35.760] They may not be telling you the whole truth. [53:35.760 --> 53:38.760] Yeah, the whole truth. [53:38.760 --> 53:42.160] Okay, that's it from me. [53:42.160 --> 53:43.160] I'm going to hang up. [53:43.160 --> 53:44.160] Let you get to the next call. [53:44.160 --> 53:45.160] Thank you, Eddie. [53:45.160 --> 53:46.160] Okay. [53:46.160 --> 53:47.160] Yes, sir. [53:47.160 --> 53:48.160] Thanks for calling in. [53:48.160 --> 53:49.160] Bye-bye. [53:49.160 --> 53:50.160] Bye-bye. [53:50.160 --> 53:51.160] All right. [53:51.160 --> 53:52.760] Now we have Ken in New York. [53:52.760 --> 53:54.760] Ken, what can we do for you? [53:54.760 --> 53:56.760] Hi, Eddie. [53:56.760 --> 54:03.160] That's, it's amazing that the previous caller touched on something I was going to ask you [54:03.160 --> 54:04.160] about. [54:04.160 --> 54:06.160] I have a comment, I have a question. [54:06.160 --> 54:07.160] Ah, okay. [54:07.160 --> 54:11.320] I really appreciate the monologue, you should do it more often. [54:11.320 --> 54:16.240] Actually, I tend to do it quite a lot. [54:16.240 --> 54:19.320] It's just they're not always appreciated. [54:19.320 --> 54:25.920] Maybe, maybe I'm not listening enough, but. [54:25.920 --> 54:34.680] I would suggest that the best way to work on the system or cheat the system, it seems [54:34.680 --> 54:38.440] like the lowest common denominator is money. [54:38.440 --> 54:44.880] So in my case, I never tried to, I haven't had a car payment since 1989. [54:44.880 --> 54:49.880] I just, I managed to save some money up and I just buy five-year-old cars and yes, you [54:49.880 --> 54:52.120] do have to put money into them. [54:52.120 --> 54:56.000] However, at least you know that the money you're putting into them, you're getting [54:56.000 --> 54:59.960] brand new parts. [54:59.960 --> 55:06.640] And fortunately for myself, since I was in the electronics repair business for a long [55:06.640 --> 55:14.000] time before NASA came along and ruined it all, the toys that I bought a long time ago [55:14.000 --> 55:20.760] are still working today and I don't have to keep buying something new and then throwing [55:20.760 --> 55:21.760] it away. [55:21.760 --> 55:22.760] It's like Christmas. [55:22.760 --> 55:28.880] You know, you get a present, you play with it for a while and then it ends up in garbage. [55:28.880 --> 55:35.640] And I think the best way to attack the system is to do the equivalent of a slow run on the [55:35.640 --> 55:39.680] bank and not to use credit whenever you can avoid it. [55:39.680 --> 55:44.920] Here on Long Island, I noticed in the last five years, I've seen so many Mercedes on [55:44.920 --> 55:53.280] the road and Lexus and all these high-end cars and it's all because they're so desperate [55:53.280 --> 55:58.520] to make a sale, they'll sign anybody up for a lease. [55:58.520 --> 56:04.000] I mean, it used to be when you saw Mercedes, you know, somebody had something on the ball [56:04.000 --> 56:09.280] or they had some kind of horsepower, not all over the place and that's going to be the [56:09.280 --> 56:14.880] next big bubble in finance. [56:14.880 --> 56:20.080] And if people would just learn to live within their means, they wouldn't have these problems [56:20.080 --> 56:26.080] and the system would start to slowly starve or it would be like a slow run on the bank. [56:26.080 --> 56:31.520] Well, again, you'd have to get people out of a mindset they've worked very hard to incorporate [56:31.520 --> 56:34.000] themselves into. [56:34.000 --> 56:37.280] And I wish you luck. [56:37.280 --> 56:45.480] I, you know, I called up to these shows and I've been listening to you for 10 years and [56:45.480 --> 56:49.200] I'm going to remind you of something that you said about 10 years ago. [56:49.200 --> 56:55.960] Somebody called you up and said, gosh, Eddie, you're so, I'm just paraphrasing, you're so [56:55.960 --> 56:59.080] good at what you do, why don't you become a lawyer? [56:59.080 --> 57:05.080] And you said, well, I wouldn't lower myself, do you remember that? [57:05.080 --> 57:06.080] No. [57:06.080 --> 57:08.960] I promised my mother I wouldn't grow up to be a crook. [57:08.960 --> 57:14.880] No, you didn't say something like that, I wouldn't lower myself. [57:14.880 --> 57:19.960] Well, you have to look at it like this, I can't lower my IQ that far. [57:19.960 --> 57:20.960] Yeah. [57:20.960 --> 57:23.320] Now, that I would definitely say. [57:23.320 --> 57:28.920] I don't think it was said in that way, I think it was a slightly different way. [57:28.920 --> 57:34.400] Well, the point I'm making is, is that even as an attorney, you cannot fix this system [57:34.400 --> 57:35.400] on the inside. [57:35.400 --> 57:39.800] You can't be the correct kind of attorney because the system will eat you. [57:39.800 --> 57:42.480] It will destroy you to protect itself. [57:42.480 --> 57:47.400] There are many disbarred attorneys out there who know this for a fact. [57:47.400 --> 57:51.600] They spent their lives fighting against the system and the corruption and the judges that [57:51.600 --> 57:57.960] were ruling over it and it cost them everything and they accomplished very little by doing [57:57.960 --> 57:59.960] it that way. [57:59.960 --> 58:07.680] I'd like to ask you one question, if I hear the music, if I could ask you a question. [58:07.680 --> 58:08.680] Sure. [58:08.680 --> 58:11.240] But you've got to ask it quick. [58:11.240 --> 58:12.560] Oh, okay. [58:12.560 --> 58:18.400] I haven't been stopped since 1990 and I haven't had a speeding ticket since 1985 and that [58:18.400 --> 58:22.320] was the last year I owned my Chevelle Super Sport. [58:22.320 --> 58:29.400] I told Randy about this, we were talking about it one time and I was always wondering why [58:29.400 --> 58:34.680] I never, I know something you should wonder about, how come I never get stopped? [58:34.680 --> 58:35.680] Okay. [58:35.680 --> 58:38.240] Well, hang on just a second and I'll see if I can think of an answer that you'll like [58:38.240 --> 58:39.240] from the other side. [58:39.240 --> 58:40.240] We'll be right back. [58:40.240 --> 58:50.360] Now hang on folks, we'll be right back after this break. [58:50.360 --> 58:55.800] The Bible remains the most popular book in the world, yet countless readers are frustrated [58:55.800 --> 58:58.600] because they struggle to understand it. [58:58.600 --> 59:04.000] Some new translations try to help by simplifying the text, but in the process can compromise [59:04.000 --> 59:07.240] the profound meaning of the Scripture. [59:07.240 --> 59:09.000] Enter the recovery version. [59:09.000 --> 59:14.960] First, this new translation is extremely faithful and accurate, but the real story is the more [59:14.960 --> 59:18.680] than 9,000 explanatory footnotes. [59:18.680 --> 59:23.680] Difficult and profound passages are opened up in a marvelous way, providing an entrance [59:23.680 --> 59:28.400] into the riches of the word beyond which you've ever experienced before. [59:28.400 --> 59:33.520] Books from America would like to give you a free recovery version simply for the asking. [01:00:21.000 --> 01:00:32.000] Markets for the 11th of April 2018 close with gold $1,353.22 an ounce, silver $16.68 an ounce, [01:00:32.000 --> 01:00:41.840] Texas crude $65.51 a barrel, bitcoins at $6,902.19, ethereum at $420.80, bitcoin cash [01:00:41.840 --> 01:00:55.840] at $652.90, and finally litecoins at $114.34 a cryptocoin. [01:00:55.840 --> 01:01:01.440] Today in history, the year 1968, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act [01:01:01.440 --> 01:01:06.360] of 1968, which prohibited private businesses from discriminating based on race, color, [01:01:06.360 --> 01:01:08.240] religion, sex, or national origin. [01:01:08.240 --> 01:01:13.400] It also prohibited unequal application of voter registration requirements, racial segregation [01:01:13.400 --> 01:01:18.400] in public schools, in employment, and public accommodations for places of business. [01:01:18.400 --> 01:01:21.400] Today in history. [01:01:21.400 --> 01:01:28.240] In recent news, tensions in Syria seem to have reached new levels after a chemical attack [01:01:28.240 --> 01:01:32.520] on civilians in the city of Douma, which left 40 dead and many injured, an attack which [01:01:32.520 --> 01:01:36.960] is being blamed on the democratically elected president of Syria, Bashar al-Assad, by the [01:01:36.960 --> 01:01:42.160] United States, and on Israel by Russia, either accusatory narrative without any verified evidence [01:01:42.160 --> 01:01:43.600] as of yet. [01:01:43.600 --> 01:01:47.440] President Trump tweeted today Wednesday that if, quote, Russia vows to shoot down any and [01:01:47.440 --> 01:01:51.800] all missiles fired at Syria, get ready, Russia, because they will be coming in nice and new [01:01:51.800 --> 01:01:56.640] and smart, going on to warn Russia that you shouldn't be partners with a gas-killing animal [01:01:56.640 --> 01:01:58.840] who kills his people and enjoys it. [01:01:58.840 --> 01:02:02.880] Many in the West, including President Trump, have been quick to conclude that this chemical [01:02:02.880 --> 01:02:07.040] attack must have been conducted by Assad and his forces. [01:02:07.040 --> 01:02:11.280] Syria and Russia, on the other hand, have given approval since yesterday for the Organization [01:02:11.280 --> 01:02:16.080] for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to investigate the sign of the chemical slaughter. [01:02:16.080 --> 01:02:19.600] Assad has been successful in maintaining rule and support during Syria's seven-year civil [01:02:19.600 --> 01:02:24.200] war, a civil war that is being fought by the government of Syria and anti-Assad Syrian [01:02:24.200 --> 01:02:29.000] rebels that are openly being funded by Western governments, with ISIS being one of the more [01:02:29.000 --> 01:02:32.720] notorious splinter groups of the American-backed Syrian rebels. [01:02:32.720 --> 01:02:38.080] No surprise, then, why Russian Foreign Minister Spokeswoman Maria Zakoba posted on Facebook [01:02:38.080 --> 01:02:43.120] that smart missiles should be fired at terrorists and not at a legitimate government, which has [01:02:43.120 --> 01:02:44.640] been fighting terrorists. [01:02:44.640 --> 01:02:48.480] Or is this a trick to destroy all traces with a smart missile strike, and then there will [01:02:48.480 --> 01:02:51.600] be no evidence for international inspectors to look at? [01:02:51.600 --> 01:03:05.120] This was Rick Rody with your lowdown for April 11, 2018. [01:03:05.120 --> 01:03:22.520] Hi everybody. [01:03:22.520 --> 01:03:47.060] All right folks, we are back. [01:03:47.060 --> 01:03:54.320] All right, let's call it number 512-646-1984, give us a call, get in line, let's talk a [01:03:54.320 --> 01:03:55.320] little bit. [01:03:55.320 --> 01:03:57.320] We are talking to Ken in New York. [01:03:57.320 --> 01:04:00.200] All right, Ken, let me see. [01:04:00.200 --> 01:04:03.560] Your question was, why haven't you been pulled over and all this time? [01:04:03.560 --> 01:04:06.040] My answer is, I have no idea. [01:04:06.040 --> 01:04:11.040] Maybe nobody's saw you. [01:04:11.040 --> 01:04:22.920] Because I've traveled around in my car here for six and a half years and I got pulled [01:04:22.920 --> 01:04:34.720] over two years into it four times in a month and never got called into court a single time [01:04:34.720 --> 01:04:36.880] out of those four stops. [01:04:36.880 --> 01:04:45.760] Well, when I had the Chevelle, I used to, I would get pulled over if we go in 10 miles [01:04:45.760 --> 01:04:51.560] an hour above 10 miles passing a school. [01:04:51.560 --> 01:04:56.680] The car was red, maybe it was attracting the police or something, but I had actually [01:04:56.680 --> 01:05:00.920] been pulled over several times, got several tickets, I paid for several of them, one or [01:05:00.920 --> 01:05:04.840] two, I went to court, I got them knocked down a little bit. [01:05:04.840 --> 01:05:12.080] And then after I sold the Chevelle, I had been stopped one time. [01:05:12.080 --> 01:05:20.720] I had like a cavalier or something less conspicuous and since 1990, I have been stopped once. [01:05:20.720 --> 01:05:26.280] And I'll typically go, don't be sitting on the side of the highway or hiding in the butchers. [01:05:26.280 --> 01:05:32.880] On Long Island, what they have is, of course, there's no such thing as quarters, but every [01:05:32.880 --> 01:05:39.040] first in the 15th of the month, you'll see the cops all out hiding behind bushes along [01:05:39.040 --> 01:05:44.480] main thoroughfares, harvesting revenue. [01:05:44.480 --> 01:05:51.280] And I go 65 miles an hour, sometimes even close to 70, I don't get pulled over. [01:05:51.280 --> 01:05:57.680] All right, well, like I said, there's a million different possible reasons why and I don't [01:05:57.680 --> 01:06:01.040] know what any of them would be an application to you. [01:06:01.040 --> 01:06:04.480] I guess we'll just have to chalk it up to the luck of the Irish. [01:06:04.480 --> 01:06:06.480] Assuming you're Irish? [01:06:06.480 --> 01:06:07.480] Okay. [01:06:07.480 --> 01:06:09.480] And a half a target. [01:06:09.480 --> 01:06:10.480] Thank you, Eddie. [01:06:10.480 --> 01:06:11.480] Good night. [01:06:11.480 --> 01:06:12.480] Yes, sir. [01:06:12.480 --> 01:06:13.480] You have a good night. [01:06:13.480 --> 01:06:14.480] All right. [01:06:14.480 --> 01:06:19.920] Next up in line, let's see, is John in New York. [01:06:19.920 --> 01:06:22.120] John, what can we do for you? [01:06:22.120 --> 01:06:23.120] Hi, Eddie. [01:06:23.120 --> 01:06:24.120] Thank you. [01:06:24.120 --> 01:06:26.040] Thank you for all the work you do on the air. [01:06:26.040 --> 01:06:27.040] We appreciate it. [01:06:27.040 --> 01:06:33.600] And I've been thinking more about it, and I've recently come up with an additional question [01:06:33.600 --> 01:06:37.920] on this situation, and if you'd be kind enough to go over it with me. [01:06:37.920 --> 01:06:38.920] What situation? [01:06:38.920 --> 01:06:45.320] Okay, local city council recently in the last two, three years passed a law forbidding riding [01:06:45.320 --> 01:06:50.160] bicycle on the sidewalk in the downtown area of my town. [01:06:50.160 --> 01:06:56.960] And I've come up with another question, it's stupid and putting bikers in danger because [01:06:56.960 --> 01:06:59.640] there are no bike lanes in the street. [01:06:59.640 --> 01:07:04.400] Most cars park at a 45-degree angle downtown, and because of that, the driver can't see [01:07:04.400 --> 01:07:09.360] the bike in the street coming along when backing out of their parking space. [01:07:09.360 --> 01:07:15.280] Now, the case in point, twice I was riding in the street trying to comply with the law, [01:07:15.280 --> 01:07:21.960] the car was backing out of the parking space, a car was following behind me, and the two [01:07:21.960 --> 01:07:28.320] almost squashed me in between them because the driver coming out couldn't see me because [01:07:28.320 --> 01:07:33.160] of the 45-degree angle that parking goes on in my town. [01:07:33.160 --> 01:07:39.800] Now, that happened twice to me because they passed a law without first doing their homework, [01:07:39.800 --> 01:07:44.280] without knowing what they're doing, they had no idea the danger, they put people in bikes [01:07:44.280 --> 01:07:50.640] on them, the bikes in too, and they do stupid things like government employees usually do. [01:07:50.640 --> 01:07:57.400] So I said to myself, I'm not putting, they're not putting on my tombstone, what a guy, he [01:07:57.400 --> 01:08:03.440] died following a dumb law written by idiots who can't think before they pass laws. [01:08:03.440 --> 01:08:06.240] What a civic minded gentleman he is. [01:08:06.240 --> 01:08:11.640] Well, so my question is, when you get a ticket for biking on the sidewalk, what's the best [01:08:11.640 --> 01:08:15.240] defense that you can think of? [01:08:15.240 --> 01:08:21.320] Well, first off, how would you prove your case that they're responsible? [01:08:21.320 --> 01:08:24.880] You can't point to the law and say the law is what put me in danger unless you make a [01:08:24.880 --> 01:08:26.880] case for that, right? [01:08:26.880 --> 01:08:27.880] Right. [01:08:27.880 --> 01:08:34.640] So how do you make a case that the city council cannot enact a law that knowingly endangers [01:08:34.640 --> 01:08:35.640] the public? [01:08:35.640 --> 01:08:39.240] Well, because I've heard it said by others. [01:08:39.240 --> 01:08:41.880] No, you're not listening to what I'm saying, okay? [01:08:41.880 --> 01:08:42.880] All right. [01:08:42.880 --> 01:08:45.360] I'm not asking you to give me a dissertation. [01:08:45.360 --> 01:08:51.760] I'm asking you, how do you go about making that case? [01:08:51.760 --> 01:08:54.360] And I'm not asking you to answer me. [01:08:54.360 --> 01:08:58.840] I'm asking you to think about it and then do the research required to come up with the [01:08:58.840 --> 01:09:04.920] answer because the answer is always going to be the same, case law. [01:09:04.920 --> 01:09:09.480] And if there isn't anything, you need to write it, your defense in such a way as to create [01:09:09.480 --> 01:09:14.240] it, which means you've got to go, not only do you have to present the case, but you've [01:09:14.240 --> 01:09:19.320] got to get it all the way up to the appellate courts and maybe even the state supreme court [01:09:19.320 --> 01:09:25.960] on the issue to show that the city is knowingly and willfully endangering the public or at [01:09:25.960 --> 01:09:31.200] least certain members of the public by forcing them to ride in traffic with cars without [01:09:31.200 --> 01:09:33.000] consideration for the safety. [01:09:33.000 --> 01:09:37.720] Now, and they did that by not installing bike lanes or whatever. [01:09:37.720 --> 01:09:43.120] But now the pedestrians can make the same argument on the sidewalks that you're making [01:09:43.120 --> 01:09:44.920] for the bicycle in the street. [01:09:44.920 --> 01:09:46.800] And don't forget that. [01:09:46.800 --> 01:09:52.360] Even though it's only one incident, the bathroom and the next one. [01:09:52.360 --> 01:09:53.960] You're missing the point here. [01:09:53.960 --> 01:09:54.960] All right. [01:09:54.960 --> 01:09:55.960] All right. [01:09:55.960 --> 01:09:56.960] I got this. [01:09:56.960 --> 01:09:57.960] I read this. [01:09:57.960 --> 01:09:58.960] Okay. [01:09:58.960 --> 01:10:04.280] So that's the best approach, what you just told me. [01:10:04.280 --> 01:10:05.960] I would think so. [01:10:05.960 --> 01:10:06.960] Yeah. [01:10:06.960 --> 01:10:07.960] Okay. [01:10:07.960 --> 01:10:08.960] All right. [01:10:08.960 --> 01:10:12.040] Another, and I'll move on to the next one. [01:10:12.040 --> 01:10:18.720] I know that one of your specialties is definitely traffic law, driving laws, traffic tickets. [01:10:18.720 --> 01:10:25.080] But how familiar are you with the uniformed commercial code and how it protects you against [01:10:25.080 --> 01:10:31.640] credit card debt and how to use the use-and-seek to your advantage to possibly spring yourself [01:10:31.640 --> 01:10:35.280] from credit card debt, instead of going to a bank one? [01:10:35.280 --> 01:10:40.760] Again, there are many ways dealing with credit card debts, okay? [01:10:40.760 --> 01:10:42.080] All right. [01:10:42.080 --> 01:10:48.200] But at the same time, I don't see what that has to do with the UCC since the UCC and get [01:10:48.200 --> 01:10:53.240] this through your head and everyone else listening to this, it keeps throwing up the UCC. [01:10:53.240 --> 01:10:59.400] The UCC is not binding law on anyone. [01:10:59.400 --> 01:11:05.520] It is a set of guiding commercial principles, but it is not binding law. [01:11:05.520 --> 01:11:06.520] Period. [01:11:06.520 --> 01:11:07.520] End of discussion. [01:11:07.520 --> 01:11:09.800] It doesn't matter what it says in the long run. [01:11:09.800 --> 01:11:14.120] If there's not a law, that directly implements what it says. [01:11:14.120 --> 01:11:15.120] Got it? [01:11:15.120 --> 01:11:16.120] Okay. [01:11:16.120 --> 01:11:17.120] So another word. [01:11:17.120 --> 01:11:18.120] 30? [01:11:18.120 --> 01:11:19.120] No. [01:11:19.120 --> 01:11:21.160] I didn't say they were useless. [01:11:21.160 --> 01:11:25.400] They will give you an idea of what you need to be finding in some actual case law or something [01:11:25.400 --> 01:11:30.560] else in relation to them if any exists. [01:11:30.560 --> 01:11:35.480] And they are supposed to be guidelines, but they are not binding law. [01:11:35.480 --> 01:11:40.640] And any court in this state or in this country will tell you that. [01:11:40.640 --> 01:11:43.120] All right. [01:11:43.120 --> 01:11:52.320] Next, how familiar are you with dealing with backstreet taxes? [01:11:52.320 --> 01:11:55.600] I'm not because Texas doesn't have them. [01:11:55.600 --> 01:11:56.600] Oh, okay. [01:11:56.600 --> 01:11:57.600] All right. [01:11:57.600 --> 01:11:59.720] Now, last question. [01:11:59.720 --> 01:12:05.080] Have you ever heard of CAFR, that's C-A- [01:12:05.080 --> 01:12:07.520] Yes, I know what a CAFR is. [01:12:07.520 --> 01:12:08.520] What about it? [01:12:08.520 --> 01:12:15.320] To tell me what you know about CAFR, I appreciate it very much. [01:12:15.320 --> 01:12:19.520] Why do you need to know what I know about CAFRs? [01:12:19.520 --> 01:12:24.720] Well, because of what I've read, which is very limited, I haven't done an awful lot [01:12:24.720 --> 01:12:27.760] of background on CAFRs, they're... [01:12:27.760 --> 01:12:28.760] Okay. [01:12:28.760 --> 01:12:32.280] Then how does knowing what I know about them improve that for you? [01:12:32.280 --> 01:12:36.000] Well, I'm sure you probably know a lot more about them than I do. [01:12:36.000 --> 01:12:38.240] Well, that may not be true. [01:12:38.240 --> 01:12:41.200] You may have actually read more about them than I have. [01:12:41.200 --> 01:12:42.600] I know what they're for. [01:12:42.600 --> 01:12:44.960] I know how they're supposed to be done. [01:12:44.960 --> 01:12:46.680] I know what's supposed to be in them. [01:12:46.680 --> 01:12:49.600] And I know what they show versus what we're told. [01:12:49.600 --> 01:12:51.440] Okay, tell me what you know. [01:12:51.440 --> 01:12:53.200] Then I'll tell you what I know. [01:12:53.200 --> 01:12:57.160] I don't have time on this show to go into a dissertation on CAFRs. [01:12:57.160 --> 01:13:00.760] Oh, all right. [01:13:00.760 --> 01:13:04.640] This is for questions, not for me to get up here unless I'm giving you information at [01:13:04.640 --> 01:13:07.680] the beginning or I take the whole show to do this. [01:13:07.680 --> 01:13:11.120] That's when I do that, not for each caller. [01:13:11.120 --> 01:13:12.120] Okay, sorry. [01:13:12.120 --> 01:13:15.760] No, I didn't mean to, you know, discombobulate you. [01:13:15.760 --> 01:13:19.880] Well, you're not discombobulating me, but you are drawing out this call to be an extremely [01:13:19.880 --> 01:13:23.880] long one for an entire section when I've got other people up here that want to get on, [01:13:23.880 --> 01:13:24.880] too. [01:13:24.880 --> 01:13:25.880] Oh, okay. [01:13:25.880 --> 01:13:28.480] Well, then I'll clear the line and let you get on. [01:13:28.480 --> 01:13:29.480] Okay. [01:13:29.480 --> 01:13:30.480] Nice call in. [01:13:30.480 --> 01:13:32.480] All right. [01:13:32.480 --> 01:13:33.480] Next caller up. [01:13:33.480 --> 01:13:35.280] Don't have a name to go with it. [01:13:35.280 --> 01:13:36.280] Hello. [01:13:36.280 --> 01:13:37.280] Can you hear me? [01:13:37.280 --> 01:13:39.480] Eddie, is this me? [01:13:39.480 --> 01:13:40.880] Well, I don't know. [01:13:40.880 --> 01:13:41.880] Is it you? [01:13:41.880 --> 01:13:46.080] Well, it's Jimmy from Lumberton. [01:13:46.080 --> 01:13:48.560] Hi, Jimmy from Lumberton. [01:13:48.560 --> 01:13:56.120] Okay, Eddie, I've got, okay, how do I say this? [01:13:56.120 --> 01:13:59.000] Have you ever heard of an invalid license? [01:13:59.000 --> 01:14:00.000] Yeah. [01:14:00.000 --> 01:14:01.000] Okay. [01:14:01.000 --> 01:14:05.680] Well, that's what they got me on here in Lumberton. [01:14:05.680 --> 01:14:11.560] Now, are you saying invalid license or are you saying driving law license invalid? [01:14:11.560 --> 01:14:12.560] Oh, hold on. [01:14:12.560 --> 01:14:16.560] Let me take a look at that. [01:14:16.560 --> 01:14:22.920] Is it or how big a difference is that? [01:14:22.920 --> 01:14:24.920] Well, one's an actual crime. [01:14:24.920 --> 01:14:26.920] The other one isn't. [01:14:26.920 --> 01:14:27.920] Okay. [01:14:27.920 --> 01:14:42.200] Well, I was traveling at the time, and I gave him a license. [01:14:42.200 --> 01:14:46.200] Oh, great. [01:14:46.200 --> 01:14:49.960] I just got him a license. [01:14:49.960 --> 01:14:52.760] Can you hold one second and let me find this one? [01:14:52.760 --> 01:14:53.760] It's my... [01:14:53.760 --> 01:14:54.760] Hi. [01:14:54.760 --> 01:14:59.080] I'll be right back. [01:14:59.080 --> 01:15:00.080] Okay. [01:15:00.080 --> 01:15:02.720] Well, I'll have to continue on while you are. [01:15:02.720 --> 01:15:03.720] Hang on. [01:15:03.720 --> 01:15:04.720] Okay. [01:15:04.720 --> 01:15:09.400] While we're waiting on him to go get whatever it is he needs to get, I've only got a couple [01:15:09.400 --> 01:15:14.040] minutes left for the break anyway, so I'll pick him up on the other side after we're [01:15:14.040 --> 01:15:15.040] done. [01:15:15.040 --> 01:15:17.960] In the meantime, folks, let me say one more time. [01:15:17.960 --> 01:15:23.640] We need you to donate as much as you can as often as you can to keep us going here. [01:15:23.640 --> 01:15:24.960] Help us stay on the air. [01:15:24.960 --> 01:15:30.680] Help us get the electric, you know, keep it on, keep it going, keep the equipment maintained [01:15:30.680 --> 01:15:34.960] so that we can do what we're doing for you folks, okay? [01:15:34.960 --> 01:15:39.120] It would be great if we could actually earn a living while we're doing this, but we're [01:15:39.120 --> 01:15:40.120] not. [01:15:40.120 --> 01:15:46.000] I have to survive on whatever y'all were kind enough to donate and whatever I can earn [01:15:46.000 --> 01:15:51.480] on the side by helping others with whatever other odd jobs they've got. [01:15:51.480 --> 01:15:57.200] So this takes a lot of doing to do this and do it right, okay? [01:15:57.200 --> 01:16:00.920] So then I'll say it again, that's why the attorneys can't do it right. [01:16:00.920 --> 01:16:03.440] They don't put in the time and effort to know how to do it right. [01:16:03.440 --> 01:16:08.240] That's why they have to do the system the way they do it, okay? [01:16:08.240 --> 01:16:10.600] That's why the law doesn't matter to them. [01:16:10.600 --> 01:16:15.160] Only what they can get out of the law matters to them. [01:16:15.160 --> 01:16:20.080] So we need to change that paradigm, and the only way to do that is through education, [01:16:20.080 --> 01:16:23.760] through understanding, that's what we're here to help provide. [01:16:23.760 --> 01:16:29.880] If we're not here doing that, it's going to be all on you, and Lord knows you ain't got [01:16:29.880 --> 01:16:33.680] the time to do it if you're working a full-time job and everything else, especially if you're [01:16:33.680 --> 01:16:35.640] raising a family. [01:16:35.640 --> 01:16:43.400] So you need us just like we need to do what we're doing for our sake as well as y'all's. [01:16:43.400 --> 01:16:46.320] So please help us continue to be here. [01:16:46.320 --> 01:16:48.600] All right, folks, we're going to take another break. [01:16:48.600 --> 01:16:52.920] Y'all hang on, and we will be right back on the other side, and I will pick up our [01:16:52.920 --> 01:16:53.920] caller again. [01:16:53.920 --> 01:16:54.920] Y'all hold on. [01:16:54.920 --> 01:16:55.920] We'll be right back. [01:16:55.920 --> 01:17:09.920] It's the 2018 Logos Radio Network annual fundraiser and gun giveaway sponsored by Central [01:17:09.920 --> 01:17:10.920] Texas GunWorks. [01:18:00.560 --> 01:18:01.560] I love logos. [01:18:01.560 --> 01:18:05.080] Without the shows on this network, I'd be almost as ignorant as my friends. [01:18:05.080 --> 01:18:07.720] I'm so addicted to the truth now that there's no going back. [01:18:07.720 --> 01:18:08.920] I need my truth fit. [01:18:08.920 --> 01:18:13.640] I'd be lost without logos, and I really want to help keep this network on the air. [01:18:13.640 --> 01:18:17.360] I'd love to volunteer as a show producer, but I'm a bit of a Luddite, and I really don't [01:18:17.360 --> 01:18:20.760] have any money to give because I spend it all on supplements. [01:18:20.760 --> 01:18:22.320] How can I help Logos? [01:18:22.320 --> 01:18:24.240] Well, I'm glad you asked. [01:18:24.240 --> 01:18:28.600] Whenever you order anything from Amazon, you can help Logos with ordering your supplies [01:18:28.600 --> 01:18:29.600] or holiday gifts. [01:18:29.600 --> 01:18:31.920] First thing you do is clear your cookies. [01:18:31.920 --> 01:18:38.160] Now, go to logosradionetwork.com, check on the Amazon logo and book market. [01:18:38.160 --> 01:18:43.800] Now, when you order anything from Amazon, you use that link and Logos gets a few pesos. [01:18:43.800 --> 01:18:44.800] Do I pay extra? [01:18:44.800 --> 01:18:45.800] No. [01:18:45.800 --> 01:18:47.560] Do you have to do anything different when I order? [01:18:47.560 --> 01:18:48.560] No. [01:18:48.560 --> 01:18:49.560] Can I use my Amazon Prime? [01:18:49.560 --> 01:18:50.560] No. [01:18:50.560 --> 01:18:51.560] I mean, yes. [01:18:51.560 --> 01:18:56.280] Wow, giving without doing anything or spending any money, this is perfect. [01:18:56.280 --> 01:18:57.280] Thank you so much. [01:18:57.280 --> 01:18:59.000] We are Logos. [01:18:59.000 --> 01:19:01.000] Happy holidays, Logos. [01:19:01.000 --> 01:19:12.320] Logos Radio Network. [01:19:12.320 --> 01:19:28.040] As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I take a look at my life in real [01:19:28.040 --> 01:19:32.040] But I ain't never crossed a man that didn't deserve it [01:19:32.040 --> 01:19:35.040] TV treated like a punk, you know that's unheard of [01:19:35.040 --> 01:19:38.040] You better watch how you're talking, and where you're walking [01:19:38.040 --> 01:19:41.040] Or you and your homies might be lying in chalk [01:19:41.040 --> 01:19:44.040] I really hate to trip, but I got a look [01:19:44.040 --> 01:19:47.040] As they cook, I see myself in the pistol smoke pool [01:19:47.040 --> 01:19:50.040] I'm the kind of me your little homies wanna be [01:19:50.040 --> 01:19:53.040] Like all my knees in the night is tear-free [01:19:53.040 --> 01:19:56.040] I'm the kind of me your little homies wanna be [01:19:56.040 --> 01:19:58.040] Like all my knees in the night is tear-free [01:19:58.040 --> 01:20:00.040] It's been a good time [01:20:20.040 --> 01:20:23.040] Oh, yeah, you're definitely living in a gangster's paradise [01:20:23.040 --> 01:20:25.040] But the gangsters aren't who they're telling you [01:20:25.040 --> 01:20:32.280] are most of the time. Most of them wear uniforms and tell you that they're there to help and [01:20:32.280 --> 01:20:42.760] to serve. Well, it's a good byline. Certainly won over many, didn't it? Unfortunately, it's [01:20:42.760 --> 01:20:51.800] turned out to be a lie over and over again. Yes, sir. All right. Find your ticket. [01:20:51.800 --> 01:20:59.120] I'm back. Yes, sir, I did. All right. So what's the charge? Driving with license and [01:20:59.120 --> 01:21:06.200] valid. Driving while license and valid, not with. Or with. No. Yeah. While license and [01:21:06.200 --> 01:21:13.080] valid. While. Sure is. You're right. Okay. Sorry. All right. So what about it? So what [01:21:13.080 --> 01:21:17.800] do I need to do? Well, first off, do you have a Texas license or have you ever had a Texas [01:21:17.800 --> 01:21:24.840] license? Yeah, unfortunately, I have. Okay. And what is the current status of that Texas [01:21:24.840 --> 01:21:32.120] license? Evidently, it must be out. Well, that's not what I asked you. It's your job to know [01:21:32.120 --> 01:21:38.360] what the status of that issued license is. Did it expire naturally of old age on your [01:21:38.360 --> 01:21:45.440] birth on a previous birthday? Was it suspended due to some DUI conviction or some other offense [01:21:45.440 --> 01:21:52.360] that you didn't pay the fines on after getting convicted? What? Something I did in Louisiana. [01:21:52.360 --> 01:21:57.080] What do you mean something you did in Louisiana? You're saying that you had your license suspended [01:21:57.080 --> 01:22:04.120] in Texas because of something you did in Louisiana? Yes, sir. So your license is actually suspended? [01:22:04.120 --> 01:22:13.360] Well, I mean, yeah. Well, you mean, yeah. Okay. Yes, sir. I do mean it. I. When was [01:22:13.360 --> 01:22:20.520] it suspended? Things I should have taken care of. When was it suspended? I'm not really [01:22:20.520 --> 01:22:28.400] sure. Not really sure. How long ago did this thing in Louisiana occur? God, sir. How long [01:22:28.400 --> 01:22:38.800] ago did this thing in Louisiana occur? Over a year ago. Okay. And is this something you [01:22:38.800 --> 01:22:47.320] were supposed to take care of in Louisiana? Yes. And then they contacted Texas and told [01:22:47.320 --> 01:22:54.560] Texas and Texas suspended your license? Yes, sir. Did Texas ever give you notice of a hearing [01:22:54.560 --> 01:23:02.480] before they suspended that license? I didn't receive anything in the mail from Texas. Okay. [01:23:02.480 --> 01:23:18.760] Again, the answer to the question then would be, hello? I'm here. Well, how do I say that? [01:23:18.760 --> 01:23:26.080] What do I need? What do I need to do to remedy this? Well, that's what we're trying to figure [01:23:26.080 --> 01:23:33.200] out here. If you were never notified by Texas that you had a right to an administrative [01:23:33.200 --> 01:23:38.280] hearing, because there's a lot of calls I didn't take, they wouldn't have told you with [01:23:38.280 --> 01:23:43.840] a phone call. They would have had to have done it in writing. Well, I never received [01:23:43.840 --> 01:23:49.480] anything from Texas in writing. Did you receive anything from anyone else saying your license [01:23:49.480 --> 01:23:57.520] was going to be suspended? Louisiana. Did Louisiana say that your Texas license was [01:23:57.520 --> 01:24:05.400] going to be suspended or that your ability to drive in Louisiana was going to be suspended? [01:24:05.400 --> 01:24:14.720] No, sir. It was what they did since they're all a corporation. Stop. Don't tell me what [01:24:14.720 --> 01:24:19.600] anybody is. Answer my question and give me the information I'm asking, not your legal [01:24:19.600 --> 01:24:35.160] theories. Okay. Okay. The municipal, I don't know what they're called, something in Carleton, [01:24:35.160 --> 01:24:45.600] Texas, sent me some information or kept calling me. What information did they send you? They [01:24:45.600 --> 01:24:58.480] were going to do something. What information did they send you? What? A bill? A bill. Yeah. [01:24:58.480 --> 01:25:11.040] It was something that said that I'd have to plead guilty and pay the fine. Plead guilty [01:25:11.040 --> 01:25:22.960] to what? What happened in Louisiana? I had to plead guilty to the charges in Louisiana. [01:25:22.960 --> 01:25:28.360] Okay. Well, first off, Carleton Court can't tell you you have to plead guilty anywhere. [01:25:28.360 --> 01:25:35.920] Okay. Well, the information came from them. Well, I understand, but I don't think the [01:25:35.920 --> 01:25:41.000] information says what you're thinking it says. And if it does, well, then that's a problem, [01:25:41.000 --> 01:25:48.040] but it's still a separate issue because it's not relevant to what I asked you and what [01:25:48.040 --> 01:25:53.080] I asked you specifically was. You're saying something that happened, information from [01:25:53.080 --> 01:26:03.160] Texas. Yes. I would have done something then. Okay. So now you're having to go to court [01:26:03.160 --> 01:26:12.000] for this other thing? Yes. And that is when? This week. This week. Because I got the ticket [01:26:12.000 --> 01:26:21.640] on the third. Okay. Here's the thing. You need to go to the nearest DPS office ASAP. [01:26:21.640 --> 01:26:27.480] You need to ask for a certified copy of your driving record and a certified copy of any [01:26:27.480 --> 01:26:34.200] notices sent to you under that license in relation to suspension or anything else, including [01:26:34.200 --> 01:26:39.640] information related to what address it was mailed to, when it was mailed, etc., etc. [01:26:39.640 --> 01:26:44.920] You need to get that information. You need to get it yesterday. Okay. Now, here's their [01:26:44.920 --> 01:26:52.760] problem and potentially one they may not have and you may have a worse one. They are required [01:26:52.760 --> 01:26:57.600] to give you notice of an administrative hearing in relation to the suspension of a license. [01:26:57.600 --> 01:27:03.280] They cannot just automatically suspend it. Period. Okay. They have to give you notice [01:27:03.280 --> 01:27:08.360] and they have to give you the hearing. If they fail to do that, then you have an actual [01:27:08.360 --> 01:27:13.720] defense against the suspension and thus against the offense for driving on an invalid license [01:27:13.720 --> 01:27:23.920] because it was suspended. Okay. Okay. Because the suspension was illegal. That being said, [01:27:23.920 --> 01:27:29.520] I can't tell you one way or the other whether or not that's going to fly without seeing [01:27:29.520 --> 01:27:36.560] the information that you get and knowing exactly what you've been given so far. Okay. So, I [01:27:36.560 --> 01:27:43.200] can't answer your question completely. Okay. I got a question. Now, should I go get an [01:27:43.200 --> 01:27:50.320] extension from the court, the municipal court? You file a request for a continuance. It [01:27:50.320 --> 01:27:57.560] has to be notarized and you have to give a legal reason for it and that legal reason [01:27:57.560 --> 01:28:03.520] is no discovery has been provided. Of course, you haven't filed a motion for discovery either, [01:28:03.520 --> 01:28:08.520] have you? No, sir. Right. So, there's another issue there. I want to just look at you and [01:28:08.520 --> 01:28:13.920] go, well, you have an ask for discovery, blah, blah, blah, blah. Okay. So, I need to add. [01:28:13.920 --> 01:28:17.560] You don't know what you're asking for. Do you know how to write a motion for discovery? [01:28:17.560 --> 01:28:22.200] No, sir. Do you know what to ask for? This is my first deal to learn. I'm learning how [01:28:22.200 --> 01:28:27.480] to do everything. I just... Yeah. Well, here's the thing. Yeah. That's why you're not going [01:28:27.480 --> 01:28:31.600] to go in there and ask them for something based on discovery. That's the point I'm trying [01:28:31.600 --> 01:28:35.520] to make because you don't know what you're doing. All right. So, what you need to do [01:28:35.520 --> 01:28:42.440] is go in there and ask for a continuous based upon the attempt to acquire assistance of [01:28:42.440 --> 01:28:48.440] counsel. You are still trying to find and hire an attorney to help you with the case. [01:28:48.440 --> 01:28:55.400] Yes. Okay. Now, remember, you have to notarize that under penalty of perjury that that's [01:28:55.400 --> 01:29:01.600] what you're doing. So, try to call at least one more attorney after you file that thing [01:29:01.600 --> 01:29:09.600] and ask them if they'd be willing to represent you for free in this case. Okay. And when [01:29:09.600 --> 01:29:14.120] they tell you no, then you've legally obligated yourself to what you said in the document [01:29:14.120 --> 01:29:23.680] that you were looking for counsel. Gotcha. All right. I've got... Yeah. I know people [01:29:23.680 --> 01:29:35.160] that will probably do that for me. What do you mean people? At least one attorney. Okay. [01:29:35.160 --> 01:29:39.040] Well, the other thing is, is you need to go and start looking at my legal blog, which [01:29:39.040 --> 01:29:45.640] is Tal of Law, T-A-O-O-F. I've got all your information. Okay. Then start reading and [01:29:45.640 --> 01:29:50.680] reading hard. Hang on just a second and we'll finish this up on the other side of this break. [01:29:50.680 --> 01:29:57.880] Okay. All right, folks. Call in number 512-646-1984. I've got a half an hour to go. Y'all better [01:29:57.880 --> 01:30:05.320] call and get in line. Do you get jittery without your cell phone or iPod? If so, you may be [01:30:05.320 --> 01:30:10.640] suffering from what scientists now call gadget withdrawal. I'm Dr. Catherine Albrecht, back [01:30:10.640 --> 01:30:18.200] with details on a study into information deprivation disorder next. Privacy is under attack. When [01:30:18.200 --> 01:30:22.760] you give up data about yourself, you'll never get it back again. And once your privacy is [01:30:22.760 --> 01:30:28.320] gone, you'll find your freedoms will start to vanish too. So protect your rights. Say [01:30:28.320 --> 01:30:34.560] no to surveillance and keep your information to yourself. Privacy, it's worth hanging onto. [01:30:34.560 --> 01:30:40.160] This message is brought to you by StartPage.com, the private search engine alternative to Google, [01:30:40.160 --> 01:30:47.160] Yahoo and Bing. Start over with StartPage. As parents know, trying to keep a teenager [01:30:47.160 --> 01:30:52.560] off their computer or cell phone can result in a tantrum. But is it more than just petulance? [01:30:52.560 --> 01:30:57.440] A new study suggests young people may actually be experiencing gadget withdrawal, something [01:30:57.440 --> 01:31:02.360] akin to what drug addicts experience when they go cold turkey. Researchers had young [01:31:02.360 --> 01:31:07.720] people turn off cell phones, social networking, the Internet and TV for 24 hours and keep [01:31:07.720 --> 01:31:15.560] a diary. 20% described overwhelming cravings, 11% isolation, and 10% confusion and even [01:31:15.560 --> 01:31:20.920] deep depression. Digitize minds constantly scanning for a fix? Maybe it's time we pulled [01:31:20.920 --> 01:31:25.880] the plug on that smartphone. I'm Dr. Catherine Albrecht for StartPage.com, the world's most [01:31:25.880 --> 01:31:36.320] private search engine. I lost my son. My uncle. My uncle. On September 11th, 2001. Most people [01:31:36.320 --> 01:31:42.360] don't know that a third tower fell on September 11th. World Trade Center 7, a 47-story skyscraper [01:31:42.360 --> 01:31:47.160] was not hit by a plane. Although the official explanation is that fire brought down Building [01:31:47.160 --> 01:31:51.920] 7, over 1,200 architects and engineers has looked into the evidence and believed there [01:31:51.920 --> 01:31:58.520] is more to the story. Bring justice to my son. My uncle. My nephew. My son. Go to BuildingWhat.org. [01:31:58.520 --> 01:32:01.280] Why it fell? Why it matters as what you can do. Discounts [01:32:57.560 --> 01:33:04.480] are based on full roof replacement. I mean, I actually be kidding about chemtrails. [01:33:04.480 --> 01:33:11.480] If you're listening to the Logos Radio Network at LogosRadioNetwork.com. [01:33:34.480 --> 01:33:52.480] That's the way you do it. You play the guitar on the MTV. That ain't working. That's the [01:33:52.480 --> 01:34:10.480] way you do it. That's the way you do it. That's the way you do it. That's the way you do it. [01:34:10.480 --> 01:34:17.360] Alright folks, we are back. This is Rule of Law Radio. Call in number 512-646-1984 and [01:34:17.360 --> 01:34:25.480] we are talking with Jimmy in Texas. Alright, so anything else? Well, just making sure what [01:34:25.480 --> 01:34:32.560] I have is to file a continuance to find a lawyer. It has to be filed in writing. It has to [01:34:32.560 --> 01:34:38.120] be notarized. It has to have a penalty of perjury statement and the reason you're filing [01:34:38.120 --> 01:34:49.120] it is requesting an extension of time to file proper assistance of counsel. Okay, that's [01:34:49.120 --> 01:34:55.520] what I have to put in it? More or less, yes. Okay. Now you could probably go down to the [01:34:55.520 --> 01:35:00.320] municipal court and ask them for a continuance form and they will have it in some form filled [01:35:00.320 --> 01:35:05.840] out but it will still be in a motion form. So you need to take that. Make sure you fill [01:35:05.840 --> 01:35:13.120] it out the way it's required to be filled out. Get it notarized and file it back. ASAP. [01:35:13.120 --> 01:35:18.160] Because you have to, the problem here, however, is how close you are to appearing in court. [01:35:18.160 --> 01:35:24.840] Is this court your first appearance after the ticket? Yes. Okay. Then you need to object [01:35:24.840 --> 01:35:29.440] to being called in there without proper representation of counsel. That's why normally you need to [01:35:29.440 --> 01:35:34.320] have that filed in no letter than seven days prior but you don't have time to do that. [01:35:34.320 --> 01:35:44.320] So get it done and get it in there immediately, preferably all tomorrow. Okay. Oh, man, I've [01:35:44.320 --> 01:35:56.800] just, wait a minute. Okay. Yeah, Eddie, I was just going to tell you something. We've [01:35:56.800 --> 01:36:09.400] lived in this country. My family came in in 1620 and this is just finding out all this [01:36:09.400 --> 01:36:18.640] information that the hell they've been doing us is crazy. Yeah. Yeah, I do know. But yeah, [01:36:18.640 --> 01:36:25.120] you understand what I'm saying. I mean, yeah, but thank you very much and I'll try to help [01:36:25.120 --> 01:36:31.640] out as much as I can. Oh, we appreciate that. Thank you. Yes, sir. And I'll get back with [01:36:31.640 --> 01:36:39.400] you another time. All right, sir. You have a good night and good luck. Thanks. All right. [01:36:39.400 --> 01:36:47.960] Now we have Adam in Texas. Adam, what can we do for you? Hello? Can you hear me? I can [01:36:47.960 --> 01:36:59.920] hear you. All right. First subject is T-Cole Complaint. T-Cloes Complaint? Well, yeah, T-Cole, [01:36:59.920 --> 01:37:03.760] T-Cloes, Texas Commission on Law Enforcement didn't make a change that happened recently. [01:37:03.760 --> 01:37:12.720] Yeah. What about it? Yeah, well, the T-Cole Complaint is not an officer. Well, you know, [01:37:12.720 --> 01:37:17.600] T-Cloes is just the academy, right? They're not actually the ones responsible for sanctioning [01:37:17.600 --> 01:37:27.520] the officer. I understand that. Okay. My question is, is it better to do a T-Cloes Complaint [01:37:27.520 --> 01:37:33.520] online through the Commission or? I can't answer that. I don't know which one they respond [01:37:33.520 --> 01:37:40.440] to the fastest or which one contains the ability to put more information in it. I don't know. [01:37:40.440 --> 01:37:46.920] Okay. Now the T-Cole Complaint has to be notarized, correct? I don't know that either. I don't [01:37:46.920 --> 01:37:52.200] know if I'm pretty sure you'd want to do it under penalty of perjury and everything that [01:37:52.200 --> 01:37:58.600] it's a sworn true statement, but I'm not sure that it has to be. Well, from what I've [01:37:58.600 --> 01:38:01.520] read, it has to be. That's what the T-Cole Complaint says. Okay. Then that's what you [01:38:01.520 --> 01:38:07.160] do. If that's what it says, then that's what you do. Well, my question is, even if you're [01:38:07.160 --> 01:38:11.080] telling the truth, is there any way they can come back on you and say, well, we did an [01:38:11.080 --> 01:38:15.800] investigation and found out that your claims are false. And so now we're going to go after [01:38:15.800 --> 01:38:21.320] you. If you're making a false claim, then it depends on what the conditions are. If [01:38:21.320 --> 01:38:28.000] you're actually filing a criminal complaint, then technically no. But if you're filing [01:38:28.000 --> 01:38:35.440] just a complaint complaint and it's false and you did it under penalty of perjury, then [01:38:35.440 --> 01:38:41.080] oh yeah, they absolutely can come back at you for that. But who decides whether it's [01:38:41.080 --> 01:38:46.480] false or not? The facts and evidence will decide, or at least that's how it's supposed [01:38:46.480 --> 01:38:54.600] to work. Yeah. Okay. My point is, if you're going to make such a statement, you better [01:38:54.600 --> 01:39:00.600] have your ducks in a row, including your evidence to support it. Because if you don't, then [01:39:00.600 --> 01:39:04.920] you're looking at one of the possible ways they're going to try to turn it around on [01:39:04.920 --> 01:39:14.800] you. Yeah. So would a T-close still have its desired effect on the officer even if it [01:39:14.800 --> 01:39:19.360] wasn't notarized? Like I said, T-close has nothing to do with how the officer gets punished. [01:39:19.360 --> 01:39:24.120] I don't know why you would want to make a T-close complaint at this point anyway, unless you're [01:39:24.120 --> 01:39:28.640] actually trying to get them to revoke his license. That's exactly what I'm trying to [01:39:28.640 --> 01:39:32.400] do. Well, then you're going to have to get the support of his department to do that. [01:39:32.400 --> 01:39:36.840] So you can't complain to just T-close. You're going to have to go all the way up the chain. [01:39:36.840 --> 01:39:43.240] Okay. Because T-close does not work with the officer directly. His department does. And [01:39:43.240 --> 01:39:47.880] whatever recommendation or things his department goes with, that's what T-close is going to [01:39:47.880 --> 01:39:57.520] go with. Yeah. Yeah, but what about the insurance carriers and all the money T-close? Again, [01:39:57.520 --> 01:40:03.400] what's that got to do with the color of milk? Absolutely nothing. You're talking about multiple [01:40:03.400 --> 01:40:13.600] separate entities and things. Okay. All right. Well, next subject. I got this just the piece [01:40:13.600 --> 01:40:24.160] down here. And I've got her signature where she denied her own disqualification. Now, [01:40:24.160 --> 01:40:32.120] I understand that there is no, nowhere in Texas law or any other law can be found to [01:40:32.120 --> 01:40:41.200] any authority for... Is this a JP or a municipal judge? The JP. Okay. Here's what I try to get [01:40:41.200 --> 01:40:46.480] people to understand. There is no specific set of rules dealing with the disqualification [01:40:46.480 --> 01:40:54.480] of JPs. There are from municipal courts. Now, my theory and legal argument is, and one I've [01:40:54.480 --> 01:41:01.280] used is, that since they handle other than the JP being capable of handling civil, their [01:41:01.280 --> 01:41:10.240] criminal jurisdiction is exactly the same. The rules of procedure are exactly the same. [01:41:10.240 --> 01:41:17.080] The right of due process in either court is exactly the same. Therefore, the judge's requirement [01:41:17.080 --> 01:41:24.160] to follow the law is exactly the same. But since the legislature has not created a set [01:41:24.160 --> 01:41:30.200] of rules for disqualifying a JP, the only relevant rules we can find relating to disqualification [01:41:30.200 --> 01:41:34.880] in these lower level courts is chapter 29 of the government code dealing with disqualification [01:41:34.880 --> 01:41:43.840] of municipal judges. Yeah. Okay. But the fact is, is they are not directly bound by those [01:41:43.840 --> 01:41:51.760] rules because those rules speak directly to municipal and only municipal judges. Well, [01:41:51.760 --> 01:41:56.640] what about higher than a JP up to a county judge? Those rules have nothing to do above [01:41:56.640 --> 01:42:09.440] that. Chapter 29 specifically says municipal courts. Right. Okay. Well, that makes it tricky [01:42:09.440 --> 01:42:16.960] then. Yes, it does. I mean, how can you ever throw a bad JP off the bench through disqualification [01:42:16.960 --> 01:42:22.240] no matter what they do if there's no procedure? Exactly. Hence the reason I made the argument. [01:42:22.240 --> 01:42:29.440] You can't say I have a remedy for a violation of my rights in one court with the same jurisdiction [01:42:29.440 --> 01:42:34.400] and it turned out to say but not in this court with the same jurisdiction. There's something [01:42:34.400 --> 01:42:40.320] inherently wrong with that aspect of the justice system, right? So that's what I base the argument [01:42:40.320 --> 01:42:49.040] on. Failure to provide equal protection of the law. So yeah, that would develop into a whole [01:42:49.040 --> 01:42:56.640] another, whole another issue. All right. Well, I'm working on it. I'm going to go ahead and [01:42:56.640 --> 01:43:01.920] file criminal charge for official pressure on the JP anyway because this America and [01:43:02.640 --> 01:43:06.000] you shouldn't have the right to deny your own disqualification. It should be put in the hands [01:43:06.000 --> 01:43:11.440] of people. Well, again, disqualifications are supposed to be forwarded to a district judge. [01:43:11.440 --> 01:43:17.120] Normally what JPs will do is simply step aside and let another JP step in. That way, [01:43:17.120 --> 01:43:23.920] they sidestep the entire issue 99% of the time. Well, that's what happened. It's the judge pro [01:43:23.920 --> 01:43:31.600] 10 that stepped on the bench that I disqualified and with and and denied their own disqualification. [01:43:31.600 --> 01:43:37.600] Well, no, wait a minute. Did you disqualify the sitting JP or did you disqualify the pro 10 JP? [01:43:38.480 --> 01:43:44.320] I recused the sitting JP and he he agreed recused himself. So then they put in the next JP as a [01:43:44.320 --> 01:43:51.520] judge pro 10 and I disqualified her for a qualification purposes out of the government [01:43:51.520 --> 01:43:55.040] code. She wasn't qualified to sit at the judge pro 10 or property. Okay. Well, [01:43:55.040 --> 01:43:58.720] hang on just a second. We'll finish that up. All right, folks will be right back. Please visit ruleoflawradio.com and click on the banner. [01:46:19.040 --> 01:46:28.640] All right folks we are back this is rule of law radio and we are talking with Adam in Texas. [01:46:29.440 --> 01:46:36.000] Okay so if you've got the actual statutory methodology that proves that the interim judge [01:46:36.000 --> 01:46:42.000] was legally disqualified from sitting as a judge in the first place then what you need to do is [01:46:42.000 --> 01:46:50.000] get an injunction against that judge. So you're going to need to go up and not to mention a shoot. [01:46:51.440 --> 01:46:55.200] Yeah just the case has already been dismissed. I ended up winning. They threw it out [01:46:55.200 --> 01:46:59.520] in the interest of justice almost two years ago. It doesn't make any difference. You can still get [01:46:59.520 --> 01:47:03.840] an injunction filed against the judge from sitting in any court if they're just if they're legally [01:47:03.840 --> 01:47:10.080] not qualified to sit there. Well she would be qualified now because out of the government [01:47:10.080 --> 01:47:15.840] code to be a judge pro team you had to have at least four and a half years of experience as a [01:47:15.840 --> 01:47:20.880] judge. At the time she was eight months short but like I said that was two almost two years ago so [01:47:20.880 --> 01:47:30.080] now it wouldn't matter anymore. That was the only disqualification? Well that in the end of not [01:47:30.080 --> 01:47:35.920] following proper procedure to appoint the judge pro team in the first place after a refusal [01:47:35.920 --> 01:47:40.880] appointment. Well if she wouldn't have appointed herself that would be somebody else that screwed [01:47:40.880 --> 01:47:46.000] that up. Well yeah that's what I'm saying that the judge that recused himself. Well I'm simply [01:47:46.000 --> 01:47:53.040] talking about the one you're talking about that's legally disqualified. Was legally disqualified. Right [01:47:53.040 --> 01:47:58.720] and if that's the only issue you had with that one okay then I understand there's no point in [01:47:58.720 --> 01:48:03.520] pursuing it unless there's something else they did that should have completely disqualified them [01:48:03.520 --> 01:48:13.440] for remaining a judge. Well remaining a judge in my case yeah. Ever at all period. Oh well I mean [01:48:13.440 --> 01:48:18.240] it's an elected JP so I mean officer doesn't make any difference elected JPs could be kicked out of [01:48:18.240 --> 01:48:24.480] office. Well that's what I'm trying to do. Well hence the reason I was asking you if there was [01:48:24.480 --> 01:48:31.200] something besides that time limitation that you had on her for what she did. Yes the other other [01:48:31.200 --> 01:48:35.040] thing would be the improper procedure of the appointment of the pro team after a refusal. [01:48:35.040 --> 01:48:40.400] You're not listening to what I'm saying you can't blame the pro team for the appointment of the pro [01:48:40.400 --> 01:48:48.320] team. We're talking about two separate judges here are we not. Yes we are. Okay the pro team is the [01:48:48.320 --> 01:48:55.360] one that was legally disqualified because she didn't have proper time to sit right. Well yeah that was [01:48:55.360 --> 01:49:03.920] okay if she should not be a judge ever do you have anything on that judge beyond that accusation [01:49:04.480 --> 01:49:11.200] to keep her from sitting on the bench. If not then you're back to focusing on the original judge [01:49:11.200 --> 01:49:17.280] who was the sitting judge that you recused and they recused themselves but improperly appointed [01:49:17.280 --> 01:49:24.160] the next one right. Okay yeah following you. Okay so we're talking about two different judges [01:49:24.160 --> 01:49:30.400] two different sets of circumstances can you keep either of them from permanently sitting on a bench. [01:49:32.240 --> 01:49:38.880] I hope so. Well that's the point I'm trying to get to you if you've got legal issues or [01:49:39.440 --> 01:49:47.360] constitutional issues that would show that they are unfit to sit in that chair and serve that [01:49:47.360 --> 01:49:55.360] office then they can be removed. Well yeah with petition for removal. Yeah but you've got to be [01:49:55.360 --> 01:50:01.200] able to support that petition for removal it's the reason for my questions. Okay. [01:50:05.840 --> 01:50:08.720] All right all right so that's all I was trying to get at. [01:50:08.720 --> 01:50:15.840] All right well do you think I should go ahead and file criminal [01:50:15.840 --> 01:50:20.640] official oppression on the judge pro tem for denying her own disqualification. Well again if [01:50:20.640 --> 01:50:25.120] this was two years ago you may be passed a statute of limitations on making the allegation. [01:50:25.760 --> 01:50:30.640] Almost two years ago November 3rd will be two years so I still. Well even if you make the [01:50:30.640 --> 01:50:36.880] complaint someone has to file a swore of an indictment and everything else to go with it if [01:50:36.880 --> 01:50:42.320] it's above a class C. Well official oppression is a class day I was going to take a criminal [01:50:42.320 --> 01:50:46.560] complaint directly to district attorney and. Okay and then they would have to do something with it [01:50:46.560 --> 01:50:53.040] and they still only got that two years to do it in. Not only do they have to get the complaint [01:50:53.040 --> 01:50:59.520] filed but then they have to start the prosecution within that two years or it's a dead issue. [01:51:01.280 --> 01:51:06.640] Yeah well the district attorney would have to reduce the tune information and send it directly [01:51:06.640 --> 01:51:12.960] to the grand jury that's a job. Yeah doesn't mean they'll indict. Doesn't mean he would get the [01:51:12.960 --> 01:51:18.400] prosecution started before then. Yeah that's true they'll probably look at the date and just sit on [01:51:18.400 --> 01:51:25.520] until after November 3rd so the statute of limitations comes out. All right thanks. [01:51:27.200 --> 01:51:32.560] That's why I tell people if you're going to do this you need to do it immediately not wait [01:51:32.560 --> 01:51:38.480] because it'll always get worse if you wait. Yeah why didn't dawn on me until [01:51:40.160 --> 01:51:46.640] yeah all right. Well I guess that's all I got for tonight Eddie thanks a lot man. Yes sir [01:51:46.640 --> 01:51:55.600] thanks for calling in. Bye. Bye bye. All right and now we have Greg in Tennessee. Greg what [01:51:55.600 --> 01:52:05.680] do you got. Yes sir how are you not. I are tired if you really want to know. I know how you feel. [01:52:08.400 --> 01:52:20.080] Well my my thing ain't got nothing to do with traffic this time. Okay. I have been having a [01:52:20.080 --> 01:52:28.400] feud with my neighbor for 14 years. I haven't even been able to live in my house down there [01:52:29.120 --> 01:52:39.040] but anyway lately he just actually got elected constantly. We've got 14 years worth of history [01:52:40.000 --> 01:52:47.760] and him basically harassing me and all kinds of things. I shot his dog at one point you know [01:52:47.760 --> 01:52:54.000] he had people come over in his backyard when I come down there to work in my house and [01:52:54.880 --> 01:53:00.000] he'd have somebody down there you know how they do the police demonstrations. You have to [01:53:00.000 --> 01:53:06.000] pat on the arm and have his dog attack and all this stuff but anyway it's just ridiculous amount [01:53:06.000 --> 01:53:11.120] of stuff. There's no way I could explain it all to you 14 years worth and a little bit of time [01:53:11.120 --> 01:53:20.720] that we have but here's my question. He's now been elected constable and he's starting up and [01:53:20.720 --> 01:53:28.400] this has been dormant since 2013 but he's now been elected constable and he started all up again. [01:53:28.400 --> 01:53:37.920] He's all over me about everything. He's just you know driving me crazy. Anyway I've got charges. [01:53:37.920 --> 01:53:46.560] I got three charges aggravated, aggravated harassment. [01:53:49.200 --> 01:53:52.240] You've got charges against him or these are charges that are making against you? [01:53:53.200 --> 01:53:58.560] I'm getting ready to make these charges. I've got almost all the paperwork ready to go. [01:53:58.560 --> 01:54:03.120] Okay now let me ask you one question before you go any further on that. What are you going [01:54:03.120 --> 01:54:09.840] to use to substantiate the paperwork? Well I have my neighbor on the other side. [01:54:11.280 --> 01:54:19.520] We just today actually got the affidavit notarized. He's witnessed a lot of this. [01:54:20.080 --> 01:54:23.440] When you say witness where did he witness it from? [01:54:23.440 --> 01:54:30.560] His property. Okay so he viewed it from a distance. [01:54:33.600 --> 01:54:40.640] Somewhat yes. So that means he was not within earshot of every single thing that was said [01:54:40.640 --> 01:54:45.040] or done on any given encounter that you're going to be talking about right? [01:54:45.040 --> 01:54:56.080] No but I have I have recordings of some of it. Okay but still my point recordings are well [01:54:56.080 --> 01:55:00.560] and good if long as you can get them admitted as evidence to be used against the individual [01:55:01.840 --> 01:55:07.680] which means you need to have them transcribed. You need to be able to identify who's on that [01:55:07.680 --> 01:55:14.080] recording and it needs to be signed by you as a true and correct transcription that is accurate [01:55:14.080 --> 01:55:20.720] and complete in relation to the recording itself and that everything in it is 100% [01:55:20.720 --> 01:55:27.440] true and correct and it has to be certified under seal like a notary for that to be the case. [01:55:28.320 --> 01:55:35.200] Okay I have to notarize the transcript too. That's all you can notarize. You can't [01:55:35.200 --> 01:55:41.680] notarize the recording you made. You can only notarize a transcript of the recording and get [01:55:41.680 --> 01:55:49.200] that signed. Okay I can do that. I didn't know I needed to transcribe those. I mean you better. [01:55:49.200 --> 01:55:56.800] I transcribed them. You better. I transcribed them but I didn't know I needed to notarize them. [01:55:56.800 --> 01:56:00.080] You absolutely need to notarize them. You can't present them in court unless you're [01:56:00.080 --> 01:56:07.200] certified documents unless you're going to get on the witness stand and vouch for what they are [01:56:07.200 --> 01:56:14.880] and the judge allows them. In most states if a document contains a state seal of some state [01:56:14.880 --> 01:56:21.600] office like that of a notary then the document is self-authenticating. Now the facts in it may [01:56:21.600 --> 01:56:31.440] be in dispute but the document itself is admissible. Okay so I need to get the transcriptions also [01:56:31.440 --> 01:56:37.920] notarized and to get them into the record. Yes which means they need to have a signing statement [01:56:37.920 --> 01:56:42.880] on their penalty of perjury etc etc. When you talk to the notary ask them what kind of statement has [01:56:42.880 --> 01:56:49.680] to be on there for them to notarize it under penalty of perjury blah blah blah as a sworn affidavit. [01:56:51.040 --> 01:56:57.440] Good good. Okay I didn't know that so that's good. I'll do that and it's called a jurat. [01:56:57.440 --> 01:57:02.240] Ask them what kind of jurat J-U-R-A-T it needs to contain. [01:57:04.400 --> 01:57:11.440] Okay ask S-T what? Ask the notary what kind of jurat that's what that sworn statement I hear [01:57:11.440 --> 01:57:17.840] by swearing the penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct a copy of a recording [01:57:17.840 --> 01:57:23.280] made by me on blah blah blah blah blah ask them what needs to be in that for them to notarize it [01:57:23.280 --> 01:57:31.920] and it be sufficient. Okay so I can ask the notary that it's a jurat. Yes and if not then you may [01:57:31.920 --> 01:57:36.960] need to go to an attorney and ask them if the notary can't tell you. Okay well I've never heard [01:57:36.960 --> 01:57:44.800] of that so maybe they have but my my underlying question is this person has had we've been going [01:57:44.800 --> 01:57:51.920] like a head like I said we've got 14 years history or more and he's got friends on these on these [01:57:51.920 --> 01:57:57.680] police departments and stuff. Okay details what exactly is your question? Comes you're out of time [01:57:57.680 --> 01:58:06.720] what's the question? My exact question is do I need to where do I need to take these charges to? [01:58:06.720 --> 01:58:12.480] You need to take one to the internal affairs department for who for the county share the [01:58:12.480 --> 01:58:20.400] sheriff's office because that's who the constable answers to is the sheriff. Okay and then you need [01:58:20.400 --> 01:58:25.920] to file one with the county commissioner's court and with your local prosecuting attorney and [01:58:28.160 --> 01:58:37.120] the local police department.
