[01:24.600 --> 01:28.240]  Margaret Moore, the Travis County District Attorney, announced earlier this month that
[01:28.240 --> 01:32.720]  she was dismissing 32 felony possession and delivery of marijuana cases because of the
[01:32.720 --> 01:33.720]  law.
[01:33.720 --> 01:37.400]  Mr. Abbott and other state officials, including the Attorney General, stipulated in a letter
[01:37.400 --> 01:41.880]  to county district attorneys back on Thursday that marijuana has not been decriminalized
[01:41.880 --> 01:48.040]  in Texas and that these actions demonstrate a misunderstanding of how HB 1325 works.
[01:48.040 --> 01:54.360]  As well as other cities, too, like the District Attorney in El Paso, Jaime Esparza, a Democrat,
[01:54.360 --> 01:58.760]  who also stated earlier this month that the law, quote, will not have an effect on the
[01:58.760 --> 02:01.480]  prosecution of marijuana cases in El Paso.
[02:01.480 --> 02:06.520]  However, the issue was succinctly summarized by Mr. Brandon Ball, an assistant public defender
[02:06.520 --> 02:10.560]  in Harris County, who stated that, quote, the law is constantly changing on what makes
[02:10.560 --> 02:13.280]  something illegal based on its chemical makeup.
[02:13.280 --> 02:17.160]  It's important that if someone is charged with something, the test matches what they're
[02:17.160 --> 02:22.400]  charged with.
[02:22.400 --> 02:27.720]  A paper by Tulane University identified a 5.5-inch American pocket shark as the first

[06:35.560 --> 06:41.440]  You report to the Attorney General if the person who is, you expect to have certain
[06:41.440 --> 06:47.400]  records, any kind of government agency at all, if you expect them to have certain records
[06:47.400 --> 06:51.800]  and you reach out to them and say, hey, I'd like to see these records, you're my public
[06:51.800 --> 06:57.240]  servants and I'm interested in seeing such and such, and if they don't get back to you
[06:57.240 --> 07:05.080]  within 10 business days, giving you either what you asked for or telling you that they
[07:05.080 --> 07:10.480]  don't have it or sending you or referring the matter to the Attorney General, well then
[07:10.480 --> 07:15.120]  you can reach out to the Attorney General, it's called official misconduct, and the Attorney
[07:15.120 --> 07:19.200]  General will talk to them about it.
[07:19.200 --> 07:24.000]  Yes, 552.353 if I remember right.

[12:02.880 --> 12:12.840]  These guys scare me, screaming, ranting, raving at these cops.
[12:12.840 --> 12:23.560]  The best one I ever saw, this is a guy from Houston, he goes out there and he's videotaping
[12:23.560 --> 12:30.520]  this gas plant and the cop and him both were excellent.
[12:30.520 --> 12:35.280]  This security guy comes across and he says, can I help you?
[12:35.280 --> 12:40.560]  And the guy says, nothing.

[16:18.640 --> 16:22.700]  At the time, that was not a fight I was there to have.

[16:26.800 --> 16:34.720]  But he wasn't about to back down, so he was actually doing a First Amendment audit.

[21:30.600 --> 21:37.240]  I've got a guy, Danny Murphy, who calls into the show on occasion, he's from Jackson,
[21:37.240 --> 21:45.320]  Tennessee, so I'll get him to run shotgun for me, and I'll go down there in a suit
[21:45.320 --> 21:53.320]  and tie and take videos of the building and get them to come out and confront me, and
[21:53.320 --> 21:57.440]  they'll ask me who I am and I'll tell them, oh, go away, go away.
