[00:00.000 --> 00:09.840] You're listening to the Liberty Beats, your daily source for Liberty News and activist
[00:09.840 --> 00:15.400] updates online at TheLibertyBeats.com.
[00:15.400 --> 00:19.720] John Bush here with your Liberty Beat for April 11th, 2013.
[00:19.720 --> 00:29.320] Gold opened a day at $1579, silver at $27.75 and Bitcoin is trading at $164.98.
[00:29.320 --> 00:33.440] Today's edition of the Liberty Beat is sponsored and part by Tomorrow's Meals Today.com.
[00:33.440 --> 00:39.680] South Boston Market Days every Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. at 10106 Manchak Road and by Silver
[00:39.680 --> 00:44.120] Circle Movies, special screening Thursday, April 18th at Flix Brewhouse in Round Rock,
[00:44.120 --> 00:45.120] Texas.
[00:45.120 --> 00:48.440] Information at SilverCircleMovie.com and now the news.
[00:48.440 --> 00:53.840] After reaching a high of $260 per Bitcoin earlier this week, the price of the online
[00:53.840 --> 00:59.840] alternative currency plummeted this week to $160 of Bitcoin according to ARS Technica.
[00:59.840 --> 01:04.520] The massive overnight loss in value of Bitcoin some experts claim is due to hoarding of coins
[01:04.520 --> 01:09.840] by users who build a large reserve base and then sell them out for a large gain.
[01:09.840 --> 01:14.040] Bitcoin user Bitcoin Billionaire engineered a similar feat in the past two days when the
[01:14.040 --> 01:20.160] user gave away $12,000 to 12 random Bitcoin account holders just days after he received
[01:20.160 --> 01:24.920] $9,000 from an anonymous user with a non-visible IP address.
[01:24.920 --> 01:29.520] While the recent plunge in price has discouraged some potential investors from buying Bitcoin,
[01:29.520 --> 01:33.800] others view the large decrease as a sign that Bitcoin market is stabilizing and become
[01:33.800 --> 01:42.080] even worth more per individual unit.
[01:42.080 --> 01:46.960] According to North Jersey News, four firefighters in Swanee, Georgia have been taken hostage
[01:46.960 --> 01:50.560] after a so-called routine medical call to a private residence.
[01:50.560 --> 01:54.320] Upon arrival, it was discovered a man in the home had barricaded himself inside.
[01:54.320 --> 01:56.440] The hostage firefighters were later released.
[01:56.440 --> 02:05.760] The fate of the man in the standoff and whether he survived the incident is still unknown.
[02:05.760 --> 02:10.240] In London, the G8 Economic Unit of Nations will meet to discuss international financial
[02:10.240 --> 02:15.280] policy, international foreign policy and the coordination of international domestic policies.
[02:15.280 --> 02:20.240] Also being discussed are the troubled relationships with the two countries, Syria and North Korea,
[02:20.240 --> 02:24.480] which are currently at odds with the former world superpower, the United States.
[02:24.480 --> 02:28.280] Efforts by the U.S. military and other covert operations groups to topple regimes in these
[02:28.280 --> 02:31.200] countries have so far been unsuccessful.
[02:31.200 --> 02:35.280] International leaders hope to use this opportunity to mend relationships and reset tensions between
[02:35.280 --> 02:37.600] the United States and North Korea.
[02:37.600 --> 02:41.200] According to the India Times, also up for discussion is further sanctions against the
[02:41.200 --> 02:49.640] nation of Iran and how to give greater humanitarian assistance to the Syrian people and its government.
[02:49.640 --> 02:54.040] Support for the Liberty Beat comes from PureRainUSA.com, chemical and fluoride-free bottled water
[02:54.040 --> 02:58.640] available at Whole Foods and Central Market and by Central Texas Gun Works.
[02:58.640 --> 03:26.740] Thank you!
[03:26.740 --> 03:29.620] Bad boys, bad boys, what you gonna do?
[03:29.620 --> 03:31.860] What you gonna do when they come for you?
[03:31.860 --> 03:35.060] Bad boys, bad boys, what you gonna do?
[03:35.060 --> 03:37.700] What you gonna do when they come for you?
[03:37.700 --> 03:40.420] When you were eight and you had that tree,
[03:40.420 --> 03:43.140] you go to school and earn the gold and lose.
[03:43.140 --> 03:45.940] So why are you acting like a bloody fool?
[03:45.940 --> 03:48.500] It's if you get, ah, ah, ah, thinking you must just clue.
[03:48.500 --> 03:51.300] Bad boys, bad boys, what you gonna do?
[03:51.300 --> 03:53.860] Oh, what you gonna do when they come for you?
[03:53.860 --> 03:57.300] Bad boys, bad boys, what you gonna do?
[03:57.300 --> 03:58.980] All right, bad boys, bad boys,
[03:58.980 --> 04:01.940] what are you going to do when we come for you?
[04:01.940 --> 04:04.180] Bad boys and bad girls, I might add.
[04:04.180 --> 04:06.020] This is the Rule of Law.
[04:06.660 --> 04:11.300] Tonight is Thursday, April 11th, 2013.
[04:11.300 --> 04:13.380] I am one of your hosts, Deborah Stevens,
[04:13.380 --> 04:16.100] here with my co-host, Randy Kelton.
[04:16.740 --> 04:19.860] And tonight, we have a big show lined up for you.
[04:19.860 --> 04:20.980] We have a few guests.
[04:20.980 --> 04:24.660] And our first guest is Dr. Laura Presley,
[04:24.660 --> 04:26.660] a very own here in Austin.
[04:26.660 --> 04:28.660] She has a PhD in chemistry.
[04:28.660 --> 04:33.620] She is the founder of the Pure Rain Bottle Rain Water Company.
[04:34.340 --> 04:35.860] And she is here tonight.
[04:35.860 --> 04:38.100] She is also, she has run for city council.
[04:38.100 --> 04:40.020] She's gonna be running again, I'm sure.
[04:40.020 --> 04:44.500] And tonight, she is here to talk to us about smart meters.
[04:44.500 --> 04:47.300] And apparently earlier this week,
[04:47.300 --> 04:49.540] there was a Senate committee hearing,
[04:49.540 --> 04:52.100] the business and commerce committee hearing,
[04:52.100 --> 04:58.260] on a Senate bill that has to do with a statewide opt-out program
[04:58.260 --> 05:00.260] regarding these smart meters.
[05:00.260 --> 05:03.620] And apparently things went very well at the committee hearing.
[05:03.620 --> 05:07.460] And so Dr. Laura Presley is here to tell us all about it
[05:07.460 --> 05:09.780] and some websites and some petitions.
[05:09.780 --> 05:11.380] So Dr. Presley, thank you.
[05:11.380 --> 05:12.260] Welcome to the show.
[05:12.900 --> 05:15.220] Oh, thank you, Deborah and hey, Randy.
[05:15.220 --> 05:16.820] Thank you, guys, for what you do.
[05:16.820 --> 05:21.060] You are just absolute angels walking among us with your radio show.
[05:21.060 --> 05:22.100] So thank you.
[05:22.100 --> 05:24.100] Oh, well, so are you, Laura.
[05:24.100 --> 05:26.820] I don't know about that.
[05:26.820 --> 05:30.420] There is a head of a certain subcommittee
[05:30.420 --> 05:32.820] that may disagree with you right now.
[05:32.820 --> 05:34.820] Oh, I'm sure.
[05:34.820 --> 05:36.820] I'm absolutely sure of that.
[05:36.820 --> 05:40.820] Well, we had a really great turnout on Tuesday.
[05:40.820 --> 05:42.820] There was a Senate committee.
[05:42.820 --> 05:44.820] It's the business and commerce committee
[05:44.820 --> 05:46.820] of the Texas State Senate.
[05:46.820 --> 05:50.820] And they had a hearing on a specific bill.
[05:50.820 --> 05:52.820] It was Senate bill number 241,
[05:52.820 --> 05:56.820] which has to do with enacting legislation
[05:56.820 --> 06:00.820] that puts into writing and into our state code
[06:00.820 --> 06:04.820] that these utility companies must...
[06:04.820 --> 06:08.820] must send to the citizens of Texas
[06:08.820 --> 06:12.820] notice that they have a smart meter
[06:12.820 --> 06:14.820] and that they can opt out of the smart meter.
[06:14.820 --> 06:16.820] So this is a really important bill.
[06:16.820 --> 06:20.820] I'm sure your listeners, Deborah and Randy,
[06:20.820 --> 06:22.820] are just so up on smart meters,
[06:22.820 --> 06:24.820] but I want to just kind of step back a little bit
[06:24.820 --> 06:26.820] and talk a little bit about the issues
[06:26.820 --> 06:28.820] with the smart meters here in Texas
[06:28.820 --> 06:30.820] and actually all across the state.
[06:30.820 --> 06:32.820] Yes, please do.
[06:32.820 --> 06:36.820] Okay, the bottom line is there's two major issues with these things.
[06:36.820 --> 06:38.820] One is personal privacy concerns,
[06:38.820 --> 06:42.820] where the data that these companies are collecting
[06:42.820 --> 06:44.820] with these smart meters, what these smart meters do,
[06:44.820 --> 06:46.820] they send out a huge pulse of radiation.
[06:46.820 --> 06:50.820] It's radio frequency and microwave wavelength,
[06:50.820 --> 06:52.820] and they send out the data
[06:52.820 --> 06:56.820] of your electric usage all throughout the day.
[06:56.820 --> 06:58.820] And our studies, my research has shown,
[06:58.820 --> 07:00.820] you know, I have a smart meter on my house
[07:00.820 --> 07:02.820] which caused me a lot of health issues.
[07:02.820 --> 07:06.820] So we measured the pulses coming out of our smart meter
[07:06.820 --> 07:10.820] at our home, and it pulsed every 25 seconds.
[07:10.820 --> 07:14.820] And that is just, why does it need to pulse every 25 seconds?
[07:14.820 --> 07:16.820] Why does every 25 seconds, my usage is fine,
[07:16.820 --> 07:19.820] but is it going back to the electric company?
[07:19.820 --> 07:22.820] That is an absolute invasion of privacy.
[07:22.820 --> 07:25.820] So that is the number one big problem with these meters,
[07:25.820 --> 07:28.820] and they're storing the data for up to two years.
[07:28.820 --> 07:30.820] I have a question.
[07:30.820 --> 07:32.820] Yes.
[07:32.820 --> 07:36.820] Where does it draw that power from?
[07:36.820 --> 07:40.820] Your side of the meter or their side of the meter?
[07:40.820 --> 07:42.820] It's their side of the meter.
[07:42.820 --> 07:43.820] We've tested that.
[07:43.820 --> 07:44.820] My husband and I both have tested
[07:44.820 --> 07:47.820] where does this source of this energy come from,
[07:47.820 --> 07:49.820] and it actually is pulling it from the grid,
[07:49.820 --> 07:52.820] which of course we pay for eventually.
[07:52.820 --> 07:55.820] So these things are huge amounts of energy
[07:55.820 --> 07:57.820] that are pulsing every 25 seconds,
[07:57.820 --> 08:01.820] which is 3,000 times a day.
[08:01.820 --> 08:04.820] That's the most absolute and sane thing you could imagine.
[08:04.820 --> 08:08.820] So 3,000 times a day, this device is reporting back to the grid,
[08:08.820 --> 08:11.820] my usage at my home.
[08:11.820 --> 08:13.820] Okay, what are they doing with the data?
[08:13.820 --> 08:15.820] Why do they need this amount of data?
[08:15.820 --> 08:17.820] There's no answers to this stuff.
[08:17.820 --> 08:18.820] Okay, there's no answers.
[08:18.820 --> 08:20.820] The industry is really fighting.
[08:20.820 --> 08:23.820] So that's number one, is the privacy concerns.
[08:23.820 --> 08:27.820] Number two, the health with these meters.
[08:27.820 --> 08:30.820] Again, it's radial frequency at 900 megahertz,
[08:30.820 --> 08:34.820] and then 2.5 gigahertz, which is microwave radiation.
[08:34.820 --> 08:38.820] That is the same wavelength of radiation
[08:38.820 --> 08:42.820] that your microwave oven uses to cook food.
[08:42.820 --> 08:44.820] Does anybody see a problem with that,
[08:44.820 --> 08:48.820] where they're just pulsing microwave radiation randomly?
[08:48.820 --> 08:49.820] Well, not randomly.
[08:49.820 --> 08:53.820] Every 25 seconds, 3,000 times a day into your home,
[08:53.820 --> 08:55.820] imagine people with autoimmune diseases,
[08:55.820 --> 08:59.820] children with autism, people with diabetes,
[08:59.820 --> 09:04.820] people who are prone to migraines, all of these issues.
[09:04.820 --> 09:09.820] These things can have huge impact on sensitive individuals.
[09:09.820 --> 09:12.820] And I'm just going to tell a personal story.
[09:12.820 --> 09:16.820] My husband and I, our smart meter was installed in 2009.
[09:16.820 --> 09:19.820] And a couple of years ago, my husband and I,
[09:19.820 --> 09:21.820] we would kind of joke with each other.
[09:21.820 --> 09:24.820] Our legs were twitching at night when we were sleeping.
[09:24.820 --> 09:26.820] My husband would be awake and I would be sleeping,
[09:26.820 --> 09:30.820] and my leg would kind of kick every 25 seconds.
[09:30.820 --> 09:32.820] And we didn't understand what was going on.
[09:32.820 --> 09:34.820] And then he's an engineer,
[09:34.820 --> 09:37.820] so he would kind of count the periodicity of my kicking.
[09:37.820 --> 09:39.820] And then when he would be awake,
[09:39.820 --> 09:42.820] or when he would be asleep and I would be awake,
[09:42.820 --> 09:44.820] I would be like, oh my gosh, he's doing the same thing.
[09:44.820 --> 09:46.820] We kind of joke with each other.
[09:46.820 --> 09:48.820] We're kicking every 25 seconds.
[09:48.820 --> 09:52.820] But this summer, what happens with these smart meters,
[09:52.820 --> 09:55.820] the radiation, people become more and more sensitive
[09:55.820 --> 09:56.820] as time goes on.
[09:56.820 --> 10:00.820] And I became incredibly sensitized to these pulses.
[10:00.820 --> 10:05.820] This summer, I remember my face twitched every 25 seconds.
[10:05.820 --> 10:08.820] I could feel the vibration in my skin of my face,
[10:08.820 --> 10:11.820] where I couldn't go to sleep, I couldn't take a nap,
[10:11.820 --> 10:13.820] and it just became more and more sensitive.
[10:13.820 --> 10:17.820] And then we were on the search of what's pulsing every 25 seconds.
[10:17.820 --> 10:19.820] And we found it's our meter.
[10:19.820 --> 10:25.820] So these things can really contribute to migraine, headaches,
[10:25.820 --> 10:31.820] gastrointestinal disturbances, chest pains, a lot of issues.
[10:31.820 --> 10:36.820] So this is the second issue with these meters are the health.
[10:36.820 --> 10:43.820] And these two topics came up repeatedly in the session on Tuesday
[10:43.820 --> 10:47.820] with these 45 to 50 people that actually spoke.
[10:47.820 --> 10:52.820] And one thing that is in this Senate bill is that they are going
[10:52.820 --> 10:55.820] to be the industry, the electric industry is going to be required,
[10:55.820 --> 11:01.820] if this thing passes, to notify every single electric utility customer
[11:01.820 --> 11:07.820] that they may decline these meters and that going forward
[11:07.820 --> 11:11.820] for anybody that does not have a smart meter yet,
[11:11.820 --> 11:16.820] that they would have to be informed ahead of time before the installation
[11:16.820 --> 11:19.820] and be aware that they could opt out.
[11:19.820 --> 11:21.820] So this is kind of an opt out bill.
[11:21.820 --> 11:26.820] There was a lot of disagreement in the people that spoke
[11:26.820 --> 11:28.820] that why do we have to opt out?
[11:28.820 --> 11:30.820] We think we should have to opt in.
[11:30.820 --> 11:33.820] So give people, you know, if you want these things,
[11:33.820 --> 11:39.820] you have to physically, you know, sign something or agree to these meters.
[11:39.820 --> 11:46.820] The problem, the only other issue that came up with this bill
[11:46.820 --> 11:51.820] was that this bill will allow them to charge people for coming in
[11:51.820 --> 11:55.820] and opting out and then having their meter read physically
[11:55.820 --> 11:58.820] by somebody coming out reading the meter.
[11:58.820 --> 12:01.820] And there was a lot of discussion, a lot of debate
[12:01.820 --> 12:04.820] about now that the industry has gone to these smart meters,
[12:04.820 --> 12:06.820] they've gotten rid of their meter readers,
[12:06.820 --> 12:10.820] and now why do we have to pay for a bad business decision
[12:10.820 --> 12:13.820] for this industry to go back to what they had before?
[12:13.820 --> 12:15.820] A lot of contention about that.
[12:15.820 --> 12:17.820] A lot of people spoke out and said,
[12:17.820 --> 12:19.820] no, we do not want to have to pay for this.
[12:19.820 --> 12:22.820] The bill certainly didn't go down when we got this stuff.
[12:22.820 --> 12:25.820] So why are you going to now charge me in addition?
[12:25.820 --> 12:29.820] So what I had before, when people can just sign little cards and mail them in
[12:29.820 --> 12:32.820] or maybe enter a number into a computer, you know, a login,
[12:32.820 --> 12:36.820] and, you know, we as customers can enter our own numbers.
[12:36.820 --> 12:39.820] So anyway, that's kind of what happened.
[12:39.820 --> 12:44.820] But I'd like to kind of share with you the industry guys were there.
[12:44.820 --> 12:49.820] There was a VP from Encore Energy, which is a company that services Houston,
[12:49.820 --> 12:52.820] and then also another VP from Reliant Energy.
[12:52.820 --> 12:56.820] And what I noticed, they would never, these industry guys
[12:56.820 --> 12:59.820] would never acknowledge the health issues.
[12:59.820 --> 13:03.820] What they did acknowledge, and they said this over and over,
[13:03.820 --> 13:09.820] we support opting out because of potential privacy concerns that people have.
[13:09.820 --> 13:12.820] And that was their safe out.
[13:12.820 --> 13:14.820] They never would acknowledge the health issues,
[13:14.820 --> 13:16.820] even though they're very real.
[13:16.820 --> 13:19.820] There are studies that have come out one after another,
[13:19.820 --> 13:22.820] peer-reviewed health studies that have come out.
[13:22.820 --> 13:30.820] And I actually brought many of those documents to the Senate hearing when I testified.
[13:30.820 --> 13:34.820] And this is a Kirk Watson story, which is really funny.
[13:34.820 --> 13:38.820] He was not on the diet when we were talking.
[13:38.820 --> 13:42.820] Most of the day, he was apparently just, we don't know where he was.
[13:42.820 --> 13:45.820] So when I got up to speak, and I had all these health documents
[13:45.820 --> 13:51.820] and these peer-reviewed references, and I had told the chair,
[13:51.820 --> 13:55.820] I said, you know, you can have, these are mine, but I will give them to you.
[13:55.820 --> 14:00.820] I can get more, and maybe you can educate Senator Watson on the health issues.
[14:00.820 --> 14:05.820] He apparently was standing in the back room behind the diet.
[14:05.820 --> 14:09.820] He came running out and said, oh, I'm in the back, back here.
[14:09.820 --> 14:12.820] And I'm hearing what you're saying, Laura.
[14:12.820 --> 14:14.820] And I said, well, I'm sure you were.
[14:14.820 --> 14:16.820] I said, you need to be out here in front with the rest of us
[14:16.820 --> 14:18.820] so we can see your facial expressions on this.
[14:18.820 --> 14:21.820] And you need to be educated on the health issues of the smart leaders.
[14:21.820 --> 14:26.820] And it was like, he just had gotten, you know, called on the carpet.
[14:26.820 --> 14:28.820] So it was a very interesting meeting.
[14:28.820 --> 14:30.820] There were a ton of people there.
[14:30.820 --> 14:34.820] Industry people are also supporting this bill, but they want to charge us,
[14:34.820 --> 14:38.820] where the customers, of course, do not want to be charged.
[14:38.820 --> 14:41.820] So that's kind of the synopsis.
[14:41.820 --> 14:44.820] Well, yeah, that's quite amazing.
[14:44.820 --> 14:49.820] And of course, they're not going to want to admit to any of the health issues
[14:49.820 --> 14:56.820] because they think that they're going to be opening themselves up to litigation
[14:56.820 --> 15:00.820] and vulnerability in the court systems if they do.
[15:00.820 --> 15:04.820] But what they don't realize is they're vulnerable to litigation anyway
[15:04.820 --> 15:07.820] because all the evidence is there.
[15:07.820 --> 15:10.820] So it doesn't really matter whether they admit it or not.
[15:10.820 --> 15:15.820] I mean, the evidence is there. It is very damaging to people's health,
[15:15.820 --> 15:20.820] even if they're not elderly or susceptible or sensitive or young
[15:20.820 --> 15:22.820] or any of these other things.
[15:22.820 --> 15:23.820] It's just dangerous.
[15:23.820 --> 15:25.820] And that's just all there is to it.
[15:25.820 --> 15:29.820] And it is a privacy issue, and it's more than just a privacy issue.
[15:29.820 --> 15:34.820] I think the reason that they want to transmit this data so often
[15:34.820 --> 15:41.820] is they want to track people's continual usage so that they can charge higher rates
[15:41.820 --> 15:43.820] during peak times.
[15:43.820 --> 15:45.820] That's what, it all comes down to money.
[15:45.820 --> 15:47.820] That's what it's all about.
[15:47.820 --> 15:52.820] I agree. I think you hit the nail on the head. You did.
[15:52.820 --> 15:58.820] What kind of, you said your husband was an engineer?
[15:58.820 --> 16:00.820] Yes.
[16:00.820 --> 16:03.820] Is he familiar with Faraday's screen?
[16:03.820 --> 16:05.820] Yes, we are.
[16:05.820 --> 16:07.820] Absolutely.
[16:07.820 --> 16:11.820] And we've done that with a meter at our house.
[16:11.820 --> 16:17.820] We have covered it with multiple sheets of aluminum foil, very heavy duty.
[16:17.820 --> 16:19.820] We've grounded it.
[16:19.820 --> 16:25.820] And so, you know, that is what we did at our house to reduce the radiation.
[16:25.820 --> 16:30.820] But I want to be real clear, and this is something that I've learned recently
[16:30.820 --> 16:32.820] in the last couple of months.
[16:32.820 --> 16:35.820] I hear the music, so we can talk in the next segment.
[16:35.820 --> 16:38.820] Yes, yes, we're going to hold you over for at least one more segment.
[16:38.820 --> 16:43.820] This is Dr. Laura Presley, Austin's very own, very good friend of ours.
[16:43.820 --> 16:46.820] We're talking about smart meters and this opt-out bill.
[16:46.820 --> 16:52.820] And folks, if you'd like to call in 512-646-1984, if you're on topic,
[16:52.820 --> 17:03.820] we'll be right back on the other side. This is The Rule of Law.
[17:22.820 --> 17:24.820] Tangerine.
[17:24.820 --> 17:28.820] And we're all breaking Tangerine.
[17:28.820 --> 17:30.820] Tangerine.
[17:30.820 --> 17:32.820] Tangerine.
[17:32.820 --> 17:34.820] Tangerine.
[17:34.820 --> 17:37.820] We're all breaking Tangerine.
[17:37.820 --> 17:39.820] Tangerine.
[17:39.820 --> 17:41.820] Tangerine.

[19:01.820 --> 19:11.820] You're listening to the Logos Radio Network. LogosRadioNetwork.com
[19:32.820 --> 19:36.820] You're listening to the Logos Radio Network.
[19:36.820 --> 20:05.820] Logos Radio Network
[20:06.820 --> 20:27.820] Logos Radio Network
[20:27.820 --> 20:29.820] Okay, we are back.
[20:29.820 --> 20:31.820] We're here with Dr. Laura Presley.
[20:31.820 --> 20:34.820] We're talking about the smart meters and this committee hearing.
[20:34.820 --> 20:39.820] Laura, when we were just about to go to break before the break,
[20:39.820 --> 20:43.820] Randy mentioned something about Faraday screens and you were going to respond to that.
[20:43.820 --> 20:52.820] Before you respond, I want to respond that while this may be a stopgap measure,
[20:52.820 --> 20:58.820] so to speak, to basically keep yourself from frying in your own home,
[20:58.820 --> 21:01.820] by no means is this a solution
[21:01.820 --> 21:07.820] because we shouldn't have to spend money and go through all kinds of rigmarole
[21:07.820 --> 21:14.820] to redesign our homes and remodel and whatever else that we have to do
[21:14.820 --> 21:19.820] to try to stop these meters from frying us in our own homes.
[21:19.820 --> 21:22.820] Okay, the government needs to just not be doing it.
[21:22.820 --> 21:25.820] We need to stop them from doing it, period.
[21:25.820 --> 21:32.820] And so at any rate, Dr. Presley, you are going to respond to some of these measures that you've had to take in your own home
[21:32.820 --> 21:34.820] to protect your health.
[21:34.820 --> 21:35.820] Please go ahead.
[21:35.820 --> 21:36.820] Absolutely.
[21:36.820 --> 21:43.820] And, you know, what's interesting is the Faraday pages, they present the radiation from coming in.
[21:43.820 --> 21:50.820] Okay, there's two mechanisms that these smart meters cause or that they...
[21:50.820 --> 21:55.820] Yeah, two mechanisms that they work to degrade your health, and I'm going to go through both of them.
[21:55.820 --> 22:08.820] So one is the radiation, the actual radial frequency and microwave radiation that's hitting you from these meters.
[22:08.820 --> 22:16.820] They go through your walls, through your concrete, through your stucco,
[22:16.820 --> 22:19.820] and it gets to your body and it causes a lot of problems.
[22:19.820 --> 22:24.820] That's number one, and that's what a Faraday cage can protect from, all right?
[22:24.820 --> 22:31.820] But there's a second mechanism that a Faraday cage cannot fix, and that is these pulses,
[22:31.820 --> 22:39.820] this electromagnetic pulse of radial frequency and microwave radiation also affects the wiring in your home.
[22:39.820 --> 22:48.820] It causes a lot of voltage transient to go on in your electric lines, and those cause health issues also.
[22:48.820 --> 22:53.820] And a Faraday cage cannot prevent that because you need electricity in your home.
[22:53.820 --> 22:58.820] So what happens is these things are called, you know, this huge burst of electromagnetic radiation
[22:58.820 --> 23:06.820] that distorts the voltage in the current coming into your home from the electric power line,
[23:06.820 --> 23:08.820] and that causes a lot of issues.
[23:08.820 --> 23:10.820] And there's a book called Dirty.
[23:10.820 --> 23:11.820] Go ahead.
[23:11.820 --> 23:24.820] That's interesting because there was some experimentation a while back with using the 60-cycle frequency from the power lines
[23:24.820 --> 23:30.820] as a superheterodine frequency so they could beat a higher frequency over the top of it.
[23:30.820 --> 23:36.820] And that's precisely what this will do, and it'll cause all of the wiring in the building to become a transmitter.
[23:36.820 --> 23:38.820] You got it, Randy.
[23:38.820 --> 23:41.820] That's exactly, so there's two mechanisms.
[23:41.820 --> 23:43.820] There's the radiation that's come by within.
[23:43.820 --> 23:48.820] It's causing this noise in the voltage and the current that's flowing through your home,
[23:48.820 --> 23:55.820] and there's no way to get rid of that except there's a book right now that a new addition's coming out.
[23:55.820 --> 23:58.820] It's called Dirty Electricity by Dr. Millham.
[23:58.820 --> 24:00.820] And you can get this on the power hour.
[24:00.820 --> 24:06.820] I'm trying to get Bray's new books to order it, and I think, Carl, I'm going to talk to him on Saturday to start ordering this book.
[24:06.820 --> 24:12.820] But it talks about filters, capacitive filters that you can put on your home, on your outlets in your house,
[24:12.820 --> 24:17.820] that takes care of the secondary mechanism that's causing the health issues.
[24:17.820 --> 24:26.820] And there's tons of documented research on the effects of this noisy transient that's on top of that 60 hertz alternating current
[24:26.820 --> 24:28.820] that comes into our home.
[24:28.820 --> 24:33.820] And they're called Gram-Dexler capacitive filters.
[24:33.820 --> 24:36.820] The power hour carries these things.
[24:36.820 --> 24:41.820] If you have a smart meter on your home, you need to be getting these filters.
[24:41.820 --> 24:47.820] We put them in at our house, and I tell you, but it made a huge difference for these smart meters.
[24:47.820 --> 24:55.820] You can cover it with the aluminum foil, but that does no good to the voltage transients that are coming in and causing a lot of health issues.
[24:55.820 --> 25:04.820] So another thing, Deborah, you'd asked about, you know, comparing these smart meters, the power that these things are putting out,
[25:04.820 --> 25:10.820] the radiation levels that these things are putting out, compared to cell phones, compared to wireless phones, compared to routers,
[25:10.820 --> 25:12.820] and compared to cell towers.
[25:12.820 --> 25:18.820] And I want to tell you, I have measured, taken a meter and measured the power that's coming out of these guys.
[25:18.820 --> 25:27.820] And let me just kind of give you a background. Cell towers, there's about a quarter mile blast zone that cell towers have.
[25:27.820 --> 25:31.820] And the power decreases as you go away from the cell tower.
[25:31.820 --> 25:42.820] And about a quarter mile out, it goes back down to baseline levels that are in the, you know, just kind of background levels that we all, you know, are exposed to.
[25:42.820 --> 25:47.820] But within quarter mile, and as you get closer to the cell towers, it gets more and more intense.
[25:47.820 --> 25:56.820] And you have to be within about, I don't say, 100 feet of the cell tower to get the same amount of radiation that your smart meters are putting out.
[25:56.820 --> 26:03.820] The smart meters are putting out, and I'm going to give you a number, 30 to 50,000 microwatts per meter squared.
[26:03.820 --> 26:05.820] And I'm going to say that's huge.
[26:05.820 --> 26:11.820] Your router is putting out about 1,500 microwatts.
[26:11.820 --> 26:19.820] The smart meters are pulsing 3,000 times a day at 30,000 to 50,000 microwatts.
[26:19.820 --> 26:22.820] Okay? It's huge, absolutely huge.
[26:22.820 --> 26:28.820] Your cell phones are putting out about maybe 1,500 microwatts.
[26:28.820 --> 26:43.820] So in the distribution of what we're exposed to, these smart meters are one of the most intense radiation sources that our bodies receive.
[26:43.820 --> 26:45.820] And we're there all day long in our homes.
[26:45.820 --> 26:49.820] We're there all night trying to sleep, and it's beaming us.
[26:49.820 --> 26:51.820] So this is a big, big issue.
[26:51.820 --> 26:58.820] It's absolutely outrageous, and we were talking about Curtis Bennett on the break.
[26:58.820 --> 27:00.820] He is an electrical engineer.
[27:00.820 --> 27:10.820] He's got 30 years of experience, and his website is thermoguy.com slash blog.
[27:10.820 --> 27:16.820] And he has been on the Axiom for Liberty show, which is on this network on Friday nights at 6 p.m.
[27:16.820 --> 27:24.820] And folks can go to the website, logosradionetwork.com, and go to the archive page, go to the Axiom for Liberty.
[27:24.820 --> 27:29.820] And he was on March 1st, very informative show.
[27:29.820 --> 27:38.820] And what he is jumping up and down about screaming bloody murder over is not just the smart meters themselves on the people's homes,
[27:38.820 --> 27:47.820] but he is talking about the towers and the routers of these smart meters, the whole smart meter system.
[27:47.820 --> 27:54.820] And he says, even if you take it off your house, even if you get it, even if you can opt out of it off your home,
[27:54.820 --> 28:04.820] we are still being absolutely fried and bombarded with radiation from the towers and from the routers themselves.
[28:04.820 --> 28:09.820] And so we've just got to put a stop to it all together.
[28:09.820 --> 28:15.820] I mean, getting it off our homes is a first step, but we have got to stop the technology altogether,
[28:15.820 --> 28:28.820] because what he was talking about is that not only are there severe negative health effects from the routers and all the extreme radiation coming off of these towers,
[28:28.820 --> 28:34.820] but also it's causing damage to the infrastructure of the buildings around them,
[28:34.820 --> 28:41.820] because somehow it causes the molecules to vibrate at the super high rate of vibration,
[28:41.820 --> 28:52.820] and eventually it causes structural damage to the foundation and to the framing of the building that literally could lead to a collapse of the building.
[28:52.820 --> 29:06.820] And so it's also causing damage to the wiring of the building because of these outrageous distortion of the voltages like what you were talking about.
[29:06.820 --> 29:10.820] And so we've got to do away with the entire technology altogether, period.
[29:10.820 --> 29:18.820] And so this is a very interesting conversation on that show, so I would encourage folks to go back and listen to it.
[29:18.820 --> 29:25.820] But yeah, we've got to do away with it all together, but first things first, we've got to at least get opted out from our own homes
[29:25.820 --> 29:31.820] so that these little transmitters aren't actually on our buildings.
[29:31.820 --> 29:34.820] But Laura, can you stay with us one more segment?
[29:34.820 --> 29:35.820] Absolutely.
[29:35.820 --> 29:36.820] Okay, great folks.
[29:36.820 --> 29:37.820] We'll be right back.
[29:37.820 --> 29:43.820] This is the Rule of Law on the Logos Radio Network.
[29:43.820 --> 29:45.820] This is LogosRadioNetwork.com.
[29:45.820 --> 29:50.820] I am Deborah Stevens. I'm here with Randy Kelton, and we will be right back.
[30:15.820 --> 30:23.820] Your search engine is watching you recording all your searches and creating a massive database of your personal information.
[30:23.820 --> 30:24.820] That's creepy.
[30:24.820 --> 30:46.820] But it doesn't have to be that way.
[30:46.820 --> 30:58.820] Copy machine is broken, or is it? Perhaps it just doesn't approve of what you want to copy.
[30:58.820 --> 31:02.820] Press all the buttons you like if those machines spy forbidden words. They won't print.
[31:02.820 --> 31:09.820] Canon's new printer lineup also tattles. Their machines can secretly record documents and email them to their masters.
[31:09.820 --> 31:16.820] When linked with user IDs, detailed digital dossiers could catalog everything you print. These systems are geared for office use,
[31:16.820 --> 31:24.820] but if we don't say, I'll know now, they could easily find their way into libraries, local copy shops, and even our own homes.
[31:24.820 --> 31:30.820] I'm Dr. Catherine Albrecht. More news and information at CatherineAlbrecht.com.
[31:30.820 --> 31:36.820] This is Building 7, a 47-story skyscraper that fell on the afternoon of September 11.
[31:36.820 --> 31:38.820] The government says that fire brought it down.
[31:38.820 --> 31:43.820] However, 1,500 architects and engineers have concluded it was a controlled demolition.
[31:43.820 --> 31:46.820] Over 6,000 of my fellow service members have given their lives.
[31:46.820 --> 31:49.820] And thousands of my fellow force responders are blind.
[31:49.820 --> 31:50.820] I'm not a conspiracy theorist.
[31:50.820 --> 31:51.820] I'm a structural engineer.
[31:51.820 --> 31:52.820] I'm a New York City correction officer.
[31:52.820 --> 31:53.820] I'm an Air Force pilot.
[31:53.820 --> 31:55.820] I'm a father who lost his son.
[31:55.820 --> 31:58.820] We are Americans, and we deserve the truth.
[31:58.820 --> 32:01.820] Go to RememberBuilding7.org today.
[32:01.820 --> 32:10.820] It is so enlightening to listen to 90.1 FM, but finding things on the Internet isn't so easy, and neither is finding like-minded people to share it with.
[32:10.820 --> 32:13.820] Oh, well, I guess you haven't heard of Brave New Books, then.
[32:13.820 --> 32:14.820] Brave New Books?
[32:14.820 --> 32:21.820] Yes. Brave New Books has all the books and DVDs you're looking for by authors like Alex Jones, Ron Paul, and G. Edward Griffin.
[32:21.820 --> 32:25.820] They even stock inner food, Berkey products, and Calvin Soaps.
[32:25.820 --> 32:27.820] There's no way a place like that exists.
[32:27.820 --> 32:33.820] Go check it out for yourself. It's downtown at 1904 Guadalupe Street, just south of UT.
[32:33.820 --> 32:37.820] Oh, by UT? There's never anywhere to park down there.
[32:37.820 --> 32:44.820] Actually, they now offer a free hour of parking for paying customers at the 500 MLK parking facility just behind the bookstore.
[32:44.820 --> 32:48.820] It does exist, but when are they open?
[32:48.820 --> 32:57.820] Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and 1 to 6 p.m. on Sundays, so give them a call at 512-480-2503,
[32:57.820 --> 33:00.820] or check out their events page at bravenewbookstore.com.
[33:02.820 --> 33:07.820] Live, free speech radio, logosradionetwork.com.
[33:07.820 --> 33:12.820] Live, free speech radio, logosradionetwork.com
[33:37.820 --> 33:46.820] As we were going to break, I was just mentioning about the issue of the routers and the towers, the collectors.
[33:46.820 --> 33:52.820] This energy from the smart meters on our homes is going somewhere.
[33:52.820 --> 34:04.820] It's sending and receiving, and we have to be concerned about the collectors of these transmissions and where they are getting their information from as well.
[34:04.820 --> 34:14.820] And that's very, very serious as far as the health risks and as far as damaging the structural integrity of buildings.
[34:14.820 --> 34:23.820] And so, again, folks, go to the Archives of Action for Liberty, and that's on the logosradionetwork.com website.
[34:23.820 --> 34:28.820] March the 1st is the date that that archive ran.
[34:28.820 --> 34:32.820] So, all right, Laura, if you would please, let's talk a little bit more about this bill.
[34:32.820 --> 34:35.820] You said there are some house bills coming up.
[34:35.820 --> 34:38.820] I guess those are the sister bills, and they haven't been heard in committee yet.
[34:38.820 --> 34:40.820] Tell us about that.
[34:40.820 --> 34:41.820] Okay.
[34:41.820 --> 34:47.820] One is by Representative Simpson, who was the guy that brought the TSA bill last session.
[34:47.820 --> 34:50.820] We love Representative Simpson.
[34:50.820 --> 34:58.820] He has got a really, just go to the main point bill for these smart meters.
[34:58.820 --> 35:06.820] He puts in his bill that we can sue for property damages associated with the use of these meters.
[35:06.820 --> 35:15.820] He has provisions that the electric utility is civilly liable to a customer for personal injury,
[35:15.820 --> 35:22.820] property damage, which is what we were discussing, or death arising out of the use of these meters.
[35:22.820 --> 35:29.820] He has put it down in writing that these companies can be sued for the damage, personal industry,
[35:29.820 --> 35:35.820] and property damage, which I think is very, very positive.
[35:35.820 --> 35:40.820] And it's going to make them think twice about the rollout and continued use of this stuff,
[35:40.820 --> 35:43.820] because now they're going to be liable.
[35:43.820 --> 35:50.820] And he is also causing, he wants to define property damage to include invasion of personal privacy,
[35:50.820 --> 35:56.820] and eating economic damages caused by the loss or misuse or theft of that data.
[35:56.820 --> 35:59.820] So this is a very powerful bill.
[35:59.820 --> 36:01.820] I know it's amazing.
[36:01.820 --> 36:03.820] It's House Bill 1171.
[36:03.820 --> 36:08.820] It has gone to the State Affairs Committee, which has not had a hearing yet.
[36:08.820 --> 36:10.820] So we'll keep you guys posted on that.
[36:10.820 --> 36:15.820] The second bill is by Representative Bonin of Brozoria.
[36:15.820 --> 36:17.820] It's House Bill 3590.
[36:17.820 --> 36:22.820] It kind of is, like you said, a sister bill to the Senate bill that says you have to give notice to people
[36:22.820 --> 36:24.820] that you're going to install the meter.
[36:24.820 --> 36:29.820] They have the right to decline, and they have the right to remove it if it's there.
[36:29.820 --> 36:35.820] It's kind of the House Bill that's the sister bill of the Senate, of the Senate bill we just talked about.
[36:35.820 --> 36:37.820] So those are two that are on deck.
[36:37.820 --> 36:40.820] Again, neither one has come up for a hearing yet.
[36:40.820 --> 36:42.820] We'll keep you guys posted on that.
[36:42.820 --> 36:50.820] I have to say, with all the people that were testifying yesterday for the Senate bill,
[36:50.820 --> 36:55.820] the Chair of the Business and Commerce Committee is Senator Corona,
[36:55.820 --> 36:58.820] and he is the author of this popped out bill.
[36:58.820 --> 37:05.820] And watching his body language and the responses that he had to the individuals coming up,
[37:05.820 --> 37:08.820] families coming up and talking about their health issues,
[37:08.820 --> 37:12.820] how they had to move out of their bedroom into the living room,
[37:12.820 --> 37:17.820] because they wanted to get as far away from the meters as possible because they were having health issues
[37:17.820 --> 37:25.820] and their children were, he was very compassionate as he listened to these stories one after the other.
[37:25.820 --> 37:33.820] And then he would pull up the, he made the VIP from Encore sit at the table with these victims,
[37:33.820 --> 37:36.820] you could say, of these health issues.
[37:36.820 --> 37:39.820] And he would say, how would you respond to them?
[37:39.820 --> 37:41.820] What are you going to do for them?
[37:41.820 --> 37:50.820] And I was amazed at his, how he was holding them with the utility company accountable for these health issues.
[37:50.820 --> 37:53.820] And of course the utility company, there's no health issues.
[37:53.820 --> 38:01.820] There's nothing that's been, you know, defined as being, you know, a definite issue of health.
[38:01.820 --> 38:08.820] And when I got up there and I told my 25-second story, my leg was twitching every 25 seconds.
[38:08.820 --> 38:10.820] And you can't deny that.
[38:10.820 --> 38:17.820] That's a root cause of a finding of something in your home that's pulsing every 25 seconds.
[38:17.820 --> 38:21.820] That's not a biological process that's around us in the natural environment.
[38:21.820 --> 38:24.820] That is a man-made issue.
[38:24.820 --> 38:29.820] And so, you know, we didn't have a clue what these things were doing.
[38:29.820 --> 38:33.820] We just knew we were twitching every 25 seconds when we were sleeping.
[38:33.820 --> 38:35.820] And then we found the root cause, which was the meter.
[38:35.820 --> 38:38.820] Nothing else around us was pulsing like that.
[38:38.820 --> 38:46.820] And so I asked this VIP from Encore, I said, why are you pulsing every 25 seconds?
[38:46.820 --> 38:49.820] Why do you have to do this 3,000 times a day?
[38:49.820 --> 38:50.820] He had no answer.
[38:50.820 --> 38:56.820] And then I also asked him, why do you have to use such a high power for these things?
[38:56.820 --> 38:59.820] And he goes, well, I don't know what the power is.
[38:59.820 --> 39:04.820] And I looked at him and I said, you should know because you're making us deal with this.
[39:04.820 --> 39:06.820] And then that was the end of my testimony.
[39:06.820 --> 39:08.820] But overall, it was well received.
[39:08.820 --> 39:14.820] I think we're going to get a bill passed that will have some sort of opt-out program,
[39:14.820 --> 39:17.820] which like you said, Deborah, it's the foot in the door.
[39:17.820 --> 39:23.820] It's the first acknowledgement that, you know, we are going to say no and then we go from there.
[39:23.820 --> 39:29.820] And last year, Pacific Gas and Electric in California banned these smart leaders.
[39:29.820 --> 39:33.820] So Texas is just a little behind the times here.
[39:33.820 --> 39:36.820] California was first to ban these things.
[39:36.820 --> 39:38.820] And so the writing's on the wall.
[39:38.820 --> 39:40.820] This stuff is on its way out.
[39:40.820 --> 39:46.820] And I think the people had to stand up and be harmed and say no.
[39:46.820 --> 39:48.820] And I said we had to do that.
[39:48.820 --> 39:55.820] So tell us, Laura, how did the rest of the committee receive all the testimonies?
[39:55.820 --> 40:02.820] And especially concerning all your peer-reviewed papers and research, how was that received?
[40:02.820 --> 40:09.820] Did they just roll their eyes or did they seem to be accepting of the information?
[40:09.820 --> 40:11.820] What was the feedback?
[40:11.820 --> 40:14.820] That's a great question.
[40:14.820 --> 40:20.820] Before I got up and testified, a couple people had mentioned some studies, but they didn't have them in their hands.
[40:20.820 --> 40:29.820] And so when I got up there and testified, I had a full report of a study that's called the Bioinitiative Report,
[40:29.820 --> 40:31.820] which is very powerful.
[40:31.820 --> 40:41.820] It came out in 2012 and it's done a review of every single peer-reviewed study on radiofrequency and microwave radiation
[40:41.820 --> 40:46.820] coming from Wi-Fi, coming from cell phones, coming from cell towers and smart meters,
[40:46.820 --> 40:50.820] back probably for since 1996.
[40:50.820 --> 40:56.820] So 96 to 2012, they have done a full study and published this report, which is phenomenal.
[40:56.820 --> 40:57.820] I had that with me.
[40:57.820 --> 40:58.820] It's a big stack of papers.
[40:58.820 --> 41:04.820] So I had that and I had the book, Dirty Elections, that I gave to the chairman
[41:04.820 --> 41:08.820] because no one else had actually provided those documents.
[41:08.820 --> 41:13.820] So the industry guys were getting up saying, there's no studies that confirm the health issues.
[41:13.820 --> 41:19.820] And I'm just sitting there about the fume and about the explode, just waiting to get up there so I could hand them this.
[41:19.820 --> 41:21.820] And so it was very well received.
[41:21.820 --> 41:26.820] He was looking, the chairman was really looking for real data.
[41:26.820 --> 41:33.820] And when Dave walked with him and the other committee members that were on there, they asked me,
[41:33.820 --> 41:38.820] so you have a PhD and I said, yes, in chemistry, so that gave some credibility to the stuff too.
[41:38.820 --> 41:41.820] So that was very well received.
[41:41.820 --> 41:48.820] The thing with Senator Watson, who is, you know, Austin's, you know, state senator representative here,
[41:48.820 --> 41:53.820] he had made a comment earlier that there were no health issues that have been identified with these things.
[41:53.820 --> 41:59.820] And that's when I said, you need to share this with Senator Watson so he can be educated.
[41:59.820 --> 42:04.820] And that really got his go and he would be open minded.
[42:04.820 --> 42:07.820] Look at the real data because I'll tell you one thing about Senator Watson.
[42:07.820 --> 42:12.820] He was the main, main driver for this health care district tax increase that happened.
[42:12.820 --> 42:16.820] They got passed in November that so many of us fought.
[42:16.820 --> 42:19.820] You know, you have to really step back and say, you know, Senator Watson,
[42:19.820 --> 42:22.820] if you're so concerned about health issues and the health of our community,
[42:22.820 --> 42:27.820] you need to be educated on the health issues that these meters cause.
[42:27.820 --> 42:29.820] Yeah, really?
[42:29.820 --> 42:31.820] He needs to be educated on it.
[42:31.820 --> 42:35.820] And I think that was real clear just for, you know, on Tuesday with regard to him.
[42:35.820 --> 42:41.820] And so he, the data has been provided and they now are also with it.
[42:41.820 --> 42:44.820] And really Senator Corona, who is the author of this bill,
[42:44.820 --> 42:48.820] who's the chairman of that business and commerce committee, he was looking for it and we gave it to him.
[42:48.820 --> 42:50.820] Well, good. Excellent. Good job.
[42:50.820 --> 42:54.820] All right, we've just got about one more minute left in this segment, Laura.
[42:54.820 --> 42:57.820] And then we need to close out so we can bring on our next guest.
[42:57.820 --> 43:03.820] Would you please give out some websites for folks to go to sign petitions and to learn more about this?
[43:03.820 --> 43:09.820] Yes. So the big website is VanTexasSmartMeters.com.
[43:09.820 --> 43:13.820] And there's a petition link on there.
[43:13.820 --> 43:15.820] Double to that page.
[43:15.820 --> 43:21.820] And there are three different petitions that are online right now that will automatically send information,
[43:21.820 --> 43:24.820] your signing of your petition to your representative.
[43:24.820 --> 43:28.820] And this is the most important website out of all of them that are out there.
[43:28.820 --> 43:31.820] VanTexasSmartMeters.com.
[43:31.820 --> 43:34.820] And sign it again. Have your voice heard.
[43:34.820 --> 43:37.820] All right. Excellent. You heard it right here.
[43:37.820 --> 43:39.820] VanTexasSmartMeters.com.
[43:39.820 --> 43:41.820] That's where you go to sign the petition.
[43:41.820 --> 43:44.820] And folks, please do it.
[43:44.820 --> 43:50.820] We've got to educate folks about this and we've got to ban these smart meters all together, the entire systems.
[43:50.820 --> 43:53.820] So, Laura, thank you for joining us tonight.
[43:53.820 --> 43:55.820] You're wonderful. Thank you, guys, for what you do.
[43:55.820 --> 43:56.820] All right.
[44:01.820 --> 44:08.820] Mr. President, members of Congress, you've been making a lot of noise about taking our guns away.
[44:08.820 --> 44:10.820] But you might want to review history.
[44:10.820 --> 44:15.820] 1835, Gonzalez, Texas Territory.
[44:15.820 --> 44:20.820] The authorities wanted to confiscate the big gun that protected that colony.
[44:20.820 --> 44:22.820] You know what the people said?
[44:22.820 --> 44:24.820] Come and take it.
[44:24.820 --> 44:29.820] Because they were willing to fight for their freedom and their guns.
[44:29.820 --> 44:55.820] So are we.
[44:55.820 --> 45:01.820] One shot at a time. Just like Gonzalez, we're keeping our guns.
[45:26.820 --> 45:28.820] And now you can too.
[45:28.820 --> 45:34.820] Jurisdictionary was created by a licensed attorney with 22 years of case winning experience.
[45:34.820 --> 45:43.820] Even if you're not in a lawsuit, you can learn what everyone should understand about the principles and practices that control our American courts.
[45:43.820 --> 45:52.820] You'll receive our audio classroom, video seminar, tutorials, forms for civil cases, pro se tactics, and much more.

[46:23.820 --> 46:26.820] Would your purpose has been done?
[46:26.820 --> 46:30.820] Would you stand among the soldiers or worry your heart's lost?
[46:30.820 --> 46:32.820] Got the land that keeps it easy.
[46:32.820 --> 46:35.820] All they're thinking is a misunderstanding.
[46:35.820 --> 46:38.820] Somebody calls the police.
[46:38.820 --> 46:40.820] Watch in the spotlight.
[46:43.820 --> 46:45.820] Watch in the spotlight.
[46:45.820 --> 46:48.820] Watch in the spotlight.
[46:48.820 --> 46:51.820] Watch in the spotlight.
[46:51.820 --> 46:54.820] Watch in the spotlight.
[46:54.820 --> 46:57.820] Watch in the spotlight.
[46:57.820 --> 47:00.820] Watch in the spotlight.
[47:00.820 --> 47:05.820] All right, watching the sparks fly literally.
[47:05.820 --> 47:12.820] And yeah, when it comes to the noise on the electrical lines, that's something that I know all about.
[47:12.820 --> 47:18.820] And there is plenty of noise on the electrical lines, even without the smart meters.
[47:18.820 --> 47:32.820] And there are companies out there that make very expensive equipment to filter out that noise for radio studios and for audio recording studios and things like that.
[47:32.820 --> 47:35.820] And so that is something that I've had to invest in.
[47:35.820 --> 47:44.820] And we actually do need to upgrade that type of equipment here. And I know what Laura's talking about, you know, that's sold on the power hour.
[47:44.820 --> 47:51.820] And that's good for home use, for, you know, general consumer use, but it's not sufficient for studio quality use.
[47:51.820 --> 47:55.820] And so that is some of the upgrades that we need to be making around here.
[47:55.820 --> 47:59.820] We do appreciate all the donations to the fundraiser.
[47:59.820 --> 48:03.820] So I am still in the process of sorting out that information.
[48:03.820 --> 48:09.820] Speaking of the drawing, I just want to let folks know before we bring on our next guest how that is going to go.
[48:09.820 --> 48:18.820] We are using a third party drawing service at a website called random.org.
[48:18.820 --> 48:22.820] They are very well spoken of.
[48:22.820 --> 48:37.820] They are third party certified in and of themselves and they are given five stars by the gaming industry and the casino industry across the board for being completely random and completely fair.
[48:37.820 --> 48:49.820] And so I will be using that system to do the drawing for the gun giveaway and everyone will get to see that everything is completely fair.
[48:49.820 --> 48:57.820] Anyway, I'll go over the details at another time because we want to bring on our next guest, but I just wanted to give folks a little bit of an update on that situation.
[48:57.820 --> 49:09.820] Right now we have got our very good friend, Steve Skidmore, who actually used to be a host on this network until he had to move on because he didn't have time to invest in the show anymore.
[49:09.820 --> 49:17.820] And he is coming on tonight to talk about some mortgage issues, but first Steve, would you like to comment on any of the smart meter stuff?
[49:17.820 --> 49:21.820] Yes, I would. Thank you, Deborah, for the invitation. I appreciate it.
[49:21.820 --> 49:39.820] Yeah, I was trying to catch the doctor over the break and thank her for all of her research and everything. I knew these things were dangerous. I didn't know how dangerous.
[49:39.820 --> 49:41.820] Are you there?
[49:41.820 --> 49:43.820] Yeah, I'm here. Please go ahead.
[49:43.820 --> 49:57.820] That's, you know, it floored me to hear how just the level of radiation these things put off. I want to go put 10-4 all over mine or go take a camera.
[49:57.820 --> 50:00.820] If I do that, I don't think I'll be connected to you guys, right?
[50:00.820 --> 50:12.820] Yeah, literally you need like a 10-4 hat to deal with these things and so it is just absolutely not true that, oh, it's as harmless as a cell phone.
[50:12.820 --> 50:24.820] Even cell phones are not harmless, folks, and I would encourage everyone to use a wired headset, not a Bluetooth, because those will fry your head with radiation, too.
[50:24.820 --> 50:35.820] But we actually had a very close friend of ours die of brain cancer right on the side of his head, right in the spot where he would hold the cell phone to his head all the time.
[50:35.820 --> 50:44.820] And he knew for a fact that it was from the cell phone and even the doctors said it was from the cell phone. So folks, word to the wise, even the cell phones are not safe.
[50:44.820 --> 50:57.820] You need to use the earbuds. You need to use a wired headset, not a Bluetooth. But yeah, the concern of the smart meters, they're absolutely, I mean, they're just not even in the same league as the cell phone.
[50:57.820 --> 51:07.820] Yeah, I try to limit as best I can the time that I spend on the cell phone. It's hard to do in this business.
[51:07.820 --> 51:21.820] All right, well, Steve, why don't we transition here and change gears. You came on to Crow about recent victory of yours regarding mortgage issues.
[51:21.820 --> 51:28.820] I don't know about Crow. Crow might be a little a little strong.
[51:28.820 --> 51:30.820] Cluck? Cackle.
[51:30.820 --> 51:44.820] Cluck? Cackle. No, I don't mind sharing what happened, because I think what happened in my case is it will will affect many others.
[51:44.820 --> 51:53.820] I'd spent six years fighting the banks. I feel, let me stress, I feel as if I have won.
[51:53.820 --> 52:02.820] This, I say that because this is not one of those things you go into a hearing and judge signs your order and slams his gavel.
[52:02.820 --> 52:06.820] Congratulations, Mr. Skidmore. You won. No, it wasn't like that.
[52:06.820 --> 52:16.820] What it was is I won on an appeal, which is I'm learning very typical.
[52:16.820 --> 52:22.820] You're not going to get any ground and this is something I've learned over the past six years. You're not going to get any ground in lower courts.
[52:22.820 --> 52:40.820] You're going to get very little traction in the state courts where you're going to get your traction, get your pleadings heard and really get, you know, again, any kind of traction is in the appellate process for the superior courts.
[52:40.820 --> 52:48.820] Unfortunately, I've seen a lot of bias from the bench.
[52:48.820 --> 52:57.820] An awful lot of bias. Can't imagine why, you know, I don't think it'd be have anything to do with with judges trying to protect their retirement investments.
[52:57.820 --> 52:59.820] No, no, no, it's not accusing of that.
[52:59.820 --> 53:11.820] But anyway, to get out of the philosophy and into the mechanics of this, in my case, what this was, let me, let me go through what happened.
[53:11.820 --> 53:30.820] We lost on a second forcible detainer. Now, the second filing of the forcible detainer is kind of, well, it bears mentioning because that's where things tend to kind of fall apart here.
[53:30.820 --> 53:42.820] The forcible detainer in the Texas Civil Practices and Remedies Code section 16.003.
[53:42.820 --> 53:48.820] 003 outlines a two year statute limitations period. Let me read that to you.
[53:48.820 --> 54:09.820] Section 16.003, Texas Civil Practices and Remedies Code, two year two year limitation period, except as provided by section 16.010, which does not apply 16 double lot 31 does not apply double lot 45 does not apply.
[54:09.820 --> 54:35.820] A person may bring suit for trespass or injury to the estate or the property of another, conversion of personal property, taking or detaining personal property of another, personal injury, forcible entry and detainer and forcible detainer, not later than two years after the day the cause of action accrues.
[54:35.820 --> 54:44.820] Pay close attention to when the cause of action accrues. Two years after the day, there's a big question here.
[54:44.820 --> 54:54.820] When does this cause of action accrue? Many would say that the cause of action would accrue on the day of the foreclosure sale.
[54:54.820 --> 55:05.820] Many bank representative attorneys have claimed that it reaccrues every month on the month when the homeowner refuses to leave.
[55:05.820 --> 55:12.820] Well, let's think about this. Could it be the day of sale? It could be the day of the foreclosure sale.
[55:12.820 --> 55:27.820] But then after the sale, you get this letter from these guys that you got assigned for, and they're allowing you three days to stay there and gather your stuff and get out, right? It's better also known as a three day notice to vacate.
[55:27.820 --> 55:34.820] That means on day four, if you have not vacated, the cause of action has accrued. Agree?
[55:34.820 --> 55:46.820] No, I'm not agreeing. Okay. Their claim accrued when it accrued. Now, they had two years to make their claim.
[55:46.820 --> 55:54.820] So they used up three days of that just to be nice. Actually, the statute requires them to. Okay.
[55:54.820 --> 56:05.820] But their claim accrued on the day they got the claim. And just because they granted you some extra time doesn't mean that they waived their claim.
[56:05.820 --> 56:09.820] Okay. And it doesn't move the claim forward either.
[56:09.820 --> 56:13.820] So then that would push back the day of accrual back to the day of the sale.
[56:13.820 --> 56:15.820] Exactly. That's when they...
[56:15.820 --> 56:16.820] Fine. Okay.
[56:16.820 --> 56:18.820] Gained ownership of the problem.
[56:18.820 --> 56:26.820] Let me pad this a little bit. In my case, let me pad this a little bit and give them that extra three days.
[56:26.820 --> 56:39.820] You can have that extra three days. On day four, the cause of action, that would have been the absolute latest time that this cause of action leading to the action of a forcible detainer could have accrued.
[56:39.820 --> 56:59.820] Well, they did file in a timely manner the first time, but it was dismissed. I'm sure you remember, Randy, we filed something in a district court which barred the JP court from ruling on the eviction.
[56:59.820 --> 57:05.820] That was dismissed. So therefore, it was as if it never happened.
[57:05.820 --> 57:20.820] Now, here it is, 2013. One year, seven months past the passing of the statute of limitations, they file again.
[57:20.820 --> 57:25.820] A year and seven months outside the statute of limitations.
[57:25.820 --> 57:36.820] But the suit, the forcible detainer suit, let's take a look at the styling of the suit.
[57:36.820 --> 57:51.820] This suit was styled in the name of a lender that no longer exists, has not existed since 2009. It was an Ohio corporation.
[57:51.820 --> 57:57.820] I hear the music.
[57:57.820 --> 58:03.820] Okay, this is Vandy Kelton. This is top of the hour. You've still got about 30 seconds. Go ahead.
[58:03.820 --> 58:13.820] Oh, okay. Well, when we get back from the break, I'd like to get into the foreign entity deal.
[58:13.820 --> 58:22.820] This was an Ohio corporation, a foreign entity. They're barred from filing suit in the state.
[58:22.820 --> 58:26.820] We'll go over that in the business organizations code.
[58:26.820 --> 58:29.820] They would be if they still existed.
[58:29.820 --> 58:31.820] True, true. Yes.
[58:31.820 --> 58:37.820] Okay, this is Randy Kelton, Deborah Stevens with our special guest, Steve Skidmore.
[58:37.820 --> 58:50.820] Our caller at number 512-646-1984. Give us a call. We'll be right back on the other side.

[01:00:39.820 --> 01:00:47.820] Special screening Thursday, April 18 at Flix Brewhouse in Round Rock, Texas. Information at SilverCircleMovie.com and now the news.
[01:00:47.820 --> 01:00:58.820] After reaching a high of $260 per Bitcoin earlier this week, the price of the online alternative currency plummeted this week to $160 of Bitcoin according to ARS Technica.
[01:00:58.820 --> 01:01:08.820] The massive overnight loss in value of Bitcoin some experts claim is due to hoarding of coins by users who build a large reserve base and then sell them out for a large gain.
[01:01:08.820 --> 01:01:23.820] Bitcoin user Bitcoin Billionaire engineered a similar feat in the past two days when the user gave away $12,000 to 12 random Bitcoin account holders just days after he received $9,000 from an anonymous user with a non-visible IP address.
[01:01:23.820 --> 01:01:40.820] While the recent plunge in price has discouraged some potential investors from buying Bitcoin, others view the large decrease as a sign that Bitcoin market is stabilizing and become even worth more per individual unit.
[01:01:40.820 --> 01:01:53.820] According to North Jersey News, four firefighters in Swanee, Georgia have been taken hostage after a so-called routine medical call to a private residence. Upon arrival, it was discovered a man in the home had barricaded himself inside.
[01:01:53.820 --> 01:02:00.820] The hostage firefighters were later released. The fate of the man in the standoff and whether he survived the incident is still unknown.
[01:02:00.820 --> 01:02:14.820] In London, the G8 Economic Unit of Nations will meet to discuss international financial policy, international foreign policy, and the coordination of international domestic policies.
[01:02:14.820 --> 01:02:23.820] Also being discussed are the troubled relationships with the two countries, Syria and North Korea, which are currently at odds with the firm former world superpower, the United States.
[01:02:23.820 --> 01:02:29.820] Efforts by the U.S. military and other covert operations groups to topple regimes in these countries have so far been unsuccessful.
[01:02:29.820 --> 01:02:36.820] International leaders hope to use this opportunity to mend relationships and reset tensions between the United States and North Korea.
[01:02:36.820 --> 01:02:59.820] According to the India Times, also up for discussion is further sanctions against the nation of Iran and how to give greater humanitarian assistance to the Syrian people and its government.
[01:03:06.820 --> 01:03:16.820] In the last year, the U.S. military and other U.S. military forces have been launched into the U.S. and the U.S. military and other U.S. military forces have been launched into the U.S.
[01:03:16.820 --> 01:03:35.820] and other U.S. military forces have been launched into the U.S. and other U.S. military forces have been launched into the U.S. and other U.S. military forces have been launched into the U.S. and other U.S. military forces have been launched into the U.S.
[01:03:35.820 --> 01:03:47.220] Okay, we are back, Randy Kelton, Debbie Stevens, Wheel of Law Radio, here with our special
[01:03:47.220 --> 01:03:56.260] guest, Steve Skidmore, and we were talking about a company that didn't exist that couldn't
[01:03:56.260 --> 01:03:59.300] have done business in Texas anyway.
[01:03:59.300 --> 01:04:00.300] Go ahead, Steve.
[01:04:00.300 --> 01:04:01.900] That's right.
[01:04:01.900 --> 01:04:09.100] The company was an Ohio corporation, and I went to the Secretary of State's office
[01:04:09.100 --> 01:04:15.060] and got a certified copy of a, well, not a certified copy, and did anything from that
[01:04:15.060 --> 01:04:20.420] office on their letterheads, self-authenticating, and all that, and anyway, what I got was
[01:04:20.420 --> 01:04:29.500] a certificate of fact, that's what they called it, certificate of fact.
[01:04:29.500 --> 01:04:36.620] Fact is, they have no records of this company having filed their business name with the
[01:04:36.620 --> 01:04:44.380] Secretary of State, which would have granted them the courtesy of our courts, but since
[01:04:44.380 --> 01:04:48.540] they didn't pay their dues at the SOS office, they're barred from filing, let me read this
[01:04:48.540 --> 01:04:56.620] business organization's code, section 9.051, Transacting Business or Maintaining Court Proceedings
[01:04:56.620 --> 01:04:59.260] Without Registration.
[01:04:59.260 --> 01:05:07.860] Section B, or subsection B, a foreign filing entity or the entity's legal representative
[01:05:07.860 --> 01:05:16.460] may not maintain an action suit or proceeding in a court in this state brought either directly
[01:05:16.460 --> 01:05:24.700] or by an entity or, let me get a little closer to this, my eyes are going bad, or in the
[01:05:24.700 --> 01:05:30.860] form of a derivative action in the entity's name on a cause of action that arises out
[01:05:30.860 --> 01:05:37.220] of a transaction of business in this state unless the foreign filing entity is registered
[01:05:37.220 --> 01:05:43.540] in accordance with this chapter, this subsection does not affect the rights of an assignee
[01:05:43.540 --> 01:05:51.740] of a foreign filing entity as one, the holder in due course of a negotiable instrument,
[01:05:51.740 --> 01:05:55.460] let's pause there.
[01:05:55.460 --> 01:06:00.620] Two issues, holder in due course and negotiable instrument.
[01:06:00.620 --> 01:06:09.260] If you've had any kind of securities analysis done on your mortgage by somebody competent
[01:06:09.260 --> 01:06:16.420] to do this type of work, very difficult to find these type of people, got a lot of background
[01:06:16.420 --> 01:06:23.180] when I was back to Randy, but you can find out who the holder in due course is, you
[01:06:23.180 --> 01:06:30.220] can find out who the real party in interest is, I don't want to choose venues but if you
[01:06:30.220 --> 01:06:37.620] go to the federal rules of civil procedure, Rule 17A1 clearly defines who can sue and
[01:06:37.620 --> 01:06:50.180] who can be sued, and in order to maintain a suit or I believe it says 17A says something
[01:06:50.180 --> 01:06:59.340] to the effect that a suit must be prosecuted or an action must be prosecuted in the name
[01:06:59.340 --> 01:07:05.220] of the real party in interest, well a real party in interest is a guy who's got money
[01:07:05.220 --> 01:07:10.780] on the table, but this one here says holder in due course.
[01:07:10.780 --> 01:07:18.300] We go to the UCC and find out what a holder in due course is and that's the guy who actually
[01:07:18.300 --> 01:07:23.580] has the paperwork and has the authority to act on the paperwork and the paperwork had
[01:07:23.580 --> 01:07:26.700] better be a negotiable instrument.
[01:07:26.700 --> 01:07:32.260] Again go to the UCC for definition of negotiable instrument, well if you've had any kind of
[01:07:32.260 --> 01:07:42.740] hanky-panky going on that would negate the negotiability of the note which is a negotiable
[01:07:42.740 --> 01:07:48.140] or would be a negotiable instrument, they would not be the holders in due course and
[01:07:48.140 --> 01:07:53.940] of a negotiable instrument even if they held the instrument it's non-negotiable, if they
[01:07:53.940 --> 01:08:01.420] are not the holders they can't file a squat in this state.
[01:08:01.420 --> 01:08:12.300] So these guys based, number one, they don't exist which would mean what, Randy fell in
[01:08:12.300 --> 01:08:17.300] a baritry maybe, you didn't have a client there Mr. Attorney.
[01:08:17.300 --> 01:08:24.060] Issuing a, let's see, tampering with the government document, simulating the process,
[01:08:24.060 --> 01:08:25.980] the whole stack of them.
[01:08:25.980 --> 01:08:27.980] Contempt of court.
[01:08:27.980 --> 01:08:35.620] Now let's go to, of course, baritry by the lawyer which had, absolutely, that's a felony.
[01:08:35.620 --> 01:08:46.980] Now when we went into court the attorney for the, the opposing attorney received or before
[01:08:46.980 --> 01:08:52.020] we went into court he received screenshots of the Ohio Secretary of State's website.
[01:08:52.020 --> 01:08:54.220] He objected to that.
[01:08:54.220 --> 01:09:03.260] He also got a screenshot of the Texas Secretary of State's website showing from Ohio that
[01:09:03.260 --> 01:09:07.220] they'd gone out of business in 2009, no longer existed.
[01:09:07.220 --> 01:09:13.540] From Texas showing that they'd never registered to do business in the state.
[01:09:13.540 --> 01:09:20.820] To which both he objected, his objections were that the documents were not under seal,
[01:09:20.820 --> 01:09:24.200] they were not authenticated, they were not verified.
[01:09:24.200 --> 01:09:30.900] The judge in this case being a good, fair, decent and honorable judge, I've got to hand
[01:09:30.900 --> 01:09:36.380] it to him, he went to the website, he just, he's got a computer right there, he says let's
[01:09:36.380 --> 01:09:37.540] go see.
[01:09:37.540 --> 01:09:43.860] So he went to the Ohio Secretary website, yeah, I see a seal, that's exhibit A. Let's
[01:09:43.860 --> 01:09:50.500] go to Texas, went to Texas, I see a seal there too, that's exhibit B, objection your honor.
[01:09:50.500 --> 01:09:54.380] This is a Florida corporation, stop right there.
[01:09:54.380 --> 01:10:00.020] This is a Florida corporation, that is an affirmative statement.
[01:10:00.020 --> 01:10:05.420] If we go to the canons of ethics from the American Bar Association, we read that an
[01:10:05.420 --> 01:10:13.620] affirmative statement from an attorney must be made based on a reasonable search, this
[01:10:13.620 --> 01:10:17.140] is what we call due diligence.
[01:10:17.140 --> 01:10:23.900] I did a reasonable search on the Florida thing, the judge thought he would do a reasonable
[01:10:23.900 --> 01:10:31.620] search on the Florida claim, so he went to the Florida website, Ohio Corporation, principal
[01:10:31.620 --> 01:10:37.740] address Cincinnati, Ohio and oh by the way, they pulled all their documents out in 2009
[01:10:37.740 --> 01:10:45.740] because they went out of business, uh oh, that's where he got caught for baritry, the
[01:10:45.740 --> 01:10:50.220] judge didn't call it, but I caught it.
[01:10:50.220 --> 01:11:03.900] Now candor toward the tribunal, candor toward the tribunal is rule 3.3 of the ABA rules of
[01:11:03.900 --> 01:11:12.820] ethics, this is, I encourage everybody to read this for themselves, this is an attorney's
[01:11:12.820 --> 01:11:21.340] duty to be honest in order to protect the integrity of the profession, he's got to be
[01:11:21.340 --> 01:11:22.340] honest.
[01:11:22.340 --> 01:11:32.980] He wasn't honest was he, not when he made that affirmative statement, clearly not based
[01:11:32.980 --> 01:11:37.500] on a reasonable search, clearly not based on his due diligence, he just pulled that
[01:11:37.500 --> 01:11:38.500] out of the air.
[01:11:38.500 --> 01:11:49.220] Okay, hold on just a second, rule 3.3, candor toward the tribunal, yes, I'll turn these
[01:11:49.220 --> 01:11:54.940] into questions so I'll read them from the question format, did the advocate knowingly
[01:11:54.940 --> 01:12:03.260] make a false statement of fact or law to a tribunal or failed to correct a false statement
[01:12:03.260 --> 01:12:09.460] of material fact or law previously made to the tribunal by the lawyer, did the lawyer
[01:12:09.460 --> 01:12:16.740] fail to disclose to the tribunal, legal authority in the controlling jurisdiction known to the
[01:12:16.740 --> 01:12:24.780] lawyer to be directly adverse to the position, to your position and not disclosed by opposing
[01:12:24.780 --> 01:12:31.180] counsel, exactly.
[01:12:31.180 --> 01:12:38.620] Did the lawyer present evidence the lawyer knows to do to be false, yes.
[01:12:38.620 --> 01:12:50.020] That's 3.3a, 3.3b, did a lawyer who represented a client in an adjudicated proceeding and
[01:12:50.020 --> 01:12:56.260] who knew that a person intended to engage was engaged or had engaged in criminal fraudulent
[01:12:56.260 --> 01:13:02.300] conduct related to the proceeding, failed to take reasonable remedial measures including
[01:13:02.300 --> 01:13:08.580] if necessary the disclosure to the tribunal.
[01:13:08.580 --> 01:13:17.780] Did the lawyer who represented a client in adjudicated proceeding, I forgot how to read
[01:13:17.780 --> 01:13:25.020] this, okay, the lawyer in an ex parte proceeding failed to inform the tribunal of all material
[01:13:25.020 --> 01:13:30.540] facts known to the lawyer that would enable the tribunal to make an informed decision
[01:13:30.540 --> 01:13:40.380] whether or not the facts are adverse, that's 3.3.
[01:13:40.380 --> 01:13:45.780] I have these on bargrevance.net, you can go to bargrevance.net and I do have to make
[01:13:45.780 --> 01:13:53.300] some corrections to it because it's not exactly clear, when you go to the website I have all
[01:13:53.300 --> 01:13:57.620] the states listed, I'm going to have to take those off of there because they're confusing.
[01:13:57.620 --> 01:14:06.420] You go to grievance input form, when you click on that it will take you to a map of the American
[01:14:06.420 --> 01:14:13.260] Bar Association model standards and the American Bar Association standards for the prosecutorial
[01:14:13.260 --> 01:14:14.260] function.
[01:14:14.260 --> 01:14:19.660] If you go through those you'll have a great time, it's lots of fun.
[01:14:19.660 --> 01:14:27.500] I've changed them from the statements in the statutes to questions, so they're easier
[01:14:27.500 --> 01:14:30.300] to walk through in questions than that.
[01:14:30.300 --> 01:14:36.820] That's nice, that's good, that's good, putting those in question form out to get you right
[01:14:36.820 --> 01:14:40.220] to the nitty gritty, makes perfect sense.
[01:14:40.220 --> 01:14:46.140] For questions I can bring you to any specifics, standards, so you don't have to read through
[01:14:46.140 --> 01:14:53.180] the whole things to try to figure out which one you need to apply, you just read the questions
[01:14:53.180 --> 01:14:55.300] and they'll take you there very quickly.
[01:14:55.300 --> 01:14:58.620] Okay, back to Mr. Skidmore.
[01:14:58.620 --> 01:15:03.780] So this attorney is floundering, okay, he's reaching for straws, he's floundering.
[01:15:03.780 --> 01:15:10.900] He came up with your honor, I just got all these documents 10 minutes before walking
[01:15:10.900 --> 01:15:12.540] into court.
[01:15:12.540 --> 01:15:18.140] This is ambush litigation, I've not had a chance to prepare a defense.
[01:15:18.140 --> 01:15:22.100] I'm thinking how do you defend against not having a client, sir?
[01:15:22.100 --> 01:15:25.140] But anyway, the judge said, okay, how much time do you need, we can get you in here tomorrow
[01:15:25.140 --> 01:15:26.140] if you want.
[01:15:26.140 --> 01:15:30.300] Well, he's going to be in another county, my attorney's going to be in another county.
[01:15:30.300 --> 01:15:34.260] So okay, you guys haggle it out and find out when you want to come back in.
[01:15:34.260 --> 01:15:40.540] Well they decided on March 5th, going back in on March 5th.
[01:15:40.540 --> 01:15:48.820] Before March 5th came, we received a document titled, agreed order of dismissal.
[01:15:48.820 --> 01:15:58.780] This was an agreed order on both sides to dismiss the appeal.
[01:15:58.780 --> 01:16:06.460] And that was followed by opposing counsel filing, now keep in mind he won the forcible
[01:16:06.460 --> 01:16:12.140] detainer, that's why I appealed, but he vacated that.
[01:16:12.140 --> 01:16:19.260] He went into the JP court and filed a motion to vacate the judgment at the JP.
[01:16:19.260 --> 01:16:27.620] I haven't heard anything for 45 odd days or so now, so do I consider it a win?
[01:16:27.620 --> 01:16:35.140] If it smells like a duck and it walks like a duck, shoot it, put it on the table.
[01:16:35.140 --> 01:16:40.620] For me, this is absolutely exceptional because Steve is the first person I ever tried to
[01:16:40.620 --> 01:16:41.620] help.
[01:16:41.620 --> 01:16:48.380] And Steve was very smart because he dumped me really quick, but this is not my win, this
[01:16:48.380 --> 01:16:49.380] is Steve's win.
[01:16:49.380 --> 01:17:06.420] I could not be more proud of him, he'll be right back on the other side.
[01:17:06.420 --> 01:17:21.220] He'll be right back on the other side, he'll be right back on the other side, he'll be
[01:17:21.220 --> 01:17:26.220] right back on the other side.
[01:17:26.220 --> 01:17:40.300] He'll be right back on the other side, he'll be right back on the other side.
[01:17:40.300 --> 01:17:59.980] He'll be right back on the other side, he'll be right back on the other side.
[01:17:59.980 --> 01:18:29.780] He'll be right back on the other side, he'll be right back on the other side.
[01:18:29.780 --> 01:18:59.340] He'll be right back on the other side.
[01:18:59.780 --> 01:19:29.620] He'll be right back on the other side, he'll be right back on the other side.
[01:19:29.620 --> 01:19:42.380] Okay, we are back, Randy Kelton, David Stevens with our radio here with our very special
[01:19:42.380 --> 01:19:50.020] guest, Steve Skidmore, good to hear his voice on the air again, good to be back on.
[01:19:50.020 --> 01:20:02.500] And at this point, what do you think the options of the other side are if they have any?
[01:20:02.500 --> 01:20:10.260] If they had any, they would have had 30 days to file whatever they had.
[01:20:10.260 --> 01:20:18.500] I put them in a position, actually I didn't put them in the situation itself, but well
[01:20:18.500 --> 01:20:23.220] I may have put them, anyway, they were in the position where the only thing they could
[01:20:23.220 --> 01:20:27.220] have filed was a suit for trespass to try title.
[01:20:27.220 --> 01:20:32.740] This is where you come in and discuss strictly title issues, show who's the holder and do
[01:20:32.740 --> 01:20:39.500] course, show who's the real party in interest, prove up an accurate complete and true chain
[01:20:39.500 --> 01:20:41.380] of title.
[01:20:41.380 --> 01:20:47.180] These are issues that the opposing council, I don't think, I gave them reason to believe
[01:20:47.180 --> 01:20:52.060] that he was not going to make it through this type of test, because I put my securities
[01:20:52.060 --> 01:21:00.540] audit in my, as I was going to offer my securities, I put it in my pleading, but I had to enter
[01:21:00.540 --> 01:21:04.460] it in as evidence, we never got a chance to get that far.
[01:21:04.460 --> 01:21:11.220] So knowing, I gave him a heads up, knowing what he had to climb over, I think he saw
[01:21:11.220 --> 01:21:18.300] best not to file that type of action.
[01:21:18.300 --> 01:21:25.660] So I guess the only response to that would be, fuck, fuck, fuck.
[01:21:25.660 --> 01:21:30.940] You know, it's funny, Randy, I've been fighting these guys for six years.
[01:21:30.940 --> 01:21:35.580] I feel like I finally beat them, but I don't feel like beating my chest, I just, I feel
[01:21:35.580 --> 01:21:36.580] like going on vacation.
[01:21:36.580 --> 01:21:37.580] Yeah.
[01:21:37.580 --> 01:21:43.340] I feel like beating my chest, it's, it's, I think most people are that way because
[01:21:43.340 --> 01:21:47.020] it's, it's such a difficult struggle.
[01:21:47.020 --> 01:21:48.020] It's a strain.
[01:21:48.020 --> 01:21:56.500] I'll tell you that anybody facing foreclosure and facing the battles that, that we go through,
[01:21:56.500 --> 01:21:59.900] it's no easy task.
[01:21:59.900 --> 01:22:00.900] It's no easy task.
[01:22:00.900 --> 01:22:02.860] It's, it's not for the weak at heart.
[01:22:02.860 --> 01:22:07.660] Well, you know, when, when Steve started this, he came to me because I'd been researching
[01:22:07.660 --> 01:22:14.020] it and he got started and it wasn't long until I was coming to him.
[01:22:14.020 --> 01:22:20.340] So he really got in there and they did his homework and if you learn the hard way, yeah,
[01:22:20.340 --> 01:22:26.140] if you are facing foreclosure, we can fight them.
[01:22:26.140 --> 01:22:27.140] Absolutely.
[01:22:27.140 --> 01:22:28.140] Absolutely.
[01:22:28.140 --> 01:22:32.100] It can't, I'm living proof it can be done.
[01:22:32.100 --> 01:22:33.300] It takes perseverance.
[01:22:33.300 --> 01:22:34.300] It takes guts.
[01:22:34.300 --> 01:22:35.420] It takes determination.
[01:22:35.420 --> 01:22:44.140] It takes patience and it takes learning, learning, learning, gotta know what you're doing.
[01:22:44.140 --> 01:22:51.420] I didn't, I didn't, when I start, you know what list, Randy, I started listening to you
[01:22:51.420 --> 01:22:57.020] preaching fire and brimstone about due process.
[01:22:57.020 --> 01:23:00.180] Thank you.
[01:23:00.180 --> 01:23:01.180] Thank you.
[01:23:01.180 --> 01:23:02.180] You're welcome.
[01:23:02.180 --> 01:23:07.500] Best of the best lessons in some of the best lessons and due process I learned, I learned
[01:23:07.500 --> 01:23:08.900] from you.
[01:23:08.900 --> 01:23:12.540] You are the reason that I do this.
[01:23:12.540 --> 01:23:13.540] I didn't know that.
[01:23:13.540 --> 01:23:18.060] Well, there's about 2% of the people.
[01:23:18.060 --> 01:23:21.500] It's about, it's all we need to change everything.
[01:23:21.500 --> 01:23:22.500] Yes.
[01:23:22.500 --> 01:23:23.500] Agreed.
[01:23:23.500 --> 01:23:32.500] If you go around courthouses in Texas and go into courthouse and ask the security, do
[01:23:32.500 --> 01:23:36.380] you know a guy named Randy Keltum?
[01:23:36.380 --> 01:23:39.980] You'll get surrounded with about a half a dozen guys with pistols.
[01:23:39.980 --> 01:23:43.820] Do you like that much, do they, Randy?
[01:23:43.820 --> 01:23:44.820] Yeah.
[01:23:44.820 --> 01:23:45.820] Okay.
[01:23:45.820 --> 01:23:46.820] I'm just one person.
[01:23:46.820 --> 01:23:54.740] And I've hammered them a few times, not that gosh awful many times, but I didn't come in
[01:23:54.740 --> 01:23:58.060] there like the Republic of Texas.
[01:23:58.060 --> 01:24:03.220] I came in there with chapter and verse and set them up.
[01:24:03.220 --> 01:24:05.860] So they all know who I am.
[01:24:05.860 --> 01:24:10.060] How many of those do we need?
[01:24:10.060 --> 01:24:14.780] Just got a guy out of jail because I went down there and jerked him around a bit.
[01:24:14.780 --> 01:24:20.100] And then they went and checked, found out who I was and he come back to court and they
[01:24:20.100 --> 01:24:21.100] made him a deal.
[01:24:21.100 --> 01:24:24.860] He couldn't pass up to get him out of their jail.
[01:24:24.860 --> 01:24:26.980] They wanted him gone.
[01:24:26.980 --> 01:24:35.020] So if we had two or three people in every county doing this, this would go away.
[01:24:35.020 --> 01:24:37.740] I would, I was going to say this.
[01:24:37.740 --> 01:24:41.340] It is completely and entirely up to us.
[01:24:41.340 --> 01:24:53.220] They're going to do everything they can to hide the fact from us that when you walk into
[01:24:53.220 --> 01:24:58.780] a courtroom, you are the baddest motor scooter in the building.
[01:24:58.780 --> 01:25:03.580] They absolutely do not want you to do to know that.
[01:25:03.580 --> 01:25:09.100] And they'll do everything they can to keep you from finding that out because once you
[01:25:09.100 --> 01:25:13.980] have found it out, it's all over.
[01:25:13.980 --> 01:25:17.740] That's the genie they can't put back in the bottle.
[01:25:17.740 --> 01:25:23.260] And that was one of the things that I wanted to reference.
[01:25:23.260 --> 01:25:31.260] You won this case, but you won a whole lot more than that.
[01:25:31.260 --> 01:25:43.060] And doing this, after having done all of this, if a set of red lights start flashing in your
[01:25:43.060 --> 01:25:48.220] mirror, I doubt that you're going to get that sick feeling in the pity you stomach like
[01:25:48.220 --> 01:25:50.780] you would have at one time.
[01:25:50.780 --> 01:25:56.220] Well, yes, but not near as bad as it used to be.
[01:25:56.220 --> 01:26:02.900] The last time they turned on me, I looked up in the rearview mirror and I thought, Bubba,
[01:26:02.900 --> 01:26:04.900] take your best shot.
[01:26:04.900 --> 01:26:07.340] This is going to be fun.
[01:26:07.340 --> 01:26:10.020] That is far more valuable.
[01:26:10.020 --> 01:26:15.020] We actually get to be free men, regardless of the corruption around.
[01:26:15.020 --> 01:26:29.980] I have a letter from one of our listeners in Florida, and it's titled 1000 Paper Cuts.
[01:26:29.980 --> 01:26:35.420] I may not read all of it, I mean, it's an email, it's a little bit large, we may not
[01:26:35.420 --> 01:26:39.420] have time to read it all, I may finish it tomorrow night, but I think you would like
[01:26:39.420 --> 01:26:40.420] hearing this.
[01:26:40.420 --> 01:26:45.060] It says, Randall, I have a story I'd like to share with you concerning a lawyer I've
[01:26:45.060 --> 01:26:50.060] been using like a punching bag here in Florida with the use of bar grievances.
[01:26:50.060 --> 01:26:54.780] I don't expect you to recall about a year ago, I called him to the show to discuss some
[01:26:54.780 --> 01:27:01.100] issues concerning a lawsuit my homeowner's association filed against me for allegedly
[01:27:01.100 --> 01:27:04.100] not paying annual assessments.
[01:27:04.100 --> 01:27:08.780] The reader's digest version of the facts around the case exposed the homeowner's association
[01:27:08.780 --> 01:27:13.940] and their attorney for committing several acts of fraud as outlined in my counter suit.
[01:27:13.940 --> 01:27:20.100] In addition to the fraud, the plaintiffs to its attorney committed several counts of simulation
[01:27:20.100 --> 01:27:21.740] of legal process.
[01:27:21.740 --> 01:27:27.060] In Florida, a person commits third-degree felony when such a person files with the court documents,
[01:27:27.060 --> 01:27:31.340] including the summons lien, complaint notice for any other document, while knowing that
[01:27:31.340 --> 01:27:36.460] the basis for filing such documents were known to be fraudulent or misrepresented facts
[01:27:36.460 --> 01:27:39.260] for the purpose of obtaining property.
[01:27:39.260 --> 01:27:43.700] When I read the statute, the grin on my face stretched from ear to ear lasted for about
[01:27:43.700 --> 01:27:44.700] a week.
[01:27:44.700 --> 01:27:49.420] I got busy writing grievances against the attorney representing the homeowner's association
[01:27:49.420 --> 01:27:50.420] that weekend.
[01:27:50.420 --> 01:27:55.780] I bargered the attorney for engaging in criminal activity, simulation of legal process affecting
[01:27:55.780 --> 01:28:01.340] the title to real estate a total of eight times.
[01:28:01.340 --> 01:28:05.700] The first was for filing a notice of lien, the second was for filing a less pendants,
[01:28:05.700 --> 01:28:11.940] the third was for filing and having caused issue of summons, the fourth was for filing
[01:28:11.940 --> 01:28:12.940] actual complaint.
[01:28:12.940 --> 01:28:19.140] I repeated the same grievances from my wife who was also named in the complaint, notice,
[01:28:19.140 --> 01:28:20.140] etc., etc.
[01:28:20.140 --> 01:28:26.500] A total of eight grievances were mailed every other two weeks for a time spanning 16 weeks.
[01:28:26.500 --> 01:28:31.020] By the time I got a response on the first grievance mailed, there was already another
[01:28:31.020 --> 01:28:36.100] one mailed and the next one waiting to be mailed the following week.
[01:28:36.100 --> 01:28:40.860] I got three responses before the Florida bar stopped answering me altogether.
[01:28:40.860 --> 01:28:46.300] Each response afforded the attorney the opportunity to rebut all allegations and offered me a
[01:28:46.300 --> 01:28:49.900] second opportunity to rebut all the defenses made by the attorney.
[01:28:49.900 --> 01:28:54.020] The first response is just as you said it would be, the standard, we've examined any
[01:28:54.020 --> 01:28:58.860] of the allegations made and find that the lawyer's conduct did not rise to the level
[01:28:58.860 --> 01:29:01.940] of blah, blah, blah.
[01:29:01.940 --> 01:29:06.220] The first two were identical in response, the third was a little different.
[01:29:06.220 --> 01:29:11.260] The third response from the Florida bar started off where we appreciate the time and the energy
[01:29:11.260 --> 01:29:15.460] taken to file this complaint and all sporting documents against Mr. Lawyer, however, we
[01:29:15.460 --> 01:29:20.860] regret to inform you that the level of conduct didn't rise to the level of blah, blah, blah.
[01:29:20.860 --> 01:29:25.140] Now here's where it got a little interesting, right after their standard statement there
[01:29:25.140 --> 01:29:29.620] was two sentences that I had read that followed.
[01:29:29.620 --> 01:29:33.820] The first sentence read, our decision plays no part in hindering the pursuit of other
[01:29:33.820 --> 01:29:36.900] legal remedies you can seek against Mr. Lawyer.
[01:29:36.900 --> 01:29:43.060] The final sentence urged me to forward any court order sanctioning Mr. Lawyer as this
[01:29:43.060 --> 01:29:47.420] would reopen the file and make potential changes to the committee's determination.
[01:29:47.420 --> 01:30:14.860] This is Randy Calton, David Stevens, we'll be right back on the other side.
[01:30:14.860 --> 01:30:20.180] Your search engine is watching you, recording all your searches and creating a massive database
[01:30:20.180 --> 01:30:22.260] of your personal information.
[01:30:22.260 --> 01:30:23.260] That's creepy.
[01:30:23.260 --> 01:30:25.260] But it doesn't have to be that way.
[01:30:25.260 --> 01:30:28.380] StartPage.com is the world's most private search engine.
[01:30:28.380 --> 01:30:33.020] StartPage doesn't store your IP address, make a record of your searches or use tracking cookies

[01:30:44.980 --> 01:30:47.140] Got a nagging ache that just won't go away?
[01:30:47.140 --> 01:30:49.460] You might go ahead for the produce aisle.
[01:30:49.460 --> 01:30:54.820] Ginger, the herb used in gingerbread cookies in Indian curry, can also put an end to pain.
[01:30:54.820 --> 01:30:58.820] Medical studies show ginger relieves pain and inflammation like aspirin and ibuprofen
[01:30:58.820 --> 01:31:01.420] do, but without the worrisome side effects.
[01:31:01.420 --> 01:31:06.300] Big pharma remedies can trigger stomach upset, gastrointestinal bleeding, and ulcers.
[01:31:06.300 --> 01:31:07.300] Ginger?
[01:31:07.300 --> 01:31:08.300] Well, it just tastes great.
[01:31:08.300 --> 01:31:13.660] Researchers say one or two teaspoons of ginger daily, raw or heated, can provide natural relief
[01:31:13.660 --> 01:31:18.100] for even the deep pain of osteoarthritis, so put down the aspirin bottle and reach for
[01:31:18.100 --> 01:31:19.100] the ginger.
[01:31:19.100 --> 01:31:21.980] It's natural, it's delicious, and it works wonders.

[01:33:32.380 --> 01:33:58.020] We are
[01:33:58.020 --> 01:34:15.780] Okay, we are back. Randy Kelton, Debra Stephens, RealVal Radio, here with our special guest,
[01:34:15.780 --> 01:34:27.420] Steve Skidmore. And Steve, now that you've gotten past that part, what do you have planned
[01:34:27.420 --> 01:34:36.900] for them in the future? Well, the company that I was working with went out of business,
[01:34:36.900 --> 01:34:45.940] endless fraud detection no longer exists that I know of. I have hooked up with some reputable
[01:34:45.940 --> 01:34:55.860] guys here in the Austin area for closure of defensive Texas. We're linked in, well,
[01:34:55.860 --> 01:35:00.300] I don't want to give too much away because we've got some stuff in the works. But there
[01:35:00.300 --> 01:35:06.140] is another private investigation company that does securities audits and what have you in
[01:35:06.140 --> 01:35:16.100] another state that we're dealing with and working very closely with. Confident evidence.
[01:35:16.100 --> 01:35:27.180] I've learned through time, through six years and through working with my own paperwork and
[01:35:27.180 --> 01:35:38.380] working with situations of others. Confident evidence is of the utmost importance. There
[01:35:38.380 --> 01:35:49.940] are a lot of websites on the internet that you can throw good money after bad at all day long.
[01:35:49.940 --> 01:36:00.180] A lot of these websites will charge you $500 companies as well. And some of them even have
[01:36:00.180 --> 01:36:16.020] attorneys in them. They'll charge you anywhere from $500 to $5,000 for what will not hold up in
[01:36:16.020 --> 01:36:28.300] court. The reason I bring up competent evidence, I had a conversation with an attorney in California.
[01:36:28.300 --> 01:36:36.100] This is about two years ago. After we had gone, the company that I was working with before,
[01:36:36.100 --> 01:36:44.340] after we had gone through the occupation code for the state of Texas, this is a subject that
[01:36:44.340 --> 01:36:51.460] touches your neck of the woods, Randy. You were touched by or accused under this of providing
[01:36:51.460 --> 01:36:58.580] private investigations without a license. Well, you can go through the litany of the thing.
[01:36:58.580 --> 01:37:06.340] And what we were doing very, very closely resembled what we were reading in the definitions.
[01:37:06.340 --> 01:37:17.100] So we made the decision to get the company licensed. That way we passed the competent
[01:37:17.100 --> 01:37:25.180] evidence test. So competent evidence is very important. And you asked me a question last week
[01:37:25.180 --> 01:37:34.620] or earlier this week, Randy. When is it important to get a private investigator involved? The best
[01:37:34.620 --> 01:37:40.220] time to get a private investigator involved is if you think there's something wrong with your
[01:37:40.220 --> 01:37:45.420] mortgage or with the way they're dealing with you. That's the best time to get a private investigator
[01:37:45.420 --> 01:37:53.140] involved. Now, can you go to your yellow pages and find a private investigator who's going to have
[01:37:53.140 --> 01:38:00.620] their mind wrapped around mortgage issues, securities exchange commission issues? No,
[01:38:00.620 --> 01:38:08.100] you're not. You're going to get people who will find missing persons and take pictures of cheating
[01:38:08.100 --> 01:38:15.100] wives and husbands, respectively. It's about all you're going to find and security. If you need
[01:38:15.100 --> 01:38:23.020] a bodyguard, there's plenty around. But you're not going to find many people who are, who specialize
[01:38:23.020 --> 01:38:32.100] in securities. I have access to those people. Randy has access to me. We get you competent
[01:38:32.100 --> 01:38:39.060] evidence. Will you kind of tell us what your experience was when you first, when you were early
[01:38:39.060 --> 01:38:45.300] in the procedure when you hired a private investigator? Yes. The court started paying
[01:38:45.300 --> 01:38:54.100] attention. It's all about credentials. It's in, when it comes to, to expert witnesses. Well,
[01:38:54.100 --> 01:39:00.020] see, Randy, okay, let, let me go through this. This is, this, you've raised a very good point.
[01:39:00.020 --> 01:39:07.020] This is something that's kind of upset me about my case because I've spent thousands of dollars.
[01:39:07.020 --> 01:39:18.700] Hours, hours, hour after hour, I mean, pulling all nighters studying. I didn't win on the merits
[01:39:18.700 --> 01:39:27.740] of my evidence. That's what really, that's what really baffled me. Is my evidence worthless?
[01:39:27.740 --> 01:39:40.340] Absolutely not. I'm not through using it yet. But I won on basic, basically technicalities,
[01:39:40.340 --> 01:39:48.900] statute limitations, and the company didn't exist. Did that open doors for other things? Yes,
[01:39:48.900 --> 01:40:02.780] it certainly did open several doors. But the, this kind of goes to what we keep saying here is,
[01:40:02.780 --> 01:40:09.740] you will never win your case simply because you have the law and the facts on your side.
[01:40:09.740 --> 01:40:17.820] Absolutely. To think so is naive. You will win the case if you have the politics on your side.
[01:40:17.820 --> 01:40:29.060] Yes, yes. Now, does evidence hurt? No, it does not. At the very least, it can be used as leverage.
[01:40:29.060 --> 01:40:35.740] You get somebody who knows, knows their way around a mortgage, somebody knows their way
[01:40:35.740 --> 01:40:43.940] around securities. Now you got something to dangle over the bank's heads. Is it a modification you
[01:40:43.940 --> 01:40:51.060] want? The first question comes to mind is, how in the world do you modify fraud? But if somebody,
[01:40:51.060 --> 01:40:56.980] if all they want is just their loan modified, well, now you got some ammo. Now you've got
[01:40:56.980 --> 01:41:02.380] something to hold over their head. You've got leverage. You want to refi. You've got leverage.
[01:41:02.380 --> 01:41:10.900] You want to sue. You've got leverage. Yeah, and without leverage, you know,
[01:41:10.900 --> 01:41:15.380] this is why we told people, without leverage, you're not going to move the rock. Right. You are
[01:41:15.380 --> 01:41:20.980] not going to get the bank's attention ever unless you sue them. That's right. That's the short and
[01:41:20.980 --> 01:41:27.300] long of that one. That's the short and long of that one. Yes, sir. Agreed. And if you want a loan
[01:41:27.300 --> 01:41:36.780] modification, file for a loan modification, then sue the crap out of them. That'll do one of two
[01:41:36.780 --> 01:41:43.540] things. That'll either get you foreclosed on immediately or it'll get you entangled or embroiled
[01:41:43.540 --> 01:41:49.980] in a lawsuit. Now what you going to do? You're going to hold them in court until they both get
[01:41:49.980 --> 01:41:55.980] old. Yeah. And this is what, you know, we've been telling people, you know, I, you know,
[01:41:55.980 --> 01:42:02.140] I could come in here and make you all kinds of promises. But the real world I live in,
[01:42:02.140 --> 01:42:09.060] the courts are corrupt. Yeah. They're absolutely corrupt. So anybody who comes to you and makes
[01:42:09.060 --> 01:42:17.020] you promises, don't walk away from them. Run. Yeah. What we can do though. I've got, I've got to,
[01:42:17.020 --> 01:42:23.580] I've got to break in here and say something about court corruption. There were two judges that I
[01:42:23.580 --> 01:42:32.300] went in front of, actually three, three that I think were, were absolutely fair. Two of them handed
[01:42:32.300 --> 01:42:40.940] me my backside very politely. And one of them saw kind of saw things the way we did. Now were
[01:42:40.940 --> 01:42:46.300] there some in between that just didn't want to hear anything from a deadbeat homeowner? Oh, yeah. Oh,
[01:42:46.300 --> 01:42:57.100] yeah. They're out there plenty. But I, I would like to stress that given the chance, I think
[01:42:59.180 --> 01:43:06.380] half of the judges that I've been in front of were willing to give me a fair shake. It's all in
[01:43:06.380 --> 01:43:14.300] the presentation. That's one thing I learned. It's all in the presentation. You're in a play.
[01:43:14.300 --> 01:43:22.460] That's why you're called actors. It's all in the presentation. Get in there. Get it done. Get it done
[01:43:22.460 --> 01:43:32.780] quick. Hit, hit hard. Bring real issues. Don't bring any of this sovereign patron child of God
[01:43:32.780 --> 01:43:39.500] born in the image. No, no, no, no, no. You want to lose your case? That's how you lose your case.
[01:43:39.500 --> 01:43:46.700] Okay, we will talk about this part when I come back. And I'm glad you went there because while I say
[01:43:46.700 --> 01:43:53.020] the courts are absolutely corrupt, I know that is not true. And I know how to get to the other side.
[01:43:53.020 --> 01:43:57.260] We'll talk about that when we come back. Randy Calderon, Deb Stephens and Craig. We'll be on
[01:43:57.260 --> 01:44:05.420] radio. We'll be right back. It is so enlightening to listen to 90.1 FM, but finding things on the
[01:44:05.420 --> 01:44:10.460] internet isn't so easy. And neither is finding like-minded people to share it with. Oh, well,
[01:44:10.460 --> 01:44:16.060] I guess you haven't heard of Brave New Books then. Brave New Books? Yes. Brave New Books has all the
[01:44:16.060 --> 01:44:21.180] books and DVDs you're looking for by authors like Alex Jones, Ron Paul and G. Edward Griffin.
[01:44:21.180 --> 01:44:26.940] They even stock inner food, Burkey products and Calvin Soap. There's no way a place like that
[01:44:26.940 --> 01:44:32.780] exists. Go check it out for yourself. It's downtown at 1904 Guadalupe Street just south of UT.
[01:44:32.780 --> 01:44:38.860] Oh, by UT? There's never anywhere to park down there. Actually, they now offer a free hour of
[01:44:38.860 --> 01:44:43.900] parking for paying customers at the 500 MLK parking facility just behind the bookstore.
[01:44:44.940 --> 01:44:51.900] It does exist, but when are they open? Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 1 to 6 p.m.
[01:44:51.900 --> 01:44:59.500] on Sundays. So give them a call at 512-480-2503 or check out their events page at bravenewbookstore.com.

[01:46:20.620 --> 01:46:26.220] Randy Kelton, David Stevens for Rule of Law Radio, and we're talking with our special guest,
[01:46:26.220 --> 01:46:33.740] Steve Skidmore, and you are right. You know, I say on the show you're not going to win your case
[01:46:33.740 --> 01:46:39.740] because the law and the facts you're on your side, and I say the courts are absolutely corrupt,
[01:46:39.740 --> 01:46:47.500] and anybody who's listened to me regularly will also note that I follow that by saying, well,
[01:46:47.500 --> 01:46:56.300] maybe they're not absolutely corrupt, but you must conduct yourself as if they are.
[01:46:56.300 --> 01:47:03.500] If you find a really honest judge, then you will be prepared to give him what he needs to rule in
[01:47:03.500 --> 01:47:10.620] your favor. If you get before a really corrupt judge or biased judge, you'll have what you need
[01:47:10.620 --> 01:47:20.460] to win in the court of appeals. With that said, there's another side to this, and it's exactly
[01:47:20.460 --> 01:47:26.780] what Steve was saying before we went in. You have to give the judge facts he can use. We had a woman
[01:47:26.780 --> 01:47:34.780] go into a bankruptcy hearing in Fort Worth, and we had schooled her, and she actually did what we
[01:47:34.780 --> 01:47:41.180] schooled her to do. She went into court, a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and she claimed the property is
[01:47:41.180 --> 01:47:48.140] unsecured. Lawyers came in, and they're claiming they have a position, and they had a big stack of
[01:47:48.140 --> 01:47:55.980] paper, and the client said, Your Honor, I don't know what those papers they have there are. I would
[01:47:55.980 --> 01:48:01.980] like to see them. So the judge said, show them to her, and she took them, and there was a copy of
[01:48:01.980 --> 01:48:06.620] the note and due to trust in that, and she said, Your Honor, I don't know what these are. I've
[01:48:06.620 --> 01:48:12.940] never seen these before. Well, isn't that your signature on it? No, Your Honor, I never signed
[01:48:12.940 --> 01:48:22.060] these documents. I have never seen these documents before. She sent the judge ground on her for 10
[01:48:22.060 --> 01:48:26.380] minutes, and she never backed up. Well, she had never seen those documents before.
[01:48:26.380 --> 01:48:32.700] They were copies. Somebody made these copies up, and she don't know if they're
[01:48:33.660 --> 01:48:38.940] actual copies of what she actually signed. She don't know anything about these documents.
[01:48:39.500 --> 01:48:43.660] She said he ground on it for 10 minutes, and finally he sat back and smiled and
[01:48:44.300 --> 01:48:53.340] looked over at counsel and says, Well, counsel, it seems that the defendant here has never seen
[01:48:53.340 --> 01:49:00.940] those documents. So you have two weeks to come back into my court with the original note in
[01:49:00.940 --> 01:49:08.460] deed of trust and a complete chain of title. Appel Carpenter V. Longan. Good for him. Exactly.
[01:49:09.980 --> 01:49:16.460] When we started this, we were sure that we would get ruled against out of hand at every turn,
[01:49:16.460 --> 01:49:24.940] and we did. But we were also certain that this crash was going to deepen, and that sleeping
[01:49:24.940 --> 01:49:29.020] giant we call we, the people was going to wake up, and he was going to be real unhappy.
[01:49:30.380 --> 01:49:37.820] And in time, the worm would turn. And that is exactly what we're seeing happening.
[01:49:39.420 --> 01:49:44.700] You remember, Steve, when we first started doing this radio, people would call in and talk about
[01:49:44.700 --> 01:49:53.180] those who were asleep and those who were awake and sheeple. I haven't heard those
[01:49:53.180 --> 01:49:58.940] terms in two years. I haven't either. If you're not awake now, you're in a coma.
[01:50:00.700 --> 01:50:04.700] If you're not awake now, you're never going to wake up. The public's awake,
[01:50:05.420 --> 01:50:11.660] and the courts are changing. It's very, very hard to get the courts to change,
[01:50:11.660 --> 01:50:20.380] and it should be very hard. That way, our law remains relatively consistent.
[01:50:21.420 --> 01:50:25.740] Okay, we're not always happy with it, but it's consistent, at least it's consistent.
[01:50:25.740 --> 01:50:32.780] It's changing in our favor. And the judges have heard these arguments enough times
[01:50:32.780 --> 01:50:37.900] that it's beginning to sink in. And we're getting better at presenting them.
[01:50:37.900 --> 01:50:48.060] It's worth the fight. It is absolutely worth the fight just for your own personal integrity
[01:50:48.060 --> 01:50:55.340] and the liberty you gain from knowing how to fight these people. Now, when I go to court,
[01:50:55.340 --> 01:50:59.740] I may lose, but when I get done, you're not ever going to want to go there with me again.
[01:51:01.340 --> 01:51:04.220] And that makes all this worth the trouble.
[01:51:04.220 --> 01:51:07.100] Well, Lee and Mark, let them know you've been there.
[01:51:07.660 --> 01:51:10.700] Right. And the more people we get going into these courts
[01:51:11.900 --> 01:51:17.020] and going in there effectively, we had a guy in New York. They had,
[01:51:19.420 --> 01:51:26.060] the other side, when he sued, didn't file a Rule 12 motion to dismiss.
[01:51:27.100 --> 01:51:32.460] Actually, this was a state case in New York because it's a non-judicial state.
[01:51:32.460 --> 01:51:39.740] So you're just a claim. Yeah. They didn't file it. They didn't make that filing.
[01:51:39.740 --> 01:51:46.860] So they went to discovery and then they subpoenaed him for a deposition while he went to the deposition.
[01:51:47.820 --> 01:51:53.020] And the lawyer just walked all over him. I got a recording of the deposition.
[01:51:54.460 --> 01:51:58.300] But he started out the first 10 minutes, identifying him and his brother.
[01:51:58.300 --> 01:52:03.900] He had recruited the property when his parents died, him and his brother got equal parts.
[01:52:03.900 --> 01:52:07.100] He moved into the property. His brother got a loan against the property
[01:52:07.980 --> 01:52:11.340] to pay off his half and he was paying the brother back.
[01:52:12.540 --> 01:52:18.060] So the lawyer asked him, did you ever secure a loan against this property? Nope, never did.
[01:52:19.980 --> 01:52:23.260] Did you ever pay a loan against it? There was a long pause.
[01:52:23.260 --> 01:52:30.300] Because clearly the lawyer was taking it back. Well, did you ever pay a loan on this property?
[01:52:30.300 --> 01:52:36.860] Nope, never did. It was over. At that point, it was over.
[01:52:38.300 --> 01:52:43.900] What the lawyer didn't know when he went in the door was this guy was paying his brother.
[01:52:43.900 --> 01:52:46.620] His brother took out the loan. He had the wrong guy.
[01:52:46.620 --> 01:52:52.780] But he held him in there for two and a half hours and just
[01:52:53.660 --> 01:52:59.180] he asked a question and the guy started to object and the lawyer just told him,
[01:52:59.180 --> 01:53:03.100] just answer the question. Oh, bad mistake.
[01:53:04.940 --> 01:53:14.380] So we filed a motion to strike the pleadings because the lawyer mistreated him as a procé.
[01:53:14.380 --> 01:53:20.780] He asked leading questions. He asked questions, formulated an answer and then suggested the answer
[01:53:20.780 --> 01:53:29.180] to him. He badgered him and just on and on as we moved at the strike of the deposition
[01:53:30.380 --> 01:53:35.420] or in the alternative grant a 60-day continuous so that he has time
[01:53:35.420 --> 01:53:45.340] to have the transcripts examined by a council. They went into court and he handed them the
[01:53:45.340 --> 01:53:53.980] motion the day of court. No lead time. Right. So they go into court and we're pretty well
[01:53:53.980 --> 01:54:03.020] figuring he's going to get clobbered. They go into court. The judge grants his motion to strike
[01:54:03.020 --> 01:54:12.620] the deposition, gives him a 60-day continuous and gives the lawyer two weeks to bring evidence of
[01:54:12.620 --> 01:54:22.300] agency, standing and capacity. Oh, that's a Pastor Mass had told me you need to lay down for this one.
[01:54:24.700 --> 01:54:31.980] He got more than he asked for. Sounds like that tells me this tide is turning. We've had
[01:54:31.980 --> 01:54:37.980] two or three of those here lately. Well, if this lawyer is anything like any of the other lawyers
[01:54:37.980 --> 01:54:43.580] that I'm running to, he's not going to be able to prove up an employment contract.
[01:54:44.700 --> 01:54:53.820] Yes. He's working for the debt collector, not for the principal. Precisely. That's why our first
[01:54:53.820 --> 01:55:04.940] suits four pages and we very carefully crafted it so it only states one issue. I don't know who
[01:55:04.940 --> 01:55:09.260] you are. I never entered into the contract with you. I never entered into the contract with your
[01:55:09.260 --> 01:55:16.140] principal. And what I say to people, and this came from, I did a show with Pastor Massad
[01:55:17.020 --> 01:55:22.220] and he was wanting me to move from Tuesday to Monday nights. And the Monday night guest was
[01:55:22.220 --> 01:55:34.220] his last show. And he said on that show, never stipulate to anything. I do a calling show on
[01:55:34.220 --> 01:55:39.900] Wednesday nights, a conference call, and I had some people on there last night and they had had a
[01:55:42.700 --> 01:55:48.380] notice of foreclosure sale. And they wanted to sue us. I said, okay, who do you sue? Well,
[01:55:48.380 --> 01:55:54.780] we sue this bank here. Well, why would you do that? Well, they're prosecuting the foreclosure.
[01:55:54.780 --> 01:56:00.460] How do you know that? Well, we got this letter. How do you know that letter was from the bank?
[01:56:01.900 --> 01:56:07.420] Well, it's got the bank's name on it. But how do you know somebody didn't just go get a document
[01:56:07.420 --> 01:56:17.180] with the bank's name on it and send it to you? What do you know? You know that you received
[01:56:17.180 --> 01:56:26.460] this document and it has somebody's signature on it. Now, he claims that he's working for this bank
[01:56:26.460 --> 01:56:35.420] or collecting for this principle, but you don't know if he is or not. All you know is you have
[01:56:35.420 --> 01:56:41.180] this document. So we make that claim. We don't know who you are to prove up your position.
[01:56:41.180 --> 01:56:44.780] Well, they're going to come back with the Rule 12 motion for dismiss, for a failure state claim,
[01:56:44.780 --> 01:56:49.260] which never came to hand. And in the meantime, we're going to get all the documents in the
[01:56:49.260 --> 01:56:54.620] county record. We're going to go through them in the fine tooth comb. We got our first Rule 12
[01:56:54.620 --> 01:57:01.180] motion thrown out just a few weeks ago. And we got this guy a couple of days before an eviction
[01:57:01.180 --> 01:57:09.660] hearing. And we filed a suit in a removal. They remanded the removal. The other side filed a
[01:57:09.660 --> 01:57:17.100] motion to dismiss. And we came back with an opposition to the motion to dismiss and said,
[01:57:17.100 --> 01:57:24.540] well, your honor, we have this huge suit filed against whoever is the true holder in the courts.
[01:57:25.260 --> 01:57:29.260] This is such a big suit. We felt like it'd be improper to file against a wrong person.
[01:57:29.260 --> 01:57:35.580] And we don't know who this guy is. And we don't believe he has agency. And here are the reasons
[01:57:35.580 --> 01:57:44.060] for this. Because of this, this, this, this, this 17 pages. And I know what the lawyers
[01:57:44.060 --> 01:57:52.380] on the other side said. That was dirty rascals. They bushwhacked us. Oh, well. Yeah, the better
[01:57:52.380 --> 01:57:59.900] fact we did. And there was enough facts. And that's it. We've got to have good hard facts.
[01:57:59.900 --> 01:58:07.660] What's in the county record cannot be argued with in Ted Tutor's notice on. And I'm definitely
[01:58:07.660 --> 01:58:14.300] going to talk to Steve after the show about using private investigators because the courts
[01:58:14.300 --> 01:58:22.060] consider those part of their end in group. You want to give us your contact information, Steve?
[01:58:22.060 --> 01:58:31.580] Uh, sure. Yeah. You can reach me by email at Steve sdve.fdt. That's for closure,
[01:58:31.580 --> 01:58:46.060] defensive taxes, fdt at gmail.com. I can be reached at, well, I can be reached at 512-761-1007.
