[02:13.000 --> 02:26.000]  Doris Ann Gamble at a 21-page rap sheet. She'd been arrested in connection with a homicide, got to jail nine times, and used at least 25 aliases.
[02:26.000 --> 02:34.000]  At 82, you'd think Gamble might retire, but no. Police recently busted her for burglarizing eight doctor's offices in California.
[02:34.000 --> 02:43.000]  The frail elderly woman would hide in the doctor's offices after being seen. When the staff went home, she'd raid the cash boxes, netting over 17 grand.
[02:43.000 --> 02:49.000]  At her sentencing, she told detectives she wouldn't do all this nonsense if the government gave us more money.
[02:49.000 --> 02:53.000]  Then she asked the court for donations to buy snacks in jail.

[03:56.000 --> 04:05.000]  This show basically deals with people that have traffic tickets, misdemeanor due process issues, court appearance issues, things of that nature.
[04:05.000 --> 04:10.000]  If we have any first-time listeners out there, you'll know what we're talking about and why.
[04:10.000 --> 04:17.000]  That being said, we do have a caller up on the board, and this is actually someone that we know.

[04:35.000 --> 04:45.000]  While that's going on, there was something I was looking at earlier out of the Texas government code, section 21.002, dealing with contempt of court.
[04:45.000 --> 04:51.000]  And real quick, I would like for you folks to listen to what the powers of the court are regarding contempt of court.
[04:51.000 --> 04:57.000]  And because of that, we need to be aware how and when they can inflict it and what they can do to us when they do it.
[04:57.000 --> 05:05.000]  Contempt of court, subsection A, except as provided by subsection G, a court may not punish for contempt.
[05:05.000 --> 05:16.000]  Subsection B, the punishment for contempt of a court other than a justice court or municipal court is a fine of not more or may punish, I'm sorry, may punish for contempt,
[05:16.000 --> 05:25.000]  is a fine of not more than $500 or confinement in the county jail for not more than six months or both such a fine and confinement in jail.
[05:25.000 --> 05:39.000]  Subsection C, the punishment for contempt of a justice court or municipal court is a fine of not more than $100 or confinement in the county or city jail for not more than three days or both such a fine and confinement in jail.
[05:39.000 --> 05:53.000]  Subsection D, an officer of a court who is held to contempt by a trial court shall, on proper motion filed in the offended court, be released on his own personal recognizance pending a determination of his guilt or innocence.
[05:53.000 --> 06:02.000]  Now, dig that, an officer of the court gets a determination as to whether or not they're guilty before they throw them in jail.
[06:02.000 --> 06:04.000]  Everybody else, they get to just throw in jail.
[06:04.000 --> 06:19.000]  The presiding judge of the administrative judicial region in which the alleged contempt occurred shall assign a judge who is subject to assignment by the presiding judge other than the judge of the offended court to determine the guilt or innocence of the officer of the court.
[06:19.000 --> 06:29.000]  Subsection E, accept as provided by subsection H, this section does not affect the court's power to confine a contender to compel the contender to obey a court order.
[06:29.000 --> 06:44.000]  Subsection F, Article 42.033, Code of Criminal Procedure in Chapter 157 Family Code, apply when a person is punished by confinement for contempt of court for disobedience of a court order to make periodic payments for the support of a child.
[06:44.000 --> 06:49.000]  Subsection H does not apply to that person.
[06:49.000 --> 06:59.000]  Subsection G, a court may not punish by contempt an employee or an agency or institution of this state for failure to initiate any program or to perform a statutory duty related to that program.
[06:59.000 --> 07:11.000]  One, if the legislature has not specifically and adequately funded the program, or two, until a reasonable time is passed to allow implementation of a program specifically and adequately funded by the legislature.
[07:11.000 --> 07:27.000]  Subsection H, notwithstanding any other law, a person may not be confined for contempt of court longer than one, 18 months including three or more periods of confinement for contempt arising out of the same manner that equal a cumulative total of 18 months if the
[07:27.000 --> 07:41.000]  confinement is for criminal contempt, or two, the lesser of 18 months or the period from the date of confinement to the date the person complies with the court order that was the basis of the finding of contempt if the confinement is for civil contempt.
[07:41.000 --> 07:54.000]  So notice, right off the bat they can throw you in jail for contempt and not have to put you, you know, make a determination of whether or not you're guilty unless you're an officer of the court.
[07:54.000 --> 08:04.000]  Which means basically they can't throw other judges or other attorneys in jail for contempt unless they get a chance to prove whether they're guilty or innocent.
[08:04.000 --> 08:06.000]  But the rest of us, they can do that.
[08:06.000 --> 08:10.000]  Somehow or other, I thought we fought a war to prevent all that, but here we are again.
[08:10.000 --> 08:11.000]  All right.
[08:11.000 --> 08:12.000]  Aaron's back up on the board.

[08:20.000 --> 08:44.000]  Well, I received a citation recently and so I went about my normal business of preparing motions for clarification and nature and cause and went about my obligations of preparing motions to dismiss based on no complaint and no information and all those things.
[08:44.000 --> 08:57.000]  And lo and behold, if this officer did not file a bona fide, verified criminal complaint against me that is in the record of the court for a speeding ticket.
[08:57.000 --> 08:59.000]  So that's surprise number one.
[08:59.000 --> 09:01.000]  Did they mail you a copy?
[09:01.000 --> 09:03.000]  They did not mail me a copy.
[09:03.000 --> 09:10.000]  However, I was given one whenever I went to a preliminary hearing without any resistance at all.
[09:10.000 --> 09:14.000]  Okay, well, the thing is, is that's a day late and a dollar short.
[09:14.000 --> 09:22.000]  45.018B says that that complaint has to be in your hands no later one day prior to any proceeding in the prosecution under that complaint.
[09:22.000 --> 09:24.000]  So notice was not timely.
[09:24.000 --> 09:26.000]  I hope you objected.
[09:26.000 --> 09:31.000]  Well, there was, I did not object in the hearing.
[09:31.000 --> 09:33.000]  However, it was so informal.
[09:33.000 --> 09:37.000]  It was ex parte the prosecuting attorney for the state wasn't even in the room.
[09:37.000 --> 09:39.000]  So who served you as a complaint?
[09:39.000 --> 09:45.000]  Well, they forced me to sit with the prosecuting attorney before walking in there.
[09:45.000 --> 09:57.000]  I didn't say anything except can I see the copy and and I'm not going to sign that when she handed me something trying to get me to sign it and proceeded to go in to see the judge after that.
[09:57.000 --> 10:03.000]  But that's that's where I actually got the copy was directly from prosecuting attorney prior to walking into the room.
[10:03.000 --> 10:05.000]  Okay, that's still a day late and a dollar short.
[10:05.000 --> 10:08.000]  It is still a day late and a dollar short.
[10:08.000 --> 10:18.000]  Okay, the problem is you may have waived the right of notice by going in there and not reserving it and objecting to being presented with that on the day of trial.
[10:18.000 --> 10:21.000]  What was the citation you said was for speeding?
[10:21.000 --> 10:22.000]  That was a citation.
[10:22.000 --> 10:23.000]  Yes.
[10:23.000 --> 10:24.000]  Okay.
[10:24.000 --> 10:27.000]  So what are you going to do about it?
[10:27.000 --> 10:32.000]  Well, I've got two things that I'm well three things that I'm looking at.
[10:32.000 --> 10:34.000]  Number one is there's no information.
[10:34.000 --> 10:36.000]  So that's an automatic easy.
[10:36.000 --> 10:48.000]  The second thing is there is the speeding zone, I guess, with a speed limit is set by an ordinance.
[10:48.000 --> 10:51.000]  I looked it all up and found the ordinance.
[10:51.000 --> 11:03.000]  There's actually two ordinances that are conflicting, but I don't think that assists me because I mean, I guess they're both slower than I was going.
[11:03.000 --> 11:09.000]  So, and they're both the same speed in that area where I was going.
[11:09.000 --> 11:19.000]  So while they're conflicting in some areas of the road and they are conflicting ordinances overall, they're not conflicting over the actual merit area that I was going.
[11:19.000 --> 11:21.000]  So that's one thing.
[11:21.000 --> 11:28.000]  So I can challenge the actual speed limit by subpoenaing, I suppose, some information from somebody.
[11:28.000 --> 11:35.000]  And this is actually one of the things that I was wondering is I know that traffic studies required in order to establish a speed limit.
[11:35.000 --> 11:41.000]  So I would want to subpoena any records of a traffic study, but I'm not, I haven't done a subpoena before.
[11:41.000 --> 11:43.000]  I'm not sure how to go about that.
[11:43.000 --> 11:44.000]  Okay.
[11:44.000 --> 11:51.000]  First off, what is the rule of thumb regarding any of these cases?
[11:51.000 --> 11:55.000]  What do we not ever address?
[11:55.000 --> 11:56.000]  Merits.
[11:56.000 --> 11:57.000]  Right.
[11:57.000 --> 12:02.000]  So how is arguing over the speed limit not merits?
[12:02.000 --> 12:07.000]  It's more, I've got my argument on the information.
[12:07.000 --> 12:11.000]  However, they've already set a trial date and it's coming in.
[12:11.000 --> 12:14.000]  So I would like a backup argument if possible.
[12:14.000 --> 12:16.000]  Is that not the way to go?
[12:16.000 --> 12:18.000]  Well, I don't know what you mean by backup argument.
[12:18.000 --> 12:20.000]  The proper argument is the proper argument.
[12:20.000 --> 12:23.000]  There needs no backup.
[12:23.000 --> 12:28.000]  If you don't make the proper argument, you won't ever stand a chance on appeal.
[12:28.000 --> 12:30.000]  That's the whole point.
[12:30.000 --> 12:37.000]  We don't go into trials expecting to win because the entire court's a kangaroo court designed specifically to perform a railroad job.
[12:37.000 --> 12:41.000]  We don't go in there with the expectation of winning a trial.
[12:41.000 --> 12:57.000]  What we go in there to do is to preserve the violations by documenting them, preserve the argument of not in transportation by documenting it, and rebutting any assertion by the state that we were engaging in transportation.
[12:57.000 --> 13:03.000]  Thus, the speed limit actually applied because it only applies to those in transportation.
[13:03.000 --> 13:11.000]  201.904, Texas Transportation Code, doesn't matter whether the speed is set by state, law, or city ordinance.
[13:11.000 --> 13:14.000]  Makes no difference whatsoever.
[13:14.000 --> 13:18.000]  The speed limits in the city ordinance is especially if it's here in Austin fall under Title XII.
[13:18.000 --> 13:26.000]  Title XII specifically says it only is meant to regulate government-owned and operated vehicles.
[13:26.000 --> 13:34.000]  So again, why is the proper argument not the proper argument in such a way that you would need a backup?
[13:34.000 --> 13:39.000]  Well, I haven't looked into the Title XII argument, so I guess I need to do that.
[13:39.000 --> 13:55.000]  Yeah, Austin City Ordinance is Title XII, and it'll tell you right there in the very first section, I think it's like Section 1-3 or something, it tells you that this title applies to government-owned and operated vehicles, and it doesn't list anything else.
[13:55.000 --> 13:56.000]  Okay.
[13:56.000 --> 13:57.000]  All right.
[13:57.000 --> 13:58.000]  I can do that.
[13:58.000 --> 14:10.000]  Yeah, the point of it is, is that speed limits are reserved for commercial motor vehicles and their operators, which we are not.
[14:10.000 --> 14:18.000]  The proper argument shall never be anything other than not in transportation.
[14:18.000 --> 14:20.000]  Not, how fast was it?
[14:20.000 --> 14:21.000]  What was it set to?
[14:21.000 --> 14:22.000]  Did you do a study?
[14:22.000 --> 14:24.000]  Because that's going to merits.
[14:24.000 --> 14:36.000]  If you address merits, then you're allowing yourself to be drawn into the realm of in transportation rather than not in transportation.
[14:36.000 --> 14:37.000]  Got it?
[14:37.000 --> 14:38.000]  Got it.
[14:38.000 --> 14:40.000]  That's why we don't address the merits of it.
[14:40.000 --> 14:42.000]  Merits only apply to those that are subject to it.
[14:42.000 --> 14:50.000]  It has nothing to do with anyone else.
[14:50.000 --> 15:03.000]  So the first thing I would recommend doing is filing a motion objecting to service of the complaint as untimely, improper, and in violation of 45.018B.
[15:03.000 --> 15:07.000]  It deprives you of your right of notice.
[15:07.000 --> 15:09.000]  Don't ever relinquish that argument.
[15:09.000 --> 15:14.000]  Hopefully they will overlook the fact that you didn't raise an oral objection.

[20:14.000 --> 20:20.000]  And the transportation code says that you have a right to request a hearing.
[20:20.000 --> 20:24.000]  And the hearing is a probable cause hearing.
[20:24.000 --> 20:29.000]  As to whether or not the tow company had probable cause to tow your car.
[20:29.000 --> 20:35.000]  Now, I argue that this circumvents the Texas Constitution
[20:35.000 --> 20:39.000]  and that there had to be probable cause before they took your property.
[20:39.000 --> 20:45.000]  Well, the thing about it is probable cause relates to a criminal action.
[20:45.000 --> 20:48.000]  Probable cause isn't something that relates to a civil suit.
[20:48.000 --> 20:51.000]  It relates to criminal.
[20:51.000 --> 20:59.000]  So where does probable cause attach in a non-consensual tow?
[20:59.000 --> 21:07.000]  That's a good question because the judge specifically calls it a probable cause hearing.
[21:07.000 --> 21:10.000]  Well, we need to find out what that actually means.
[21:10.000 --> 21:17.000]  But the transportation code specifically limits their ability to tow without consent to commercial vehicles.
[21:17.000 --> 21:25.000]  So that's the only thing the transportation code could authorize.
[21:25.000 --> 21:34.000]  That just adds to my fight against these towing companies, especially the one that towed my daughter's car.
[21:34.000 --> 21:38.000]  Yeah, well, I mean, that's just the common sense approach to it.
[21:38.000 --> 21:45.000]  It's either they have the authority to tow you because you subjected yourself to the rules or they don't.
[21:45.000 --> 21:53.000]  In this case, if you're a commercial motor vehicle operator with a commercial motor vehicle and you're declared out of service
[21:53.000 --> 22:00.000]  or you use that vehicle to commit a crime or something of that, then they can order the thing and pound it.
[22:00.000 --> 22:11.000]  But a tow company that walks up and takes private property without the consent of the owner, that's a whole nother problem.
[22:11.000 --> 22:22.000]  Plus the fact that the law is very specific in Texas on where these notice of tow signs and the methods that they have to be implemented under
[22:22.000 --> 22:28.000]  and what they must read, all that's very well spelled out in the code.
[22:28.000 --> 22:38.000]  If the markings in the place where the cars were towed from also is improper, then the tow is improper.
[22:38.000 --> 22:48.000]  So there's all kinds of ways to go at this, but the fact remains that the transportation code is the authority to tow without consent.
[22:48.000 --> 22:54.000]  Therefore, by necessity, it can only limit it to those engaging in transportation.
[22:54.000 --> 23:02.000]  I don't know why I hadn't put that two and two together that way, but my mind had not wrapped around it to that aspect and said,
[23:02.000 --> 23:06.000]  okay, if you're just not in transportation, then they don't have the authority.
[23:06.000 --> 23:07.000]  That's correct.
[23:07.000 --> 23:11.000]  Without your consent, they can't just up and tow your car.
[23:11.000 --> 23:19.000]  Now, trying to argue this to a justice of the peace as the plaintiff.
[23:19.000 --> 23:25.000]  You're not a plaintiff, you're still a defendant, that's why it's a probable cause.
[23:25.000 --> 23:27.000]  Well, they list you as the plaintiff.
[23:27.000 --> 23:31.000]  I guess that's why I keep calling it the plaintiff because they list you as the plaintiff.
[23:31.000 --> 23:35.000]  Well, that's kind of bad sacrosan way it ought to be, but all right.
[23:35.000 --> 23:42.000]  If they're granting you that as the plaintiff, then that would be what I would attack.
[23:42.000 --> 23:48.000]  I would get the tow truck driver on the stand and ask him all of those things regarding transportation code.
[23:48.000 --> 23:58.000]  Eddie, I think the reason they're listing Chris as the plaintiff is because he went down to file a lawsuit against this tow truck driver,
[23:58.000 --> 24:04.000]  and then the clerk at the court said, oh no, this isn't a matter to file a lawsuit over.
[24:04.000 --> 24:10.000]  You need to do this other thing to have some kind of other type of hearing under the transportation code.
[24:10.000 --> 24:14.000]  Yeah, exhaust administrative remedies before you file a suit.
[24:14.000 --> 24:18.000]  And see, that's the whole thing right there, that is your first clue.
[24:18.000 --> 24:20.000]  Administrative remedies.
[24:20.000 --> 24:24.000]  Who is subject to administrative remedies?
[24:24.000 --> 24:32.000]  Someone that works for the entity that made the rules and regulations that need administrating, right?
[24:32.000 --> 24:34.000]  Right.
[24:34.000 --> 24:42.000]  Well, and the whole thing doesn't make any sense anyway about the administrative anything because this happened on private property.
[24:42.000 --> 24:52.000]  This wasn't the result of him being on a public thoroughfare in any way, shape, or form, or his daughter, his stepdaughter,

[26:37.000 --> 26:44.000]  She was in her private property when she was at this apartment complex, which was also on private property.

[28:09.000 --> 28:28.000]  Yeah, because they have a, we found a very incentive for them to do this and that is that they have to have a host seller's license to steal cars, dealership, because once they, if somebody doesn't come pick up their car, then they have a right to auction it off at this point.
[28:28.000 --> 28:39.000]  Well, I know from knowing a guy that had a dealership that was a host seller, you have to have a host seller's license with the state to host their cars at an auction.
[28:39.000 --> 28:45.000]  So they have to have this license to auction the cars if they don't get picked up.
[28:45.000 --> 28:51.000]  So now they got an incentive to steal any car that they run and does not have a lien against it.
[28:51.000 --> 28:52.000]  Well, yeah.

[33:19.000 --> 33:25.000]  or appear in the State of Oklahoma anytime they set a court date.
[33:25.000 --> 33:29.000]  Well, you have to play the game according to the rules of State of Oklahoma
[33:29.000 --> 33:34.000]  as far as what you do, but for the most part, the due process requirements
[33:34.000 --> 33:38.000]  don't change border by border. They're the same everywhere.
[33:38.000 --> 33:44.000]  Okay. I noticed that the laws, the traffic or transportation laws, the commercial laws
[33:44.000 --> 33:49.000]  are virtually identical to Texas and the definitions.
[33:49.000 --> 33:56.000]  And my second question is, if the court date or the appearance date
[33:56.000 --> 34:06.000]  has passed as the individual at a lock to defend themselves?
[34:06.000 --> 34:10.000]  Well, that all depends on how Oklahoma has set these tickets up,
[34:10.000 --> 34:13.000]  whether they've made them civil, criminal or administrative.
[34:13.000 --> 34:17.000]  They're in municipal administrative.
[34:17.000 --> 34:20.000]  Okay. But are they trying to say that they're criminal,
[34:20.000 --> 34:22.000]  even though they're in an administrative court?
[34:22.000 --> 34:24.000]  They do that here. We know they're administrative,
[34:24.000 --> 34:27.000]  but they still try to say they're criminal and they're not.
[34:27.000 --> 34:29.000]  Right. Okay.
[34:29.000 --> 34:36.000]  I sent a certified letter with a Freedom of Information request with the Oklahoma.
[34:36.000 --> 34:38.000]  By the way, if anybody's listening in Oklahoma,
[34:38.000 --> 34:50.000]  that's the Oklahoma Open Records Act 51, Statute 24A.1, similar to Texas.
[34:50.000 --> 34:56.000]  And so I'm asking for any all information, just like you've said before,
[34:56.000 --> 35:01.000]  and it's like I've done with tickets here in Texas and I've been successful in Texas
[35:01.000 --> 35:04.000]  and usually I just get a response back that says,
[35:04.000 --> 35:10.000]  hey, we're dropping the ticket by the offense because there's a lack of evidence.
[35:10.000 --> 35:12.000]  They don't even want to mess with me.
[35:12.000 --> 35:17.000]  Yeah. Well, hopefully, you know, the information we've given out has been useful for that.
[35:17.000 --> 35:26.000]  So would you recommend, is it even plausible to do out of state
[35:26.000 --> 35:31.000]  or just we just have to roll over and pay these?
[35:31.000 --> 35:37.000]  No, it's possible, but again, it all depends on whether or not you're able to go back and forth to do that.

[36:20.000 --> 36:28.000]  And it doesn't matter where there's the traffic tickets, property taxes, toll roads, imminent domain.
[36:28.000 --> 36:34.000]  It doesn't matter. This principle applies across the board.
[36:34.000 --> 36:41.000]  A long time ago, there was this Chinese gentleman who knew he was about to die.
[36:41.000 --> 36:50.000]  So he basically got his affairs in order, and he called together his sons, of which he had seven.
[36:50.000 --> 37:00.000]  And when he called them together, he handed the eldest son a bundle of seven sticks tied together on each end with a strong ribbon.
[37:00.000 --> 37:09.000]  He said, now, what I would like for you to do is take this bundle of seven sticks, and I would like for you to break them.
[37:09.000 --> 37:15.000]  Well, try as he might, and as hard as he could, the eldest son just could not break that bundle of seven sticks.
[37:15.000 --> 37:21.000]  Each one of them is about as big around as my little finger or so, about twice the size of a pencil, maybe.
[37:21.000 --> 37:29.000]  So the father says, hand it to your next brother, and this is the way it progressed all the way down the line of all seven sons.
[37:29.000 --> 37:34.000]  Each one worked and strained and stressed to try to break the bundle of sticks, and nobody was successful.
[37:34.000 --> 37:47.000]  So at the end, the father takes from the youngest of the seven sons, and he says, you've all tried to destroy this bundle as I've requested while it was together.
[37:47.000 --> 37:54.000]  Now let me show you. He takes the ribbons off and breaks each of the seven sticks individually.
[37:54.000 --> 38:05.000]  And he said, now, that is the difference between being strong by being together versus standing alone as individuals.
[38:05.000 --> 38:10.000]  Together, you will be impossible to break or defeat.
[38:10.000 --> 38:15.000]  Individually, you can be broken, and you will be broken.
[38:15.000 --> 38:21.000]  That, folks, is exactly the philosophy the Patriot community needs to understand.
[38:21.000 --> 38:26.000]  We need to stop having opposing goals and get unified in one direction.
[38:26.000 --> 38:34.000]  I know there are all kinds of issues. Believe me, there are all kinds of issues.
[38:34.000 --> 38:46.000]  But do we want to change the issue, or do we want to change the atmosphere in which the issue got created to begin with?
[38:46.000 --> 38:57.000]  If the atmosphere and the people in it are incapable of making these types of things, then none of these issues exist, right?
[38:57.000 --> 39:08.000]  So where does the solution lie? Fighting the individual issue or fighting the powers that be that created all this multitude of individual issues?
[39:08.000 --> 39:19.000]  We have a legislature that will not listen to the voice of the people, nor will it act in their own behalf and interest, even when the people are wrong in what they're asking for.
[39:19.000 --> 39:28.000]  Now don't misunderstand me. I'm not saying the legislature should just outright disobey the people for its own agenda, not saying that at all.
[39:28.000 --> 39:47.000]  What I'm saying is that the first thing the legislature is required to do is, does this thing that we want to make this law for violate any part of the Texas Constitution, including, and most importantly, the Bill of Rights?
[39:47.000 --> 39:58.000]  If it does, then it does not matter how many of the people want it, the legislature is forbidden to enact it.
[39:58.000 --> 40:09.000]  If we get legislators that will bind themselves to honestly following the Constitution of Texas, and I'm not going to say of this state,
[40:09.000 --> 40:18.000]  but the Texas Constitution, the real one, the proper one, then we don't have these multitude of issues.
[40:18.000 --> 40:37.000]  These issues are created outside of constitutional authority by a legislature that is operating outside of constitutional authority by a judiciary that fails to recognize the legislature is out acting outside of constitutional authority.
[40:37.000 --> 40:52.000]  So what should we be changing, arguing over these individual issues, or should we be wiping our hands of these so-called representatives that don't represent us or our Constitution in any way?
[40:52.000 --> 40:59.000]  These people give great lip service to this, and they do absolutely nothing.
[40:59.000 --> 41:11.000]  So let me take you something here. I posted on the Tau of Law website, and I've only got one comment on it so far, or at least one like on it, but I'm going to read it to you.
[41:11.000 --> 41:22.000]  What you feel only matters to you. It's what you do to the people you say you love that matters to everyone else, especially them.
[41:22.000 --> 41:32.000]  Love and caring is never about words alone. Words only have real value when they are accompanied by appropriate action.
[41:32.000 --> 41:45.000]  There are far too many sayers and not enough doers in this world. As for me, I would always rather be a cheerful and willing doer who is willing to also say it and mean it.
[41:45.000 --> 41:55.000]  Now, the love I'm talking about isn't just one for a girlfriend or boyfriend or spouse or whatever. It's love of our nation.
[41:55.000 --> 42:03.000]  It's love of Texas. It's love of our rights. It's love of our fellow man in the interest of those rights.
[42:03.000 --> 42:20.000]  What good does it say you do for anyone to say, I care about what happens to my country and I care about what happens to Texas, but then they will sit back and do absolutely nothing in a form of action to validate their words.
[42:20.000 --> 42:35.000]  See, that's the problem. We have too many talkers, not enough doers. We need doers. We need people that will stand together and make that conjoined bundle that cannot be broken.
[42:35.000 --> 42:49.000]  Stop squabbling over these individual itty-bitty issues because each and every one of them in and of themselves is a small part of the whole pie.
[42:49.000 --> 42:58.000]  We don't need to be fighting the pie. We need to be fighting the moron that made it and put it in the oven and baked it up the way it is.
[42:58.000 --> 43:05.000]  Okay, we go after the cook, not the pie.

The FBI and federal prosecutors insist that Tim McVeigh alone delivered the Ryder truck bomb to the Murray Building and detonated it.

[01:15:07.000 --> 01:15:19.000]  The whole purpose of the property tax was to collect revenue for budget of bills that the legislature needed funding for.
[01:15:19.000 --> 01:15:34.000]  If you wanted to vote yes for some legislative enactment that required extra funding, then you had to supply that funding yourself to vote yes.
[01:15:34.000 --> 01:15:47.000]  You did that by rendering some portion of your lands to the state for the purpose of taxation.
[01:15:47.000 --> 01:15:55.000]  And you were taxed accordingly to the funding necessary for the bill and the amount of property you put up and the tax rate they said it would be.
[01:15:55.000 --> 01:15:57.000]  And here was the deal.
[01:15:57.000 --> 01:16:05.000]  If the enactment didn't pass because it couldn't get funding, then your property had to be taken off of the tax rolls.
[01:16:05.000 --> 01:16:11.000]  It couldn't be kept on so that they could then take money from you to fund some different project.
[01:16:11.000 --> 01:16:12.000]  Okay?
[01:16:12.000 --> 01:16:19.000]  They were only allowed to take the money that you agreed to spend for the project you wanted to support.
[01:16:19.000 --> 01:16:26.000]  They could not just tax you and then spend it however they wanted.
