[05:49.740 --> 05:58.740]  And from what I do hear tell from seeing videos of y'all on the internet, the tickets have been dismissed
[05:58.740 --> 06:04.740]  It's a great victory for free speech and for liberties
[06:04.740 --> 06:09.740]  And this basic human rights and dignity is definitely a victory because like you said
[06:09.740 --> 06:15.740]  The regulation was meant for, the citation was meant for regulation of commerce, definitely

[06:20.740 --> 06:26.740]  Okay, it goes back to April 11th, we're out in the side of the Alamo in the courtyard

[06:29.740 --> 06:34.740]  We're unrolling a vinyl banner that we purchased off the architects and engineers from the Island of Truth website
[06:34.740 --> 06:39.740]  The same banner that we had at the actual convention that we had in March
[06:39.740 --> 06:43.740]  The architects and engineers seminar and conference
[06:43.740 --> 06:45.740]  It's that same big banner that we had there
[06:45.740 --> 06:49.740]  We actually, that was our first spin out on the streets with the banner
[06:49.740 --> 06:55.740]  And we rolled it out on the floor and we're putting a little pipe frame around the banner
[06:55.740 --> 07:00.740]  As Officer Maynes walked up and Officer Maynes was a park police officer
[07:00.740 --> 07:07.740]  Kind of like a spin off of the SAPD and their job is to dominate the park
[07:07.740 --> 07:13.740]  So the Alamo actually, on the Alamo grounds they have state troopers and around that they have the park police
[07:13.740 --> 07:18.740]  And so it was Officer Maynes with the park police that came up to us and told us we couldn't have a banner
[07:18.740 --> 07:23.740]  We asked him what law it was, he couldn't prove it and he was on the phone back and forth with somebody
[07:23.740 --> 07:28.740]  He tried to get us with an advertisement citation and that fell through because we're obviously not selling anything
[07:28.740 --> 07:32.740]  And it's all in the video, you see him literally trying to get us any way he can
[07:32.740 --> 07:36.740]  And he does finally get us our quote portable sign
[07:36.740 --> 07:40.740]  And we were on the show with you right after that and we did the research
[07:40.740 --> 07:44.740]  We looked up city code and it was definitely meant for regulation of commerce
[07:44.740 --> 07:48.740]  So we report to court on the appointed date that's on the ticket
[07:48.740 --> 07:51.740]  And nobody was there and we had to flee so we pleaded not guilty
[07:51.740 --> 07:57.740]  And then the actual jury trial court date was July 7th and we showed up in the courtroom
[07:57.740 --> 08:01.740]  The courtroom was empty, there was one officer on a laptop waiting for us outside of the courtroom
[08:01.740 --> 08:05.740]  And then there was a clerk on the opposite side of the room and we walked up to the clerk and she was like
[08:05.740 --> 08:10.740]  She looked at us dumbfounded like what are y'all doing in here and we're like we're here for court this morning ma'am
[08:10.740 --> 08:14.740]  And she was like your case was dismissed this morning
[08:14.740 --> 08:19.740]  I don't know how it can get dismissed before the actual court date but that was what happened when we walked in the courtroom
[08:19.740 --> 08:23.740]  And we asked where we get the paper to verify this and we got the documentation
[08:23.740 --> 08:28.740]  And that was pretty much the happy ending to this kind of sad story
[08:28.740 --> 08:34.740]  But it is definitely a happy ending and a victory for free speech
[08:34.740 --> 08:38.740]  Tell me it's not over yet
[08:38.740 --> 08:46.740]  Well we're going back out, well we are changing, we're going to go back out and keep passing out DVDs as soon as that happens
[08:46.740 --> 08:52.740]  Wait, wait, wait, that wasn't what I was talking about, you need to go down and file charges against the officer
[08:52.740 --> 08:59.740]  Well we're really glad that it's over with and what we are going to do is we have our dismissal papers that we're going to keep with us
[08:59.740 --> 09:02.740]  So in the future if any conflict does come and try this thing again
[09:02.740 --> 09:06.740]  We just plot that paper and say well look it was dismissed last time you tried this
[09:06.740 --> 09:12.740]  You want to go for round number two because obviously what we did was not illegal
[09:12.740 --> 09:18.740]  If he doesn't get any blowback they can do this to you as often as they want to
[09:18.740 --> 09:21.740]  I don't think he's going to because most of the cops are pretty good with this
[09:21.740 --> 09:25.740]  I mean most cops aren't like this with the group, like many of the cops take our DVDs
[09:25.740 --> 09:29.740]  But we have, I mean this guy did this and it was kind of like an unusual thing
[09:29.740 --> 09:33.740]  They know who we are, we go down there and they even wave at us and stuff
[09:33.740 --> 09:38.740]  You know what I mean, they're not really combating with us, this particular one was
[09:38.740 --> 09:46.740]  On that note, September 11th we were down in front of Alamo and the day before, September 10th
[09:46.740 --> 09:50.740]  We were out there again, you know we were out there two days in a row
[09:50.740 --> 09:55.740]  September 10th we were out down by the mall right on the river walk of San Antonio
[09:55.740 --> 09:58.740]  And we knew we couldn't use the megaphone but we went ahead and did
[09:58.740 --> 10:01.740]  And we were megaphoning in the mall outside of the mall on the river walk
[10:01.740 --> 10:05.740]  And officers came up to us and they saw we had two or three cameras that were recording
[10:05.740 --> 10:09.740]  And they let us go, you know, not even a warning, they just let us go
[10:09.740 --> 10:12.740]  The next day September 11th we're in front of Alamo handing out DVDs
[10:12.740 --> 10:14.740]  And we take a break and go step into the mall
[10:14.740 --> 10:18.740]  There's a gang of officers and they come up to us without us even doing anything
[10:18.740 --> 10:22.740]  They're like, hey, you guys those Info Wars and Prince of Planet guys, right?
[10:22.740 --> 10:23.740]  And we're just like, yeah
[10:23.740 --> 10:24.740]  And they're like, okay, okay
[10:24.740 --> 10:26.740]  And they're smiling, they're all like, well y'all keep it up
[10:26.740 --> 10:29.740]  And they walk off, so you know it's like Justice said
[10:29.740 --> 10:32.740]  Most officers we haven't had a problem with
[10:32.740 --> 10:36.740]  Unfortunately, it was this certain young guy with the devil tattoo on his forearm
[10:36.740 --> 10:38.740]  That started to take us on
[10:38.740 --> 10:42.740]  And you know what, and after this Pol Park Police incident, April 11th
[10:42.740 --> 10:45.740]  When we had a few weeks after that we had Jason Bermis come down to San Antonio
[10:45.740 --> 10:49.740]  And premiere Invisible Empire at a theater showing
[10:49.740 --> 10:53.740]  We actually had off-duty SAPD there come up to me and Jason Bermis
[10:53.740 --> 10:57.740]  And show us his badge and he let us know that most people on the force
[10:57.740 --> 10:59.740]  Know 9-11 was an inside job
[10:59.740 --> 11:03.740]  And they don't agree with what happened on April 11th with the Park Police
[11:08.740 --> 11:15.740]  It's good news to hear that we have policemen who are real human beings after all
[11:15.740 --> 11:23.740]  I think that in the end we'll find we have more allies on the police force than we realize
[11:23.740 --> 11:26.740]  Yeah, and I'm getting Skype chats from people that are saying that
[11:26.740 --> 11:32.740]  They're willing to help you draft documents to go after these rogue police
[11:32.740 --> 11:36.740]  If it happens again I would say, you know, do it
[11:36.740 --> 11:38.740]  But I really would be shocked if it did
[11:38.740 --> 11:40.740]  I really think that after all of this
[11:40.740 --> 11:42.740]  Because we're on YouTube, there's a lot of publicity
[11:42.740 --> 11:45.740]  I'm sure that Officer Mase watched all the YouTube clips, you know
[11:45.740 --> 11:47.740]  And I'm sure he saw himself on there
[11:47.740 --> 11:50.740]  And I'm sure they know that how we're going to respond in the future
[11:50.740 --> 11:53.740]  Like we really sent out the message just by what we did, you know
[11:53.740 --> 11:57.740]  They know that in the future if they don't know this what's going to happen
[11:57.740 --> 12:01.740]  That they're going to be on mute and 30,000 people are going to see their actions
[12:01.740 --> 12:07.740]  I'm wondering why did they decide to drop the charges in the first place if you guys
[12:07.740 --> 12:09.740]  The publicity
[12:09.740 --> 12:14.740]  And plus when we went in there I asked for a court reporter to transcript the whole entire trial
[12:14.740 --> 12:16.740]  And they agreed to do that
[12:16.740 --> 12:19.740]  So if it had gone to court it would have been a precedent-setting case
[12:19.740 --> 12:22.740]  And everything would have been in the records how they misapplied the statute
[12:22.740 --> 12:25.740]  It would have been like, you know, not supposed to be for them
[12:25.740 --> 12:28.740]  Supposedly all would have nailed the cops because he was still wrong
[12:28.740 --> 12:29.740]  You know, on the statute
[12:29.740 --> 12:36.740]  Right, but the potential of that is that knowing they were going to be walking into a blowback situation with you guys
[12:36.740 --> 12:40.740]  That would work fine for getting your case dismissed
[12:40.740 --> 12:42.740]  But without there being repercussions to them
[12:42.740 --> 12:50.740]  They're still free to do this to the next person down the line that doesn't have your availability to the public eye

[12:52.740 --> 12:56.740]  You know, if we were to go after anyone, the only one I'd go after was that cop
[12:56.740 --> 12:59.740]  And really I just feel like we should focus and move on and just try to look at more people

[24:14.740 --> 24:19.740]  We're sure that a few of these rogue officers wanted to have a crack at us

[24:22.740 --> 24:25.740]  And there's two officers, a female and a male one
[24:25.740 --> 24:28.740]  And the male one is the one that grabbed my arm and pushed us back
[24:28.740 --> 24:32.740]  Well that female officer that actually wrote Richard Rodey the ticket for solicitation
[24:32.740 --> 24:36.740]  I saw her on duty at Whole Foods and I confronted her
[24:36.740 --> 24:39.740]  After the video went on the internet of what happened
[24:39.740 --> 24:42.740]  And she was pretty hard headed about the whole thing
[24:42.740 --> 24:45.740]  And I tried to explain to her we weren't soliciting
[24:45.740 --> 24:48.740]  And she was like well your friend told me that this was his business
[24:48.740 --> 24:53.740]  I'm like really? We have his sign us his free DVDs we walk around with
[24:53.740 --> 24:56.740]  And so the next week at Whole Foods there was a different officer
[24:56.740 --> 24:58.740]  And it turns out one of the guys that works at Whole Foods
[24:58.740 --> 25:01.740]  Is a fellow Info Warrior and watches our videos
[25:01.740 --> 25:04.740]  And I hadn't met him before and he recognized me there at Whole Foods
[25:04.740 --> 25:06.740]  And he was like hey Matt do you have any DVDs on you?
[25:06.740 --> 25:09.740]  The officer that's on duty right now is really open to this information
[25:09.740 --> 25:11.740]  And wants to watch Obama Deception
[25:11.740 --> 25:14.740]  And luckily I always do ride around with a bunch of DVDs
[25:14.740 --> 25:18.740]  And I talked to that officer and he was like well you know that female officer is really hard headed
[25:18.740 --> 25:22.740]  She's a good person but she's really stubborn and tough
[25:22.740 --> 25:25.740]  So you know again it's not all officers that are licensed
[25:25.740 --> 25:29.740]  It's just these rogue ones who think they can actually abuse their authority

[56:34.740 --> 56:39.740]  And I made like three appearances or four appearances or five appearances or so

[56:40.740 --> 56:44.740]  But she just gave up
[56:44.740 --> 56:48.740]  She didn't want me to come after her because I just stood on the papers
[56:48.740 --> 56:50.740]  She thought I might come after her
[56:50.740 --> 56:55.740]  Even though I was just bluffing
[56:55.740 --> 57:02.740]  And I didn't know how to even do a grievance for a bar grievance or nothing
[57:02.740 --> 57:05.740]  But the prosecutor assumed that I knew what I was doing
[57:05.740 --> 57:12.740]  And she shut her mouth and she didn't open her mouth once through the whole thing
[57:12.740 --> 57:16.740]  Don't get confident that that will work in every case in every court
[57:16.740 --> 57:20.740]  Because I can almost absolutely guarantee you it will not
[57:20.740 --> 57:22.740]  I know. I got a tough guy here
[57:22.740 --> 57:25.740]  His name is, he used to be a friend of my family's
[57:25.740 --> 57:27.740]  And now I don't find him as a friend anymore
[57:27.740 --> 57:29.740]  Because he's really, really harsh on these people

[57:31.740 --> 57:39.740]  And I advised one of my friends to ask for a bill at the end of the thing
[57:39.740 --> 57:42.740]  When he pleaded guilty to a minor ticket exhaust
[57:42.740 --> 57:45.740]  And I said ask for a bill and see what happens
[57:45.740 --> 57:47.740]  Because this is a corporation
[57:47.740 --> 57:49.740]  And he wanted to itemize the bill
[57:49.740 --> 57:51.740]  And it shut the judge up
[57:51.740 --> 57:53.740]  It set him back in his chair
[57:53.740 --> 57:55.740]  And he didn't know what to do
[57:55.740 --> 57:58.740]  So he put it off to another day
[57:58.740 --> 58:02.740]  And I heard the music

[01:08:34.740 --> 01:08:44.740]  You mean people wouldn't be able to engage in commercial activity on the roadways from state to state because pretty much all transportation codes apply only to commercial activity, not to travelers
[01:08:44.740 --> 01:08:51.740]  Well, this doesn't just apply to transportation code, it also applies to penal code and the rest of the laws
[01:08:51.740 --> 01:09:04.740]  They want them somewhat similar or somewhat uniform so people going from one state to another can have a reasonable idea of when they're violating law and when they're not
[01:09:04.740 --> 01:09:11.740]  So you can expect them all to be pretty much the same with variations
[01:09:11.740 --> 01:09:18.740]  But read it, read it twice, read the penal code at least once, and you will be more prepared than the attorney is
[01:09:18.740 --> 01:09:26.740]  Great. Now, the reason why I didn't start reading stuff was because sometimes I read unnecessary stuff

[01:09:30.740 --> 01:09:44.740]  You want to read everything that deals with any part of the procedure that would relate from beginning to trial, and then you want to read anything that deals with a specific grade of offense

[01:20:53.740 --> 01:21:05.740]  And 93 tons of carbon monoxide, reportedly the equivalent production of about 200,000 cars running 24-7 for 40 days straight

[01:21:36.740 --> 01:21:45.740]  The decision was made to keep on making the gasoline and simply reroute the gases to a 300 foot flare
[01:21:45.740 --> 01:21:53.740]  Where they were burned into fine particles with propane and entered the atmosphere
[01:21:53.740 --> 01:22:04.740]  The unit kept earning $600,000 a day while that compressor was broken and toxins were released in staggering numbers
[01:22:04.740 --> 01:22:15.740]  The amount of toxins released was greater than that which occurred in the dihomphal tragedy of 1984
[01:22:15.740 --> 01:22:26.740]  And it talks about the hospitals were overflowed here, they were sending them out, all the Walmarts, all the CVSs, all the Walgreens
[01:22:26.740 --> 01:22:37.740]  Who were completely sold out of inhalers because of the congestion problems of people who were having asthma attacks and all kinds of horrible things

[01:36:45.740 --> 01:36:55.740]  Allowing him to release on your own recognizance in this very limited circumstance
