[00:00.000 --> 00:04.600] This news brief brought to you by the International News Net.
[00:04.600 --> 00:09.840] Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez announced Friday this country would open an embassy
[00:09.840 --> 00:13.080] in Palestine and upgrade diplomatic ties.
[00:13.080 --> 00:18.480] Chavez said, quote, we are on the side of the Palestinian people's memorable struggle
[00:18.480 --> 00:22.520] against the genocidal state of Israel that knocks down, kills,
[00:22.520 --> 00:26.000] and aims to terminate the Palestinian people.
[00:26.000 --> 00:30.720] The British Commonwealth has admitted Rwanda as its 54th member.
[00:30.720 --> 00:34.920] The African country was admitted at the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting
[00:34.920 --> 00:36.760]  in Trinidad and Tobago.
[00:36.760 --> 00:39.720] A Rwandan minister said the move showed his country's, quote,
[00:39.720 --> 00:43.520] tremendous progress over the last 15 years.
[00:43.520 --> 00:48.640]  Some 800,000 people were killed in Rwanda's 1994 genocide.
[00:48.640 --> 00:53.680] Top of the hour news brought to you by INN World Report.
[00:53.680 --> 00:59.600] Representatives of 34 anti-war groups delivered a letter to Barack Obama Monday,
[00:59.600 --> 01:05.400] strongly opposing his decision to send tens of thousands more troops to Afghanistan.
[01:05.400 --> 01:08.520] The document described increased war spending in light
[01:08.520 --> 01:11.720] of the economic crisis as utter folly.
[01:11.720 --> 01:17.200] It also named the war a war against ordinary people, both here in the United States
[01:17.200 --> 01:22.040] and in Afghanistan, which will result in the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands
[01:22.040 --> 01:26.360] of U.S. troops and untold thousands of Afghans.
[01:26.360 --> 01:31.000] The letter said it would cause people in other lands to despise the U.S.
[01:31.000 --> 01:36.520] as the world's richest nation, making war on one of the world's very poorest.
[01:36.520 --> 01:41.760] The letter said, we will urge elected representatives to cut all funding for war.
[01:41.760 --> 01:46.840] Some of us will be led to withhold our taxes and practice civil resistance.
[01:46.840 --> 01:54.680] The document represents one of the most widespread anti-war coalitions in decades.
[01:54.680 --> 01:59.720] Federal Reserve officials said record low interest rates might fuel excessive
[01:59.720 --> 02:06.400] speculation in financial markets and possibly dislodge expectations for low inflation.
[02:06.400 --> 02:11.480] According to the minutes of a Fed meeting released Monday, members noted the possibility
[02:11.480 --> 02:15.160] that some negative side effects might result from the maintenance
[02:15.160 --> 02:20.840] of very low short-term interest rates for an extended period, including the possibility
[02:20.840 --> 02:26.440] that such a policy could lead to excessive risk taking in financial markets.
[02:26.440 --> 02:31.560] Fed officials indicated the benchmark lending rate would remain near zero
[02:31.560 --> 02:36.360] for an extended period as long as inflation expectations are stable
[02:36.360 --> 02:39.480] and unemployment fails to decline.
[02:39.480 --> 02:46.040] Gold prices touched an all-time high of $1,174 an ounce in New York Friday
[02:46.040 --> 03:13.480] as a slumping dollar boosted the appeal of alternative assets.
[03:46.360 --> 03:48.680] Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do?
[03:48.680 --> 03:51.080] Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
[03:51.080 --> 03:54.120] Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do?
[03:54.120 --> 03:56.760] Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
[03:56.760 --> 03:59.400] When you were eight and you had bad treats
[03:59.400 --> 04:02.200] You'd go to school and learn the golden rules
[04:02.200 --> 04:05.000] So why are you acting like a bloody fool?
[04:05.000 --> 04:07.560] If you get high, then you might get cool
[04:07.560 --> 04:10.440] Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do?
[04:10.440 --> 04:13.000] Oh, whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
[04:13.000 --> 04:16.120] Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do?
[04:16.120 --> 04:18.760] Oh, whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
[04:18.760 --> 04:21.560] You chuck it on that one, you chuck it on this one
[04:21.560 --> 04:24.280] You chuck it on your mother and you chuck it on your father
[04:24.280 --> 04:27.080] You chuck it on your brother and you chuck it on your sister
[04:27.080 --> 04:29.960] You chuck it on that one and you chuck it on me
[04:29.960 --> 04:33.560] Alright. Bad boys, bad boys
[04:33.560 --> 04:36.360] What are you gonna do when we come for you?
[04:36.360 --> 04:42.440] Randy Kelton, Eddie Craig, Deborah Stevens here on Rule of Law Radio
[04:42.440 --> 04:45.880]  It is Monday, November 30th, 2009.
[04:45.880 --> 04:48.240] We are back from the holiday break.
[04:48.240 --> 04:52.360]  Very refreshing, well-deserved break.
[04:52.360 --> 04:53.920] Sorry, y'all had to listen to archives.
[04:53.920 --> 04:55.600]  Hope you enjoyed them.
[04:55.600 --> 04:58.480] But we need a little time off as well.
[04:58.480 --> 05:01.240]  We got a letter recently from a listener.
[05:01.240 --> 05:03.000]  Sent us a video to watch.
[05:03.000 --> 05:08.400] Sent me and Randy a video, a car chase video, a cop chasing
[05:08.400 --> 05:10.960] video, and said, this is for you guys to
[05:10.960 --> 05:12.000] watch in your time off.
[05:12.000 --> 05:14.440]  We put in parentheses, what's that?
[05:14.440 --> 05:15.680]  It's like, yo, what is that?
[05:15.680 --> 05:16.880] We hardly ever get it.
[05:16.880 --> 05:20.780] But at any rate, we're going to have some folks from Radio
[05:20.780 --> 05:24.520] Free Oklahoma join us at the next break.
[05:24.520 --> 05:28.520] One of the hosts on this network, James from Radio
[05:28.520 --> 05:31.200] Free Oklahoma, him and his buddy, apparently got beat up
[05:31.200 --> 05:35.800] by the police at a shopping mall for handing out some
[05:35.800 --> 05:36.360]  flyers.
[05:36.360 --> 05:38.040] We're going to be talking about that more later.
[05:38.040 --> 05:41.760] But this first segment, I want to go over just basically an
[05:41.760 --> 05:45.360] update on what's going on with 9.1 and the letters we
[05:45.360 --> 05:46.840]  received.
[05:46.840 --> 05:48.760] The outpouring of support has just been
[05:48.760 --> 05:51.280]  absolutely overwhelming.
[05:51.280 --> 05:54.640] We haven't even really kicked off our major fundraising drive
[05:54.640 --> 05:57.680] yet or a letter writing campaign drive yet.
[05:57.680 --> 06:01.200] And we have almost 200 letters already in just a little over a
[06:01.200 --> 06:04.000] week's period of time just from the PSAs.
[06:04.000 --> 06:09.080] And also, we have almost $1,500 in donations.
[06:09.080 --> 06:10.680]  This is just amazing.
[06:10.680 --> 06:13.600] And we thank you listeners out there so much.
[06:13.600 --> 06:17.120] Letters and money are pouring in from all over the country,
[06:17.120 --> 06:21.480]  even from people who can't listen to 9.1 since it's only
[06:21.480 --> 06:23.360]  in the Austin station.
[06:23.360 --> 06:26.640] Here's a letter from someone in Wisconsin who listens to this
[06:26.640 --> 06:29.720]  network in Wisconsin.
[06:29.720 --> 06:32.920]  She says, I'm sorry it isn't more.
[06:32.920 --> 06:36.600] We're retired on a fixed income, but this is so
[06:36.600 --> 06:37.440]  important.
[06:37.440 --> 06:39.880] I'll try to do this again in the near future.
[06:39.880 --> 06:42.680] Thank you so much for what you're doing.
[06:42.680 --> 06:48.240] This elderly couple sends us $100 from another state far
[06:48.240 --> 06:51.200] away because they believe so much in what we're doing.
[06:51.200 --> 06:53.320] And I just want to take a little bit of time here to
[06:53.320 --> 06:57.600] read some of the letters that we've gotten for serving the
[06:57.600 --> 07:00.160]  public interest file.
[07:00.160 --> 07:03.880] This person writes, 9.1 FM, radio offers the schedule
[07:03.880 --> 07:07.160] program unique in Austin with news and information that can
[07:07.160 --> 07:11.480] be found nowhere else on the radio dial, transcending all
[07:11.480 --> 07:15.200] and to the heart of why it is in the public interest to keep
[07:15.200 --> 07:17.040] the station on the air.
[07:17.040 --> 07:20.760] While the programs are diverse and the various editorial
[07:20.760 --> 07:23.600] perspectives and opinions differ, they all celebrate the
[07:23.600 --> 07:26.680] American tradition of free speech.
[07:26.680 --> 07:28.920] 9.1 should not only be maintained, it
[07:28.920 --> 07:30.840]  should be encouraged.
[07:30.840 --> 07:34.400] And here's some of the comments on the bottom of the
[07:34.400 --> 07:36.760] form letter that I have for download.
[07:36.760 --> 07:38.840] I'll just read my form letter quickly.
[07:38.840 --> 07:40.600] It's just one paragraph, one short paragraph.
[07:40.600 --> 07:43.080] And then I'll read the comments from some other
[07:43.080 --> 07:46.440] letters that have come in.
[07:46.440 --> 07:48.640] You can download this from the website, by the way.
[07:48.640 --> 07:51.080] To whom it may concern, I am writing this letter in support
[07:51.080 --> 07:54.520]  of the local Austin radio stations 90.1 and 100.1.
[07:54.520 --> 07:56.720] These stations serve the public interest more than any
[07:56.720 --> 07:59.360] other radio station by providing truthful news and
[07:59.360 --> 08:02.480] helpful information that no other station provides.
[08:02.480 --> 08:04.840] Most stations cover up what is really going on, but these
[08:04.840 --> 08:07.480] stations have consistently brought the truth to the
[08:07.480 --> 08:09.960] public, along with hope, spiritual enlightenment, and
[08:09.960 --> 08:13.440] practical tools that ordinary folks can use to take care of
[08:13.440 --> 08:15.240] themselves in their daily lives.
[08:15.240 --> 08:18.040] Please consider this letter as a testimony that 90.1 and
[08:18.040 --> 08:21.520] 100.1 in Austin serve the public interest to the utmost
[08:21.520 --> 08:23.200] every single moment they are on the air.
[08:23.200 --> 08:25.400]  OK, that's my form letter.
[08:25.400 --> 08:29.640] So you all out there are welcome to edit that, change
[08:29.640 --> 08:32.960] it, or write your own, or keep everything there, add your
[08:32.960 --> 08:33.800]  own comments, whatever.
[08:33.800 --> 08:37.080] So I'm going to read some of the comments that people have
[08:37.080 --> 08:39.080] added in addition to this.
[08:39.080 --> 08:43.160] One person says, the host and information that is relayed to
[08:43.160 --> 08:46.480] the citizens of Austin and surrounding area from this
[08:46.480 --> 08:49.000] radio station is not heard on any other form.
[08:49.000 --> 08:51.840] It is great concern that this information goes out to the
[08:51.840 --> 08:54.440] public in a timely and honest fashion.
[08:54.440 --> 08:59.560] This radio station provides this and as such does a great
[08:59.560 --> 09:00.840]  public service.
[09:00.840 --> 09:03.600] If anything, it needs to have much more broadcast power so
[09:03.600 --> 09:07.240] that it can reach more people with a clear signal covering
[09:07.240 --> 09:08.800]  all of central Texas.
[09:08.800 --> 09:11.160]  Yeah, I love it.
[09:11.160 --> 09:15.000] And here's what, next letter, another comment.
[09:15.000 --> 09:18.360] Neither 90.1 or 100.1 FM are being used by any other
[09:18.360 --> 09:22.160] broadcaster and I object to the FCC meddling in local affairs
[09:22.160 --> 09:23.720]  of Austin, Texas.
[09:23.720 --> 09:26.560] FCC, please get out of our business and do something,
[09:26.560 --> 09:28.560]  anything worthwhile.
[09:28.560 --> 09:31.480] Leave this micro radio station alone and let them continue to
[09:31.480 --> 09:34.600] serve the public interest of Austin, something the FCC is
[09:34.600 --> 09:36.800]  not doing.
[09:36.800 --> 09:37.480]  All right, more.
[09:37.480 --> 09:40.920] There is no other station to listen to.
[09:40.920 --> 09:43.240]  90.1 is a very informative station.
[09:43.240 --> 09:45.200]  We need it.
[09:45.200 --> 09:47.160] This radio station hurts no one.
[09:47.160 --> 09:49.880] I have learned a lot of valuable things by listening.
[09:49.880 --> 09:53.200] It should be protected by the First Amendment.
[09:53.200 --> 09:55.800] I have learned more in listening to these two radio
[09:55.800 --> 09:59.960] stations than in my 17 years of institutional education.
[09:59.960 --> 10:03.400] What a breath of fresh air to finally hear truth on a radio
[10:03.400 --> 10:04.280]  station.
[10:04.280 --> 10:08.600]  Thank you, 90.1 and 100.1.
[10:08.600 --> 10:12.360] Nobody but nobody else in the news broadcast and print
[10:12.360 --> 10:15.000] industry comes close to the quality and quantity of
[10:15.000 --> 10:17.560]  truthfulness that 90.1 FM puts out.
[10:17.560 --> 10:23.480] I am so impressed that at least once per week I hold up a 90.1
[10:23.480 --> 10:27.240] FM sign on the corner of 45th at Guadalupe for at least 30
[10:27.240 --> 10:28.040]  minutes.
[10:28.040 --> 10:33.000] I sold my TV to a pawn shop in May of 07.
[10:33.000 --> 10:37.480] Corporate media has been bought out and threatened out and has
[10:37.480 --> 10:41.160] threatened out local and other reliable news sources such as
[10:41.160 --> 10:44.760] 90.1 and such are the only legitimate outlets.
[10:44.760 --> 10:47.880] They not only serve the public interest but also business,
[10:47.880 --> 10:50.760]  government, and human communities.
[10:50.760 --> 10:53.480]  It's a very impressive station.
[10:53.480 --> 10:56.760] I will not listen to corporate spin news.
[10:56.760 --> 10:59.800] These stations broadcast informative and truthful
[10:59.800 --> 11:02.280]  topics.
[11:02.280 --> 11:04.840]  Shut down the FCC.
[11:04.840 --> 11:07.800]  Long live Liberty Radio.
[11:07.800 --> 11:08.680]  I listen.
[11:08.680 --> 11:09.960]  I'm the public.
[11:09.960 --> 11:13.720]  I have internet discussion over.
[11:13.720 --> 11:17.480] Federal jurisdiction is questionable in this case.
[11:17.480 --> 11:20.680] To deny these stations the right to broadcast is exposing
[11:20.680 --> 11:23.400] yourself as an agent of tyranny.
[11:23.400 --> 11:26.520] Leave the radio stations alone.
[11:26.520 --> 11:26.840]  Okay.
[11:26.840 --> 11:27.880]  Let me see.
[11:27.880 --> 11:31.080] I wanted to read this one letter that really touched my
[11:31.080 --> 11:34.520] heart here before I go on to some of the more other
[11:34.520 --> 11:35.240]  comments.
[11:35.240 --> 11:40.920] This one was a written letter by a war veteran that said this
[11:40.920 --> 11:42.760] one is his own words.
[11:42.760 --> 11:45.880] To whom it may concern, I'm an Austin resident who finds it
[11:45.880 --> 11:49.960] difficult to find accurate reporting on most if not all of
[11:49.960 --> 11:52.120]  the traditional popular networks.
[11:52.120 --> 11:56.120] 90.1 provides an alternative by presenting a variety of talk
[11:56.120 --> 11:59.160] shows and news programs that are hard hitting and contain
[11:59.160 --> 12:02.200] information and reporting seldom covered by other
[12:02.200 --> 12:03.080]  networks.
[12:03.080 --> 12:06.120] I find it frustrating to think that at this time in American
[12:06.120 --> 12:08.760] history when Americans are already feeling backed in a
[12:08.760 --> 12:11.960] corner to a certain degree that a question of free speech
[12:11.960 --> 12:13.480]  would even be raised.
[12:13.480 --> 12:16.120] Please do not provoke the American people by challenging
[12:16.120 --> 12:18.440] their freedom of speech and the press.
[12:18.440 --> 12:22.520] Please do not add undue stress to 90.1 in their operations.
[12:22.520 --> 12:27.000]  I'm a faithful listener and will consider this as a personal
[12:27.000 --> 12:29.640]  challenge to my liberty.
[12:29.640 --> 12:32.680] I am an Iraq war veteran, defender of liberty and the
[12:32.680 --> 12:38.280] Constitution and a Texas House of Representatives candidate.
[12:38.280 --> 12:40.120]  I won't mention his person's name unless I get his
[12:40.120 --> 12:42.040] permission, but he is a candidate for the House of
[12:42.040 --> 12:44.680]  Representatives here in Texas.
[12:44.680 --> 12:47.240]  These stations dispel lies.
[12:47.240 --> 12:50.360] We need the truth to be heard.
[12:50.360 --> 12:54.840] It would definitely impact my life to not have 90.1 FM in my
[12:54.840 --> 12:56.040]  car.
[12:56.040 --> 13:00.200]  90.1 and 100.1 provide a vital service in bringing the truth
[13:00.200 --> 13:02.840] when other media will not.
[13:02.840 --> 13:07.720] This is educational programming well beyond PBS.
[13:07.720 --> 13:10.760] These stations provide factual information which is
[13:10.760 --> 13:12.040]  verifiable.
[13:12.040 --> 13:14.840] These stations are unlike any other station in the Austin
[13:14.840 --> 13:16.360]  area.
[13:16.360 --> 13:18.760] The station provides the most in supporting the public
[13:18.760 --> 13:23.000] interest in the local Austin area.
[13:23.000 --> 13:25.720] This station consistently provides accurate information
[13:25.720 --> 13:30.920] with hope to return America to a legitimate democratic status.
[13:30.920 --> 13:33.400] No other station provides this kind of information.
[13:33.400 --> 13:35.400]  It fills a void.
[13:35.400 --> 13:38.840]  90.1 is extremely important to me.
[13:38.840 --> 13:42.120] It has become an essential source of information for me.
[13:42.120 --> 13:44.440] I believe radio at the grassroots level is a vital
[13:44.440 --> 13:46.680]  component of our society.
[13:46.680 --> 13:50.280] This is the most valuable radio I am aware of.
[13:50.280 --> 13:53.160]  Thank God for 90.1.
[13:53.160 --> 13:54.840]  Victory or death.
[13:54.840 --> 13:56.200]  Oh, Second Amendment.
[13:56.200 --> 13:58.920] People are going to get very upset to say the least if it
[13:58.920 --> 14:00.920]  goes down.
[14:00.920 --> 14:02.920] In the interest of constitutional rights of free
[14:02.920 --> 14:06.520] speech outside of corporate control, please recognize and
[14:06.520 --> 14:10.280] honor the public service these stations provide.
[14:10.280 --> 14:13.880] The station provides a highly valuable service and content
[14:13.880 --> 14:18.040] for many cross-sections in the Austin area.
[14:18.040 --> 14:20.600] Please just listen to the station for just one week if
[14:20.600 --> 14:24.040] you care at all about the future of this country and of
[14:24.040 --> 14:26.760]  your family.
[14:26.760 --> 14:29.000] I listen to the station when I am in Austin.
[14:29.000 --> 14:31.880]  I wish we had a similar one in Kyle.
[14:31.880 --> 14:33.480]  It's the only real news.
[14:33.480 --> 14:36.040]  Everything else is a lie.
[14:36.040 --> 14:37.800]  Here's another handwritten letter.
[14:37.800 --> 14:40.920] Do not take 90.1 off the air and please leave them alone.
[14:40.920 --> 14:43.480] If you're a true American that really cares, you would
[14:43.480 --> 14:46.200]  boost the power of 90.1 a hundredfold.
[14:46.200 --> 14:49.800] 90.1 is the most valuable radio station in the Austin area.
[14:49.800 --> 14:53.400] Nowhere else in Austin can you receive truthful news and
[14:53.400 --> 14:56.840] information that 90.1 provides, information that this country
[14:56.840 --> 14:59.480] was founded on that keeps you free.
[14:59.480 --> 15:01.800] Now unless you are against the First Amendment and freedom of
[15:01.800 --> 15:04.760] speech, you will keep to your oppressive actions and all
[15:04.760 --> 15:06.760]  freedom-loving people moving forward.
[15:06.760 --> 15:09.160] Your actions affect all citizens that yearn for truth
[15:09.160 --> 15:11.320] and freedoms that cannot be found anywhere else in the
[15:11.320 --> 15:14.040] world. That includes you, the person reading this letter,
[15:14.040 --> 15:16.520] your family, your children, and grandchildren.
[15:16.520 --> 15:19.640] Taking action against 90.1 is the same as harming your own
[15:19.640 --> 15:22.360] family, children, and grandchildren, not to mention
[15:22.360 --> 15:25.800] the harm you create against yourself and fellow citizens of
[15:25.800 --> 15:27.640]  this once great country.
[15:27.640 --> 15:31.000] I say once because it is precisely this sort of behavior
[15:31.000 --> 15:33.400] that you portray that has brought it to a lesser
[15:33.400 --> 15:34.840]  greatness.
[15:34.840 --> 15:37.800] You are part of the tyranny we face today.
[15:37.800 --> 15:40.600] All in the love of power, the lust of greed, and
[15:40.600 --> 15:42.600]  self-serving interests.
[15:42.600 --> 15:45.480] Desist now, this is our country, not yours.
[15:45.480 --> 15:50.360] Have you no compassion for your country and fellow man.
[15:50.360 --> 15:53.240] Okay, so it brings tears to my eyes.
[15:53.240 --> 15:56.200] These are just but a few of the letters that we have received
[15:56.200 --> 15:59.320] and so all I can say is people thank you and please keep it
[15:59.320 --> 15:59.640]  up.
[15:59.640 --> 16:01.160]  We need more letters.
[16:01.160 --> 16:04.360] We need thousands of letters and we are going to need
[16:04.360 --> 16:05.400]  thousands of dollars.
[16:05.400 --> 16:09.080] Potentially we may have to come up with $20,000 to help the
[16:09.080 --> 16:13.640] operators if we can't get them out of the fines that they face
[16:13.640 --> 16:14.440]  at this time.
[16:14.440 --> 16:18.920] So please keep sending your donations and your letters.
[16:18.920 --> 16:21.640] There's no specific deadline for the letters but we do need
[16:21.640 --> 16:23.560] as many as we can within the next 30 days.
[16:23.560 --> 16:27.640] So we're about to cut to break and then we will bring back
[16:27.640 --> 16:30.600] Radio Free Oklahoma on the air or not bring them back.
[16:30.600 --> 16:34.040] We will bring them on the air tonight to discuss what happened
[16:34.040 --> 16:35.560] to them over the weekend.
[16:36.200 --> 16:37.640]  I'm Deborah Stevens.
[16:37.640 --> 16:45.240] This is the Rule of Law.
[17:07.640 --> 17:08.920]  This has been tremendous.
[17:08.920 --> 17:12.120] In only two days, Brave New Books has collected over 100
[17:12.120 --> 17:15.560] letters and enough donations to cover court costs so far.
[17:15.560 --> 17:18.040] A lawsuit and petition for restraining order has been
[17:18.040 --> 17:21.480] filed to stop the FCC from taking any further action until
[17:21.480 --> 17:23.320] this is sorted out in court.
[17:23.320 --> 17:26.200] 9.1 will stay on the air for the long haul.
[17:26.200 --> 17:29.080] Even if the court orders the operators to shut down,
[17:29.080 --> 17:31.560] we are prepared to appeal all the way to the U.S.
[17:31.560 --> 17:32.280]  Supreme Court.
[17:32.840 --> 17:36.440] Now is the time to kick our serving the public interest
[17:36.440 --> 17:40.520] letter campaign into high gear to go viral so we can build
[17:40.520 --> 17:42.680]  as strong a case as possible.
[17:42.680 --> 17:45.560] We need your donations to cover future court costs,
[17:45.560 --> 17:48.520] travel expenses and possible fines as well.
[17:48.520 --> 17:51.560] Please go to ruleoflawradio.com to download the letter
[17:51.560 --> 17:55.880] and donate or stop by Brave New Books at 1904 Guadalupe,
[17:55.880 --> 17:56.760]  Suite B.
[17:56.760 --> 18:06.760] Thank you, Austin, and please continue your support.
[18:06.760 --> 18:25.480] Their oaths are not abiding and in the case of Mr.
[18:25.480 --> 18:28.920] Stephen Lee of the FCC, he doesn't even have one.
[18:29.720 --> 18:32.120] We'll get to more on the FCC later.
[18:32.120 --> 18:37.880] Right now, we have Chris Emory, James Lane and Brent Souther
[18:37.880 --> 18:42.760] from Radio Free Oklahoma joining us tonight to discuss
[18:42.760 --> 18:45.720] what happened, I guess, mainly to James and Brent
[18:45.720 --> 18:46.520]  over the weekend.
[18:46.520 --> 18:50.920] They were attacked by shopping mall security for handing out
[18:50.920 --> 18:51.720]  some flyers.
[18:52.440 --> 18:55.240] This is the lead story on We Are Change Oklahoma.
[18:55.240 --> 18:57.320] So, gentlemen, thank you for joining us tonight.
[18:57.880 --> 18:58.920] Thanks for having us on, Deb.
[18:58.920 --> 19:04.840] James, whoever wants to start off, James, Brent, James,
[19:04.840 --> 19:07.560] you want to start off and tell us what happened?
[19:08.280 --> 19:12.120] Well, there was a We Are Change street action that was planned
[19:12.120 --> 19:13.160]  for Black Friday.
[19:13.160 --> 19:16.360] They were going to distribute some deception dollars.
[19:16.360 --> 19:19.240] They look like similar to dollar bills, but they have a lot
[19:19.240 --> 19:22.280] of alternative websites on them, just a way to promote access
[19:22.280 --> 19:23.800]  to alternative media.
[19:23.800 --> 19:26.920] So they threw these, tossed handfuls of these off of the
[19:26.920 --> 19:31.080] first, off the second story into the first floor.
[19:31.080 --> 19:32.600] And, you know, it was a positive response.
[19:32.600 --> 19:33.240]  People were laughing.
[19:33.240 --> 19:34.680] They thought it was pretty funny.
[19:34.680 --> 19:38.440] Most of the activists left and Brent and I were down at the
[19:38.440 --> 19:41.240] other end of the mall and we didn't even throw anything.
[19:41.240 --> 19:43.640] I was just videotaping what was going on.
[19:43.640 --> 19:47.240] And about that point, one of the activists that participated
[19:47.240 --> 19:52.440] in throwing the deception dollars walks by with security
[19:52.440 --> 19:55.880] in tow and they changed their attention from him over to Brent
[19:55.880 --> 19:57.880]  because Brent was holding a bag.
[19:57.880 --> 20:00.920] They asked if they could look in the bag and he declined
[20:00.920 --> 20:02.040] and started to walk out of the mall.
[20:03.160 --> 20:05.240] The security guard passes me and follows Brent.
[20:05.240 --> 20:09.160] So I follow them outside, at which point several security
[20:09.160 --> 20:12.840] guards are all converging on Brent's location and in kind
[20:12.840 --> 20:14.120]  of a threatening manner.
[20:14.120 --> 20:16.440] So he bolted, he starts running.
[20:17.080 --> 20:19.400] At this point, I'm videotaping the whole thing, following him
[20:19.400 --> 20:21.000]  behind the security guards.
[20:21.000 --> 20:23.960] He goes around outside of the parking garage to the side
[20:23.960 --> 20:26.520] of the building and realizes that there's no sense in running
[20:26.520 --> 20:27.960]  because he didn't do anything wrong.
[20:27.960 --> 20:29.960] So he stops, turns around and holds his hands up.
[20:30.600 --> 20:33.720] And at this point, one of the security guards yells,
[20:33.720 --> 20:34.760]  take him down hard.
[20:35.320 --> 20:39.800] As far as I could tell, three to five, maybe four to six,
[20:39.800 --> 20:42.120] somewhere in there, all piled on top of him.
[20:42.680 --> 20:46.600] I come up within about 20 yards of his location videotaping
[20:46.600 --> 20:50.440] it whenever a gentleman by the name of Rick Weisner turns
[20:50.440 --> 20:53.720] around and points at me and says, turn that camera off.
[20:53.720 --> 20:56.440] As he's standing up and starting to approach me in a really
[20:56.440 --> 21:00.120] aggressive manner, I hold my ground and I state to him that
[21:00.120 --> 21:02.280]  Oklahoma is a single consent state.
[21:02.280 --> 21:04.760] As long as I consent to videotaping, I can film anywhere
[21:04.760 --> 21:05.800]  that I want to.
[21:05.800 --> 21:09.320] I've looked it up, I know the law and he continues to come
[21:09.320 --> 21:11.560] at me demanding that I turn the tape off.
[21:12.520 --> 21:15.480] I warn him that if he touches me, I will consider it assault.
[21:15.480 --> 21:16.360]  They all grabbed me.
[21:17.240 --> 21:19.320] I intentionally put my hands to my side.
[21:19.320 --> 21:21.800] I mean, at one point I may have put a hand up just in defense
[21:21.800 --> 21:24.440] as they were all starting to come at me.
[21:24.440 --> 21:27.640] But my first thought was to put my hands down to my side.
[21:27.640 --> 21:29.640]  I closed my camera so it wouldn't be damaged.
[21:29.640 --> 21:31.480] So I'd be able to preserve the video.
[21:32.040 --> 21:36.040] Well, then they throw me to the ground and smash my head
[21:36.040 --> 21:38.440]  into the landscaping there.
[21:38.440 --> 21:41.880] I got contusions all over my stomach, my forehead, my sides.
[21:43.560 --> 21:46.600] At this point, I see an OCPD officer come around the corner
[21:46.600 --> 21:47.560]  and I asked him for help.
[21:48.200 --> 21:49.800] Well, he just joined in on the assault.
[21:49.800 --> 21:52.840] They wrenched the camera from my hands and at this point,
[21:52.840 --> 21:56.440] one of the security guards is on my back and he puts me
[21:56.440 --> 22:01.000] in a choke hold, wrenching me backwards, arching my back.
[22:02.040 --> 22:04.520]  I was at the point where I couldn't breathe at all.
[22:04.520 --> 22:07.960] And I thought, as I was about to pass out, I thought,
[22:07.960 --> 22:09.240]  maybe he's not going to stop.
[22:09.240 --> 22:11.720]  I mean, I was seriously concerned.
[22:12.680 --> 22:13.320]  I blacked out.
[22:13.320 --> 22:17.240] I came to with them either kneeing or punching me
[22:17.240 --> 22:17.720]  in the back.
[22:17.720 --> 22:18.120]  I don't know.
[22:18.120 --> 22:20.920]  I couldn't see, but they were putting a lot of pressure
[22:20.920 --> 22:22.520]  down on my back to where I couldn't breathe.
[22:23.400 --> 22:25.880]  They're telling me to stop resisting and I'm gasping
[22:25.880 --> 22:27.000]  just saying, I can't breathe.
[22:27.000 --> 22:27.400]  I can't.
[22:27.400 --> 22:27.960]  I'm not resisting.
[22:27.960 --> 22:28.600]  I can't breathe.
[22:29.320 --> 22:31.000] Somebody says, give him some lung.
[22:31.560 --> 22:33.560] At that point, I was able to catch a breath.
[22:34.440 --> 22:38.200] I regained enough of my composure to put my hands
[22:38.200 --> 22:40.520] behind my back as they're threatening to mace me.
[22:42.680 --> 22:45.400] That one of them, I think at that point, yeah,
[22:45.400 --> 22:46.600]  I got the handcuffs on me.
[22:46.600 --> 22:50.040] They lift me up and put me in the car with Brent,
[22:50.040 --> 22:51.880] and he was already in the back seat of the car.
[22:52.200 --> 22:55.080] They drive us around to the side of the mall where we sat
[22:55.080 --> 22:58.520] for two hours while mall security is inside going
[22:58.520 --> 22:59.320]  through my camera.
[23:00.040 --> 23:03.320] They come back out laughing and everything and hand the camera
[23:03.320 --> 23:05.960] to the Oklahoma City police officers, you know, kind of
[23:05.960 --> 23:06.920]  smiling and laughing.
[23:07.560 --> 23:10.280]  And then we're notified that I won't be able to get
[23:10.280 --> 23:10.680]  the camera back.
[23:10.680 --> 23:11.880]  It's being booked into evidence.
[23:11.880 --> 23:16.280] And we are the ones that are being of assault charges.
[23:16.280 --> 23:18.120] Assault and battery charges put on us.
[23:19.000 --> 23:21.320] So I guess if you get beat up by mall security,
[23:21.320 --> 23:22.360]  that's assaulting them.
[23:22.920 --> 23:27.800] Well, you have a lot of gall skinning up their knuckles
[23:27.800 --> 23:28.840]  with your face.
[23:28.840 --> 23:29.800]  Exactly.
[23:29.800 --> 23:32.040] With his back, it would seem.
[23:32.920 --> 23:33.400]  Yeah.
[23:34.760 --> 23:37.560] We got booked into the county jail that night.
[23:37.560 --> 23:39.720]  I mean, it was a blonde, orange jumpsuit, everything,
[23:39.720 --> 23:44.440] bread and water, the whole bit, and it was on 72-hour lockdown.
[23:44.440 --> 23:46.680] So, I mean, there was nothing in there.
[23:46.680 --> 23:49.320] Just stare at the walls for, you know, hours on the end.
[23:50.120 --> 23:51.480] We managed to get bail.
[23:51.480 --> 23:55.080] And I immediately went to the ER and they, you know,
[23:55.080 --> 23:58.040] documented the contusions and pulled muscles and stuff.
[23:58.040 --> 24:00.280] So it was a pretty brutal attack.
[24:00.280 --> 24:01.480]  Deborah, this is Chris.
[24:01.480 --> 24:03.640] I went ahead and emailed you all of that documentation.
[24:03.640 --> 24:05.400] So you guys here, prove positive.
[24:05.400 --> 24:08.200] This is not something that can be contrived.
[24:08.200 --> 24:09.560]  I mean, it did happen.
[24:10.120 --> 24:14.200] And I sat down with James and Brent for the better part
[24:14.200 --> 24:16.520] of two hours to compile that narrative.
[24:16.520 --> 24:19.560] And we re-edited it to make sure it was as straightforward
[24:19.560 --> 24:21.960] and, you know, concise and objective as possible.
[24:21.960 --> 24:23.800] So, I mean, that is the way it played out.
[24:24.840 --> 24:25.160]  Okay.
[24:25.160 --> 24:27.400] The narrative will be valuable later on.
[24:27.400 --> 24:27.720]  Okay.
[24:27.720 --> 24:28.040]  Yeah.
[24:28.040 --> 24:29.160]  And I have a question.
[24:30.200 --> 24:33.240] You guys, both of y'all were charged.
[24:33.240 --> 24:35.480]  I mean, the reason y'all were arrested is that y'all...
[24:36.360 --> 24:40.760] The reason for the charge was that you were assaulting
[24:41.400 --> 24:43.000]  the mall security.
[24:43.000 --> 24:44.440]  Is that correct?
[24:44.440 --> 24:47.400] That's what they said when they put us into the transport
[24:47.400 --> 24:49.320] vehicle to be taken to county jail.
[24:49.320 --> 24:51.480] They said we're being arrested for assault and battery
[24:51.480 --> 24:52.600]  against the security officer.
[24:52.600 --> 24:53.000]  Okay.
[24:53.000 --> 24:56.040] So I guess what are they trying to say that you just walked
[24:56.040 --> 24:59.080] up to mall security and started beating them up or something?
[24:59.080 --> 25:02.040]  I mean, this just doesn't even make any sense.
[25:02.600 --> 25:05.720] Well, I asked the officer, the OCPD officer,
[25:05.720 --> 25:08.440] that we were sitting in his car for two hours.
[25:08.440 --> 25:12.200]  I asked him numerous times that I told him I wanted
[25:12.200 --> 25:14.280] to file assault charges on the security guards,
[25:14.280 --> 25:16.520] and he would just laugh and say I was out of touch with reality.
[25:17.240 --> 25:19.720] I think they're the ones that are out of touch with reality.
[25:21.560 --> 25:23.960] I think we can help bring him back in touch.
[25:23.960 --> 25:24.200]  Yeah.
[25:24.200 --> 25:26.760] I think we can bring these guys back in touch with reality.
[25:28.280 --> 25:30.680] There's an ace in the hole we have that is documenting
[25:30.680 --> 25:33.320] all of that, and we can't develop that on the air,
[25:33.320 --> 25:35.880] but that is definitely something these guys are...
[25:35.880 --> 25:37.320]  I mean, it's stone cold.
[25:37.320 --> 25:40.360] We've got them in the proverbial crosshairs on this.
[25:40.360 --> 25:44.360] So yeah, and also, I mean, these guys are...
[25:44.920 --> 25:47.880] We can charge them with so many crimes.
[25:47.880 --> 25:51.160] I mean, assault and battery of you guys kidnapping,
[25:51.160 --> 25:55.720] aggravated kidnapping, that is, and theft of property.
[25:55.720 --> 25:57.160]  They stole your camera.
[25:57.160 --> 25:58.600] I mean, it goes on and on.
[25:59.320 --> 26:01.640] Now, Brent, what was the deal with your knife?
[26:02.680 --> 26:06.360] The security guard after they handcuffed me took my pocket knife
[26:06.360 --> 26:08.200] out of my knife right in front of the cop,
[26:08.200 --> 26:10.200] and I pointed out to the cop, hey, he's stealing my knife.
[26:10.200 --> 26:11.960] And he kind of just looked at me in different,
[26:11.960 --> 26:14.360] and just, I don't know, he told me to shut up or whatever.
[26:14.360 --> 26:15.400] He said something to that effect.
[26:15.400 --> 26:18.280] So it went from your pocket to the security guard's pocket.
[26:18.280 --> 26:19.400] He put it straight in his pocket.
[26:19.400 --> 26:22.680] And the OCPD officer was standing between you and the security guard,
[26:22.680 --> 26:25.000] and the guy literally had to reach around the OCPD officer.
[26:25.000 --> 26:26.280] Yeah, it was right in front of him.
[26:26.280 --> 26:28.840] That sounds like something out of Dukes of Hazzard, The Boss Hog.
[26:28.840 --> 26:29.480]  Yeah.
[26:29.480 --> 26:30.200]  It's crazy.
[26:30.200 --> 26:31.960] This thing was never booked into evidence or anything.
[26:31.960 --> 26:34.680] Never. It's completely not on the record.
[26:34.680 --> 26:35.640]  He just stole...
[26:35.640 --> 26:38.120] He just stole Brent's knife straight up.
[26:38.120 --> 26:39.720]  That's aggravated robbery.
[26:40.600 --> 26:41.320]  Where are we?
[26:42.200 --> 26:45.400] Yeah. Well, and with the tampering with evidence,
[26:45.400 --> 26:47.240] taking the camera like that.
[26:47.240 --> 26:51.000] Question. Were any of these guards armed?
[26:52.040 --> 26:53.080]  I don't remember.
[26:54.600 --> 26:56.040] Well, the OCPD officer was.
[26:56.040 --> 26:56.600]  Yeah.
[26:56.600 --> 26:59.400] No, well, yeah, OCPD was, but as far as the mall security,
[26:59.400 --> 27:02.440] I don't know that someone was asking me that earlier today.
[27:02.440 --> 27:04.200] I think it has some sort of determination
[27:04.200 --> 27:06.280] whether or not they've got their cleat certification.
[27:06.280 --> 27:08.200] What their title is now.
[27:08.200 --> 27:12.120]  I mean, I've already made a complaint with the cleat board
[27:12.120 --> 27:13.800] or whatever for his certification.
[27:13.800 --> 27:16.440]  That's the Oklahoma certification or is that a national?
[27:16.440 --> 27:17.400]  It's Oklahoma.
[27:17.400 --> 27:17.800]  Okay.
[27:17.800 --> 27:20.120]  It's a state agency that certifies cleat.
[27:22.600 --> 27:24.760] That's kind of like the bar for attorneys.
[27:24.760 --> 27:25.400]  Exactly.
[27:25.400 --> 27:26.920]  It's certified police officers.
[27:28.200 --> 27:31.640]  But we'll get a lot better information
[27:31.640 --> 27:33.880] when you sue the owners of the mall.
[27:33.880 --> 27:35.640] When you sue the owners of the mall
[27:37.000 --> 27:38.600] under the sole actor doctrine.
[27:42.360 --> 27:44.360] Andrew Griffin offered a very good summary, guys.
[27:44.360 --> 27:46.760] Oklahoma Watchdog, what is the, is it.org?
[27:47.320 --> 27:48.760] Yeah, you can find his article.
[27:48.760 --> 27:51.000] It's the lead article on our website.
[27:51.000 --> 27:52.440]  We are ChangeOklahoma.org.
[27:53.160 --> 27:55.800] We've got a chip in there for the legal defense fund
[27:55.800 --> 27:57.400] because we're not going to roll over on this.
[27:57.400 --> 28:00.120]  We're not going to plead to a lesser charge.
[28:00.120 --> 28:01.640]  We're going to fight this because we're not guilty.
[28:01.640 --> 28:02.680]  We didn't do anything wrong.
[28:02.680 --> 28:03.640]  This is incredible.
[28:03.640 --> 28:05.960] If it'll make it any easier for you,
[28:07.240 --> 28:12.840] I went to Williamson County and called the police
[28:12.840 --> 28:15.640] to file criminal charges against the district attorney
[28:15.640 --> 28:17.960] and they knocked me around and arrested me
[28:17.960 --> 28:20.920] and pushed me around and slammed me into a chair
[28:20.920 --> 28:23.080] and a policeman was pushing me backwards.
[28:23.080 --> 28:25.320] And when I pushed his hand off my chest
[28:25.320 --> 28:27.080] to keep him from knocking me over,
[28:27.080 --> 28:28.440] he charged me with assault.
[28:28.440 --> 28:31.640] And they always charge you with something
[28:31.640 --> 28:35.480] because they know that 99.6% of the time,
[28:36.360 --> 28:39.480] everybody is frightened into taking a deal.
[28:40.360 --> 28:44.680] Well, we came back after him like a buzzsaw
[28:45.480 --> 28:48.120] and magically all the charges went away.
[28:48.680 --> 28:50.920] When the DPS in Austin smashed my face
[28:50.920 --> 28:52.920] into a wall and knocked the tooth out
[28:52.920 --> 28:55.320] and when they figured out I was coming after them,
[28:55.320 --> 28:57.960] they had me arrested and prosecuted
[28:57.960 --> 29:01.640] and I was in court telling my attorney,
[29:01.640 --> 29:04.440] don't you dare talk to these guys about a deal.
[29:04.440 --> 29:06.040]  It's going to be no deals.
[29:06.040 --> 29:09.560] I want those no good rotten scumbags on the stand
[29:09.560 --> 29:11.000] and when I get through crossing them,
[29:11.000 --> 29:13.240] I'm going to want that judge to arrest every one of them.
[29:13.240 --> 29:16.200]  So I'm really being obnoxious.
[29:16.920 --> 29:19.000] We go to lunch and they sneak in
[29:19.000 --> 29:22.600] and with a motion to dismiss to the judge
[29:22.600 --> 29:23.640]  while we're talking,
[29:23.640 --> 29:26.040] a motion to dismiss to the judge while we're out at lunch.
[29:27.240 --> 29:28.840]  Chumps, man.
[29:29.720 --> 29:31.560]  Okay, listen, we're going, hold on,
[29:31.560 --> 29:32.360]  we're going to break.
[29:32.360 --> 29:34.280]  Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you, James.
[29:35.080 --> 29:36.840] We're going to break and also Andrew Griffin
[29:36.840 --> 29:39.480] is on the line on the guest bridge.
[29:39.480 --> 29:42.280] So we're going to bring him up as well on the other side.
[29:44.280 --> 29:47.640]  See, this is why 90.1 and 100.1 in Austin
[29:47.640 --> 29:49.720] and all the radio stations out there
[29:49.720 --> 29:52.440] that rebroadcast our stream are so vital.
[29:52.440 --> 29:56.360] We have to put a stop to this kind of outrageous tyranny.
[29:56.360 --> 30:23.160]  We'll be right back.
[30:26.600 --> 30:29.480] But they have agreed to help by collecting your letters.
[30:29.480 --> 30:33.960] Please drop off or mail your letters to Brave New Books,
[30:33.960 --> 30:38.600]  Attention, Austin Micros, 90.1, 1904 Guadalupe,
[30:38.600 --> 30:42.360]  Suite B, Austin, Texas, 78705.
[30:42.360 --> 30:44.520] There are also form letters at the bookstore
[30:44.520 --> 30:45.800] that folks can just sign.
[30:45.800 --> 30:48.360] Please help keep 90.1 on the air
[30:48.360 --> 30:50.280] by getting your letters to Brave New Books
[30:50.280 --> 30:51.480]  as soon as possible.
[30:51.480 --> 30:55.400] Let the FCC know that 90.1 serves the public interest
[30:55.400 --> 30:57.720] by bringing truthful news and information
[30:57.720 --> 31:27.640]  that can't be found anywhere else.
[31:58.520 --> 32:02.680] One more warrant, one more big change.
[32:02.680 --> 32:06.680]  Texas arrest, Tampa City.
[32:06.680 --> 32:12.680] One more warrant, one more big change.
[32:12.680 --> 32:14.680] Well, we're not forgetting about the spills,
[32:14.680 --> 32:15.680]  warrant push.
[32:15.680 --> 32:18.680] All big change, warrant push.
[32:18.680 --> 32:20.680] Think about the citizens in the country,
[32:20.680 --> 32:22.680]  they're getting so mad and they're getting angry.
[32:22.680 --> 32:25.680] We have some warrant we need to solve.
[32:25.680 --> 32:27.680]  Need a prosecutor to come ahead.
[32:27.680 --> 32:30.680] Prosecutors from any state will do.
[32:30.680 --> 32:32.680] Come over and let me show them to you.
[32:32.680 --> 32:34.680] Hear them tell you, let me tell you.
[32:34.680 --> 32:37.680] Three shoes, that's the city truth, that is truth.
[32:37.680 --> 32:39.680]  There's Silverstein, you know.
[32:39.680 --> 32:42.680] You get the citizens arrest too.
[32:42.680 --> 32:44.680]  Silverstein and Hamilton clean.
[32:44.680 --> 32:47.680] You know them and they're not clean.
[32:47.680 --> 32:49.680]  Everybody bring them in
[32:49.680 --> 32:52.680] so we could solve them with warranting.
[32:52.680 --> 32:54.680]  Tell them I need to quarantine.
[32:54.680 --> 32:55.680]  Know them like me.
[32:55.680 --> 32:58.680] Say with them, citizens arrest.
[32:58.680 --> 33:01.680]  From establish.
[33:01.680 --> 33:03.680]  Citizens arrest.
[33:03.680 --> 33:05.680]  Big change.
[33:05.680 --> 33:07.680]  Citizens arrest.
[33:07.680 --> 33:10.680] Okay, citizens arrest may come to that.
[33:10.680 --> 33:12.680]  This is absolutely ridiculous.
[33:12.680 --> 33:14.680] Okay, we've got Andrew Griffin from Red Dirt Report.
[33:14.680 --> 33:16.680] Andrew, thanks for joining us tonight.
[33:16.680 --> 33:18.680] You have some comments on this issue
[33:18.680 --> 33:19.680] and some information for us?
[33:19.680 --> 33:20.680]  Thank you, Deb.
[33:20.680 --> 33:24.680] Yes, I got a call from James about this incident
[33:24.680 --> 33:27.680] involving him and Brent and the activists
[33:27.680 --> 33:30.680] with VR Change Oklahoma last night.
[33:30.680 --> 33:33.680] And so I scrambled and was able to put together a story
[33:33.680 --> 33:38.680]  on reddirtreport.com Sunday night
[33:38.680 --> 33:41.680] and followed up with some more information since it was night.
[33:41.680 --> 33:45.680] I was not able to contact the folks
[33:45.680 --> 33:47.680] at the Oklahoma City Police Department
[33:47.680 --> 33:50.680] or with Penn Square Malls
[33:50.680 --> 33:54.680] owned by Simon Property Group of Indianapolis, Indiana.
[33:54.680 --> 33:57.680] But this morning I did call Sergeant Jennifer Wardlow
[33:57.680 --> 33:59.680]  with OCPD,
[33:59.680 --> 34:03.680] and she confirmed pretty much everything that James had said,
[34:03.680 --> 34:07.680] although in the report it says that James had pushed
[34:07.680 --> 34:10.680] the security guard back with one hand on his chest,
[34:10.680 --> 34:13.680] which James had, I heard on the air,
[34:13.680 --> 34:17.680] mentioned a sort of a defensive reaction, but not pushing him,
[34:17.680 --> 34:19.680]  just protecting himself.
[34:19.680 --> 34:23.680] And it's like he ran into his open palm, basically.
[34:23.680 --> 34:25.680] But because of that, they were charging him
[34:25.680 --> 34:28.680] with this assault and battery.
[34:28.680 --> 34:31.680] And there was supposed to be a full report available today.
[34:31.680 --> 34:33.680]  It was not by 5 p.m.
[34:33.680 --> 34:36.680] And I'm going to try again tomorrow to get the full report
[34:36.680 --> 34:38.680] and publish that on Red Dirt Report
[34:38.680 --> 34:41.680]  and cross-post it on oklahomawatchdog.org,
[34:41.680 --> 34:43.680]  another site I run.
[34:43.680 --> 34:47.680] As for Penn Square Mall and the Simon Property Group,
[34:47.680 --> 34:49.680]  I talked to Aless Morris.
[34:49.680 --> 34:52.680]  He's a PIO at their Indianapolis office,
[34:52.680 --> 34:56.680] and this morning he said he'd get some information for me.
[34:56.680 --> 34:59.680] He seemed very friendly, and he asked me who I wrote for.
[34:59.680 --> 35:00.680]  I told him the site.
[35:00.680 --> 35:02.680] He must have checked my story, because by the afternoon
[35:02.680 --> 35:04.680] I called him and he curtly responded
[35:04.680 --> 35:07.680] that there would be no comment at this point.
[35:07.680 --> 35:09.680] And then I asked him about leafletting in the mall
[35:09.680 --> 35:11.680] because they were using these deception dollars
[35:11.680 --> 35:14.680] passing this out, and he again said,
[35:14.680 --> 35:16.680]  I don't have any other comment.
[35:16.680 --> 35:18.680] So that's kind of where they left it.
[35:18.680 --> 35:19.680]  I found that rather odd.
[35:19.680 --> 35:20.680] You would think that they would say,
[35:20.680 --> 35:24.680] well, here's our policy about handing out flyers or whatever.
[35:24.680 --> 35:25.680]  So thank you.
[35:25.680 --> 35:27.680]  Oh, they're afraid that they're going to get sued.
[35:27.680 --> 35:28.680] They know they're going to get sued.
[35:28.680 --> 35:31.680]  That's why he doesn't want to say anything.
[35:31.680 --> 35:35.680] But that was the extent of the report I have today
[35:35.680 --> 35:37.680] on Red Dirt Report, No Global Watchdog.
[35:37.680 --> 35:42.680] And I will be passing along to James and Chris more information
[35:42.680 --> 35:45.680] if I get any from either the police department
[35:45.680 --> 35:47.680]  or Simon Property Group.
[35:47.680 --> 35:49.680] But on the latter, I doubt I'll get anything from them.
[35:49.680 --> 35:51.680] Andrew, I just want to thank you so much
[35:51.680 --> 35:52.680]  for an excellent write-up there.
[35:52.680 --> 35:54.680] You always do such a good job with these articles.
[35:54.680 --> 35:57.680] And I know you've been posted on InfoWars many times.
[35:57.680 --> 36:00.680] And I just want to thank you for all your hard work on that.
[36:00.680 --> 36:03.680] Your article gets special mention on the
[36:03.680 --> 36:07.680]  whatreallyhappened.com, Michael Rivera's website.
[36:07.680 --> 36:09.680]  So you're definitely getting some traction.
[36:09.680 --> 36:11.680] And any exposure is great.
[36:11.680 --> 36:13.680]  Absolutely.
[36:13.680 --> 36:14.680]  Well, I've got to go.
[36:14.680 --> 36:16.680] So best of luck to you guys.
[36:16.680 --> 36:17.680]  And have a great show tonight.
[36:17.680 --> 36:18.680]  Thank you.
[36:18.680 --> 36:19.680]  I hope you all resolve this.
[36:19.680 --> 36:21.680] Thank you, Andrew, for calling in.
[36:21.680 --> 36:22.680] And thank you for your diligence
[36:22.680 --> 36:24.680] and helping us get the word out about this matter.
[36:24.680 --> 36:26.680]  We really appreciate it.
[36:26.680 --> 36:27.680]  Absolutely.
[36:27.680 --> 36:28.680]  All right.
[36:28.680 --> 36:29.680]  You have a good night.
[36:29.680 --> 36:30.680]  Bye.
[36:30.680 --> 36:33.680] Yeah, so when we were in the backseat of the police car
[36:33.680 --> 36:34.680]  and this guy's telling me,
[36:34.680 --> 36:36.680]  I'm the one that's out of touch with reality,
[36:36.680 --> 36:38.680] he starts going through the deception dollars and everything.
[36:38.680 --> 36:42.680] He's like, oh, we got us some acorn liberals here.
[36:42.680 --> 36:44.680]  Acorn liberals?
[36:44.680 --> 36:45.680]  I'm laughing to myself.
[36:45.680 --> 36:49.680]  James, you're like the most conservative guy I know.
[36:49.680 --> 36:51.680] How clueless is this guy?
[36:51.680 --> 36:53.680] And he's saying, I'm the one out of touch with reality.
[36:53.680 --> 36:54.680] What else did he say, Brent?
[36:54.680 --> 36:56.680]  He said we're terrorists,
[36:56.680 --> 36:59.680] and we probably have to call Homeland Security.
[36:59.680 --> 37:02.680] We might call the Treasury for counterfeiting money.
[37:02.680 --> 37:05.680]  You know, this guy's used to dealing with 12- and 13-year-olds,
[37:05.680 --> 37:08.680] not intelligent adults that know their rights.
[37:08.680 --> 37:10.680]  And he's in a completely different realm.
[37:10.680 --> 37:12.680]  It's very unfortunate and very sad.
[37:12.680 --> 37:15.680] It certainly doesn't speak well for the OCPD.
[37:15.680 --> 37:17.680] Well, it sounds like he's in a completely different realm
[37:17.680 --> 37:19.680] in more ways than one.
[37:19.680 --> 37:20.680]  Yeah.
[37:20.680 --> 37:22.680] Well, you know, and the veil threats,
[37:22.680 --> 37:23.680] you know, he kept asking people,
[37:23.680 --> 37:25.680] are you sure you can't find somebody inside
[37:25.680 --> 37:26.680] that got injured over this?
[37:26.680 --> 37:27.680]  Are you sure?
[37:27.680 --> 37:29.680] I mean, he asked at least five or six times.
[37:29.680 --> 37:32.680] In other words, trying to initiate them to pull somebody up
[37:32.680 --> 37:33.680]  that'll say they got hurt.
[37:33.680 --> 37:36.680] I've seen the videos from the floor on this.
[37:36.680 --> 37:38.680] Other activists had cameras, and they took them.
[37:38.680 --> 37:40.680]  People were just laughing.
[37:40.680 --> 37:41.680] I mean, they were having fun with it.
[37:41.680 --> 37:42.680] A few of them were grabbing at the dollars.
[37:42.680 --> 37:44.680] But nobody even bumped into each other,
[37:44.680 --> 37:46.680] much less, you know, caused a riot or anything.
[37:46.680 --> 37:49.680] That's where they were threatening the charges.
[37:49.680 --> 37:51.680] Yeah, he said he's going to be nice
[37:51.680 --> 37:54.680]  and wouldn't charge them with a felony for inciting a riot.
[37:54.680 --> 37:57.680] Wait a minute, James, did you say there were other activists there
[37:57.680 --> 37:58.680]  with video cameras?
[37:58.680 --> 38:00.680]  Not outside.
[38:00.680 --> 38:04.680] This was inside during the actual handing out the flyers.
[38:04.680 --> 38:07.680] Once we were outside, it was just Brent and I,
[38:07.680 --> 38:09.680] and it was really stupid on my part.
[38:09.680 --> 38:13.680] I know to have backup cameras, and I didn't take them this time.
[38:13.680 --> 38:17.680] I just assumed that the other activists were enough backup cameras,
[38:17.680 --> 38:20.680] but we got separated, and we learned a lot of lessons from this.
[38:20.680 --> 38:24.680] I mean, one, it probably wasn't the best idea to begin with,
[38:24.680 --> 38:27.680] but two, you know, having backup cameras,
[38:27.680 --> 38:29.680] and we always say bring a camera,
[38:29.680 --> 38:31.680] but now if they take your camera and just delete the footage
[38:31.680 --> 38:32.680] and nothing happens to them, you know,
[38:32.680 --> 38:34.680] we've got to have another way around that.
[38:34.680 --> 38:36.680] And I think having an iPhone with a quick setup on it
[38:36.680 --> 38:38.680] to where it uploads the video directly to the Internet
[38:38.680 --> 38:40.680]  and cannot be deleted,
[38:40.680 --> 38:43.680] this is what activists that are out in the streets need to do.
[38:43.680 --> 38:46.680] You all have to get this, because they will take your camera.
[38:46.680 --> 38:47.680]  They will lie.
[38:47.680 --> 38:48.680]  They will do everything.
[38:48.680 --> 38:50.680]  I mean, it's the most dirty, unhanded stuff
[38:50.680 --> 38:52.680] that I thought would never happen to me,
[38:52.680 --> 38:54.680] and sure enough, it did.
[38:54.680 --> 38:57.680] So you're saying the way to go is to have an iPhone
[38:57.680 --> 38:59.680] with something called Quick on it
[38:59.680 --> 39:02.680] that uploads the video as you're filming
[39:02.680 --> 39:05.680] so that even if they take it, it's too late.
[39:05.680 --> 39:07.680]  We've already got it documented.
[39:07.680 --> 39:08.680]  Absolutely.
[39:08.680 --> 39:09.680] Then let them dig their hole
[39:09.680 --> 39:11.680] and then come back at them with the footage.
[39:11.680 --> 39:13.680] There you go, because then you can nail them
[39:13.680 --> 39:16.680] for aggravated perjury and things like this.
[39:16.680 --> 39:17.680]  Absolutely.
[39:17.680 --> 39:18.680]  Go ahead, Chris.
[39:18.680 --> 39:20.680]  I'm sorry to interrupt.
[39:20.680 --> 39:22.680] You know, I could see this playing out
[39:22.680 --> 39:24.680] where the district attorney is going to drop all charges
[39:24.680 --> 39:27.680]  because there's just a complete watershed of information
[39:27.680 --> 39:30.680] that's going to exonerate these guys on the charges.
[39:30.680 --> 39:32.680] And then the next step is to go after,
[39:32.680 --> 39:34.680] as you guys have said many times,
[39:34.680 --> 39:36.680] to go after the individuals involved,
[39:36.680 --> 39:39.680] both the police officer as well as the security guard civilly,
[39:39.680 --> 39:42.680] and basically, if not for anything else, tell them,
[39:42.680 --> 39:45.680] you know what, this is not only okay, not okay.
[39:45.680 --> 39:48.680] You're not going to be doing it to any other citizen in Oklahoma City,
[39:48.680 --> 39:50.680] and we're going to make darn sure of that.
[39:50.680 --> 39:52.680] Yeah, go after them civilly and criminally
[39:52.680 --> 39:54.680] and the mall owner, too,
[39:54.680 --> 39:58.680] and get money and get them in front of a grand jury.
[39:58.680 --> 40:03.680] I was going to suggest not suing the officers.
[40:03.680 --> 40:06.680] Yeah, because I wanted to be clear that this is not revenge.
[40:06.680 --> 40:07.680]  I'm not after revenge.
[40:07.680 --> 40:10.680]  Wait, wait, wait, wait.
[40:10.680 --> 40:13.680] Sue the owners of the mall.
[40:13.680 --> 40:17.680] And whoever the officer's direct supervisor is,
[40:17.680 --> 40:24.680] sue him and everyone up the line except the guys on the end of the line.
[40:24.680 --> 40:29.680] Everyone up the line is going to be really kicked off at these guys.
[40:29.680 --> 40:31.680]  They're not even getting sued.
[40:31.680 --> 40:33.680] And you go after them criminally.
[40:33.680 --> 40:34.680]  Yeah.
[40:34.680 --> 40:36.680]  Well, I asked.
[40:36.680 --> 40:39.680] I was demanding that they file charges,
[40:39.680 --> 40:42.680] assault charges against this guy that attacked me.
[40:42.680 --> 40:46.680] Go after the police officer for obstruction of justice
[40:46.680 --> 40:49.680]  and shielding from prosecution.
[40:49.680 --> 40:51.680] Aiding and abetting wouldn't be bad either.
[40:51.680 --> 40:53.680] We got them red-handed on that one.
[40:53.680 --> 40:57.680] One in the world would be kept for two hours in the back of a squad car.
[40:57.680 --> 40:58.680]  That's ludicrous.
[40:58.680 --> 41:01.680]  Because they're going over the video, that's why.
[41:01.680 --> 41:02.680] They were going over the video.
[41:02.680 --> 41:06.680] Yes, and the thing is, James, this isn't about retaliation.
[41:06.680 --> 41:07.680]  This is about justice,
[41:07.680 --> 41:12.680] and we have to go after these guys as hard as we can
[41:12.680 --> 41:16.680] in order to keep this from happening to other people.
[41:16.680 --> 41:17.680]  That's the point.
[41:17.680 --> 41:19.680] This is coming from a place of truth and love.
[41:19.680 --> 41:21.680] I'm not doing this out of fear or anger.
[41:21.680 --> 41:23.680] I'm doing this for the love of my fellow man.
[41:23.680 --> 41:25.680]  I don't want this to happen to anybody else.
[41:25.680 --> 41:27.680]  Good man.
[41:27.680 --> 41:28.680]  Good man.
[41:28.680 --> 41:30.680] This is the one thing I keep saying.
[41:30.680 --> 41:33.680]  Don't go after them because you're angry.
[41:33.680 --> 41:36.680]  Always a bad idea.
[41:36.680 --> 41:40.680] Always know what outcome you want before you go in.
[41:40.680 --> 41:45.680] Because if you go in with the right purpose,
[41:45.680 --> 41:50.680] you are the worst bad news they can ever have.
[41:50.680 --> 41:55.680] Because you're not angry, you're not out to harm anyone,
[41:55.680 --> 41:57.680]  you're out to fix something,
[41:57.680 --> 42:01.680] and if you have to roll over somebody to get to your outcome,
[42:01.680 --> 42:05.680]  sorry, Bubba, you're just cannon fodder.
[42:05.680 --> 42:09.680] This is the strongest posture from which you can go in.
[42:09.680 --> 42:13.680] And as you begin to work them over,
[42:13.680 --> 42:18.680] they'll realize that all the guys on the bottom are cannon fodder.
[42:18.680 --> 42:22.680] And when they got somebody in here they can't deal with
[42:22.680 --> 42:24.680]  who has a higher purpose,
[42:24.680 --> 42:29.680] they don't know how to deal with someone with a higher purpose.
[42:29.680 --> 42:30.680]  And this works.
[42:30.680 --> 42:32.680]  I beat two of them.
[42:32.680 --> 42:34.680] You should have seen the one Deborah worked over.
[42:34.680 --> 42:39.680] A prosecuting attorney, she got him to cop to a felony.
[42:39.680 --> 42:40.680]  Wow.
[42:40.680 --> 42:42.680]  They're chumps.
[42:42.680 --> 42:44.680] When you turn the tables on them,
[42:44.680 --> 42:49.680] when you start right for their throats, everything changes.
[42:49.680 --> 42:52.680] How do I file criminal charges against them
[42:52.680 --> 42:54.680] if the city attorney won't pick it up?
[42:54.680 --> 42:57.680] Oh, we file against the city attorney for shielding from prosecution.
[42:57.680 --> 42:59.680]  Well, I don't know if it would be a city attorney.
[42:59.680 --> 43:01.680]  I don't know how it works in Oklahoma.
[43:01.680 --> 43:03.680]  It's municipal.
[43:03.680 --> 43:05.680]  We don't care about that.
[43:05.680 --> 43:07.680]  The charges you're going to file,
[43:07.680 --> 43:10.680] you're going to file criminal charges with a district attorney.
[43:10.680 --> 43:12.680] Yeah, they're not going to be municipal.
[43:12.680 --> 43:14.680]  They're going to be a lot bigger than municipal.
[43:14.680 --> 43:17.680]  Take them down hard.
[43:17.680 --> 43:23.680] You go to the district attorney, the elected DA,
[43:23.680 --> 43:25.680] with all your hard evidence,
[43:25.680 --> 43:27.680] and if they don't do anything about it,
[43:27.680 --> 43:29.680] then you'll have to go to the grand jury.
[43:29.680 --> 43:30.680]  And there's other ways too.
[43:30.680 --> 43:32.680]  You can go to a magistrate.
[43:32.680 --> 43:34.680]  We've got a whole routine.
[43:34.680 --> 43:36.680]  Yeah, we've got a whole strategy here.
[43:36.680 --> 43:38.680] That's what this whole show is about.
[43:38.680 --> 43:41.680] You guys want to stay on the line with us for a little bit longer?
[43:41.680 --> 43:42.680]  Sure.
[43:42.680 --> 43:43.680]  Okay, great.
[43:43.680 --> 43:45.680] We'll be right back and we'll talk about some more strategies.
[43:45.680 --> 43:47.680] On the other side, this is the rule of law.
[43:47.680 --> 43:50.680] Randy Kelton, Eddie Craig, Deborah Stevens,
[43:50.680 --> 43:52.680] we're here with the Radio Free Oklahoma game.
[43:52.680 --> 43:54.680]  We've got Chris Emory, James Lane,
[43:54.680 --> 43:56.680] and their friend Brent Souther.
[43:56.680 --> 43:58.680]  We'll be right back.
[43:58.680 --> 44:03.680] With freedom and justice in a state of decline
[44:03.680 --> 44:06.680] and intrusive governments enveloping every fabric of our beat,
[44:06.680 --> 44:08.680] we call on you, Texas,
[44:08.680 --> 44:11.680] to take up the cause of defending liberty at any cost.
[44:11.680 --> 44:12.680]  Come one, come all.
[44:12.680 --> 44:15.680] Experience the power of the freedom message
[44:15.680 --> 44:17.680] delivered by two of America's finest patriots,
[44:17.680 --> 44:20.680] Texas gubernatorial candidate Deborah Medina
[44:20.680 --> 44:22.680]  and Sheriff Richard Mack.
[44:22.680 --> 44:26.680]  Join us December 5th from 2 to 4 p.m. at Fultz Middle School,
[44:26.680 --> 44:30.680] located at 300 West Anderson Avenue in Round Rock, Texas.
[44:30.680 --> 44:32.680] Experience the power of the freedom message
[44:32.680 --> 44:35.680] as delivered by Sheriff Richard Mack and Deborah Medina.
[44:35.680 --> 44:39.680] Also speaking will be John Bush of Texans for Accountable Governments
[44:39.680 --> 44:43.680] and Nelson Ramirez of the Central Texas 912 Project.
[44:43.680 --> 44:48.680] Again, that's December 5th from 2 to 4 p.m. at Fultz Middle School in Round Rock, Texas.
[44:48.680 --> 44:51.680]  Visit takebagtexas.org for more info
[44:51.680 --> 44:55.680] and the chance to ride to the event with Sheriff Mack and Deborah Medina.
[44:55.680 --> 44:58.680]  Again, that's takebagtexas.org.
[45:25.680 --> 45:27.680]  I'm a soldier, a warrior of love.
[45:27.680 --> 45:30.680] Scaffolding the keepers of peace.
[45:30.680 --> 45:33.680]  All I'm taking is my misunderstanding.
[45:33.680 --> 45:35.680]  Somebody calls the police.
[45:35.680 --> 45:41.680]  I'm watching the sparks fly.
[45:41.680 --> 45:47.680]  I'm watching the sparks fly.
[45:47.680 --> 45:53.680]  I'm watching the sparks fly.
[45:53.680 --> 46:00.680]  I'm watching the sparks fly.
[46:00.680 --> 46:02.680] The friction is an addiction.
[46:02.680 --> 46:05.680] The hard work can leave you cold as nails.
[46:05.680 --> 46:08.680]  There's a possibility to a tranquility.
[46:08.680 --> 46:11.680] A heavy load of faith and unscathedness.
[46:11.680 --> 46:14.680] The time is calling with the coming.
[46:14.680 --> 46:17.680]  You find out after a while.
[46:17.680 --> 46:20.680] All right, it's not your moral standards.
[46:20.680 --> 46:22.680]  It's just your patience that's on trial.
[46:22.680 --> 46:24.680]  I'm watching the sparks fly.
[46:24.680 --> 46:25.680]  Okay, we are back.
[46:25.680 --> 46:28.680] We've got Holland van den Nieuwenov on the line as well.
[46:28.680 --> 46:32.680] He's one of the other hosts of Radio Free Oklahoma here on the Rule of Law Radio Network.
[46:32.680 --> 46:34.680] Holland, thanks for joining us.
[46:34.680 --> 46:38.680] Well, thank you, Deborah, and thanks to all you guys for bringing attention to this issue
[46:38.680 --> 46:41.680] because I just want to thank you all.
[46:41.680 --> 46:45.680] When this first happened, the first few minutes when we realized that two of our members were missing
[46:45.680 --> 46:47.680] unaccounted for and we realized that they were arrested,
[46:47.680 --> 46:50.680] we pretty much thought we were on our own.
[46:50.680 --> 46:53.680] I'd like to thank you all for your support, bringing your attention to the issue.
[46:53.680 --> 46:56.680] So many people have come forward to help us out.
[46:56.680 --> 47:01.680] For example, today at Penn Square Mall, someone who was not involved in the action but who heard about it,
[47:01.680 --> 47:06.680] he did a one-man protest outside the mall trying to alert the shoppers
[47:06.680 --> 47:10.680] to the Penn Square Mall's attention towards free speech.
[47:10.680 --> 47:16.680] But anyway, I just want to thank you all because, you know, we have to act as a community here.
[47:16.680 --> 47:23.680] And like you said, if we actually act on it and try to press charges and stop this from happening,
[47:23.680 --> 47:25.680] I mean, we can stop it happening across the board.
[47:25.680 --> 47:28.680] If more people would stand up and stand up for the right instead of just saying,
[47:28.680 --> 47:33.680] just saying, plead it out, take your lumps or whatever, these things wouldn't have to happen.
[47:33.680 --> 47:38.680] And let's be honest, all we did was pass out leaflets.
[47:38.680 --> 47:46.680] And for that action, two members of We Are Change were held down and beaten for passing out leaflets.
[47:46.680 --> 47:53.680] And that is a clear violation of the First Amendment, among many other moral principles
[47:53.680 --> 47:57.680] that you just don't hold people down and beat them for handing out leaflets.
[47:57.680 --> 48:00.680] But anyway, I'd just like to thank you all for your support, for bringing attention to the issue,
[48:00.680 --> 48:02.680] and hopefully we can see some good out of it.
[48:02.680 --> 48:04.680]  Absolutely.
[48:04.680 --> 48:08.680] And that was one thing I did want to address also.
[48:08.680 --> 48:14.680] Did I understand correctly when I believe Brent or James was telling me that were you guys
[48:14.680 --> 48:19.680] or was one of y'all actually like kind of like throwing them off the balcony
[48:19.680 --> 48:24.680] and letting them, you know, spiral down to the floor below?
[48:24.680 --> 48:28.680] Yes, there were a couple of different teams.
[48:28.680 --> 48:30.680] The two teams that did do that got away clean.
[48:30.680 --> 48:32.680] We had no idea what had happened.
[48:32.680 --> 48:34.680] James and Brent actually did nothing.
[48:34.680 --> 48:36.680]  They literally did nothing.
[48:36.680 --> 48:38.680] And they're the ones who were held down.
[48:38.680 --> 48:39.680]  Wow.
[48:39.680 --> 48:42.680] Well, I did just want to mention that in the future, you know,
[48:42.680 --> 48:45.680] and this goes out for all activists out there,
[48:45.680 --> 48:50.680] y'all might want to be careful about how you pass out leaflets like that
[48:50.680 --> 48:55.680] because you don't want to do anything at all that could possibly be construed
[48:55.680 --> 49:00.680] as breaking some kind of law or littering or anything like that.
[49:00.680 --> 49:06.680] And that may have been what might have caused the heat to come down in the first place
[49:06.680 --> 49:10.680] is because of the, you know, the throwing off of the balcony and stuff.
[49:10.680 --> 49:18.680] But, I mean, the point is that did not deserve the beating, okay,
[49:18.680 --> 49:23.680] and the stealing of the cameras and all this.
[49:23.680 --> 49:24.680]  I mean, this is ridiculous.
[49:24.680 --> 49:28.680] I mean, the worst that should have happened is the mall security should have said,
[49:28.680 --> 49:30.680] hey, guys, y'all are littering in the mall.
[49:30.680 --> 49:31.680]  Stop it.
[49:31.680 --> 49:32.680]  Go pick them up.
[49:32.680 --> 49:33.680]  Here's a broom.
[49:33.680 --> 49:37.680] You know, go clean up the mess right now or we're going to call the cops.
[49:37.680 --> 49:38.680]  You know, here's a broom.
[49:38.680 --> 49:39.680]  Go sweep it up.
[49:39.680 --> 49:44.680] Don't do this anymore or, you know, maybe eject y'all from the premises or whatever.
[49:44.680 --> 49:49.680] But to hold people down and beat them for throwing leaflets off a balcony,
[49:49.680 --> 49:51.680]  I'm sorry that's over the top.
[49:51.680 --> 49:53.680]  That is extreme.
[49:53.680 --> 49:54.680]  Oh, definitely.
[49:54.680 --> 49:56.680] And we were aware of the risks of the operation we undertook.
[49:56.680 --> 49:59.680] And we bear part of the blame for how it occurred.
[49:59.680 --> 50:04.680] But the fact is we did not know the risk would be, you know, assault.
[50:04.680 --> 50:11.680] We were aware of the line we were crossing, prepared to pay the price for that if indeed we were caught.
[50:11.680 --> 50:16.680] But like you said, this was way out of line and it can be allowed to happen again.
[50:16.680 --> 50:19.680] It was really beyond anything I imagined possible, you know.
[50:19.680 --> 50:23.680] I mean, I've heard about people getting trumped up charges and stuff like that, you know,
[50:23.680 --> 50:26.680] but boy, this is drove at home.
[50:26.680 --> 50:30.680] Yeah, you know, Luke Rutowski getting pulverized and humiliated in Pittsburgh.
[50:30.680 --> 50:34.680] And we've known Luke and this has worked for several years.
[50:34.680 --> 50:40.680] But to sit here in the studio and take down the narrative of these guys and to say, you know what?
[50:40.680 --> 50:42.680]  This is not fake.
[50:42.680 --> 50:43.680] This is the real thing.
[50:43.680 --> 50:47.680] And to see them come out of Connie Lockup completely exhausted from not being,
[50:47.680 --> 50:51.680] I mean, just one thing after another, it's like, holy crap, this happened right here in our backyard.
[50:51.680 --> 50:53.680] We're not going to take this sitting out.
[50:53.680 --> 50:54.680]  You know what?
[50:54.680 --> 50:58.680] I had, I thought of something that, you know, I wanted to ask Randy and Eddie about concerning this,
[50:58.680 --> 51:05.680] especially when I heard that you guys' camera or I guess it was James' camera was stolen.
[51:05.680 --> 51:10.680] And that is, y'all might, let's discuss this with Andy and Reddy.
[51:10.680 --> 51:15.680] I'm sorry, Randy and Eddie, you might want to consider filing lawsuit against the shopping mall owner
[51:15.680 --> 51:22.680] immediately so that you can put in a subpoena, a request for discovery to get the video cameras,
[51:22.680 --> 51:29.680] the security cameras of the mall because they may have security cameras on the outside of the buildings
[51:29.680 --> 51:34.680] that may have captured the beating outside the mall.
[51:34.680 --> 51:39.680] And so y'all may want to get that lawsuit in and get that discovery in immediately
[51:39.680 --> 51:43.680] so that y'all can get those tapes before they get erased.
[51:43.680 --> 51:44.680] Randy, what do you think about that?
[51:44.680 --> 51:48.680] There is a provision in most every set of law.
[51:48.680 --> 51:54.680]  It's, I think it's rule 212, rules of civil procedure.
[51:54.680 --> 51:57.680]  It's called pre-litigation discovery to preserve evidence.
[51:57.680 --> 51:59.680]  Oh, yes, yes.
[51:59.680 --> 52:02.680] And most every state has it in one form or another.
[52:02.680 --> 52:09.680] That's very good advice and the counsel I've already been talking to has said that's important.
[52:09.680 --> 52:12.680] So I think there might already be movement on that.
[52:12.680 --> 52:14.680]  Good, good.
[52:14.680 --> 52:18.680] Now, back to what we were saying earlier though about the city attorney,
[52:18.680 --> 52:22.680] do I go to the city attorney and give them an opportunity to file charges
[52:22.680 --> 52:25.680] or do I go directly to the district attorney?
[52:25.680 --> 52:30.680] I got a way to bushwhack the city attorney and the municipal judge.
[52:30.680 --> 52:41.680] I'm not aware that the city attorney has the authority to prosecute state crimes such as assault.
[52:41.680 --> 52:42.680]  This is a class B misdemeanor.
[52:42.680 --> 52:44.680] This has to go to a higher court.
[52:44.680 --> 52:47.680] Yeah, the city attorney wouldn't be prosecuting things like that.
[52:47.680 --> 52:50.680] City attorneys only prosecute like class C misdemeanors like traffic tickets.
[52:50.680 --> 52:54.680] Yeah, I've covered that already for Texas here.
[52:54.680 --> 52:58.680]  And I'm sure it's the same with Oklahoma.
[52:58.680 --> 53:03.680] So this will be a real judge who knows what the law is.
[53:03.680 --> 53:11.680] And what I suggest you guys do is grab a code of criminal procedure and penal code for Oklahoma
[53:11.680 --> 53:14.680] and just read through it quickly.
[53:14.680 --> 53:16.680]  Take a couple hours.
[53:16.680 --> 53:19.680] Don't try to understand all of it, just read it.
[53:19.680 --> 53:21.680] And then when you've got time, go back and read it again,
[53:21.680 --> 53:25.680] and you'll be better prepared than the prosecutor is.
[53:25.680 --> 53:32.680] And then you start going after them for every tiny little infraction you can find.
[53:32.680 --> 53:34.680] We need to do a show on how to go after them.
[53:34.680 --> 53:40.680] We haven't done the due process in a long time, and we haven't even got to due process here.
[53:40.680 --> 53:43.680] Did you guys go before a magistrate?
[53:43.680 --> 53:45.680]  No, no.
[53:45.680 --> 53:48.680] They just threw us right into county jail.
[53:48.680 --> 53:50.680] They didn't read us our rights or anything.
[53:50.680 --> 53:52.680] What time of day was it?
[53:52.680 --> 53:55.680] Did you ever see a magistrate before you got out of jail?
[53:55.680 --> 53:58.680]  I don't even know what that means.
[53:58.680 --> 54:03.680] Did you go before, I mean, did they just throw you in jail and then at some point a jailer let you out?
[54:03.680 --> 54:04.680] Did you ever actually see?
[54:04.680 --> 54:07.680]  Yep.
[54:07.680 --> 54:12.680] You weren't even on camera for a probable cause hearing or anything?
[54:12.680 --> 54:19.680] No, they just threw us in a cage, and then we used our call to let family know,
[54:19.680 --> 54:21.680] and then they bailed us out the following morning.
[54:21.680 --> 54:25.680] See, the thing is, the county sheriff here, he wants a head count in there.
[54:25.680 --> 54:29.680] Most of the people I was talking to in there were in there for, you know, frivolous stuff.
[54:29.680 --> 54:33.680] One guy was public drunk because he was out on his front porch having a cookout, you know, just things like that.
[54:33.680 --> 54:38.680] They want a head count in there, and they don't allow bell bondsmen to come in until 7 a.m. the next day.
[54:38.680 --> 54:42.680] That way they have a full 24-hour or a full overnight stay from everybody that's in there.
[54:42.680 --> 54:44.680] You need to document that.
[54:44.680 --> 54:47.680] We'll use that in the lawsuit again to name the county.
[54:47.680 --> 54:50.680]  That's incredible. It's Oklahoma County.
[54:50.680 --> 54:52.680] Boy, they're running fast and loose here.
[54:52.680 --> 54:56.680] The DOJ came out with a skating report about that county jail.
[54:56.680 --> 55:01.680] I mean, this room was barely bigger than maybe three closets,
[55:01.680 --> 55:05.680] and they used to stack six or more people in that little room.
[55:05.680 --> 55:09.680] People would actually sleep with their head underneath the toilet and everything.
[55:09.680 --> 55:12.680] Okay, well, that's an overcrowding issue for another...
[55:12.680 --> 55:16.680] I mean, just the procedure, like, you guys, you don't even know what you're in there for.
[55:16.680 --> 55:20.680] Yeah, and everyone was telling us, we can't tell you your charges, just shut up.
[55:20.680 --> 55:25.680] Whoa, whoa, whoa. This is out of control here.
[55:25.680 --> 55:29.680] Yeah, it was one of those things where, you know, it was major intimidation once you were inside.
[55:29.680 --> 55:32.680] I mean, when you were caught up in the mechanism, you know,
[55:32.680 --> 55:38.680] it really didn't serve anybody's interest to try to be troublesome in there.
[55:38.680 --> 55:42.680]  That wouldn't have gone well.
[55:42.680 --> 55:44.680]  Right, and it's never a good idea.
[55:44.680 --> 55:50.680] But the ones you should sue first are the jailers.
[55:50.680 --> 55:55.680] Because they're really the most innocent, and they'll scream the loudest.
[55:55.680 --> 55:58.680]  They'll scream like stuck pigs.
[55:58.680 --> 56:01.680] What did we do? We just followed the rules.
[56:01.680 --> 56:06.680] And you say, well, you know, sorry, Bubba, you touched the door, baby.
[56:06.680 --> 56:08.680]  Oh, boy.
[56:08.680 --> 56:11.680] Well, remember, they've got to sue for that pre-litigation discovery
[56:11.680 --> 56:17.680] for the shopping mall to try to get any video of what happened to them outside the mall
[56:17.680 --> 56:21.680] since they probably destroyed all the footage on James' camera.
[56:21.680 --> 56:31.680] Yeah, and you need a motion to copy the video from the camera they stole from you.
[56:31.680 --> 56:34.680] Yeah, if it still exists.
[56:34.680 --> 56:37.680]  Yeah, hope it doesn't.
[56:37.680 --> 56:41.680] We're still trying to determine, you know, who we're going to pick for counsel.
[56:41.680 --> 56:47.680] I mean, there's a few options, you know, on the table right now.
[56:47.680 --> 56:55.680] My suggestion for the criminal is have them appoint you counsel.
[56:55.680 --> 56:56.680]  Okay.
[56:56.680 --> 56:58.680]  Long silence, okay.
[56:58.680 --> 57:02.680] Didn't we show you how to handle Bubba the attorney?
[57:02.680 --> 57:07.680] Oh, boy, I just finished listening to a jurisdiction show with Frederick Graves,
[57:07.680 --> 57:11.680] and he was going on and on and on about how all the lawyers,
[57:11.680 --> 57:16.680] everyone in his profession, they just make them insinuate out of their own clients,
[57:16.680 --> 57:23.680] and they lead their own clients into horrific scenarios just to lead them on to make more money,
[57:23.680 --> 57:29.680] and they know they're leading them into a dangerous path where they're going to end up losing.
[57:29.680 --> 57:31.680]  I would never hire an attorney.
[57:31.680 --> 57:37.680] At this point in my life, I would go pro se or make them appoint me a court-appointed defense attorney
[57:37.680 --> 57:40.680] and beat up the defense attorney with everything I've got.
[57:40.680 --> 57:45.680] You start hammering that defense attorney, and the first thing he's going to want to do is bail.
[57:45.680 --> 57:52.680] And then when he tries to get the judge to remove him, then you go in and demand that the judge butt out.
[57:52.680 --> 57:56.680] It's none of his business. This is my attorney. You leave him alone.
[57:56.680 --> 57:59.680] And the judge is going to say, you know, but you filed a bar grievance against him.
[57:59.680 --> 58:01.680] Ah, Judge, you know how that is.
[58:01.680 --> 58:06.680] The best mule don't want to work one day. You whack him upside the head with a tube of whore.
[58:06.680 --> 58:09.680] Guaranteed, no attorney, whether you hire him or not.
[58:09.680 --> 58:14.680] I would say especially if you hire him, it's not going to have your best interest.
[58:14.680 --> 58:18.680] I would highly, highly, highly recommend against it.
[58:18.680 --> 58:25.680] Whatever situation with attorney, you've got to call the shots and make sure that you direct the case.
[58:25.680 --> 58:30.680] You've got to direct the case as a pro se, whether you have an attorney or not.
[58:30.680 --> 58:32.680] You have to or else you're going to lose.
[58:32.680 --> 58:33.680] There's just no two ways about it.
[58:33.680 --> 58:35.680] We've got documentation to help with that.
[58:35.680 --> 58:41.680] There's just no two ways about it. You will lose unless you know how to call the shots in your own case.
[58:41.680 --> 58:43.680] So anyways, we're about to go to break.
[58:43.680 --> 58:47.680] Do you guys have any more time or do you all need to go?
[58:47.680 --> 58:49.680]  Yeah, I think that's probably about it.
[58:49.680 --> 58:52.680] But man, thank you guys for all your advice and coverage.
[58:52.680 --> 58:55.680]  Thank you everybody. It's WeAreChangingOurGlobaluma.org.
[58:55.680 --> 58:57.680]  We've got a pitch in, a chip in on the site.
[58:57.680 --> 59:00.680]  All right. We'll be right back.
[59:00.680 --> 59:03.680] This is Debra Stevens from Rule of Law Radio.
[59:03.680 --> 59:09.680] Many of you have been helped by the news and information you've received from 90.1 here in Austin over the years,
[59:09.680 --> 59:11.680]  and now 90.1 needs your help.
[59:11.680 --> 59:18.680] The operators of 90.1 are facing a long and expensive legal battle against the FCC to try to stay on the air,
[59:18.680 --> 59:22.680] with potentially being fined up to $20,000.
[59:22.680 --> 59:25.680] Rule of Law Radio is not associated with 90.1.
[59:25.680 --> 59:30.680] However, we have offered to help with legal matters as best we can and to pass on your donations.

[59:57.680 --> 01:00:00.680]  Thank you, Austin.
[01:00:00.680 --> 01:00:04.680] This news brief brought to you by the International News Net.
[01:00:04.680 --> 01:00:09.680] Afghanistan Saturday increased the pay of police and soldiers by 40%
[01:00:09.680 --> 01:00:15.680] as Western countries aimed to increase the size and quality of Afghan security forces
[01:00:15.680 --> 01:00:18.680] so their own troops can go home.
[01:00:18.680 --> 01:00:22.680]  Dubai's main stock exchange dropped more than 7% Monday,
[01:00:22.680 --> 01:00:28.680] while the Abu Dhabi exchange fell more than 8%, the steepest fall in a year.
[01:00:28.680 --> 01:00:33.680] Last week's financial avalanche was triggered after the conglomerate Dubai World
[01:00:33.680 --> 01:00:40.680]  seek a six-month reprieve on its $60 billion debt amassed during a building spree.
[01:00:40.680 --> 01:00:47.680] Iran announced plans Sunday to build 10 new uranium enrichment plants days after it was condemned by the UN
[01:00:47.680 --> 01:00:53.680] for concealing activities that are feared may be designed to produce an atomic bomb.
[01:00:53.680 --> 01:00:57.680] Sir Richard Dalton, a former British ambassador to Tehran, said,
[01:00:57.680 --> 01:01:04.680] In Britain, a secret letter has been exposed showing how former Prime Minister Tony Blair
[01:01:04.680 --> 01:01:08.680] lied over the legality of the Iraq War.
[01:01:08.680 --> 01:01:12.680] The Chilcot inquiry into the Iraq War will interrogate the former Prime Minister
[01:01:12.680 --> 01:01:17.680] over the smoking gun memo which warned him the war was illegal.
[01:01:17.680 --> 01:01:20.680] The Mail on Sunday reports Attorney General Lord Goldsmith
[01:01:20.680 --> 01:01:25.680] wrote the letter to Blair in July 2002, eight months before the war,
[01:01:25.680 --> 01:01:31.680] telling him that deposing Saddam Hussein was a blatant breach of international law.
[01:01:31.680 --> 01:01:37.680] In response, Blair issued instructions to gag Lord Goldsmith and ordered a cover-up.
[01:01:37.680 --> 01:01:41.680] The Mail says Blair concealed the information even from his own cabinet.
[01:01:41.680 --> 01:01:46.680] The only people told were a handful of cronies who were sworn to secrecy.
[01:01:46.680 --> 01:01:55.680] Goldsmith was so furious he threatened to resign.
[01:01:55.680 --> 01:02:01.680] Osama bin Laden was cornered by US troops in the Afghan mountains in 2001,
[01:02:01.680 --> 01:02:07.680] but US leaders did not deploy enough troops to kill or capture him, according to a new report.
[01:02:07.680 --> 01:02:13.680] A Senate Foreign Relations Committee study blames former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld
[01:02:13.680 --> 01:02:17.680] and former military commander General Tommy Franks for the blunder.
[01:02:17.680 --> 01:02:23.680] Details into the failed hunt for bin Laden are being made public the day before Barack Obama
[01:02:23.680 --> 01:02:30.680] addresses the American people over his plans to send up to 34,000 more troops to Afghanistan.
[01:02:30.680 --> 01:02:37.680] The report says in December 2001 bin Laden was in a cave complex in Tora Bora
[01:02:37.680 --> 01:02:39.680]  before escaping to Pakistan.
[01:02:39.680 --> 01:02:44.680] The report says he arrived there with 1,000 to 1,500 fighters and bodyguards,
[01:02:44.680 --> 01:02:48.680] but the US command had only 100 special forces troops
[01:02:48.680 --> 01:03:17.680] plus some Afghan militiamen to get the al-Qaeda leader.
[01:03:17.680 --> 01:03:42.680] The report says in December 2001 bin Laden was in a cave complex in Tora Bora
[01:03:42.680 --> 01:03:48.680]  before escaping to Pakistan.
[01:03:48.680 --> 01:03:53.680] Okay, we're back for hour two of the rule of law.
[01:03:53.680 --> 01:03:55.680] We're going to be taking your calls now.
[01:03:55.680 --> 01:04:00.680]  If you'd like to call in, 512-646-1984.
[01:04:00.680 --> 01:04:02.680] We have a caller on the line here.
[01:04:02.680 --> 01:04:05.680]  We've got Will from Texas who's been holding quite a while.
[01:04:05.680 --> 01:04:06.680] Will, thanks for calling in.
[01:04:06.680 --> 01:04:08.680]  What's on your mind tonight?
[01:04:08.680 --> 01:04:09.680] Hi, Deborah. How are you doing?
[01:04:09.680 --> 01:04:10.680]  Okay.
[01:04:10.680 --> 01:04:13.680] I have just been trying to prepare for this case.
[01:04:13.680 --> 01:04:15.680]  There's a couple that I've been dealing with,
[01:04:15.680 --> 01:04:21.680] and the one now that is going to court I had filed.
[01:04:21.680 --> 01:04:28.680] This was just a speeding ticket in Elgin Fall Town in Texas
[01:04:28.680 --> 01:04:36.680] and basically filed a challenge to jurisdiction with the order to ask the court to send me a copy.
[01:04:36.680 --> 01:04:38.680] Well, of course, they never sent anything.
[01:04:38.680 --> 01:04:43.680] And I'm looking at all my other pre-trial motions that I can file.
[01:04:43.680 --> 01:04:55.680] The other pre-trial motion that I was going to send was to rescind the judge's not guilty plea that he entered on my behalf.
[01:04:55.680 --> 01:04:58.680]  So I'm looking at that.
[01:04:58.680 --> 01:05:04.680] It just seems like they protect each other at this point, and you can't just go halfway.
[01:05:04.680 --> 01:05:10.680] You've got to go all out against the court because they're all in this together,
[01:05:10.680 --> 01:05:16.680] and it basically leads up to filing suit against the judge, which I'm not really prepared to do.
[01:05:16.680 --> 01:05:19.680] And I just want to get y'all's thoughts on that.
[01:05:19.680 --> 01:05:22.680] Why are you afraid to file suit against the judge?
[01:05:22.680 --> 01:05:25.680] Well, because then he can file against me.
[01:05:25.680 --> 01:05:26.680]  No, he can't.
[01:05:26.680 --> 01:05:27.680]  No, he can't.
[01:05:27.680 --> 01:05:28.680]  He can't do that?
[01:05:28.680 --> 01:05:29.680]  No.
[01:05:29.680 --> 01:05:30.680]  He's a public official.
[01:05:30.680 --> 01:05:33.680] He has no claim on against you.
[01:05:33.680 --> 01:05:34.680]  Okay.
[01:05:34.680 --> 01:05:39.680] Somebody has to have some standing and have a cause of action and show some harm.
[01:05:39.680 --> 01:05:42.680] These are all like basic principles in jurisdiction.
[01:05:42.680 --> 01:05:46.680] You can't just sue somebody just because you feel like it or just because they sued you.
[01:05:46.680 --> 01:05:51.680] You have to prove a specific cause of action and have standing.
[01:05:51.680 --> 01:05:54.680] You have to show that the plaintiff has standing.
[01:05:54.680 --> 01:05:57.680] You have to show the defendant has standing to be sued, all these things.
[01:05:57.680 --> 01:06:00.680] So no, they can't just sue you.
[01:06:00.680 --> 01:06:06.680] I read a suit, a friend of mine, and it was a credit card suit.
[01:06:06.680 --> 01:06:12.680] And the attorney hadn't, he had signed it, but he didn't have it verified.
[01:06:12.680 --> 01:06:18.680] So that means that the document's insufficient to invoke the subject matter jurisdiction of the court.
[01:06:18.680 --> 01:06:22.680] You filed a challenge to the jurisdiction in your case.
[01:06:22.680 --> 01:06:29.680] I filed a cross complaint, or Mark filed a cross complaint against the judge in his case.
[01:06:29.680 --> 01:06:36.680] The judge recused himself and wrote an answer.
[01:06:36.680 --> 01:06:38.680]  It works.
[01:06:38.680 --> 01:06:43.680] So, but the verification has to be?
[01:06:43.680 --> 01:06:49.680] This was a peculiar, it was specific that the law commanded that that particular document be verified.
[01:06:49.680 --> 01:06:50.680]  It wasn't verified.
[01:06:50.680 --> 01:06:57.680] Therefore, it didn't meet the rules, so it wasn't sufficient to invoke subject matter jurisdiction in the court.
[01:06:57.680 --> 01:07:03.680] Eddie has got probably 50 things that keep that judge from having subject matter jurisdiction.
[01:07:03.680 --> 01:07:05.680] All kinds of good things.
[01:07:05.680 --> 01:07:17.680] But even if he did have jurisdiction, when you challenged jurisdiction and he didn't prove up jurisdiction, he lost jurisdiction.
[01:07:17.680 --> 01:07:25.680] Jurisdiction may not be proved, it may not be presumed, it must be proven.
[01:07:25.680 --> 01:07:27.680] So they have to answer to that.
[01:07:27.680 --> 01:07:29.680]  Yes, they do.
[01:07:29.680 --> 01:07:33.680] That arbitrary declaration they make of, oh, well, you bet I have jurisdiction.
[01:07:33.680 --> 01:07:35.680] Well, I'm not betting you have jurisdiction.
[01:07:35.680 --> 01:07:37.680]  I'm betting you can't prove you have jurisdiction.
[01:07:37.680 --> 01:07:43.680] And when he just claims he has it and doesn't prove it up, that's the violation.
[01:07:43.680 --> 01:07:44.680]  That's all you need.
[01:07:44.680 --> 01:07:45.680]  That's enough.
[01:07:45.680 --> 01:07:48.680] But that's enough to file suit against him?
[01:07:48.680 --> 01:07:51.680] Yeah, file a cross complaint against him.
[01:07:51.680 --> 01:07:53.680]  That'll be a hoot.
[01:07:53.680 --> 01:07:57.680] The judge is acting upon a jurisdiction he does not have.
[01:07:57.680 --> 01:08:11.680] And you ask him to recuse himself, and then they appoint somebody else, and you walk in the courtroom and say, oh, judge, I see you drew the short straw today.
[01:08:11.680 --> 01:08:13.680] He drew the short straw.
[01:08:13.680 --> 01:08:14.680]  You're next.
[01:08:14.680 --> 01:08:17.680]  Oh, boy. Oh, boy.
[01:08:17.680 --> 01:08:20.680] Whose time is the verification, though?
[01:08:20.680 --> 01:08:21.680]  That would be a notary.
[01:08:21.680 --> 01:08:23.680] Yeah, you go to a notary and get it done.
[01:08:23.680 --> 01:08:27.680]  In law, in civil, it's called a notary.
[01:08:27.680 --> 01:08:29.680]  In law, it's called a verification.
[01:08:29.680 --> 01:08:33.680] So I have to have that done because that was not done.
[01:08:33.680 --> 01:08:34.680]  OK.
[01:08:34.680 --> 01:08:36.680]  Now, you're different.
[01:08:36.680 --> 01:08:44.680] If you file a petition, now, if you file a criminal complaint, it has to be verified.
[01:08:44.680 --> 01:08:48.680] Well, this is a challenge to jurisdiction with a pretrial motion.
[01:08:48.680 --> 01:08:57.680] If you have, OK, if it's not verified and nobody objects, goes to no harm, no foul.
[01:08:57.680 --> 01:09:06.680] If someone raises an objection to the lack of verification, then you give an opportunity to correct.
[01:09:06.680 --> 01:09:11.680] OK, so then I can move to have that verification completed.
[01:09:11.680 --> 01:09:13.680] Yeah, you can ask the judge to verify it right here.
[01:09:13.680 --> 01:09:17.680] I'll sign it right in front of you, and you can verify it because he's authorized to do that.
[01:09:17.680 --> 01:09:20.680]  That won't come to, that won't become a question.
[01:09:20.680 --> 01:09:21.680]  OK, so.
[01:09:21.680 --> 01:09:26.680] You're not challenging the judge over verification of a document.
[01:09:26.680 --> 01:09:33.680] You're saying he never had jurisdiction to start with for a number of reasons
[01:09:33.680 --> 01:09:39.680] that have nothing to do with whether a document's properly signed or not.
[01:09:39.680 --> 01:09:41.680]  Traffic code doesn't apply.
[01:09:41.680 --> 01:09:46.680] The officer violated the code when he wrote the ticket.
[01:09:46.680 --> 01:09:49.680]  It's administrative procedure.
[01:09:49.680 --> 01:09:53.680] There has to be an administrative hearing first.
[01:09:53.680 --> 01:09:57.680] The head of the attorney can't prosecute, so on and so forth.
[01:09:57.680 --> 01:09:59.680]  Well, they don't, you know, they don't have a complaint.
[01:09:59.680 --> 01:10:00.680]  They don't have an information.
[01:10:00.680 --> 01:10:01.680] They have none of that.
[01:10:01.680 --> 01:10:04.680] And they say, we can't do any of that until we have a plea from you.
[01:10:04.680 --> 01:10:05.680]  No, that's baloney.
[01:10:05.680 --> 01:10:09.680] That must be done before the court has jurisdiction to accept the plea.
[01:10:09.680 --> 01:10:10.680]  Yeah, no kidding.
[01:10:10.680 --> 01:10:14.680] How are you supposed to plea to a charge that hasn't even been concocted yet?
[01:10:14.680 --> 01:10:15.680]  Yeah, that's what I said.
[01:10:15.680 --> 01:10:22.680] I mean, this is the foundations of our very juris imprudence.
[01:10:22.680 --> 01:10:23.680]  Juris prudence.
[01:10:23.680 --> 01:10:24.680]  Juris prudence, sorry.
[01:10:24.680 --> 01:10:27.680] I got juris imprudence on the brain.
[01:10:27.680 --> 01:10:30.680] Actually, it is the foundations of our juris imprudence,
[01:10:30.680 --> 01:10:32.680]  because that's what they're doing.
[01:10:32.680 --> 01:10:34.680]  They're exercising juris imprudence.
[01:10:34.680 --> 01:10:35.680]  Right.
[01:10:35.680 --> 01:10:39.680] And they send a little fine schedule out for beating offenses,
[01:10:39.680 --> 01:10:42.680] and they give you all the little fines amount that you're supposed to send in.
[01:10:42.680 --> 01:10:45.680] But where is the jurisdiction, where in law?
[01:10:45.680 --> 01:10:49.680] And when you ask them, well, show me that, show me what statute I'll violate,
[01:10:49.680 --> 01:10:50.680]  they won't tell you that.
[01:10:50.680 --> 01:10:53.680] The judge says, you have to talk to the attorney,
[01:10:53.680 --> 01:10:55.680] and you have to come back with a plea.
[01:10:55.680 --> 01:10:58.680] No, the complaint in your file, in the court file,
[01:10:58.680 --> 01:11:03.680] there must be a complaint, a verified complaint, signed by the complaining officer.
[01:11:03.680 --> 01:11:07.680] It must contain the statute it accuses you of violating.
[01:11:07.680 --> 01:11:11.680] If it does not, that complaint is invalid on its face
[01:11:11.680 --> 01:11:16.680] because it does not give you enough information to base a defense.
[01:11:16.680 --> 01:11:19.680] It doesn't help produce anything like that.
[01:11:19.680 --> 01:11:24.680] Once you sue the judge, then things change.
[01:11:24.680 --> 01:11:29.680] You file a suit against him, you file a motion to recuse,
[01:11:29.680 --> 01:11:35.680] because now that he's been sued in the case, he has an interest in the outcome.
[01:11:35.680 --> 01:11:37.680]  He must recuse himself.
[01:11:37.680 --> 01:11:40.680] And if he doesn't recuse himself, then it gets real interesting.
[01:11:40.680 --> 01:11:47.680] Then you start hammering on the district attorney to go out and arrest the judge.
[01:11:47.680 --> 01:11:51.680] So is there any other pre-trial motions to file?
[01:11:51.680 --> 01:11:54.680] You didn't come to our seminar, did you?
[01:11:54.680 --> 01:11:55.680]  Yes, I did.
[01:11:55.680 --> 01:11:56.680]  But I missed the first day.
[01:11:56.680 --> 01:11:57.680]  I have the packet.
[01:11:57.680 --> 01:11:58.680]  Oh, okay.
[01:11:58.680 --> 01:12:00.680] Until I was trying to pull all this together.
[01:12:00.680 --> 01:12:02.680] Have you read the packet three times?
[01:12:02.680 --> 01:12:04.680]  Not three times.
[01:12:04.680 --> 01:12:07.680]  I'm reading it.
[01:12:07.680 --> 01:12:08.680]  Read it twice.
[01:12:08.680 --> 01:12:10.680] Don't try to understand it the first time.
[01:12:10.680 --> 01:12:11.680]  Just read through it.
[01:12:11.680 --> 01:12:13.680] And then go back and read it again.
[01:12:13.680 --> 01:12:16.680] And then you kind of put the pieces together.
[01:12:16.680 --> 01:12:19.680] Any other pre-trial motions to file at this time?
[01:12:19.680 --> 01:12:26.680] I mean, he entered a plea of not guilty for me for a trial by jury.
[01:12:26.680 --> 01:12:27.680] What did you file then?
[01:12:27.680 --> 01:12:29.680]  Did you file any pre-trial motions?
[01:12:29.680 --> 01:12:32.680]  Yes, I filed a challenge to jurisdiction.
[01:12:32.680 --> 01:12:35.680] What was the nature of the challenge?
[01:12:35.680 --> 01:12:41.680] The challenge to jurisdiction is where would you read that,
[01:12:41.680 --> 01:12:43.680] the statement of cause or where he's talking about?
[01:12:43.680 --> 01:12:48.680] Yeah, you need to state why you believe he doesn't have jurisdiction.
[01:12:48.680 --> 01:12:54.680] On what grounds are you basing the challenge?
[01:12:54.680 --> 01:13:05.680] Primarily that there is not given a fair examining trial,
[01:13:05.680 --> 01:13:08.680] not being treated properly by the magistrate,
[01:13:08.680 --> 01:13:10.680] not having an examination trial.
[01:13:10.680 --> 01:13:13.680] They just force you to plea.
[01:13:13.680 --> 01:13:15.680] Oh, so you requested an examining trial?
[01:13:15.680 --> 01:13:16.680]  Yes.
[01:13:16.680 --> 01:13:17.680]  Oh, good.
[01:13:17.680 --> 01:13:19.680]  Okay, that's what I've been to.
[01:13:19.680 --> 01:13:20.680]  That's what I've been to.
[01:13:20.680 --> 01:13:23.680] And they just jumped up and down and said, you've got to plea.
[01:13:23.680 --> 01:13:27.680] Okay, now file criminal charges against the judge for official oppression.
[01:13:27.680 --> 01:13:34.680]  Class A misdemeanor, 3903 penal code.
[01:13:34.680 --> 01:13:38.680] Actually, speaking of juris imprudence,
[01:13:38.680 --> 01:13:44.680]  if you'll look on my website, jurisimprudence.com,
[01:13:44.680 --> 01:13:49.680] top frog on the left is a writ of habeas corpus.
[01:13:49.680 --> 01:13:51.680]  You should read that.
[01:13:51.680 --> 01:13:58.680] That will tell you the charges you can file against the judge.
[01:13:58.680 --> 01:14:01.680]  You weren't arrested on the ticket.
[01:14:01.680 --> 01:14:06.680] It has a section in there on an examining trial of what's supposed to be done.
[01:14:06.680 --> 01:14:08.680] And he didn't do any of those things.
[01:14:08.680 --> 01:14:09.680]  No.
[01:14:09.680 --> 01:14:10.680] Who wrote you the ticket?
[01:14:10.680 --> 01:14:12.680]  They haven't done anything.
[01:14:12.680 --> 01:14:14.680] They've just tried to get me to plea.
[01:14:14.680 --> 01:14:18.680] And when I did not plea, he entered a plea of not guilty for me for a jury trial.
[01:14:18.680 --> 01:14:20.680] Who wrote you the ticket?
[01:14:20.680 --> 01:14:21.680]  Officer.
[01:14:21.680 --> 01:14:23.680] Can you be a little more specific?
[01:14:23.680 --> 01:14:24.680]  What officer?
[01:14:24.680 --> 01:14:26.680]  Officer Jimenez.
[01:14:26.680 --> 01:14:27.680]  Department?
[01:14:27.680 --> 01:14:29.680]  Municipal, county or state?
[01:14:29.680 --> 01:14:33.680]  This is a municipality that's outside of a jurisdiction
[01:14:33.680 --> 01:14:37.680] because they don't fall within the guideline, the guide of the traffic code.
[01:14:37.680 --> 01:14:38.680]  Wait a minute, wait a minute.
[01:14:38.680 --> 01:14:41.680] The officer was a municipal police officer?
[01:14:41.680 --> 01:14:42.680]  Yes.
[01:14:42.680 --> 01:14:43.680]  Okay.
[01:14:43.680 --> 01:14:56.680] Then go to Texas Administrative Code Title 37 and find, let's see, Title 37.
[01:14:56.680 --> 01:14:59.680] Let me give you the specific one here.
[01:14:59.680 --> 01:15:05.680]  Part 1, Chapter 4, Subchapter B, Rule 4.13.
[01:15:05.680 --> 01:15:08.680]  Part 1.
[01:15:08.680 --> 01:15:17.680]  Texas Administrative Code, Title 37, Part 1, Chapter 4, Subchapter B, Rule 4.13.
[01:15:17.680 --> 01:15:19.680]  4.13.
[01:15:19.680 --> 01:15:24.680] Subsection A says specifically what the authority to enforce traffic laws of a
[01:15:24.680 --> 01:15:29.680] municipal police officer are as delegated by the Department of Public Safety.
[01:15:29.680 --> 01:15:35.680] 4.13B specifically states what training criteria this officer must have already
[01:15:35.680 --> 01:15:41.680] completed in order to enforce traffic statutes of any kind.
[01:15:41.680 --> 01:15:45.680] This officer most likely has done none of these things.
[01:15:45.680 --> 01:15:52.680] And even if he has, he can still only stop a vehicle that is subject to Chapter 644
[01:15:52.680 --> 01:16:00.680] Texas Transportation Code, the Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Act of Texas.
[01:16:00.680 --> 01:16:05.680] So the first thing you want the prosecutor to tell you is by what authority did
[01:16:05.680 --> 01:16:07.680]  this officer act?
[01:16:07.680 --> 01:16:12.680] And by what probable cause did he determine that my automobile was subject to
[01:16:12.680 --> 01:16:15.680]  Chapter 644 Texas Transportation Code?
[01:16:15.680 --> 01:16:20.680] And until he could verbally make that argument, the officer acted without
[01:16:20.680 --> 01:16:27.680] probable cause to begin with, which makes his entire act unlawful.
[01:16:27.680 --> 01:16:28.680]  Right.
[01:16:28.680 --> 01:16:33.680] The other thing is they just cover each other.
[01:16:33.680 --> 01:16:37.680] Not when you file charges against all of them for doing exactly that, they won't.
[01:16:37.680 --> 01:16:41.680]  Okay.
[01:16:41.680 --> 01:16:42.680]  We've got to go to break.
[01:16:42.680 --> 01:16:43.680]  We'll be right back.
[01:16:43.680 --> 01:16:44.680] Will, you want to hang on the line?
[01:16:44.680 --> 01:16:45.680]  Sure.
[01:16:45.680 --> 01:16:46.680]  Okay.
[01:16:46.680 --> 01:16:47.680]  We've got others, Vincent and more.
[01:16:47.680 --> 01:16:49.680]  We'll be taking your calls in just a moment.
[01:16:49.680 --> 01:17:00.680]  We'll be right back.
[01:17:00.680 --> 01:17:03.680] This is Deborah Stevens from Rule of Law Radio with an update on the Austin
[01:17:03.680 --> 01:17:05.680]  micro-FMs.
[01:17:05.680 --> 01:17:08.680] The outpouring of support for 90.1 has been tremendous.
[01:17:08.680 --> 01:17:12.680] In only two days, Brave New Books has collected over 100 letters and enough
[01:17:12.680 --> 01:17:15.680] donations to cover court costs so far.
[01:17:15.680 --> 01:17:19.680] A lawsuit and petition for restraining order has been filed to stop the FCC from
[01:17:19.680 --> 01:17:23.680] taking any further action until this is sorted out in court.
[01:17:23.680 --> 01:17:26.680] 90.1 will stay on the air for the long haul.
[01:17:26.680 --> 01:17:30.680] Even if the court orders the operators to shut down, we are prepared to appeal
[01:17:30.680 --> 01:17:32.680] all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
[01:17:32.680 --> 01:17:37.680] Now is the time to kick our serving the public interest letter campaign into
[01:17:37.680 --> 01:17:42.680] high gear to go viral so we can build as strong a case as possible.
[01:17:42.680 --> 01:17:46.680] We need your donations to cover future court costs, travel expenses,
[01:17:46.680 --> 01:17:48.680] and possible fines as well.
[01:17:48.680 --> 01:17:52.680] Please go to ruleoflawradio.com to download the letter and donate.
[01:17:52.680 --> 01:17:56.680] Or stop by Brave New Books at 1904 Guadalupe, Suite B.
[01:17:56.680 --> 01:18:00.680] Thank you, Austin, and please continue your support.
[01:18:00.680 --> 01:18:25.680]  Thank you.
[01:18:30.680 --> 01:18:35.680] You put the fear in my pocket, took the money from my hand.
[01:18:35.680 --> 01:18:40.680] Ain't gonna fool me with that same old trick again.
[01:18:40.680 --> 01:19:01.680]  Ain't gonna fool me.
[01:19:01.680 --> 01:19:05.680] Ain't gonna drive me with that same old sucker punch.
[01:19:05.680 --> 01:19:10.680] I get it now, but then I must have been out too much.
[01:19:10.680 --> 01:19:15.680] Back then you had room to move, but now you're feeling the crunch.
[01:19:15.680 --> 01:19:40.680] Ain't gonna get me with that same old sucker punch.
[01:19:40.680 --> 01:19:45.680] Ain't gonna please me with that same old bad dance song.
[01:19:45.680 --> 01:19:50.680] You thought you were right, but now you got it all wrong.
[01:19:50.680 --> 01:19:55.680] It was a weak moment for me, but I had the power all along.
[01:19:55.680 --> 01:20:01.680] Ain't gonna please me with that same old bad dance song.
[01:20:01.680 --> 01:20:02.680]  Okay, we are back.
[01:20:02.680 --> 01:20:06.680] Not gonna fool us with the same old tricks again.
[01:20:06.680 --> 01:20:09.680] We got a few of our own up our sleeves these days.
[01:20:09.680 --> 01:20:15.680] As to your point there, Will, about all of these guys sticking together,
[01:20:15.680 --> 01:20:16.680]  of course they do.
[01:20:16.680 --> 01:20:21.680] They're all buddies, and we use that against them.
[01:20:21.680 --> 01:20:24.680] We get them to do things they're not supposed to to protect each other,
[01:20:24.680 --> 01:20:27.680] and then we go after all of them.
[01:20:27.680 --> 01:20:32.680] You don't have to file as many criminal complaints as Eddie did.
[01:20:32.680 --> 01:20:34.680] How many did you file, Eddie?
[01:20:34.680 --> 01:20:35.680]  481.
[01:20:35.680 --> 01:20:39.680] You can only file 300 if you file them.
[01:20:39.680 --> 01:20:40.680]  Man.
[01:20:40.680 --> 01:20:42.680] But you have to go after them.
[01:20:42.680 --> 01:20:45.680] Good thing there's no filing fees for criminal complaints.
[01:20:45.680 --> 01:20:48.680] It doesn't matter that they stick together, that they try to protect each other.
[01:20:48.680 --> 01:20:51.680] You go after all of them.
[01:20:51.680 --> 01:20:52.680]  Besides, it's a hoot.
[01:20:52.680 --> 01:20:53.680]  And we're gonna move on.
[01:20:53.680 --> 01:20:55.680] We got another caller that's been waiting a long time.
[01:20:55.680 --> 01:20:56.680] Yeah, and also, wait, hold on.
[01:20:56.680 --> 01:20:59.680] I wanted to address Will when you were saying that, you know,
[01:20:59.680 --> 01:21:01.680]  they don't do this and they don't do that.
[01:21:01.680 --> 01:21:04.680] Of course they don't, but actually it works to our advantage that way
[01:21:04.680 --> 01:21:07.680] because the more laws they break, the more mistakes they make,
[01:21:07.680 --> 01:21:09.680] then the stronger our case.
[01:21:09.680 --> 01:21:14.680] So you just have to know the law and know the strategy and just go after these guys.
[01:21:14.680 --> 01:21:17.680] Because of course they're not gonna do what they're supposed to.
[01:21:17.680 --> 01:21:19.680]  They haven't for generations,
[01:21:19.680 --> 01:21:22.680] and that's why we're in our country is in the mess that it's in,
[01:21:22.680 --> 01:21:24.680] and that's why we have to do something about it.
[01:21:24.680 --> 01:21:27.680] But like I said, they make the stupidest mistakes.
[01:21:27.680 --> 01:21:29.680]  They break every law.
[01:21:29.680 --> 01:21:31.680]  They do everything wrong.
[01:21:31.680 --> 01:21:34.680] So it kind of makes our job easier, really.
[01:21:34.680 --> 01:21:37.680] Well, it seems that where it's gonna have to go to appeal to go to county
[01:21:37.680 --> 01:21:40.680] is what it seems like what's gonna happen.
[01:21:40.680 --> 01:21:42.680] Not if you get it dismissed from the get-go.
[01:21:42.680 --> 01:21:44.680]  Well, that's obviously what I'm trying to do.
[01:21:44.680 --> 01:21:46.680] But, I mean, if the judge is not gonna dismiss it on his own,
[01:21:46.680 --> 01:21:49.680] he's there to get revenue, you know.
[01:21:49.680 --> 01:21:53.680] The judge will dismiss it on his own if he doesn't have a choice.
[01:21:53.680 --> 01:21:57.680] And if you show him that the law distinctly shows he doesn't,
[01:21:57.680 --> 01:21:58.680]  he's not gonna continue.
[01:21:58.680 --> 01:22:00.680]  He can't afford to continue.
[01:22:00.680 --> 01:22:03.680]  You're still in a defensive posture.
[01:22:03.680 --> 01:22:06.680]  You're not a sovereign yet.
[01:22:06.680 --> 01:22:07.680]  Sovereigns don't defend.
[01:22:07.680 --> 01:22:10.680] Do you have jurisdictionary yet, Will?
[01:22:10.680 --> 01:22:11.680]  No.
[01:22:11.680 --> 01:22:14.680] Okay, yeah, you definitely need to get jurisdictionary
[01:22:14.680 --> 01:22:16.680] because that's what this whole thing is about,
[01:22:16.680 --> 01:22:22.680] is moving the court and making the judge do what they are required to do,
[01:22:22.680 --> 01:22:24.680] making the judge follow law.
[01:22:24.680 --> 01:22:28.680] Graves is excellent at it, and if you missed his show tonight,
[01:22:28.680 --> 01:22:33.680] he played some excerpts from a seminar he just recently gave.
[01:22:33.680 --> 01:22:38.680] And I'll tell you, it was extremely, extremely powerful.
[01:22:38.680 --> 01:22:40.680] And I'll have that archive posted a little bit later.
[01:22:40.680 --> 01:22:43.680] Yeah, if you don't have jurisdictionary yet, you need to get jurisdictionary.
[01:22:43.680 --> 01:22:48.680] That's why I was saying before the seminar, leading all the way up to the seminar,
[01:22:48.680 --> 01:22:53.680] if you really want to implement these strategies that we taught in the seminar,
[01:22:53.680 --> 01:22:56.680] you really need to have jurisdictionary to teach you the fundamentals
[01:22:56.680 --> 01:22:59.680] and the basics of how to function within the court system.
[01:22:59.680 --> 01:23:01.680]  Right.
[01:23:01.680 --> 01:23:02.680]  All righty.
[01:23:02.680 --> 01:23:03.680]  Okay.
[01:23:03.680 --> 01:23:04.680]  We'll keep working.
[01:23:04.680 --> 01:23:06.680]  Okay, thanks, Will.
[01:23:06.680 --> 01:23:08.680]  Okay, you have a good night.
[01:23:08.680 --> 01:23:11.680] All right, we're going now to Vincent from Texas.
[01:23:11.680 --> 01:23:13.680] And after that, the call board's open,
[01:23:13.680 --> 01:23:17.680]  so callers if you'd like to call in 512-646-1984.
[01:23:17.680 --> 01:23:18.680] Vincent, thanks for calling in.
[01:23:18.680 --> 01:23:20.680]  What's on your mind?
[01:23:20.680 --> 01:23:24.680] Oh, I just had an idea rattling around in my head about that radio station,
[01:23:24.680 --> 01:23:27.680] and I apologize if somebody else has already come up with it.
[01:23:27.680 --> 01:23:31.680] But if I understand the land patent right,
[01:23:31.680 --> 01:23:33.680] once you get the land patent on your land,
[01:23:33.680 --> 01:23:38.680] the sheriff can't set foot on it, let alone serve a warrant on it.
[01:23:38.680 --> 01:23:43.680] So it seemed to me if you got the land patent on the land where the transmitter's located
[01:23:43.680 --> 01:23:51.680] or move it to some land that you do have the land patent on, problem solved.
[01:23:51.680 --> 01:23:52.680]  I don't know about that.
[01:23:52.680 --> 01:23:56.680]  I don't know who's spreading that story that because you have a land patent,
[01:23:56.680 --> 01:23:58.680] the sheriff can't come on your property.
[01:23:58.680 --> 01:24:00.680]  It's just simply not true.
[01:24:00.680 --> 01:24:03.680]  I'm pretty sure I heard it on y'all's show.
[01:24:03.680 --> 01:24:10.680] Whoever said that, it must have been taken out of context or something,
[01:24:10.680 --> 01:24:17.680] but the sheriff has jurisdiction on all the property in the county.
[01:24:17.680 --> 01:24:19.680] And besides, this isn't about the sheriff.
[01:24:19.680 --> 01:24:23.680] This is about the feds, and they don't get warrants to do what they do.
[01:24:23.680 --> 01:24:25.680]  The FCC doesn't operate that way.
[01:24:25.680 --> 01:24:27.680] They operate in maritime law.
[01:24:27.680 --> 01:24:33.680] They function under what's called an in-rim arrest against property.
[01:24:33.680 --> 01:24:37.680] They actually prosecute the equipment, not the person.
[01:24:37.680 --> 01:24:38.680] They don't get warrants from the court.
[01:24:38.680 --> 01:24:40.680]  That's not how they function.
[01:24:40.680 --> 01:24:43.680] We need the sheriff to protect us from the feds,
[01:24:43.680 --> 01:24:45.680] which is probably the last thing they're going to do
[01:24:45.680 --> 01:24:48.680]  unless there's a court order or a protective order or something.
[01:24:48.680 --> 01:24:51.680] But the land patent thing, it's like, yeah,
[01:24:51.680 --> 01:24:55.680] the federal agents are not going to pay attention to that.
[01:24:55.680 --> 01:25:00.680] You have to – we've got to get something very solid in the court system going on.
[01:25:00.680 --> 01:25:01.680]  Okay.
[01:25:01.680 --> 01:25:02.680] Well, I was just throwing it out.
[01:25:02.680 --> 01:25:04.680] Like I said, it may throw a little kink in their plans.
[01:25:04.680 --> 01:25:05.680]  Who knows?
[01:25:05.680 --> 01:25:07.680]  Well, consider the ramifications.
[01:25:07.680 --> 01:25:12.680] You know, if some guy that owns a lot of property gets a land patent on it,
[01:25:12.680 --> 01:25:17.680] he can create – and if the sheriff couldn't enforce law there,
[01:25:17.680 --> 01:25:22.680] he could create his own little country and just do anything he wanted to there.
[01:25:22.680 --> 01:25:24.680] He could drag people in there and enslave them.
[01:25:24.680 --> 01:25:26.680] He could do anything he wanted.
[01:25:26.680 --> 01:25:33.680] It's not reasonable to not allow law enforcement to enforce law,
[01:25:33.680 --> 01:25:36.680] you know, throughout the county.
[01:25:36.680 --> 01:25:40.680]  So anytime something doesn't seem reasonable, it probably isn't.
[01:25:40.680 --> 01:25:43.680] And the other thing about that situation,
[01:25:43.680 --> 01:25:51.680] from what I've looked into concerning land patents, is that it can take a very long time to get a land patent.
[01:25:51.680 --> 01:25:55.680] I mean, somebody's life could be destroyed by the time they got their land patent.
[01:25:55.680 --> 01:26:00.680] And to try to find other locations of people that have land patents,
[01:26:00.680 --> 01:26:05.680] it's hard enough to try to find locations for transmitters in the first place that are decent locations.
[01:26:05.680 --> 01:26:11.680] I mean, and to have to actually narrow the scope to somebody that had a land patent, I mean, forget it.
[01:26:11.680 --> 01:26:14.680] The station would be off the air.
[01:26:14.680 --> 01:26:18.680] And the last show we did on land patents,
[01:26:18.680 --> 01:26:23.680] he was pretty clear that it doesn't even protect you from taxes.
[01:26:23.680 --> 01:26:28.680] Yes, that's what Eric Madsen was saying, that that's not even the whole point.
[01:26:28.680 --> 01:26:37.680] This whole land patent thing that he's about is to somehow establish some kind of common law electors
[01:26:37.680 --> 01:26:44.680] and governors and things like this, which I'm a little bit, honestly,
[01:26:44.680 --> 01:26:49.680] I had to print a disclaimer on the website when I posted the archive because I'm a little concerned
[01:26:49.680 --> 01:26:58.680] that people might misconstrue that as he's after setting up some sort of parallel government or a coup or something,
[01:26:58.680 --> 01:27:04.680] which is actually not the case, but the whole thing is just a little skeptical to me.
[01:27:04.680 --> 01:27:13.680] I mean, I advocate people doing things that are going to help them in their daily lives, you know, functionally.
[01:27:13.680 --> 01:27:18.680] I mean, if people want to become some kind of common law electors and they elect governors and all these things,
[01:27:18.680 --> 01:27:27.680] I mean, that's all fine and well and good, but I don't see how that's really going to help us right here, right now.
[01:27:27.680 --> 01:27:33.680] We need to overthrow the tyranny that is upon us and the fraud that is going on in the county appraisal districts.
[01:27:33.680 --> 01:27:38.680] We need to get these, drag these people in front of grand juries and things like that.
[01:27:38.680 --> 01:27:41.680] So, I mean, I may need to look into it a little bit more.
[01:27:41.680 --> 01:27:46.680] Maybe I'm misinterpreting things, but that's kind of what it sounded like to me, and Randy's right.
[01:27:46.680 --> 01:27:52.680] I mean, just having a land patent is not going to give somebody complete and total autonomy
[01:27:52.680 --> 01:27:57.680] separate from any state, local or county governing authority.
[01:27:57.680 --> 01:28:03.680] I mean, they're not going to just let us set up our own little individual nation states on our own properties.
[01:28:03.680 --> 01:28:06.680] We're still subject to the laws of the state of Texas.
[01:28:06.680 --> 01:28:08.680]  Well, like I said, maybe I misunderstood.
[01:28:08.680 --> 01:28:15.680] Of course, I've gone back and listened to that show several times, and like I said, I was just throwing it out.
[01:28:15.680 --> 01:28:17.680] I thought it might have been an idea somebody hadn't mentioned.
[01:28:17.680 --> 01:28:19.680] Well, yeah, and it is a good idea.
[01:28:19.680 --> 01:28:20.680]  Nobody's mentioned it.
[01:28:20.680 --> 01:28:28.680] It may be something that could help strengthen the case, so we'll look into it, you know.
[01:28:28.680 --> 01:28:41.680] I remember Pat Baker talking about how it would keep the municipal authorities off the property, but that's different.
[01:28:41.680 --> 01:28:43.680] We're not so concerned with the municipal authorities.
[01:28:43.680 --> 01:28:44.680]  We're concerned with the feds.
[01:28:44.680 --> 01:28:51.680] Right, the municipal authorities would have no ordinance authority over the property.
[01:28:51.680 --> 01:28:52.680]  Okay.
[01:28:52.680 --> 01:28:56.680] But the criminal laws of the state would still apply, and that may be worthy.
[01:28:56.680 --> 01:28:59.680] Oh, that's what it was, the municipal.
[01:28:59.680 --> 01:29:00.680]  That's right.
[01:29:00.680 --> 01:29:01.680]  That's right, Vince.
[01:29:01.680 --> 01:29:03.680]  Okay, yeah, that's a good clarification, Randy.
[01:29:03.680 --> 01:29:10.680] The municipal ordinances would not apply, things like building codes, okay?
[01:29:10.680 --> 01:29:13.680]  You can't have your fence higher than 10 feet.
[01:29:13.680 --> 01:29:16.680] You can't paint your house pink, things like that.
[01:29:16.680 --> 01:29:20.680] Municipal ordinance codes would not apply.
[01:29:20.680 --> 01:29:25.680] But criminal law, yes, sorry, you're never going to get around that one.
[01:29:25.680 --> 01:29:29.680] Yeah, and it was like I was in a seminar in Pennsylvania, and somebody was saying,
[01:29:29.680 --> 01:29:36.680] is there anything you can do about a clerk taking a notice of lien from the IRS agent?
[01:29:36.680 --> 01:29:38.680] I said, be careful what you ask for.
[01:29:38.680 --> 01:29:42.680] I don't want that clerk making any decisions about what she takes.
[01:29:42.680 --> 01:29:43.680]  That's not true.
[01:29:43.680 --> 01:29:48.680] I'll take my issue up with who filed it, so be careful what we ask for.
[01:29:48.680 --> 01:29:49.680]  Okay, Vincent.
[01:29:49.680 --> 01:29:51.680]  Y'all keep up the good work.
[01:29:51.680 --> 01:29:52.680]  Thank you, Vincent.
[01:29:52.680 --> 01:29:53.680] Thank you for the call.
[01:29:53.680 --> 01:29:59.680]  We'll be right back.
[01:29:59.680 --> 01:30:02.680] This is Randall Kelton from Rule of Law Radio.
[01:30:02.680 --> 01:30:06.680] Many of you have been helped by the informative programming on 90.1.
[01:30:06.680 --> 01:30:08.680]  Now, 90.1 needs your help.
[01:30:08.680 --> 01:30:13.680] The operators of 90.1 are in a legal battle with the FCC to stay on the air,
[01:30:13.680 --> 01:30:18.680] and they need letters from you listeners testifying that 90.1 serves the public interest
[01:30:18.680 --> 01:30:22.680] by bringing truthful news and information that no other station does.
[01:30:22.680 --> 01:30:25.680] Brave New Books is not associated with the Austin Micros,
[01:30:25.680 --> 01:30:28.680] but they have agreed to help by collecting your letters.
[01:30:28.680 --> 01:30:31.680] Please drop off or mail your letters, too.
[01:30:31.680 --> 01:30:41.680]  Brave New Books, attention, Austin Micros, 90.1, 1904 Guadalupe, Suite B, Austin, Texas, 78705.
[01:30:41.680 --> 01:30:44.680] There are also form letters at the bookstore that folks can just sign.
[01:30:44.680 --> 01:30:50.680] Please help keep 90.1 on the air by getting your letters and Brave New Books as soon as possible.
[01:30:50.680 --> 01:30:54.680] Let the FCC know that 90.1 serves the public interest
[01:30:54.680 --> 01:30:59.680] by bringing truthful news and information that can't be found anywhere else.
[01:30:59.680 --> 01:31:01.680]  Thank you.
[01:31:29.680 --> 01:31:30.680]  Okay, we are back.
[01:31:30.680 --> 01:31:32.680]  We're taking your calls.
[01:31:32.680 --> 01:31:35.680] And, yeah, I just wanted to point out, too, one of the letters that came,
[01:31:35.680 --> 01:31:40.680] actually a beautiful, very sweet card, was from Catherine Albrecht.
[01:31:40.680 --> 01:31:44.680] And she wrote to me basically thanking me.
[01:31:44.680 --> 01:31:45.680]  I don't have it in front of me.
[01:31:45.680 --> 01:31:47.680] I actually have it on my refrigerator.
[01:31:47.680 --> 01:31:51.680] But basically, she wrote to me, she wrote to me, she wrote to me,
[01:31:51.680 --> 01:31:57.680] she wrote to me, she wrote to me, she wrote to me, she wrote to me, she wrote to me, she wrote to me, she wrote to me,
[01:31:57.680 --> 01:31:59.680] I actually have it on my refrigerator.
[01:31:59.680 --> 01:32:02.680] But basically, she was thanking me for everything we do,
[01:32:02.680 --> 01:32:05.680] thanking us for our dedication to the cause of liberty.
[01:32:05.680 --> 01:32:10.680] And she signed it, your grateful friend in Christ, Catherine Albrecht.
[01:32:10.680 --> 01:32:11.680] So I thought that was very sweet.
[01:32:11.680 --> 01:32:15.680] She gave us a donation as well, even though I told her not to.
[01:32:15.680 --> 01:32:24.680] But she's actually willing to come down to Austin and host an event, a rally, and be a keynote speaker, et cetera,
[01:32:24.680 --> 01:32:33.680] and help us in any way possible that we may need to call upon her for the cause of 90.1 because it affects her and her broadcast
[01:32:33.680 --> 01:32:38.680] because much of her listenership is here in Austin listening to 90.1.
[01:32:38.680 --> 01:32:40.680]  So that's very sweet.
[01:32:40.680 --> 01:32:43.680] She's actually been playing some of our PSAs on her show.
[01:32:43.680 --> 01:32:46.680] So that's been going out all over the country as well on her show.
[01:32:46.680 --> 01:32:48.680] So I'm really very grateful for that.
[01:32:48.680 --> 01:32:49.680]  All right.
[01:32:49.680 --> 01:32:51.680] We're going now to Free in Texas.
[01:32:51.680 --> 01:32:53.680] Free, thanks for calling in.
[01:32:53.680 --> 01:32:54.680]  You're fine.
[01:32:54.680 --> 01:32:55.680] Yeah, thanks for taking my call.
[01:32:55.680 --> 01:32:59.680] I had a quick question, and I can actually take the answer after I get done.
[01:32:59.680 --> 01:33:05.680] But Eddie had said something to the previous caller that had called about getting a ticket in a municipality.
[01:33:05.680 --> 01:33:14.680] He had asked to ask the officer what probable cause was he operating that vehicle in a commercial capacity.
[01:33:14.680 --> 01:33:20.680] And what I was wondering was is would a license plate or the vehicle's registration tag give the police officer
[01:33:20.680 --> 01:33:24.680] a probable cause to think that the vehicle is being used in commercial capacity?
[01:33:24.680 --> 01:33:32.680] No, it does not, simply for the same reason that possession of a license does not automatically presume commerce.
[01:33:32.680 --> 01:33:37.680] If you're not actively engaging in commerce, you're not actively using that license.
[01:33:37.680 --> 01:33:43.680] If you're not actively utilizing your vehicle for the purpose of commerce, then you're not engaging in commerce.
[01:33:43.680 --> 01:33:49.680] So unless he actually witnessed this guy pulling over and selling stuff out of the trunk of his car on the side of the road,
[01:33:49.680 --> 01:33:51.680] Wait a minute, he could do that?
[01:33:51.680 --> 01:33:54.680] Well, yes, he could do that. He's not hauling things and so on.
[01:33:54.680 --> 01:34:02.680] That's a haul for hire. A tractor trailer running empty, like if he sees a tractor trailer flat bed and there's nothing on it,
[01:34:02.680 --> 01:34:05.680]  the guy's not in commerce.
[01:34:05.680 --> 01:34:13.680] Okay, but could he, is there any way to connect a probable cause to thinking that he might be in commerce enough to make a traffic stop?
[01:34:13.680 --> 01:34:21.680] I know that once established that he wasn't acting in commerce, then you couldn't really go any further, but could the presumption be there?
[01:34:21.680 --> 01:34:27.680] No, the fact that you could do something wrong is not probable cause.
[01:34:27.680 --> 01:34:34.680] Yeah, that's one of our whole arguments about the FCC and some of this bogus case law that's out there about,
[01:34:34.680 --> 01:34:42.680] well, under some phantasmic science fiction atmospheric condition, so-and-so's, it was a shortwave in this case,
[01:34:42.680 --> 01:34:51.680] radio broadcasts might possibly cross state lines and in that event, it might possibly happen to interfere with somebody else's frequency.
[01:34:51.680 --> 01:35:01.680] Well, maybe and might and something that happens in Mad Max science fiction futuristic scenario is not probable cause. Sorry.
[01:35:01.680 --> 01:35:04.680] It has to be articulatable.
[01:35:04.680 --> 01:35:10.680] It has to be a past event, something that's been witnessed already.
[01:35:10.680 --> 01:35:14.680] That was the question I had. Thanks. You answered it fine. Thank you.
[01:35:14.680 --> 01:35:16.680]  You're welcome.
[01:35:16.680 --> 01:35:28.680] Yes, and it's a very good question, Free, and this shows the mindset that the powers-that-be have fooled the whole nation into thinking, all of us,
[01:35:28.680 --> 01:35:40.680] that they can just do whatever they want and just presume that we're guilty and that presume that we've already done blah, blah, blah.
[01:35:40.680 --> 01:35:46.680] When that's not the case, they have to prove that so-and-so has done such-and-such,
[01:35:46.680 --> 01:35:52.680] not presume that so-and-so might have done or might do such-and-such in the future.
[01:35:52.680 --> 01:35:58.680] That is tyranny. That is the definition of tyranny. We have to put a stop to it.
[01:35:58.680 --> 01:36:03.680] We have to all change our way of thinking about these matters and not tolerate it at all.
[01:36:03.680 --> 01:36:08.680] Okay, we're going to Brian in Pennsylvania.
[01:36:08.680 --> 01:36:11.680] Brian, thanks for calling in. What's on your mind tonight?
[01:36:11.680 --> 01:36:15.680]  Good evening. A few things.
[01:36:15.680 --> 01:36:23.680] Well, I guess, Dean, that you were just talking about in the first of my head, I guess the land patent that the last caller was calling in about
[01:36:23.680 --> 01:36:28.680] and what that had led you to rant on there for a second with the common law electors and what have you.
[01:36:28.680 --> 01:36:34.680] I don't have my notes handy. I'm not really the great speaker that some other people are,
[01:36:34.680 --> 01:36:40.680] but that sounds more to me like what the country was founded to be more so.
[01:36:40.680 --> 01:36:45.680] We got off track in the 1800s and led to where we are now.
[01:36:45.680 --> 01:36:49.680] So yeah, it might not be, like you say, what we need right here right now,
[01:36:49.680 --> 01:36:58.680] but really if we're going to continue the free republic, we really need to really be different individuals.
[01:36:58.680 --> 01:37:00.680]  I don't know how well I can help.
[01:37:00.680 --> 01:37:06.680] Let me explain what my concern with it was. I was sitting in Tim Turner's seminar,
[01:37:06.680 --> 01:37:11.680] and he stopped the seminar to talk about this thing where and what he told us was
[01:37:11.680 --> 01:37:19.680] is that they've already elected congressmen and representatives and senators,
[01:37:19.680 --> 01:37:25.680] and they've even elected a president and they got two generals who's going to go along with them.
[01:37:25.680 --> 01:37:34.680] And I'm sitting here in the front row with a camera in my face listening to Tim Turner talk high treason.
[01:37:34.680 --> 01:37:37.680]  And I'm thinking, what am I doing here?
[01:37:37.680 --> 01:37:42.680] And how did these guys get elected when I didn't know anything about it?
[01:37:42.680 --> 01:37:49.680] So these guys are some special elites who know what's good for all of us,
[01:37:49.680 --> 01:37:56.680] and they can go out on their own and elect for us a congress that will take good care of us.
[01:37:56.680 --> 01:37:58.680] Well, this sounds like the one we're getting rid of.
[01:37:58.680 --> 01:38:04.680] I'm glad you elaborated or expanded on that because that wasn't something I had heard from the context before.
[01:38:04.680 --> 01:38:10.680] Yeah, and this guy came on to talk about land patents and he bushwhacked us.
[01:38:10.680 --> 01:38:18.680] Yeah, and actually later in the show he seemed to fringe upon that same line of talk
[01:38:18.680 --> 01:38:27.680] exactly what Randy just described about Tim Turner, and that's why I had to post a disclaimer for the archive.
[01:38:27.680 --> 01:38:33.680] Because sometimes I get worried that these types of things are a setup, if you know what I mean.
[01:38:33.680 --> 01:38:34.680] That sounded kind of spooky.
[01:38:34.680 --> 01:38:37.680] That made me think of some smelly bugger action, you know?
[01:38:37.680 --> 01:38:38.680]  Yeah.
[01:38:38.680 --> 01:38:39.680] Just thinking he was a good guy.
[01:38:39.680 --> 01:38:41.680] That could have been real bad.
[01:38:41.680 --> 01:38:48.680] I agree with your position that we should be back to that kind of government,
[01:38:48.680 --> 01:38:55.680] but the complaint, the concern I had was the way these guys were going about getting us there.
[01:38:55.680 --> 01:39:01.680] Well, I mean, if somebody has a lot of time on their hands and they don't have any other fights
[01:39:01.680 --> 01:39:07.680] and they live out in a rural area like some of our listeners and they don't have anything better to do,
[01:39:07.680 --> 01:39:12.680]  I mean, getting your land patent is a very time-consuming process.
[01:39:12.680 --> 01:39:14.680] You have to do a lot of research.
[01:39:14.680 --> 01:39:19.680] You have to trace down all the titles and how it's been sold and passed through hands over the years.
[01:39:19.680 --> 01:39:27.680] You've got to trace down genealogy of all the previous owners so that you can find one of the current heirs
[01:39:27.680 --> 01:39:33.680] of whoever owned the patent from generations before so that you can get them to sign it over to you.
[01:39:33.680 --> 01:39:36.680] I mean, it could take years, really.
[01:39:36.680 --> 01:39:40.680] It could absolutely take years.
[01:39:40.680 --> 01:39:42.680] And so if somebody doesn't have anything better to do
[01:39:42.680 --> 01:39:46.680] and it's a project that they want to work on and they've got the time on their hands,
[01:39:46.680 --> 01:39:50.680] I'm not debating that it could be a very worthwhile process.
[01:39:50.680 --> 01:39:56.680] But here in Austin, Texas, as far as me and Randy goes and other people that are close to us,
[01:39:56.680 --> 01:39:58.680]  I don't have time for that.
[01:39:58.680 --> 01:39:59.680]  I'm sorry.
[01:39:59.680 --> 01:40:01.680] It's not going to serve my purpose, not any time soon.
[01:40:01.680 --> 01:40:05.680] I mean, we've got so much on our plate right now.
[01:40:05.680 --> 01:40:11.680] I mean, it's literally like we're fighting off a swarm that is coming at us.
[01:40:11.680 --> 01:40:12.680]  You see what I'm saying?
[01:40:12.680 --> 01:40:13.680]  Yes, Deborah.
[01:40:13.680 --> 01:40:19.680] I just thought the way that the previous caller brought it up was a terrible way to try to exploit a land patent
[01:40:19.680 --> 01:40:27.680] because really what is 90.1 being charged with because they really shouldn't have jurisdiction
[01:40:27.680 --> 01:40:32.680] unless you guys were broadcasting across state lines or were participating in commerce.
[01:40:32.680 --> 01:40:36.680] Was there advertising revenue gotten by 90.1?
[01:40:36.680 --> 01:40:37.680]  That's not the point.
[01:40:37.680 --> 01:40:40.680]  It's the federal jurisdiction.
[01:40:40.680 --> 01:40:46.680] They're charging the operators with violating Part 15, and it's not even a criminal charge.
[01:40:46.680 --> 01:40:50.680]  The FCC is a quasi-adjudicatory body.
[01:40:50.680 --> 01:40:58.680] They have been granted somewhat of an adjudicatory authority by the legislature,
[01:40:58.680 --> 01:41:00.680] and they have their own administrative hearings.
[01:41:00.680 --> 01:41:02.680] They set their own regulations.
[01:41:02.680 --> 01:41:08.680] And if you violate their regulations, they have authority to make their own rulings,
[01:41:08.680 --> 01:41:14.680] and you have to go through this procedure of appealing and writing letters and the notice and demands
[01:41:14.680 --> 01:41:19.680] and all these things with them before you can actually appeal their final decision.
[01:41:19.680 --> 01:41:22.680] And when you do get to the point that you can appeal their final decision,
[01:41:22.680 --> 01:41:28.680] the only court that you can appeal it to is the federal appellate court in Washington, D.C.,
[01:41:28.680 --> 01:41:29.680] which we're going to have to do.
[01:41:29.680 --> 01:41:34.680] Other than that, we're filing lawsuit against them, many lawsuits for that matter,
[01:41:34.680 --> 01:41:36.680] and criminal charges in state courts.
[01:41:36.680 --> 01:41:42.680] What we're trying to do is demonstrate that they have no authority within the state boundary.
[01:41:42.680 --> 01:41:43.680]  Right.
[01:41:43.680 --> 01:41:47.680] And we're trying to generate support for that with all of the...
[01:41:47.680 --> 01:41:50.680] That hasn't already been done in Texas?
[01:41:50.680 --> 01:41:52.680]  Wait, say that again?
[01:41:52.680 --> 01:41:54.680] That hasn't already been done in Texas or that federal district?
[01:41:54.680 --> 01:41:56.680]  Where is 90.1?
[01:41:56.680 --> 01:42:04.680] The way they get jurisdiction on the state territory is just nonsense.
[01:42:04.680 --> 01:42:10.680] One of the primary cases is a guy is transmitting out of Las Vegas,
[01:42:10.680 --> 01:42:15.680] and they say, well, his transmission could only reach about 25 miles,
[01:42:15.680 --> 01:42:22.680] so there's no way it could cross the border, but there could occur an unusual atmospheric anomaly.
[01:42:22.680 --> 01:42:24.680]  That's what I was just talking about a minute ago.
[01:42:24.680 --> 01:42:31.680] And if that anomaly occurred, while he couldn't transmit over 25 miles toward the border,
[01:42:31.680 --> 01:42:37.680] it could somehow transmit up 125 miles to the ionosphere, bounce off the ionosphere,
[01:42:37.680 --> 01:42:42.680] and transmit 125 miles back down to the Earth and land in another state.
[01:42:42.680 --> 01:42:43.680]  That could possibly happen.
[01:42:43.680 --> 01:42:51.680] Therefore, we have jurisdiction to take complete control of all radio transmissions within the entire state.
[01:42:51.680 --> 01:42:52.680]  Within the entire nation.
[01:42:52.680 --> 01:42:59.680] This is a federal court ruling, and so this is the kind of bad case law that we have to unravel.
[01:42:59.680 --> 01:43:04.680] There's case law supporting both sides, but, I mean, this could very well go to the Supreme Court
[01:43:04.680 --> 01:43:09.680] because there's so much case law on both sides saying they do, they don't.
[01:43:09.680 --> 01:43:13.680] It's pretty obvious that they don't, but, I mean, every case is different,
[01:43:13.680 --> 01:43:16.680] so it's just going to have to get worked out in court.
[01:43:16.680 --> 01:43:20.680]  If I could, before I leave again, I know I've asked about them before,
[01:43:20.680 --> 01:43:23.680]  but I still haven't had them on as a guest host.
[01:43:23.680 --> 01:43:27.680] But some of them, hour at a time, could really maybe give you some good keys here,
[01:43:27.680 --> 01:43:30.680] especially with the federal jurisdiction aspect.
[01:43:30.680 --> 01:43:31.680]  Okay, excellent.
[01:43:31.680 --> 01:43:32.680]  Who is that?
[01:43:32.680 --> 01:43:34.680] The hour of the time.
[01:43:34.680 --> 01:43:35.680]  Hour of the time.
[01:43:35.680 --> 01:43:38.680] Do you have contact information for Rick Schramm?
[01:43:38.680 --> 01:43:40.680]  I do, it's just a hotmail, hourofthetime.com.
[01:43:40.680 --> 01:43:43.680] Okay, just email it to me, will you?
[01:43:43.680 --> 01:43:44.680]  Okay.
[01:43:44.680 --> 01:43:46.680] Okay, great, and we will be right back.
[01:43:46.680 --> 01:43:52.680] We've got Janice in Austin and CJ in Maple Grove, one of our affiliates, one of our AM affiliates.
[01:43:52.680 --> 01:43:53.680] We will be right back.
[01:43:53.680 --> 01:43:57.680] This is the Rule of Law.
[01:44:23.680 --> 01:44:27.680]  Again, that's December 5th from 2 to 4 p.m. at Fultz Middle School,
[01:44:27.680 --> 01:44:31.680] located at 300 West Anderson Avenue in Round Rock, Texas.
[01:44:31.680 --> 01:44:36.680] Experience the power of the Freedom Message as delivered by Sheriff Richard Mack and Deborah Medina.
[01:44:36.680 --> 01:44:40.680] Also speaking will be John Bush of Texans for Accountable Governments
[01:44:40.680 --> 01:44:43.680] and Nelson Ramirez of the Central Texas 912 Project.
[01:44:43.680 --> 01:44:49.680] Again, that's December 5th from 2 to 4 p.m. at Fultz Middle School in Round Rock, Texas.
[01:44:49.680 --> 01:44:55.680] TakeBackTexas.org for more info and the chance to ride to the event with Sheriff Mack and Deborah Medina.
[01:44:55.680 --> 01:44:59.680]  Again, that's TakeBackTexas.org.
[01:44:59.680 --> 01:45:27.680] Okay, we know Ja will.
[01:45:27.680 --> 01:45:31.680] He will turn the tide.
[01:45:31.680 --> 01:45:32.680] He will turn the tide.
[01:45:32.680 --> 01:45:35.680] He can push the tempest by.
[01:45:35.680 --> 01:45:38.680] It's he who gave the robin the red breast.
[01:45:38.680 --> 01:45:41.680] He gave the nightingale her song.
[01:45:41.680 --> 01:45:46.680] That's an old Rasta song about the Lord.
[01:45:46.680 --> 01:45:49.680] All right, we are going now to Janice from Austin.
[01:45:49.680 --> 01:45:50.680] Janice, thanks for calling in.
[01:45:50.680 --> 01:45:53.680]  What's on your mind?
[01:45:53.680 --> 01:45:58.680] Well, I'm trying to figure out something I haven't really ever heard you talk about,
[01:45:58.680 --> 01:46:08.680] and that is the people that supply TV, you know, cable TV and DISH TV and all that.
[01:46:08.680 --> 01:46:15.680] I called up the DISH because I just got fed up with the way that cable was so expensive,
[01:46:15.680 --> 01:46:16.680]  and they never listened.
[01:46:16.680 --> 01:46:19.680] They won't make it a price that you can afford.
[01:46:19.680 --> 01:46:28.680] And so DISH was advertising something about $29 for like 150 channels and $39 for more than $200
[01:46:28.680 --> 01:46:31.680] and all this, so I thought maybe I can afford that.
[01:46:31.680 --> 01:46:35.680] So I called them up, and I spoke to a really nice lady.
[01:46:35.680 --> 01:46:42.680] She had a really calm, soothing voice and sounded like she was really understanding everything,
[01:46:42.680 --> 01:46:44.680] and we were discussing all the different things.
[01:46:44.680 --> 01:46:48.680]  And I said, number one, I will not sign a lease.
[01:46:48.680 --> 01:46:49.680] She said, oh, no problem.
[01:46:49.680 --> 01:46:52.680] If you decide you don't like it, you just call them and, you know,
[01:46:52.680 --> 01:46:55.680] either pack it up and take it to them or they'll come get it or something.
[01:46:55.680 --> 01:46:59.680] You know, she sounded like nothing to it, no big deal.
[01:46:59.680 --> 01:47:05.680] So she came up with a price of about $56 a month and everything,
[01:47:05.680 --> 01:47:10.680] so she was typing it all in so that I'd get my discount right away and everything.
[01:47:10.680 --> 01:47:17.680] And then when the man shows up, I find, oh, by the way, she also, I thought, you know,
[01:47:17.680 --> 01:47:20.680] I was discussing that it was going to be including Internet.
[01:47:20.680 --> 01:47:25.680] When he shows up, I find out it not only wasn't including Internet,
[01:47:25.680 --> 01:47:30.680] but they hadn't even contacted the Internet people and everything.
[01:47:30.680 --> 01:47:34.680]  So I find out I'm only getting the TV,
[01:47:34.680 --> 01:47:40.680] and they're wanting to start out with two whole months worth at $90 instead of the $56.
[01:47:40.680 --> 01:47:44.680] Had you already signed a contract where the terms were stated
[01:47:44.680 --> 01:47:47.680] as something different before they came out?
[01:47:47.680 --> 01:47:48.680]  There was no signature.
[01:47:48.680 --> 01:47:50.680] They just showed up, you know, and I talked to them,
[01:47:50.680 --> 01:47:54.680] and it was like the next day or two days later or something, and they just showed up.
[01:47:54.680 --> 01:48:01.680] Okay, so the terms of agreement that were agreed upon over the phone were different
[01:48:01.680 --> 01:48:04.680] than the terms of agreement when they showed up?
[01:48:04.680 --> 01:48:05.680]  Exactly.
[01:48:05.680 --> 01:48:08.680] When they show up, everything is totally different.
[01:48:08.680 --> 01:48:15.680] And then I read an email where they say, oh, it's a two-year lease and all that stuff.
[01:48:15.680 --> 01:48:19.680]  Well, I hadn't read any emails before because there's some times
[01:48:19.680 --> 01:48:22.680] that I don't get on my email for two weeks.
[01:48:22.680 --> 01:48:23.680]  I don't know.
[01:48:23.680 --> 01:48:26.680]  Without a signed contract with just a verbal discussion, I mean,
[01:48:26.680 --> 01:48:32.680] you may be able to allege in court that it was a verbal agreement.
[01:48:32.680 --> 01:48:38.680] It would be difficult to really enforce, though, unless the conversation was recorded
[01:48:38.680 --> 01:48:40.680]  and you had the person's name.
[01:48:40.680 --> 01:48:46.680] I mean, this sounds like you're alleging that you had made a contract with the company,
[01:48:46.680 --> 01:48:50.680] but then they violated the contract, but you would have to show.
[01:48:50.680 --> 01:48:54.680] Randy, what do you have to say about this?
[01:48:54.680 --> 01:48:56.680]  Bait and switch.
[01:48:56.680 --> 01:48:59.680] But she would have to prove that it was different somehow.
[01:48:59.680 --> 01:49:02.680] And this is a bait and switch where they bait you with one deal,
[01:49:02.680 --> 01:49:05.680] they come out to try to push off another.
[01:49:05.680 --> 01:49:08.680] Did they install the equipment?
[01:49:08.680 --> 01:49:13.680] They installed the equipment, and I had asked the lady, you know,
[01:49:13.680 --> 01:49:16.680] did it work with Tevo and blah, blah, blah.
[01:49:16.680 --> 01:49:18.680] And she said, oh, yeah, no problem.
[01:49:18.680 --> 01:49:20.680] It works with Tevo and all these things.
[01:49:20.680 --> 01:49:26.680] Well, when a guy comes, you know, I'm telling him to hook up the Tevo.
[01:49:26.680 --> 01:49:33.680] I'm sitting there for four hours arguing with the people on the telephone,
[01:49:33.680 --> 01:49:36.680] and the man does all the fixing of it and everything
[01:49:36.680 --> 01:49:39.680] and gets it all ready and comes in and makes me and says,
[01:49:39.680 --> 01:49:42.680]  this isn't a contract, this is just signing, I was here,
[01:49:42.680 --> 01:49:46.680] and races out of there and says, oh, yeah, it's all hooked up with the Tevo.
[01:49:46.680 --> 01:49:49.680] Well, things were not hooked up right.
[01:49:49.680 --> 01:49:55.680] For four weeks afterwards, I still couldn't even get one of the TVs to work at all.
[01:49:55.680 --> 01:49:59.680]  This is a civil issue.
[01:49:59.680 --> 01:50:01.680] Yeah, this is mainly a civil matter.
[01:50:01.680 --> 01:50:08.680] Yeah, you should probably file something with the local JP.
[01:50:08.680 --> 01:50:15.680] They only cost about 25 bucks, and then they'll send these guys a summons.
[01:50:15.680 --> 01:50:17.680] And when they get the summons,
[01:50:17.680 --> 01:50:22.680] they will probably go to a lot of trouble to make sure you're happy.
[01:50:22.680 --> 01:50:24.680]  That's probably the best way.
[01:50:24.680 --> 01:50:26.680] I want to talk to you, JP.
[01:50:26.680 --> 01:50:30.680] They sent me a bill, and it wasn't the price that it was supposed to be,
[01:50:30.680 --> 01:50:32.680]  and I didn't pay it.
[01:50:32.680 --> 01:50:36.680] And then they come after arguing several different times,
[01:50:36.680 --> 01:50:39.680] they come back, well, the sexual one we made a lot lower.
[01:50:39.680 --> 01:50:44.680] Now instead of the $290 ones, they're going to make that $56.
[01:50:44.680 --> 01:50:50.680] Well, I just hadn't paid it because I was so aggravated with all the lies.
[01:50:50.680 --> 01:50:54.680] Actually, to the man, when I was talking with him on the phone,
[01:50:54.680 --> 01:50:59.680] I said, is there anything that was correct that was not a lie
[01:50:59.680 --> 01:51:01.680]  from between the discussion?
[01:51:01.680 --> 01:51:04.680]  It's like it's a totally different deal.
[01:51:04.680 --> 01:51:06.680]  I was in fury.
[01:51:06.680 --> 01:51:14.680] What I suggest is call the company and ask where their corporate office is,
[01:51:14.680 --> 01:51:16.680] and get a number for corporate office,
[01:51:16.680 --> 01:51:21.680] call the corporate office and ask for the name of the president.
[01:51:21.680 --> 01:51:24.680] And they'll ask you if there's a problem, and you tell them,
[01:51:24.680 --> 01:51:33.680] no, I'm just doing a report for a college class on different TV companies,
[01:51:33.680 --> 01:51:37.680] and get his name, and then call back and ask for him by name.
[01:51:37.680 --> 01:51:39.680]  You won't get him.
[01:51:39.680 --> 01:51:42.680]  You'll get his secretary.
[01:51:42.680 --> 01:51:46.680] And the president's not the most powerful guy in the building.
[01:51:46.680 --> 01:51:48.680]  His secretary is.
[01:51:48.680 --> 01:51:54.680] The president has to be politically correct, and he has to schmooze.
[01:51:54.680 --> 01:51:57.680]  His secretary doesn't.
[01:51:57.680 --> 01:52:02.680] When you get through chewing her out, she will chew out everybody,
[01:52:02.680 --> 01:52:03.680]  and it'll get fixed.
[01:52:03.680 --> 01:52:07.680] Yeah, you will get your way when you get to the secretary
[01:52:07.680 --> 01:52:10.680] of the president of the company.
[01:52:10.680 --> 01:52:12.680]  There's no question about that.
[01:52:12.680 --> 01:52:16.680] Randy has experience with this directly.
[01:52:16.680 --> 01:52:17.680]  You're the sovereign.
[01:52:17.680 --> 01:52:18.680]  You're the boss.
[01:52:18.680 --> 01:52:20.680]  You don't want to talk to a peon.
[01:52:20.680 --> 01:52:24.680] The guy who owns the company, who has his investment in the company,
[01:52:24.680 --> 01:52:26.680] they never tell him how they're screwing up.
[01:52:26.680 --> 01:52:29.680] They'll be giving you six months free services to make you happy.
[01:52:29.680 --> 01:52:31.680] But yeah, definitely this is a civil matter,
[01:52:31.680 --> 01:52:35.680] and the best thing to do is to take it to the head of the company first
[01:52:35.680 --> 01:52:40.680] and foremost, after that, like Randy says, go to the local JP.
[01:52:40.680 --> 01:52:44.680] But these kinds of issues, it's difficult for us to deal with on this show
[01:52:44.680 --> 01:52:49.680] unless you had a signed contract that they violated.
[01:52:49.680 --> 01:52:52.680] If you had something like that, then we could better help you,
[01:52:52.680 --> 01:52:54.680]  because then you'd have a cause of action,
[01:52:54.680 --> 01:52:58.680] and there would be very specific ways to put together a lawsuit.
[01:52:58.680 --> 01:53:00.680] Okay, we need to move ahead a little bit.
[01:53:00.680 --> 01:53:02.680] Yes, we do, because we only have five minutes left,
[01:53:02.680 --> 01:53:03.680] and we've got one of our affiliates online.
[01:53:03.680 --> 01:53:05.680] All right, thank you, Janice.
[01:53:05.680 --> 01:53:09.680] Okay, we're going now to CJ in Maple Grove.
[01:53:09.680 --> 01:53:10.680] CJ, thanks for calling in.
[01:53:10.680 --> 01:53:12.680]  What's on your mind tonight?
[01:53:12.680 --> 01:53:14.680]  Hey, what's going on, guys?
[01:53:14.680 --> 01:53:18.680] We're back from Thanksgiving, stuffed with turkey.
[01:53:18.680 --> 01:53:19.680]  Stuffed with turkey.
[01:53:19.680 --> 01:53:21.680] It's always good to get a little stuffing in you.
[01:53:21.680 --> 01:53:22.680]  Yep, yep.
[01:53:22.680 --> 01:53:24.680] So what do you got for us tonight?
[01:53:24.680 --> 01:53:25.680]  All right.
[01:53:25.680 --> 01:53:30.680] I've been doing some research on your situation on the FCC.
[01:53:30.680 --> 01:53:33.680] How is your station set up?
[01:53:33.680 --> 01:53:37.680] Can we set it up in a peer trust in contract form?
[01:53:37.680 --> 01:53:40.680]  Because I know a guy that's still running his radio station,
[01:53:40.680 --> 01:53:46.680] and he beat the FCC with a, what, 2,000-watt system,
[01:53:46.680 --> 01:53:51.680] and he's still operating his system today on the same panel.
[01:53:51.680 --> 01:53:54.680] And he put it all in a peer trust in contract form.
[01:53:54.680 --> 01:53:55.680]  Excellent.
[01:53:55.680 --> 01:54:02.680] I have case law supporting the creation and structures of trust.
[01:54:02.680 --> 01:54:04.680]  Do you want to?
[01:54:04.680 --> 01:54:05.680]  We absolutely want to.
[01:54:05.680 --> 01:54:08.680] Can you get him in contact with us?
[01:54:08.680 --> 01:54:09.680]  Yeah, we can.
[01:54:09.680 --> 01:54:11.680]  I do business with this guy.
[01:54:11.680 --> 01:54:15.680] I'm promoting him right now because he set up Liberty Radio in one,
[01:54:15.680 --> 01:54:18.680] and all the funds and everything is on the private side.
[01:54:18.680 --> 01:54:19.680]  Okay, excellent.
[01:54:19.680 --> 01:54:21.680]  Yeah, we're very interested in that.
[01:54:21.680 --> 01:54:25.680] So anybody out there looking to do stuff and start a business,
[01:54:25.680 --> 01:54:28.680] do not file anymore with the corporation.
[01:54:28.680 --> 01:54:32.680] Look into a peer trust in contract form.
[01:54:32.680 --> 01:54:38.680] There's, like, over 200 case laws supporting the creation of the
[01:54:38.680 --> 01:54:43.680] structuring of the trust and how the Constitution will protect you
[01:54:43.680 --> 01:54:44.680]  against them.
[01:54:44.680 --> 01:54:47.680] They have no right over the airways.
[01:54:47.680 --> 01:54:51.680] The guy that will set you guys up, he will give you his case,
[01:54:51.680 --> 01:54:53.680] how he beat them, and you can beat them the same way.
[01:54:53.680 --> 01:54:54.680]  Wonderful.
[01:54:54.680 --> 01:54:57.680] Always walk through the minefield.
[01:54:57.680 --> 01:54:58.680]  When going through a minefield,
[01:54:58.680 --> 01:55:01.680] walk through the footsteps of a man that's already made it through.
[01:55:01.680 --> 01:55:03.680]  Absolutely.
[01:55:03.680 --> 01:55:07.680] So this is really cool info.
[01:55:07.680 --> 01:55:08.680]  Can you e-mail me, Deb?
[01:55:08.680 --> 01:55:10.680]  Or I think I got your e-mail.
[01:55:10.680 --> 01:55:11.680] Yeah, you can click on my e-mail.
[01:55:11.680 --> 01:55:14.680] I have your phone number too, CJ.
[01:55:14.680 --> 01:55:15.680] Yeah, you should call me afterwards.
[01:55:15.680 --> 01:55:17.680] In fact, why don't you just stay on the line,
[01:55:17.680 --> 01:55:20.680] and we can talk to you off the air after the show.
[01:55:20.680 --> 01:55:22.680] Yeah, because this stuff is really, really hot.
[01:55:22.680 --> 01:55:24.680] For what you've got going on right now,
[01:55:24.680 --> 01:55:27.680] they cannot penetrate the veil of the trust.
[01:55:27.680 --> 01:55:28.680]  Wonderful.
[01:55:28.680 --> 01:55:30.680]  That's excellent.
[01:55:30.680 --> 01:55:31.680]  Yeah.
[01:55:31.680 --> 01:55:32.680]  That's wonderful news.
[01:55:32.680 --> 01:55:35.680]  One thing I didn't mention today,
[01:55:35.680 --> 01:55:40.680] the guy who we filed the action against in 2016.
[01:55:40.680 --> 01:55:41.680] Randy worked this guy over.
[01:55:41.680 --> 01:55:44.680] He actually talked to the FCC agent today.
[01:55:44.680 --> 01:55:50.680] Last week I called the Houston office and left a message.
[01:55:50.680 --> 01:55:55.680] I found a number on one of the documents this guy had filed,
[01:55:55.680 --> 01:55:58.680]  and I called the number and left a message,
[01:55:58.680 --> 01:56:00.680] told him that I had some documents for him,
[01:56:00.680 --> 01:56:03.680]  that I needed his fax number,
[01:56:03.680 --> 01:56:07.680] and if he would call me and I gave my number and give me the fax number,
[01:56:07.680 --> 01:56:11.680]  I'd send him a love letter.
[01:56:11.680 --> 01:56:14.680] So he called me today.
[01:56:14.680 --> 01:56:17.680] He's in love with you now, right?
[01:56:17.680 --> 01:56:19.680]  Oh, I think so.
[01:56:19.680 --> 01:56:21.680] He asked me what this was about.
[01:56:21.680 --> 01:56:26.680] I said, well, I have a couple of friends that have a couple of churches,
[01:56:26.680 --> 01:56:29.680] and they want to be able to transmit to their local congregation,
[01:56:29.680 --> 01:56:31.680]  but the FCC's in the way,
[01:56:31.680 --> 01:56:38.680] so considering the nature of the political climate at the moment
[01:56:38.680 --> 01:56:42.680] with all of these states filing these Tenth Amendment initiatives,
[01:56:42.680 --> 01:56:48.680] I think it's a good time to take on the FCC and get them thrown out of the state.
[01:56:48.680 --> 01:56:49.680]  And he said, well...
[01:56:49.680 --> 01:56:51.680] Everybody needs to do that.
[01:56:51.680 --> 01:56:52.680]  We all need to.
[01:56:52.680 --> 01:56:56.680] Every radio station in America needs to bind together.
[01:56:56.680 --> 01:56:58.680]  I don't care if they're full fledged or not.
[01:56:58.680 --> 01:57:02.680] They are paying them criminals hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars
[01:57:02.680 --> 01:57:04.680] to be on the air, and they don't have to.
[01:57:04.680 --> 01:57:06.680]  They don't own the airways.
[01:57:06.680 --> 01:57:07.680]  Exactly.
[01:57:07.680 --> 01:57:09.680]  Okay, I told the guy a whopper, okay?
[01:57:09.680 --> 01:57:11.680]  I was fibbing about all that.
[01:57:11.680 --> 01:57:16.680] And he said, well, you need to take that to Washington, D.C.
[01:57:16.680 --> 01:57:20.680]  I'm just a low-level enforcement officer.
[01:57:20.680 --> 01:57:22.680] I said, oh, no, no, no, that's not the reason.
[01:57:22.680 --> 01:57:25.680] The problem is I need to gather a bunch of information,
[01:57:25.680 --> 01:57:29.680] and trying to do it with the FOIAs, all you get is a lot of song and dance
[01:57:29.680 --> 01:57:31.680] and sales are down your pants.
[01:57:31.680 --> 01:57:33.680]  It's a lot better if I do it with Discovery.
[01:57:33.680 --> 01:57:35.680] It has a lot more teeth in it.
[01:57:35.680 --> 01:57:36.680]  Yeah.
[01:57:36.680 --> 01:57:37.680]  And you're my point man.
[01:57:37.680 --> 01:57:39.680] Yeah, you've got to put full disclosure on there.
[01:57:39.680 --> 01:57:43.680] When you put full disclosure, boy, they don't like that.
[01:57:43.680 --> 01:57:45.680]  Well, I told him, you're my point man.
[01:57:45.680 --> 01:57:50.680] And there was this really long silence.
[01:57:50.680 --> 01:57:52.680]  Well, okay, that's okay.
[01:57:52.680 --> 01:57:54.680]  See you later, Bubba.
[01:57:54.680 --> 01:57:57.680] And you don't want to hit him with a negative avertment?
[01:57:57.680 --> 01:57:59.680]  No.
[01:57:59.680 --> 01:58:00.680]  You don't like them?
[01:58:00.680 --> 01:58:02.680]  No, I don't need to.
[01:58:02.680 --> 01:58:04.680] This guy has no subject matter jurisdiction.
[01:58:04.680 --> 01:58:07.680]  That's where I want it.
[01:58:07.680 --> 01:58:11.680] We ain't talking about anything until you show me you have authority to stand
[01:58:11.680 --> 01:58:13.680]  and do what you're doing.
[01:58:13.680 --> 01:58:15.680]  Okay, listen, we've got to go.
[01:58:15.680 --> 01:58:16.680] This is the end of the show.
[01:58:16.680 --> 01:58:17.680] CJ, stay on the line.
[01:58:17.680 --> 01:58:19.680] We'll talk to you off the air, okay?
[01:58:19.680 --> 01:58:20.680]  You bet.
[01:58:20.680 --> 01:58:22.680] Okay, this is the rule of law.
[01:58:22.680 --> 01:58:25.680]  We'll be back on Thursday night.
[01:58:25.680 --> 01:58:28.680] We've got Randy Kelton, Eddie Craig, Deborah Stevens.
[01:58:28.680 --> 01:58:33.680] Oh, and Steve, the financial analyst, will be back this Friday for a full four hours.
[01:58:33.680 --> 01:58:35.680]  He is back.
[01:58:35.680 --> 01:58:41.680] So make sure you guys and gals tune in this coming Friday for Steve,
[01:58:41.680 --> 01:58:45.680] the financial analyst, who's got a lot of good updates for us.
[01:58:45.680 --> 01:58:49.680] Tomorrow night, we've got Tom Kiley, Agenda 21, Richard Reeves' new show,
[01:58:49.680 --> 01:58:53.680] Outside the Box Politics on Wednesday night, Radio Free Oklahoma.
[01:58:53.680 --> 01:58:59.680]  We'll see you guys tomorrow night.
[01:58:59.680 --> 01:59:04.680] This is Deborah Stevens from Rule of Law Radio with an update on the Austin MicroFM.
[01:59:04.680 --> 01:59:08.680] The outpouring of support for 90.1 has been tremendous.
[01:59:08.680 --> 01:59:11.680] In only two days, Brave New Books has collected over 100 letters
[01:59:11.680 --> 01:59:14.680] and enough donations to cover court costs so far.
[01:59:14.680 --> 01:59:18.680] A lawsuit and petition for restraining order has been filed to stop the FCC
[01:59:18.680 --> 01:59:22.680] from taking any further action until this is sorted out in court.
[01:59:22.680 --> 01:59:25.680] 90.1 will stay on the air for the long haul.
[01:59:25.680 --> 01:59:28.680] Even if the court orders the operators to shut down,
[01:59:28.680 --> 01:59:31.680] we are prepared to appeal all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
[01:59:31.680 --> 01:59:36.680] Now is the time to kick our Serving the Public Interest letter campaign
[01:59:36.680 --> 01:59:41.680] into high gear to go viral so we can build as strong a case as possible.
[01:59:41.680 --> 01:59:44.680] We need your donations to cover future court costs,
[01:59:44.680 --> 01:59:47.680] travel expenses, and possible fines as well.
[01:59:47.680 --> 01:59:51.680] Please go to ruleoflawradio.com to download the letter and donate
[01:59:51.680 --> 01:59:55.680] or stop by Brave New Books at 1904 Guadeloupe, Suite B.
[01:59:55.680 --> 01:59:59.680] Thank you Austin, and please continue your support.
