they just throw it out the window in court just because it's a contract and it's not a, quote, real trust.

Well, if the contract satisfies all the restrictions and requirements of a statutory trust,

you don't like the fact that I created this private contract trust entity.

It's a statutory trust because, look, all the terms and conditions of the original paperwork

satisfy all the restrictions and regulations as laid out in the statutory trust law.

the court demanded the documents of the trust,

And so I believe what you were telling me is that he brought the original private contract trust documents

Yeah, that's back in the 90s when we were in Dallas in our trust study group,

Each one belonged to a different trust.

Somebody got injured, tried to sue him, said, look, it's in the trust.

You've got to sue the trust, not mine.

And so they tried to sue the trust, and that was the end of the lawsuit right there.

And see, the reason that I'm interested in whether or not it may also qualify as a statutory trust

is to get at the personal assets of the trustee, okay, that that's the goal, all right?

This isn't a real trust entity.

Well, at that point, if you could show that the original trust contract documents

satisfied the requirements and regulations with statutory trust, then you could say, well, guess what?

It's a statutory trust, so now do something about it.

and actually in this case, they were trying to find out the financials of the trust.

I said, you know, I'm a trustee of a trust.

But anyway, she was trying, this judge was trying to find out the financials of the trust.

Even the name of the trust, they didn't know.
