[00:00:51.000 --> 00:00:55.000] The Electronic Frontier Foundation and Access and Privacy International [00:00:55.000 --> 00:01:00.000] have launched a new campaign centered around 13 policies they say governments must follow [00:01:00.000 --> 00:01:03.000] to protect human rights in the digital world. [00:01:03.000 --> 00:01:07.000] The necessary and proportionate principles are being supported by a number of organizations. [00:01:07.000 --> 00:01:11.000] The completed petition will be delivered to the United Nations. [00:01:11.000 --> 00:01:18.000] Leadership in Boston has ended the use of license plate readers [00:01:18.000 --> 00:01:23.000] following an accidental release of sensitive personal information to the Boston Globe. [00:01:23.000 --> 00:01:27.000] The newspaper reports the Boston Police Department in July [00:01:27.000 --> 00:01:34.000] accidentally turned over an unredacted list of more than 68,000 unredacted license plate numbers. [00:01:34.000 --> 00:01:38.000] Now the police department has indefinitely suspended the use of the technology. [00:01:38.000 --> 00:01:47.000] Russian scientists are pushing to see a 10-year moratorium put in place on the use of GMOs. [00:01:47.000 --> 00:01:51.000] Russia Today reports a temporary ban would allow time for a thorough study [00:01:51.000 --> 00:01:55.000] on the effects and influence that GMOs have on human health. [00:01:55.000 --> 00:02:01.000] In September, Russia endorsed the rules for the state registration of GMO and GMO-containing products. [00:02:01.000 --> 00:02:05.000] Around the same time, Russian authorities temporarily suspended the import and sale [00:02:05.000 --> 00:02:10.000] of Monsanto's genetically modified corn after a French study suggested it may be linked to cancer. This is the Monday night Rule of Law Radio Traffic Show [00:04:34.000 --> 00:04:39.000] and this is your host, Eddie Craig. It is December 16th, 2013. [00:04:39.000 --> 00:04:45.000] We are rapidly approaching Christmas and the New Year at a bullet train rate. [00:04:45.000 --> 00:04:50.000] Now, I've got some things I want to go over real quick in the first part of the show tonight. [00:04:50.000 --> 00:04:54.000] I've done this in the past, but I'm getting enough emails and questions and everything else [00:04:54.000 --> 00:04:57.000] that I feel a need to go over it again. [00:04:57.000 --> 00:05:09.000] What I want to do again tonight is cover the legal basis and evidence as to why ordinances are not law [00:05:09.000 --> 00:05:14.000] and cannot be enforced as law. [00:05:14.000 --> 00:05:17.000] It's really very simple. [00:05:17.000 --> 00:05:25.000] Provided, of course, you have a valid state constitution, which argumentatively many states do not, [00:05:25.000 --> 00:05:31.000] Texas, at least in the 1836 version, does. [00:05:31.000 --> 00:05:38.000] And if any of them do, and possibly one or two others, but they're few and far between. [00:05:38.000 --> 00:05:51.000] But in any regard, in Article 3, Sections 29 through 39, we specifically spoke out and stated [00:05:51.000 --> 00:06:03.000] how the legislature, and only the legislature, was authorized to create a binding general law. [00:06:03.000 --> 00:06:06.000] And it goes through it step by step. [00:06:06.000 --> 00:06:13.000] It has to be originated in one of the two houses of the legislature, for instance, and etc., etc. [00:06:13.000 --> 00:06:18.000] And what I want to do real quick is I'm going to go to some of those sections in the article [00:06:18.000 --> 00:06:25.000] and I'm going to read you what it says, and I'm going to ask you how an ordinance meets that criteria. [00:06:25.000 --> 00:06:32.000] And I'm willing to bet you're going to find out that it doesn't, and it can't possibly. [00:06:32.000 --> 00:06:33.000] All right? [00:06:33.000 --> 00:06:39.000] It's very simple how all this works as far as what we said they could do and how they had to do it [00:06:39.000 --> 00:06:43.000] and how they're not doing any of it. [00:06:43.000 --> 00:06:48.000] Article 3, Section 29, Enacting Clause of Laws. [00:06:48.000 --> 00:06:57.000] The enacting clause of all laws shall be, be it enacted by the legislature of the state of Texas. [00:06:57.000 --> 00:07:01.000] Ordinances are not created by the legislature. [00:07:01.000 --> 00:07:06.000] Statutes are, well, the statutes aren't either. [00:07:06.000 --> 00:07:10.000] The statutes are approved, but they're not created by the legislature. [00:07:10.000 --> 00:07:19.000] They're created by the agency as an interpretation of the actual bill that the law is written into [00:07:19.000 --> 00:07:23.000] that was passed by the legislature and signed by the governor. [00:07:23.000 --> 00:07:30.000] So a statute is nothing more than an agency reinterpretive rewrite of the actual bill, [00:07:30.000 --> 00:07:38.000] which is the reason why the statute cannot be introduced in court as evidence of law either. [00:07:38.000 --> 00:07:42.000] Any more than an ordinance can. [00:07:42.000 --> 00:07:50.000] Now, with that, like I say, this says that every law has to have this enacting clause in it. [00:07:50.000 --> 00:07:58.000] Well, there's not a code published in Texas right now that has a single enactment as far as statute is concerned [00:07:58.000 --> 00:08:01.000] that contains this clause. [00:08:01.000 --> 00:08:03.000] Not one. [00:08:03.000 --> 00:08:06.000] That's your first piece of evidence that a statute is not law. [00:08:06.000 --> 00:08:10.000] Second thing is no ordinance has it either. [00:08:10.000 --> 00:08:12.000] That is your first piece of evidence. [00:08:12.000 --> 00:08:17.000] An ordinance is not binding law. [00:08:17.000 --> 00:08:25.000] Section 30 of Article 3, laws passed by bill, amendments changing purpose. [00:08:25.000 --> 00:08:30.000] No law shall be passed except by bill. [00:08:30.000 --> 00:08:34.000] An ordinance is not passed by bill. [00:08:34.000 --> 00:08:44.000] A statute is not created by bill except as a bill approving the changes by the agency. [00:08:44.000 --> 00:08:53.000] But it's not the actual bill that created the enactment upon which the statute is based. [00:08:53.000 --> 00:09:00.000] Furthering Section 30, and no bill shall be so amended in its passage through either house [00:09:00.000 --> 00:09:05.000] as to change its original purpose. [00:09:05.000 --> 00:09:16.000] Now, what this means is that they cannot alter the subject matter of a bill by amendment. [00:09:16.000 --> 00:09:19.000] It doesn't matter if it's during its original enactment. [00:09:19.000 --> 00:09:24.000] It doesn't matter if it's 30 years later or 70 years later. [00:09:24.000 --> 00:09:35.000] They cannot change the purpose, i.e., the subject matter of a bill by amendment. [00:09:35.000 --> 00:09:42.000] Therefore, they cannot do it by statutory rewrite either. [00:09:42.000 --> 00:09:51.000] So, neither of those would be proper to create binding law if that's how it was done. [00:09:51.000 --> 00:09:56.000] Section 31, origination in either house, amendment. [00:09:56.000 --> 00:10:00.000] Bills may originate in either house. [00:10:00.000 --> 00:10:04.000] Well, statutes, again, don't originate in the house. [00:10:04.000 --> 00:10:11.000] They're rewrites, and they are submitted to be brought forward for the legislature to vote on [00:10:11.000 --> 00:10:16.000] as approving the rewrite. [00:10:16.000 --> 00:10:24.000] Ordinances don't originate by bill and, therefore, do not originate in either house of the legislature. [00:10:24.000 --> 00:10:31.000] Your third piece of evidence that an ordinance is not binding law. [00:10:31.000 --> 00:10:43.000] Continuing Section 31, and when passed by such house may be amended, altered, or rejected by the other. [00:10:43.000 --> 00:10:47.000] Well, the legislature does not vote on ordinances. [00:10:47.000 --> 00:10:55.000] Therefore, it does not meet any of the criteria for amendment, alteration, or rejection by either house of the legislature. [00:10:55.000 --> 00:11:01.000] Point number four proving that an ordinance is not binding law. [00:11:01.000 --> 00:11:08.000] Section 32, reading on three several days, suspension of rule. [00:11:08.000 --> 00:11:14.000] Now, this one will get a little bit complicated because of the suspension of rule requirement. [00:11:14.000 --> 00:11:20.000] But I've been through it before, and I'll try to go through it again tonight in a reasonable time frame. [00:11:20.000 --> 00:11:28.000] No bill shall have the force of a law until it has been read on three several days in each house [00:11:28.000 --> 00:11:32.000] and free discussion allowed thereon. [00:11:32.000 --> 00:11:40.000] No ordinance has been read on three several days in either house of the legislature, [00:11:40.000 --> 00:11:45.000] nor has any free discussion therein be allowed. [00:11:45.000 --> 00:11:52.000] That is your fifth point proving that an ordinance is not binding law. [00:11:52.000 --> 00:12:01.000] But for fifths, continuing Section 32, of the house in which the bill may be pending may suspend this rule. [00:12:01.000 --> 00:12:05.000] Again, that's the reading of three several days rule. [00:12:05.000 --> 00:12:12.000] The yeas and nays being taken on the question of suspension and entered upon the journals. [00:12:12.000 --> 00:12:24.000] Now, here is why this particular section gets complicated as far as how they're doing it versus what they're allowed to do. [00:12:24.000 --> 00:12:29.000] You can see here that this was actually amended November 2nd of 1999. [00:12:29.000 --> 00:12:35.000] And if you go back and read it, the amended portion is the four-fifths suspension. [00:12:35.000 --> 00:12:38.000] It is not the requirement for the reading. [00:12:38.000 --> 00:12:44.000] It is the four-fifths suspension of the requirement for the reading. [00:12:44.000 --> 00:12:46.000] Okay? [00:12:46.000 --> 00:12:53.000] Now, since that amendment was added November 2nd of 1999, here is the problem. [00:12:53.000 --> 00:12:54.000] Okay? [00:12:54.000 --> 00:12:58.000] Temporary transition provisions are also noted for Section 32. [00:12:58.000 --> 00:13:04.000] If we go all the way down to the temporary transition provisions, which is in another part of the Constitution, [00:13:04.000 --> 00:13:10.000] and I'm not going to pull that up right this minute because we don't need to go into that just yet. [00:13:10.000 --> 00:13:18.000] But when you read some of this, you're going to find out that they cannot alter other parts of the Constitution by amending one section. [00:13:18.000 --> 00:13:27.000] And because they cannot do that, otherwise they'd be able to completely rewrite the Constitution by amending one piece [00:13:27.000 --> 00:13:34.000] and then saying because that piece is newer, it overrides the other part where no amendment was ever intended. [00:13:34.000 --> 00:13:37.000] You see the tricks they could play with this if we let them get away with it? [00:13:37.000 --> 00:13:39.000] Well, we're not. [00:13:39.000 --> 00:13:48.000] So since Section 32 cannot alter any other section unless there's express language here doing so, [00:13:48.000 --> 00:13:52.000] then the presumption is it can't be done. [00:13:52.000 --> 00:13:58.000] So let's talk a minute about the suspension of that three several days rule. [00:13:58.000 --> 00:14:10.000] When you go all the way down, you will find, I believe it's either Section 62, yeah, Section 62 of Article 3. [00:14:10.000 --> 00:14:16.000] And here's where the three several days rule kicks in to its full force and effect. [00:14:16.000 --> 00:14:24.000] Section 62 is titled Continuity of State and Local Governmental Operations Suspension of Constitutional Procedural Rules. [00:14:24.000 --> 00:14:30.000] 29 through 39, folks, is the Constitutional Procedural Rules. [00:14:30.000 --> 00:14:39.000] So this section right here directly addresses the suspension of the rules enumerated in 29 through 39. [00:14:39.000 --> 00:14:49.000] Subsection A of Section 62, the legislature, in order to ensure continuity of state and local governmental operations [00:14:49.000 --> 00:14:57.000] in periods of emergency resulting from disasters caused by enemy attack. [00:14:57.000 --> 00:14:59.000] Got that? [00:14:59.000 --> 00:15:05.000] That is your first condition on this continuity of government, [00:15:05.000 --> 00:15:13.000] that it must be a period of emergency resulting from disasters caused by enemy attack. [00:15:13.000 --> 00:15:14.000] Got it? [00:15:14.000 --> 00:15:20.000] We will further substantiate the claim that that condition is relevant a little further down. [00:15:20.000 --> 00:15:29.000] Shall have the power and the immediate duty to provide for prompt and temporary succession to the powers and duties of public offices [00:15:29.000 --> 00:15:35.000] of whatever nature and whether filled by election or appointment. [00:15:35.000 --> 00:15:42.000] So again, the prerequisite to doing these things regarding powers and duties of public offices [00:15:42.000 --> 00:15:51.000] and filling them by election or appointment are dependent upon the state of emergency due to enemy attack. [00:15:51.000 --> 00:15:53.000] Okay? [00:15:53.000 --> 00:16:01.000] The incumbents of which may become unavailable for carrying on the powers and duties of such officers, [00:16:01.000 --> 00:16:09.000] meaning that because of an enemy attack and the disaster that follows, existing officers could be killed, [00:16:09.000 --> 00:16:15.000] trapped somewhere and unable to perform their duties, captured and unable to perform their duties, [00:16:15.000 --> 00:16:21.000] any number of things that would prevent them from acting in their official capacity to perform their official duty. [00:16:21.000 --> 00:16:26.000] So this is a contingency plan for if that should happen. [00:16:26.000 --> 00:16:33.000] But the contingency plan is strictly relying upon the fact that the reason they can't appear and do their job [00:16:33.000 --> 00:16:37.000] is because of disasters resulting from an enemy attack. [00:16:37.000 --> 00:16:40.000] We'll keep going on now on the other side of this break. [00:16:40.000 --> 00:16:42.000] This is Rule of Law Radio. [00:16:42.000 --> 00:16:44.000] I am your host, Eddie Craig. [00:16:44.000 --> 00:16:47.000] It is December 16, 2013. [00:16:47.000 --> 00:16:54.000] Folks, we are going to rock and roll this evening and try to get everything lined out on how this ordinance crap works. [00:19:01.000 --> 00:19:11.000] You are listening to the Logos Radio Network. [00:19:11.000 --> 00:19:36.000] [Music] [00:19:36.000 --> 00:19:38.000] Alright, folks, we are back. [00:19:38.000 --> 00:19:42.000] Alright, let's continue this on and see where we get to. [00:19:42.000 --> 00:19:44.000] [Music] [00:19:44.000 --> 00:19:49.000] Provided, however, now again, this is Article 3, Section 62, Texas Constitution. [00:19:49.000 --> 00:19:55.000] We are reading the last sentence of the first paragraph of Subsection A. [00:19:55.000 --> 00:20:02.000] Provided, however, that Article 1 of the Constitution of Texas, known as the Bill of Rights, [00:20:02.000 --> 00:20:09.000] shall not be in any manner affected, amended, impaired, suspended, repealed, or suspended hereby. [00:20:09.000 --> 00:20:14.000] Now, folks, if you've watched the action of our courts and our executive, [00:20:14.000 --> 00:20:21.000] not to mention the attempts by the legislative, to subvert our Texas Bill of Rights, [00:20:21.000 --> 00:20:28.000] you would notice that this is exactly what they're attempting to do with the way they are passing these bills in Texas, [00:20:28.000 --> 00:20:34.000] is they're using this emergency enactment power to supersede the rights of the people. [00:20:34.000 --> 00:20:39.000] The problem is that the emergency reason they're stating for passing these bills [00:20:39.000 --> 00:20:43.000] without the three-day reading requirement is bogus. [00:20:43.000 --> 00:20:49.000] And this section right here, 62, is going to show you exactly how and why it's bogus. [00:20:49.000 --> 00:20:56.000] Subsection B is where that really kicks into high gear and proof positive is shown. [00:20:56.000 --> 00:20:59.000] Section 62(b) of Article 3. [00:20:59.000 --> 00:21:06.000] When such a period of emergency or the immediate threat of enemy attack exists, [00:21:06.000 --> 00:21:14.000] the legislature may suspend procedural rules imposed by this Constitution that relate to, [00:21:14.000 --> 00:21:20.000] 1) the order of business of the legislature, [00:21:20.000 --> 00:21:27.000] 2) the percentage of each house of the legislature necessary to constitute a quorum, [00:21:27.000 --> 00:21:37.000] 3) the requirement that a bill must be read on three days in each house before it has the force of law, [00:21:37.000 --> 00:21:44.000] 4) the requirement that a bill must be referred to and reported from committee before its consideration, [00:21:44.000 --> 00:21:51.000] and 5) the date on which laws passed by the legislature take effect. [00:21:51.000 --> 00:22:01.000] Now folks, right here is when such a period of emergency, again, what such period? [00:22:01.000 --> 00:22:05.000] Well, that's addressed in the very first part of this in (a), [00:22:05.000 --> 00:22:12.000] a period of emergency resulting from disasters caused by enemy attack. [00:22:12.000 --> 00:22:14.000] Okay? [00:22:14.000 --> 00:22:23.000] When such a period of emergency or the immediate threat of enemy attack exists, [00:22:23.000 --> 00:22:32.000] that's the criteria for suspending any portion of the procedural rules listed in 1 through 5 under subsection (b). [00:22:32.000 --> 00:22:35.000] Hmm. [00:22:35.000 --> 00:22:47.000] Subsection (c), when such a period, and again, disasters caused by enemy attack or imminent enemy attack, [00:22:47.000 --> 00:22:51.000] when such a period of emergency or the immediate threat of enemy attack exists, [00:22:51.000 --> 00:22:59.000] the governor, after consulting with the lieutenant governor and the speaker of the House of Representatives, [00:22:59.000 --> 00:23:07.000] may suspend the constitutional requirement that the legislature hold its sessions in Austin, the seat of government. [00:23:07.000 --> 00:23:19.000] Now right there you can see that so far, the only power given to the governor on suspending any part of what the constitutional requirements are [00:23:19.000 --> 00:23:25.000] is limited to where the legislature can hold its sessions. [00:23:25.000 --> 00:23:28.000] That's it. [00:23:28.000 --> 00:23:34.000] The second sentence of subsection (c), when this requirement has been suspended, [00:23:34.000 --> 00:23:40.000] the governor shall determine a place other than Austin at which the legislature will hold its sessions [00:23:40.000 --> 00:23:46.000] during such period of emergency or immediate threat of enemy attack. [00:23:46.000 --> 00:23:51.000] The governor shall notify the lieutenant governor and the speaker of the House of Representatives [00:23:51.000 --> 00:23:55.000] of the place and time at which the legislature will meet. [00:23:55.000 --> 00:24:00.000] The governor may take security precautions consistent with the state of emergency [00:24:00.000 --> 00:24:05.000] in determining the extent to which that information may be released. [00:24:05.000 --> 00:24:09.000] And that's all there is to subsection (c). [00:24:09.000 --> 00:24:18.000] Subsection (d), to suspend the constitutional rules specified by subsection (b) of this section, [00:24:18.000 --> 00:24:28.000] the governor must issue a proclamation and the House of Representatives and the Senate must concur in the proclamation [00:24:28.000 --> 00:24:34.000] as provided by this section. [00:24:34.000 --> 00:24:40.000] So in order to suspend any of the procedural rules listed in subsection (b), [00:24:40.000 --> 00:24:45.000] which are the procedural rules of section 29 through 39, [00:24:45.000 --> 00:24:50.000] the governor must first issue a proclamation and that proclamation must be agreed upon [00:24:50.000 --> 00:24:57.000] by the lieutenant governor and the speaker of the House of Representatives. [00:24:57.000 --> 00:24:59.000] Okay. [00:24:59.000 --> 00:25:08.000] Subsection (e), the governor's proclamation must declare that a period of emergency resulting from disasters [00:25:08.000 --> 00:25:12.000] caused by enemy attack exists. [00:25:12.000 --> 00:25:16.000] That has to be directly stated in the proclamation. [00:25:16.000 --> 00:25:18.000] Okay. [00:25:18.000 --> 00:25:20.000] Continuing on. [00:25:20.000 --> 00:25:26.000] Or that the immediate threat of enemy attack exists. [00:25:26.000 --> 00:25:31.000] And that suspension of constitutional rules relating to legislative procedure [00:25:31.000 --> 00:25:38.000] is necessary to assure continuity of state government. [00:25:38.000 --> 00:25:44.000] The proclamation must specify the period not to exceed two years [00:25:44.000 --> 00:25:52.000] during which the constitutional rules specified by subsection (b) of this section are suspended. [00:25:52.000 --> 00:25:57.000] Subsection (f), the House of Representatives and the Senate, [00:25:57.000 --> 00:26:02.000] by concurrent resolution approved by the majority of the members present, [00:26:02.000 --> 00:26:07.000] must concur in the governor's proclamation. [00:26:07.000 --> 00:26:11.000] A resolution of the House of Representatives and the Senate [00:26:11.000 --> 00:26:14.000] concurring in the governor's proclamation [00:26:14.000 --> 00:26:18.000] suspends the constitutional rules specified by subsection (b) of this section [00:26:18.000 --> 00:26:24.000] for the period of time specified by the governor's proclamation. [00:26:24.000 --> 00:26:30.000] Subsection (g), the constitutional rules specified by subsection (b) of this section [00:26:30.000 --> 00:26:35.000] may not be suspended for more than two years under a single proclamation. [00:26:35.000 --> 00:26:38.000] A suspension may be renewed, however, [00:26:38.000 --> 00:26:43.000] if the governor issues another proclamation as provided by subsection (e) of this section [00:26:43.000 --> 00:26:48.000] and the House of Representatives and the Senate, by concurrent resolution, [00:26:48.000 --> 00:26:52.000] concur in that proclamation. [00:26:52.000 --> 00:27:00.000] Folks, guess what has not been done and has not occurred in Texas? [00:27:00.000 --> 00:27:03.000] Ever! [00:27:03.000 --> 00:27:07.000] In order for these rules to be suspended. [00:27:07.000 --> 00:27:11.000] There has never been a suspension [00:27:11.000 --> 00:27:15.000] due to imminent threat of enemy attack [00:27:15.000 --> 00:27:22.000] or as a disaster resulting from an enemy attack. [00:27:22.000 --> 00:27:23.000] Okay? [00:27:23.000 --> 00:27:25.000] Now, why is that a big deal? [00:27:25.000 --> 00:27:29.000] Well, it's a big deal because [00:27:29.000 --> 00:27:36.000] the Texas legislature has enacted numerous [00:27:36.000 --> 00:27:40.000] bills that have passed through before it [00:27:40.000 --> 00:27:49.000] using an unconstitutional and therefore absolutely unlawful and illegal emergency clause. [00:27:49.000 --> 00:27:53.000] And I don't know if I'll be able to look it up and for you guys to keep hearing me [00:27:53.000 --> 00:27:55.000] because I won't be able to do it while I'm typing and looking. [00:27:55.000 --> 00:27:58.000] I won't be looking directly at my microphone here, but [00:27:58.000 --> 00:28:03.000] on the next break I will pull up that emergency clause and I will read it to you [00:28:03.000 --> 00:28:06.000] and you tell me how that clause [00:28:06.000 --> 00:28:12.000] meets any of the criteria required for suspension of the three days rule [00:28:12.000 --> 00:28:17.000] under section 62 of article 3 of the Texas Constitution. [00:28:17.000 --> 00:28:21.000] If you're like me, it's going to immediately sort of be [00:28:21.000 --> 00:28:24.000] clear without too much debate or argument [00:28:24.000 --> 00:28:28.000] that that is not a valid emergency clause, nor [00:28:28.000 --> 00:28:32.000] is it a valid reason [00:28:32.000 --> 00:28:38.000] that would allow such an enactment to have the force and effect of law. [00:28:38.000 --> 00:28:43.000] So let me explain what this is going to mean long term. [00:28:43.000 --> 00:28:46.000] Not a single bill [00:28:46.000 --> 00:28:49.000] passed by the Texas legislature [00:28:49.000 --> 00:28:55.000] without the reading on the floor of each house, the debate on same, and the submission to a committee [00:28:55.000 --> 00:28:58.000] for the entering upon the rolls and the [00:28:58.000 --> 00:29:02.000] journals of the houses [00:29:02.000 --> 00:29:05.000] is valid. [00:29:05.000 --> 00:29:09.000] Not one. [00:29:09.000 --> 00:29:13.000] All these codes that they're using against us in court [00:29:13.000 --> 00:29:18.000] are not law. They can't even begin to be law. [00:29:18.000 --> 00:29:21.000] Not in any way, shape, or form. [00:29:21.000 --> 00:29:24.000] Because every single one of them was enacted [00:29:24.000 --> 00:29:29.000] using an invalid emergency [00:29:29.000 --> 00:29:35.000] that violated everything that section 62 requires. [00:29:35.000 --> 00:29:38.000] Not to mention article 29 through 39. [00:29:38.000 --> 00:29:43.000] Or section 29 through 39. All of article 3. [00:29:43.000 --> 00:29:48.000] So this is going to be a very big problem for them when challenged. [00:29:48.000 --> 00:29:50.000] And we need to be challenging it, people. [00:29:50.000 --> 00:29:55.000] Alright folks, this is Rule of Law Radio. I've got some more of this on the other side, so y'all hang in there. [00:29:55.000 --> 00:29:58.000] We will be right back after this break. [00:29:58.000 --> 00:30:00.580] (upbeat music) [00:30:00.580 --> 00:30:07.050] Why do Americans order extra large portions of food when smaller servings would suffice? [00:30:07.050 --> 00:30:14.050] I'm Dr. Katherine Albrecht. In a moment, I'll share an interesting new study that may shed some light on the psychology of overeating. [00:30:14.050 --> 00:30:20.050] Privacy is under attack. When you give up data about yourself, you'll never get it back again. [00:30:20.050 --> 00:30:25.050] And once your privacy is gone, you'll find your freedoms will start to vanish too. [00:30:25.050 --> 00:30:30.050] So protect your rights. Say no to surveillance and keep your information to yourself. [00:30:30.050 --> 00:30:33.050] Privacy. It's worth hanging on to. [00:30:33.050 --> 00:30:40.050] This public service announcement is brought to you by StartPage.com, the private search engine alternative to Google, Yahoo, and Bing. [00:30:40.050 --> 00:30:43.050] Start over with StartPage. [00:30:43.050 --> 00:30:50.050] Food is one of life's great pleasures, but too much can lead to a host of problems like heart disease and diabetes. [00:30:50.050 --> 00:30:54.050] So why do Americans keep opting for enormous food portions? [00:30:54.050 --> 00:30:59.050] Northwestern University researchers think it has to do with class consciousness. [00:30:59.050 --> 00:31:04.050] Like cars and TVs, Americans equate larger food portions with higher social status. [00:31:04.050 --> 00:31:13.050] People told researchers that drinking a large coffee meant someone was probably wealthier than someone else drinking a small size, even when the price was the same. [00:31:13.050 --> 00:31:17.050] So it follows that people who are feeling poor may try to compensate with bigger portions. [00:31:17.050 --> 00:31:23.050] Sure enough, in experiments, lower income folks were more likely to go for gut-buster sizes. [00:31:23.050 --> 00:31:28.050] I'm Dr. Catherine Albrecht. More news and information at CatherineAlbrecht.com. [00:31:28.050 --> 00:31:36.050] This is Building 7, a 47-story skyscraper that fell on the afternoon of September 11. [00:31:36.050 --> 00:31:38.050] The government says that fire brought it down. [00:31:38.050 --> 00:31:43.050] However, 1,500 architects and engineers have concluded it was a controlled demolition. [00:31:43.050 --> 00:31:46.050] Over 6,000 of my fellow service members have given their lives. [00:31:46.050 --> 00:31:49.050] And thousands of my fellow first responders are dying. [00:31:49.050 --> 00:31:50.050] I'm not a conspiracy theorist. [00:31:50.050 --> 00:31:51.050] I'm a structural engineer. [00:31:51.050 --> 00:31:52.050] I'm a New York City correctional officer. [00:31:52.050 --> 00:31:53.050] I'm an Air Force pilot. [00:31:53.050 --> 00:31:55.050] I'm a father who lost his son. [00:31:55.050 --> 00:31:57.050] We are Americans, and we deserve the truth. [00:32:05.050 --> 00:32:07.050] In today's America, we live in an us-against-them society. [00:32:07.050 --> 00:32:12.050] And if we, the people, are ever going to have a free society, then we're going to have to stand and defend our own rights. [00:32:12.050 --> 00:32:19.050] Among those rights are the right to travel freely from place to place, the right to act in our own private capacity, and most importantly, the right to due process of law. [00:32:19.050 --> 00:32:25.050] Traffic courts afford us the least expensive opportunity to learn how to enforce and preserve our rights through due process. This is Rule of Law Radio. [00:34:59.050 --> 00:35:03.050] Okay, I am still waiting on the [00:35:03.050 --> 00:35:07.050] Transportation Code Bill from 1995 to download. [00:35:07.050 --> 00:35:12.050] It is very extensive. It is 4,210 pages long. [00:35:12.050 --> 00:35:16.050] But at the very end of it, there is the emergency clause statement, [00:35:16.050 --> 00:35:21.050] which if it ever finishes downloading, even on high speed, it is slow. [00:35:21.050 --> 00:35:27.050] I will read it to you to show you exactly what it says versus what it is required to say. [00:35:27.050 --> 00:35:32.050] But the point being that no matter how you slice and dice it, [00:35:32.050 --> 00:35:40.050] it absolutely does not meet the criteria of a state of emergency created by enemy attack [00:35:40.050 --> 00:35:43.050] or imminent threat of enemy attack. [00:35:43.050 --> 00:35:47.050] It is a completely bogus emergency clause. [00:35:47.050 --> 00:35:53.050] Because of that, the rule on reading over three several days [00:35:53.050 --> 00:36:00.050] is being illegally and unconstitutionally suspended by the legislature, [00:36:00.050 --> 00:36:07.050] thus negating any enactment as having any force and effect of law. [00:36:07.050 --> 00:36:13.050] It is stated right in the Constitution that there is no force and effect of law [00:36:13.050 --> 00:36:18.050] if the bill has not been read on the floor of each house over three several days [00:36:18.050 --> 00:36:20.050] and discussion held thereon. [00:36:20.050 --> 00:36:26.050] And that rule has been suspended for decades by the Texas legislature, [00:36:26.050 --> 00:36:31.050] illegally and unconstitutionally. [00:36:31.050 --> 00:36:37.050] So why we're not raising a bigger stink about this, [00:36:37.050 --> 00:36:42.050] other than pure ignorance of the subject, I have no idea. [00:36:42.050 --> 00:36:53.050] And my first question would be is why do the majority of Texans have such a gap [00:36:53.050 --> 00:36:57.050] in their knowledge relating to their own state constitution [00:36:57.050 --> 00:37:01.050] so that these people can continue to get away with this? [00:37:01.050 --> 00:37:08.050] Where have we been and what have we been doing that allows them this much leeway [00:37:08.050 --> 00:37:16.050] in violating every rule we put in place to protect ourselves and our property from them? [00:37:16.050 --> 00:37:24.050] Why do you think they wanted control of our schools? [00:37:24.050 --> 00:37:32.050] It's the only explanation for why they wanted government control of the schools. [00:37:32.050 --> 00:37:38.050] There's an old rule that makes it very simple to understand how this works. [00:37:38.050 --> 00:37:46.050] He who wins, the winner creates history, okay, or writes the history. [00:37:46.050 --> 00:37:48.050] The conqueror writes history. [00:37:48.050 --> 00:37:52.050] However you want to word it, the idea remains the same. [00:37:52.050 --> 00:38:01.050] The person that conquered the other gets to write the history as to how that conquering was achieved, [00:38:01.050 --> 00:38:08.050] why it occurred, why it was necessary, etc., etc., etc. [00:38:08.050 --> 00:38:13.050] Well, folks, this is exactly what has been done to the public school system. [00:38:13.050 --> 00:38:19.050] It has been conquered by the government for the purpose of indoctrinating our children [00:38:19.050 --> 00:38:24.050] into believing that the state is the ruler of all things, [00:38:24.050 --> 00:38:28.050] that it is the supreme power over all things, [00:38:28.050 --> 00:38:35.050] that what it says is a requirement upon all people regardless of anything else, [00:38:35.050 --> 00:38:42.050] and that your rights are strictly subjected to what they wish to pass. [00:38:42.050 --> 00:38:45.050] Now, here is a perfect example. [00:38:45.050 --> 00:38:47.050] When Randy and I were doing the show together, [00:38:47.050 --> 00:38:52.050] he used to always say something when I would make an argument regarding certain statutes, [00:38:52.050 --> 00:38:59.050] and he would say that's a special statute enacted by the legislature to allow them to do that. [00:38:59.050 --> 00:39:03.050] What? [00:39:03.050 --> 00:39:09.050] Since when does any statute, special or otherwise, enacted by anybody, [00:39:09.050 --> 00:39:17.050] especially the legislature, get the power and authority to negate a constitutional provision [00:39:17.050 --> 00:39:21.050] or violate a protected right under it? [00:39:21.050 --> 00:39:29.050] The legislature can't create a special statute allowing them to do any such thing. [00:39:29.050 --> 00:39:31.050] It's not feasible. [00:39:31.050 --> 00:39:34.050] If they can make a special statute to do that, [00:39:34.050 --> 00:39:40.050] then they can make a special statute that says what constitution, [00:39:40.050 --> 00:39:46.050] what bill of rights, what inherent rights. [00:39:46.050 --> 00:39:50.050] We created a special statute that said all inherent rights come from the government [00:39:50.050 --> 00:39:54.050] and therefore the government can grant and take them away so they're not actually rights. [00:39:54.050 --> 00:40:03.050] They're our privileges that we give you for actually living in our particular neck of the woods. [00:40:03.050 --> 00:40:08.050] Would you buy that if anybody stood up and told it to you? [00:40:08.050 --> 00:40:11.050] Then why are you swallowing a hook, line, and sinker? [00:40:11.050 --> 00:40:20.050] Because once again, it's the official story on how things work when we should know better. [00:40:20.050 --> 00:40:24.050] We should absolutely know better by now. [00:40:24.050 --> 00:40:30.050] Government is about as truthful as the serpent in the Garden of Eden. [00:40:30.050 --> 00:40:40.050] It says just enough to get you to look left so it can do what it wants on the right. [00:40:40.050 --> 00:40:41.050] That's all. [00:40:41.050 --> 00:40:44.050] It is a game of smoke and mirrors. [00:40:44.050 --> 00:40:45.050] Here's what we do. [00:40:45.050 --> 00:40:48.050] Here's how we do it. [00:40:48.050 --> 00:40:56.050] And we're relying on you to take our indoctrination so as to remain too stupid to understand or notice [00:40:56.050 --> 00:41:07.050] or at least to actually raise a fuss by asking intelligent questions about what we are doing. [00:41:07.050 --> 00:41:13.050] We're our own worst enemy in this case, folks, and we have been for a very long time. [00:41:13.050 --> 00:41:23.050] Now, considering what's written into Section 62, we can go all the way back up here to the 29 through 39 [00:41:23.050 --> 00:41:30.050] and we can continue going through this and we can see real quick that nothing they're doing complies [00:41:30.050 --> 00:41:34.050] with what makes a valid law in Texas. [00:41:34.050 --> 00:41:40.050] And I'm willing to bet if you people that are in other states or republics, as I prefer to call them, [00:41:40.050 --> 00:41:49.050] if you're actually in a republic, actually studied the document that governs your government [00:41:49.050 --> 00:41:54.050] and compared it to what they're doing and what they've tried to do, [00:41:54.050 --> 00:42:04.050] you would find out very quickly that you have been misled, to say the very least. [00:42:04.050 --> 00:42:14.050] You have been defrauded and had sedition and treason committed against you at the worst. [00:42:14.050 --> 00:42:18.050] All in the name of better government. [00:42:18.050 --> 00:42:23.050] Well, my first question is better for who? [00:42:23.050 --> 00:42:27.050] Because it's sure not us. [00:42:27.050 --> 00:42:33.050] When you believe you have the power to tell me what piece of my property I can and cannot use [00:42:33.050 --> 00:42:39.050] for my own purposes while causing no harm to another or their property, [00:42:39.050 --> 00:42:44.050] then I'm going to be the first one to look you in the eye and tell you, "Butt out." [00:42:44.050 --> 00:42:47.050] That's not within your power. [00:42:47.050 --> 00:42:52.050] I don't care if you're my neighbor or a member of my government. [00:42:52.050 --> 00:43:00.050] You don't have that authority over me and mine. [00:43:00.050 --> 00:43:03.050] Not now. Not ever. [00:43:03.050 --> 00:43:07.050] Didn't have it in the past. Not going to have it in the future. [00:43:07.050 --> 00:43:14.050] Till you kill me. That's the only way you're going to get it. [00:43:14.050 --> 00:43:21.050] I constantly get emails and questions from folks and commentaries about, [00:43:21.050 --> 00:43:25.050] "I want to do this. I want to get rid of my license. I want to get all the stuff off my car. [00:43:25.050 --> 00:43:28.050] I want to start being free." [00:43:28.050 --> 00:43:33.050] Well, I applaud you. I'm glad you want to be free. [00:43:33.050 --> 00:43:40.050] But you better understand that that freedom is not free. [00:43:40.050 --> 00:43:47.050] And you are going to fight every inch to get any part of it back. [00:43:47.050 --> 00:43:52.050] And I'll finish covering that on the other side and then we'll open up the phones and start taking calls. [00:43:52.050 --> 00:43:55.050] All right, folks. [00:45:51.050 --> 00:46:15.050] [Music] [00:46:15.050 --> 00:46:27.050] [Music] [00:46:27.050 --> 00:46:32.050] Alright, folks, we are back. This is Rule of Law Radio. [00:46:32.050 --> 00:46:38.050] Okay. Now, I don't have to go through every part of Sections 29 through 39 [00:46:38.050 --> 00:46:45.050] for you to see how quickly this deteriorated in favor of the legislature's illegal acts. [00:46:45.050 --> 00:46:54.050] Because just by failing to comply with these sections via what's written in Section 62, [00:46:54.050 --> 00:47:01.050] they're already hosed. I mean, they are so hosed, they could be a fire truck. [00:47:01.050 --> 00:47:14.050] It's ridiculous. How people that we put in power to exercise our law have failed to read [00:47:14.050 --> 00:47:21.050] and comprehend that which we put in place to bind their activities is proof positive [00:47:21.050 --> 00:47:27.050] they should never have been allowed to be elected in the first place. [00:47:27.050 --> 00:47:34.050] Let me make a proposal for a constitutional amendment within every state constitution. [00:47:34.050 --> 00:47:47.050] Unless and until an individual can demonstrate through impartial and extensive testing [00:47:47.050 --> 00:47:56.050] their comprehension, understanding, and implementation of their entire state constitution, [00:47:56.050 --> 00:48:06.050] they shall never hold public office. Period. [00:48:06.050 --> 00:48:14.050] If you cannot demonstrate a working comprehension, understanding, and ability to legislate [00:48:14.050 --> 00:48:22.050] in relation thereto of your state constitution, then you should never be allowed to hold [00:48:22.050 --> 00:48:30.050] a public office anywhere for any reason. [00:48:30.050 --> 00:48:39.050] You shouldn't. Okay? You just shouldn't. [00:48:39.050 --> 00:48:53.050] Why in the world would I want anyone acting on my behalf that does not have the same understanding [00:48:53.050 --> 00:49:03.050] and acceptance of the limits of their own power as I do? [00:49:03.050 --> 00:49:11.050] Every time I hear a politician get on their soapbox and start saying, "If elected, I'll do this, [00:49:11.050 --> 00:49:17.050] and I'll do that, and I'll do this, and I'll see to it!" [00:49:17.050 --> 00:49:25.050] Right there you already see the person that has no clue what limits exist on the power [00:49:25.050 --> 00:49:34.050] of their chosen office. Because if they're saying they're going to do anything other than [00:49:34.050 --> 00:49:44.050] hold their fellow electees to the very limits of the constitution under which they're operating, [00:49:44.050 --> 00:49:51.050] then they've already decided that they have an agenda outside of that constitutional mandate. [00:49:51.050 --> 00:49:59.050] That's my opinion. But I defy you to produce a single politician outside of Ron Paul [00:49:59.050 --> 00:50:05.050] that has proven my statement to be false. [00:50:05.050 --> 00:50:15.050] Name one. And if you check their voting record, all the ones that you're currently holding dear, [00:50:15.050 --> 00:50:21.050] right? And forgive me for saying this, because I like the guy in a lot of ways, but Ted Cruz, [00:50:21.050 --> 00:50:30.050] Rand Paul, they are not consistent with constitutional principles either. [00:50:30.050 --> 00:50:36.050] They're just not. In lots of ways, they go to the side of government over the rights of the people [00:50:36.050 --> 00:50:42.050] in order to make their deals and to get what they want, just like any other politician. [00:50:42.050 --> 00:50:48.050] And Ron Paul is the one man that I know of that has refused to cut those kinds of deals [00:50:48.050 --> 00:50:53.050] even to get minimal support for legislation he knew had to happen. [00:50:53.050 --> 00:51:01.050] He wasn't willing to sacrifice the principles and ethics that he swore to uphold in order to [00:51:01.050 --> 00:51:10.050] make that deal and get that legislation in. And if he had had people sitting in office with him [00:51:10.050 --> 00:51:18.050] that had understood, as he does, the limits of that power and authority and the morals and ethics [00:51:18.050 --> 00:51:25.050] they swore to uphold when they took the reins of that power and authority, he wouldn't be having [00:51:25.050 --> 00:51:33.050] to lose out on that legislation. But because everyone up there is voting against him, [00:51:33.050 --> 00:51:41.050] you already know their agenda comes first. So why in your local elections and such would you expect [00:51:41.050 --> 00:51:46.050] any different from the people you're electing when they demonstrate exactly the same propensity [00:51:46.050 --> 00:51:56.050] for acting on their own interests rather than ours? It boggles my mind that people actually think [00:51:56.050 --> 00:52:02.050] that the person they're electing is looking out for them when a simple research of that [00:52:02.050 --> 00:52:13.050] elected office or that office seeker would prove that is absolutely not true. [00:52:13.050 --> 00:52:18.050] When it comes to certain things, I am a very black and white type person. [00:52:18.050 --> 00:52:26.050] I don't see shades of gray on certain things. Now, I'm not saying there aren't shades of gray [00:52:26.050 --> 00:52:34.050] on certain things because there are. But in other things, I don't believe that there are. [00:52:34.050 --> 00:52:45.050] For instance, my rights. My rights have no shades of gray. I am willing to allow myself to limit [00:52:45.050 --> 00:52:54.050] their exercise if that exercise can be seen by me and understood by me in mutual communication [00:52:54.050 --> 00:53:00.050] with another that something I'm doing has an effect upon them in a detrimental fashion, [00:53:00.050 --> 00:53:10.050] I will consider what I do and take that into account. And I will adjust whatever I need to myself. [00:53:10.050 --> 00:53:20.050] I am self-regulating. That's built into me. But you have people in society that aren't. [00:53:20.050 --> 00:53:25.050] Let's take these teenagers or whatever age they may actually be running around playing this stupid [00:53:25.050 --> 00:53:32.050] knockout game. They're not self-regulating. So why should they be surprised when somebody they assault [00:53:32.050 --> 00:53:42.050] whips out a bat, a gun, or a taser and lays them low where they stand because their regulator is broken? [00:53:42.050 --> 00:53:50.050] And thus, they required external regulation of their behavior. I have absolutely no problem with that [00:53:50.050 --> 00:54:01.050] when it's called for. Because obviously, people like that are incapable of doing it for themselves. [00:54:01.050 --> 00:54:08.050] And by the same token, let's talk about this regulating of behavior by rehabilitation of incarceration [00:54:08.050 --> 00:54:13.050] for extended periods in prisons, which does absolutely nothing to rehabilitate anyone. [00:54:13.050 --> 00:54:24.050] Let's not be stupid. If you can commit just as many crimes behind prison walls as you can outside [00:54:24.050 --> 00:54:33.050] prison walls, why would you think the atmosphere is conducive to rehabilitation of the same behavior? [00:54:33.050 --> 00:54:39.050] Isn't that the very definition of insanity? Doing the same thing under the same circumstances [00:54:39.050 --> 00:54:48.050] yet expecting a different result? The only thing that's different inside the walls of a prison [00:54:48.050 --> 00:54:55.050] versus outside is you have to be a lot more careful about who you do it to because you have a limited [00:54:55.050 --> 00:55:02.050] place in which to run and hide. That's the only real difference. But they still kill each other. [00:55:02.050 --> 00:55:07.050] They still rob each other. They still assault each other. They still rape each other. [00:55:07.050 --> 00:55:14.050] They still do everything inside they do outside. And the only people that get rehabilitated in this system [00:55:14.050 --> 00:55:24.050] is the ones that are the victims of these things on the inside. That's the only reason they fear going back. [00:55:24.050 --> 00:55:30.050] Which brings me to the reason why, for certain offenses in society, I absolutely support the death penalty. [00:55:30.050 --> 00:55:40.050] I guarantee you, hung from a gallows, cooked in a chair, drawn and quartered, lethal injection, [00:55:40.050 --> 00:55:48.050] you pick the means. But I guarantee you the person on whom it's performed is 100% rehabilitated [00:55:48.050 --> 00:55:57.050] because they will never ever commit those crimes again. That's the only way you're going to conform [00:55:57.050 --> 00:56:08.050] to a 100% rehabilitation of anything. That's just a fact. You cannot argue that. [00:56:08.050 --> 00:56:15.050] That person will never ever commit those heinous crimes against another again. [00:56:15.050 --> 00:56:26.050] What's the real rehabilitation? Well, call it whatever you like, but they won't be back committing those crimes. [00:56:26.050 --> 00:56:33.050] And if the possibility of that being the end result of those crimes was greater than it is, [00:56:33.050 --> 00:56:40.050] I guarantee you a lot less people would be willing to commit burglary and certain other forms of crimes [00:56:40.050 --> 00:56:50.050] if the possible potential outcome was more likely to be death than not if they get caught. [00:56:50.050 --> 00:57:00.050] Fear is a great motivator in good ways and bad ways. That kind of fear, though, that makes people pause. [00:57:00.050 --> 00:57:13.050] I can do this and I can probably die as a result of it, or I can choose not to do it and find an alternative. [00:57:13.050 --> 00:57:22.050] Now, granted, their alternative may not be any smarter, but that's the part about them having a problem [00:57:22.050 --> 00:57:29.050] being self-regulated. They don't think well. They don't reason well. They just react. [00:57:29.050 --> 00:57:35.050] Kind of like your politicians do. What? Somebody shot a gun in New Hampshire? Oh, react! [00:57:35.050 --> 00:57:44.050] Gun control! React! Pass a law! No research, no understanding, no need for facts as to why, what, who, when, where. [00:57:44.050 --> 00:57:50.050] Nothing. Just react. [00:57:50.050 --> 00:58:00.050] Hmm. Yeah, I'm pretty much on the verge of just stop the whole damn planet. I want to get off. Okay? [00:58:00.050 --> 00:58:05.050] These people that we have put in charge have ignored every rule we've laid out there. [00:58:05.050 --> 00:58:13.050] We've ignored every rule we've laid out there and we've let them get momentum that we may or may not be able to prevent [00:58:13.050 --> 00:58:21.050] and stop and check without a much greater use of force than would have previously been necessary, folks. [00:58:21.050 --> 00:58:28.050] And that's our failing, not theirs, because we didn't pay attention, we didn't keep them accountable, [00:58:28.050 --> 00:58:33.050] and we didn't insist upon that accountability being enforced. [00:58:33.050 --> 00:58:43.050] So it's on us, like it or not, and we need to fix it immediately before there is no turning back. [01:00:51.310 --> 01:00:57.310] The Electronic Frontier Foundation and Access and Privacy International have launched a new campaign, [01:00:57.310 --> 01:01:03.310] which is centered around 13 policies they say governments must follow to protect human rights in the digital world. [01:01:03.310 --> 01:01:08.310] The necessary and proportionate principles are being supported by a number of organizations. [01:01:08.310 --> 01:01:15.310] The completed petition will be delivered to the United Nations. [01:01:15.310 --> 01:01:19.310] Leadership in Boston has ended the use of license plate readers [01:01:19.310 --> 01:01:24.310] following an accidental release of sensitive personal information to the Boston Globe. [01:01:24.310 --> 01:01:29.310] Newspaper reports the Boston Police Department in July accidentally turned over an unredacted list [01:01:29.310 --> 01:01:34.310] of more than 68,000 unredacted license plate numbers. [01:01:34.310 --> 01:01:41.310] Now the police department has indefinitely suspended the use of the technology. [01:01:41.310 --> 01:01:47.310] Russian scientists are pushing to see a 10-year moratorium put in place on the use of GMOs. [01:01:55.310 --> 01:02:01.310] In September, Russia endorsed the rules for the state registration of GMO and GMO-containing products. [01:02:01.310 --> 01:02:07.310] Around the same time, Russian authorities temporarily suspended the import and sale of Monsanto's genetically modified corn [01:02:07.310 --> 01:02:13.310] after a French study suggested it may be linked to cancer. [01:02:57.310 --> 01:03:20.310] [Music] [01:03:20.310 --> 01:03:25.310] Alright folks, we are back. This is Rule of Law Radio. [01:03:25.310 --> 01:03:30.310] Alright, call in number 512-646-1984. [01:03:30.310 --> 01:03:34.310] I'll be taking your calls. First one up tonight is going to be Andrew in Texas. [01:03:34.310 --> 01:03:37.310] Andrew, what can we do for you? [01:03:37.310 --> 01:03:45.310] Well, I just wanted to call and share briefly an experience I had with using the Rule of Law material, [01:03:45.310 --> 01:03:51.310] and your material, to get some dismissals on transportation code violations. [01:03:51.310 --> 01:03:53.310] Well, cool. Let them know about it. [01:03:53.310 --> 01:03:57.310] Well, I had expired everything. You name it, it was expired. [01:03:57.310 --> 01:04:03.310] And of course, I got pulled over. And this was prior to informing myself and taking your classes. [01:04:03.310 --> 01:04:07.310] I had been briefly, briefly introduced to your stuff when this happened. [01:04:07.310 --> 01:04:13.310] And it prompted me to go ahead and come down to Austin and take your classes and buy your course. [01:04:13.310 --> 01:04:17.310] And it has paid for itself several times already. [01:04:17.310 --> 01:04:24.310] But essentially, I had a case that was in a municipal court. [01:04:24.310 --> 01:04:29.310] The jury found me guilty because they can't read English or understand it, apparently. [01:04:29.310 --> 01:04:34.310] And so I appealed to a higher court, which is the trial de novo, new trial. [01:04:34.310 --> 01:04:46.310] And in this county court of record, I was able to make my argument and present my motions for their denying me my right to due process for not-- [01:04:46.310 --> 01:04:56.310] basically, if anyone is familiar with the show or with your work, you call out every single violation that they have brought against you, [01:04:56.310 --> 01:05:01.310] and you point out that you are not engaged in transportation, and you maintain that argument. [01:05:01.310 --> 01:05:08.310] And it typically doesn't go as well as you would like because they don't want to hear the law. [01:05:08.310 --> 01:05:13.310] They would rather say you're wrong or dismiss any argument you'd like to make. [01:05:13.310 --> 01:05:15.310] But the point is to make the record. [01:05:15.310 --> 01:05:18.310] And it works, and I whittled them down. [01:05:18.310 --> 01:05:29.310] And one of the things in particular that I brought up in a motion got the judge's attention out of everything I brought up. [01:05:29.310 --> 01:05:42.310] And that was a motion that mentioned that the state or the prosecution had not filed any documentation that the officer was a certified police officer, [01:05:42.310 --> 01:05:45.310] or even a licensed police officer, for that matter. [01:05:45.310 --> 01:05:52.310] And with that on the table, they decided to dismiss all of the charges. [01:05:52.310 --> 01:05:59.310] And so I just wanted to give some people some positive reinforcement, let them know that, you know, it sucks, [01:05:59.310 --> 01:06:04.310] and you've got to take time off work, and you've got to go make a whole bunch of copies of documents, but it is worth it. [01:06:04.310 --> 01:06:12.310] It's worth it to just know the information, much less exercise your right to travel and fight for it like you were talking about earlier. [01:06:12.310 --> 01:06:14.310] You do have to fight for every inch. [01:06:14.310 --> 01:06:23.310] But it feels amazing when you practice being a free person, or not a person, but you know what I mean. [01:06:23.310 --> 01:06:26.310] And it's a great feeling. [01:06:26.310 --> 01:06:27.310] It's a great thing to understand. [01:06:27.310 --> 01:06:35.310] It's an all-around positive experience to go ahead and go through this process, even if it's just for learning. [01:06:35.310 --> 01:06:48.310] Now, you do have to take a lot of time, and learn the right way to do this would really help and make your life suck a lot less if you study and study and study. [01:06:48.310 --> 01:06:56.310] But, yes, you have the right to travel, and when they say that you don't, you prove otherwise, and it can go well. [01:06:56.310 --> 01:06:57.310] You just have to stay on it. [01:06:57.310 --> 01:07:04.310] And was there any questions or anything you wanted me to bring up to any of the audience or any information you'd like me to talk about? [01:07:04.310 --> 01:07:10.310] Just whatever you think is relevant to the situation as it transpired today. [01:07:10.310 --> 01:07:13.310] Well, I whittled them down. [01:07:13.310 --> 01:07:16.310] I mean, I had to go to court half a dozen times. [01:07:16.310 --> 01:07:29.310] Each time I went, I brought up information that the prosecuting attorney could not argue against because she was apparently unfamiliar with the law, which really helped. [01:07:29.310 --> 01:07:46.310] Obviously, when you're in front of a judge and he's at least willing to look at some of the statutes, and when the prosecution can't get anything, they can't -- they have no ground to stand on or they can't make any argument based on law, [01:07:46.310 --> 01:08:00.310] it starts to reveal that the court is now in a position where they're either going to have to make this case go away or there's going to be a precedent set, or they're going to have to railroad you beyond -- [01:08:00.310 --> 01:08:06.310] I mean, they're going to basically have to staple your mouth shut because there's really no other way to prevent you from making the record. [01:08:06.310 --> 01:08:10.310] Well, and tie your hands behind your back unless you can ride with your feet. [01:08:10.310 --> 01:08:27.310] But just stay on it, people, and go to class and listen to the show and get with friends and go over this information because what I found out the hard way is -- well, not the hard way, [01:08:27.310 --> 01:08:42.310] but what I discovered is the best way to really get this information is to go over it over and over and over out loud, talk to people about it, take on questions that prompt you to go do the research, and you will learn it, [01:08:42.310 --> 01:08:50.310] and you'll be able to sound like Eddie, probably not as cool or as confident, but you can get there. [01:08:50.310 --> 01:08:55.310] It takes some time, and it is well, well worth it. [01:08:55.310 --> 01:09:02.310] You can practice other things like open carrying and other free human activities, and they all feel great, and this is another one. [01:09:02.310 --> 01:09:15.310] And you feel like a bajillion-tall-foot giant when you can walk into a room full of people who went to school and paid a whole bunch of money to steal other people's money and tell them that they're criminals and prove it. [01:09:15.310 --> 01:09:17.310] It feels fantastic. [01:09:17.310 --> 01:09:26.310] So, again, everyone keep it up, and thank you, Eddie, for being patient enough to teach people because I know it can get frustrating. [01:09:26.310 --> 01:09:28.310] Oh, man, you don't know the half of it. [01:09:28.310 --> 01:09:30.310] I don't even want to know the half of it. [01:09:30.310 --> 01:09:32.310] I've been in that classroom. [01:09:32.310 --> 01:09:50.310] But, yes, people go and get the material and participate because it's probably, in my opinion, one of the most effective ways to take back some control in your life because we cannot -- we have very little opportunities to fix things at the high end. [01:09:50.310 --> 01:09:53.310] That's the New World Order level, that's the big boy level. [01:09:53.310 --> 01:10:12.310] But when you start getting the local government around you cleaned up, you know, i.e., getting different officers to either relinquish their jobs or however you end up getting these different public servants to start paying attention and doing their actual job, it is effective. [01:10:12.310 --> 01:10:19.310] And that's really one of the only ways that you can have a real effective means of preserving freedom. [01:10:19.310 --> 01:10:23.310] Well, let me do my Alex Jones for a second and interrupt you there, Andrew. [01:10:23.310 --> 01:10:26.310] Go for it. [01:10:26.310 --> 01:10:40.310] In regards to that, folks, the thing you need to understand is that everything at the New World Order level has to use the lower levels that Andrew's talking about right now as their foundation upon which to stand. [01:10:40.310 --> 01:10:41.310] Exactly. [01:10:41.310 --> 01:10:57.310] If you weaken that or outright destroy it by getting rid of those that would support that upper level willingly or even unwillingly but want to be a dupe, you get rid of those people and that foundation crumbles. [01:10:57.310 --> 01:11:01.310] That foundation crumbles, the upper decks will fall. [01:11:01.310 --> 01:11:02.310] They don't have a choice. [01:11:02.310 --> 01:11:05.310] They have nothing left to stand on. [01:11:05.310 --> 01:11:06.310] Exactly. [01:11:06.310 --> 01:11:32.310] And you almost said exactly the way I said it, but when I'm talking to people about this situation and describing how you go about doing this, the position I take and I think is pretty easy to take once you understand this is you have either a public servant that is willingly and knowingly violating the law and your rights or you have a public servant who doesn't know the law. [01:11:32.310 --> 01:11:36.310] Either of those you don't want as your public servant. [01:11:36.310 --> 01:11:37.310] It's the bottom line. [01:11:37.310 --> 01:11:39.310] It's as simple as it gets. [01:11:39.310 --> 01:12:08.310] So take advantage of that opportunity to try and like you said break down that foundation around you of this system that's been constructed around us to steal our money, to poison us, our minds and our body and start trying to fix it because it isn't going to go away unless you arm yourself with knowledge and have the nuts to go out there and do it because it's scary. [01:12:08.310 --> 01:12:09.310] It's very scary. [01:12:09.310 --> 01:12:10.310] Trust me. [01:12:10.310 --> 01:12:15.310] It is, but it's even less scary when you're better prepared. [01:12:15.310 --> 01:12:16.310] Absolutely. [01:12:16.310 --> 01:12:18.310] And I learned that the first go around. [01:12:18.310 --> 01:12:35.310] The more you know, just like any situation, driving, excuse me, traveling or operating firearms or even just discussing a topic, the more you know, obviously the more confident you're going to be and the easier it's going to go. [01:12:35.310 --> 01:12:39.310] So train on all fronts. [01:12:39.310 --> 01:12:45.310] But yes, thank you, Eddie, again and keep taking some calls and help some people out. [01:12:45.310 --> 01:12:46.310] All right. [01:12:46.310 --> 01:12:47.310] Well, thanks for calling in, Andrew. [01:12:47.310 --> 01:12:48.310] Yes, sir. [01:12:48.310 --> 01:12:49.310] I'll talk to you later. [01:12:49.310 --> 01:12:50.310] All right. [01:12:50.310 --> 01:12:51.310] Bye-bye. [01:12:51.310 --> 01:12:52.310] All right. [01:12:52.310 --> 01:12:53.310] Now we're going to go to Rob in Illinois. [01:12:53.310 --> 01:12:55.310] Rob, what can we do for you? [01:12:55.310 --> 01:12:56.310] Hello, Eddie. [01:12:56.310 --> 01:12:59.310] I've got four little quick comments here. [01:12:59.310 --> 01:13:11.310] On the death penalty earlier, I've seen a lot of shows throughout the years about when they interview these inmates in prison, and they are absolutely positively scared of that death penalty. [01:13:11.310 --> 01:13:15.310] They would rather spend the rest of their lives in prison than be put to death. [01:13:15.310 --> 01:13:23.310] And another one as far as traveling, if people don't want to use the word "travel," they could say that they're going from point A to point B. [01:13:23.310 --> 01:13:25.310] It might be a little bit more simpler. [01:13:25.310 --> 01:13:36.310] Also, maybe this may or may not have an effect, but I always make sure that I have mail in the car with me, and if I'm ever pulled over, I tell them that I'm heading up to the post office [01:13:36.310 --> 01:13:40.310] and maybe ask them if they're interfering with the delivery of the mail. [01:13:40.310 --> 01:13:43.310] Maybe you can comment on that as well. [01:13:43.310 --> 01:13:44.310] The other thing is that -- [01:13:44.310 --> 01:13:50.310] Well, if you're acting as a delivery boy for the mail, then the presumption of commerce exists. [01:13:50.310 --> 01:13:52.310] Okay. [01:13:52.310 --> 01:14:01.310] Right, but if you're going from point A to point B and you're heading up to the post office -- [01:14:01.310 --> 01:14:06.310] That's something completely different than saying you're delivering something, especially the mail. [01:14:06.310 --> 01:14:10.310] Right. Okay. Yeah, it has to be specific. [01:14:10.310 --> 01:14:12.310] You're sending mail -- [01:14:12.310 --> 01:14:16.310] No, basically, I'm wondering why you're telling them anything at all. [01:14:16.310 --> 01:14:29.310] The first rule of the script is you do not answer questions, and anything you're saying or doing that does not specifically invoke or demand or protect a right is not the thing to be saying or doing. [01:14:29.310 --> 01:14:39.310] Okay. Yeah, because there was somebody out there that was saying that about make sure you tell them you're -- you have mail in the car and you're heading up to the post office. [01:14:39.310 --> 01:14:45.310] Yeah, another supposed guru, I'm taking it, but that has nothing to do with anything. [01:14:45.310 --> 01:14:58.310] What's in your car is applicable only if commerce can be shown, and the word "delivering" is definitely related to commercial activity just by its use. [01:14:58.310 --> 01:15:01.310] Exactly. [01:15:01.310 --> 01:15:08.310] The other thing is that about the codes, there are people out here making headway with this. [01:15:08.310 --> 01:15:12.310] I personally witnessed a guy challenge the red light cameras. [01:15:12.310 --> 01:15:18.310] He went in and dug up the statutes, and he helped a friend of mine out. [01:15:18.310 --> 01:15:25.310] And you should have seen the look on these people's faces when they got their own codes, shoved it right back in their face. [01:15:25.310 --> 01:15:27.310] It was priceless. [01:15:27.310 --> 01:15:30.310] Yeah, they absolutely hate when you can give them a black eye with their own rules. [01:15:30.310 --> 01:15:32.310] Oh, yeah. [01:15:32.310 --> 01:15:36.310] Because first off, it proves it's a punch they didn't even expect. [01:15:36.310 --> 01:15:40.310] It proves they know nothing about what they're telling us they enforced. [01:15:40.310 --> 01:15:45.310] Right, and if they do know it, they don't tell us about it. [01:15:45.310 --> 01:15:53.310] Yeah, they try to deny that they had any such knowledge and understanding of that's how it could be used or how it could be defended against, and that's malarkey. [01:15:53.310 --> 01:16:02.310] They build their careers and their paychecks around finding ways to defeat those assertions and arguments or by outright ignoring them. [01:16:02.310 --> 01:16:09.310] Yeah, because after my friend won his little case, we high-fived each other right in front of everybody in that room. [01:16:09.310 --> 01:16:12.310] And these people did not even look up at us from that point on. [01:16:12.310 --> 01:16:16.310] They kept their face down on their computers and looking at the paperwork. [01:16:16.310 --> 01:16:19.310] The guilt was written on their face so bad it wasn't even funny. [01:16:19.310 --> 01:16:23.310] We just walked out of there just laughing hysterically. [01:16:23.310 --> 01:16:25.310] And that's another-- [01:16:25.310 --> 01:16:31.310] Yeah, and if it had a room full of other people there for tickets, all they had to do was walk up and go what they said. [01:16:31.310 --> 01:16:33.310] Yeah. [01:16:33.310 --> 01:16:35.310] I have one other comment I'll hold over for-- [01:16:35.310 --> 01:16:39.310] Hang on just a second, Rob. We'll be back and finish up with you after the break. [01:16:39.310 --> 01:16:45.310] All right, folks, this is Rule of Law Radio, the call-in number 512-646-1984. [01:19:42.310 --> 01:19:44.310] It's a call-in number. [01:19:44.310 --> 01:19:46.310] All right, we're going to finish up with Rob in Illinois. [01:19:46.310 --> 01:19:48.310] Rob, go ahead. [01:19:48.310 --> 01:19:55.310] Okay, my final comment here, Eddie, is that two weeks ago in the first, like, 15 minutes of your call, [01:19:55.310 --> 01:20:02.310] you were talking about how you were given an offer by a woman who was well-to-do to go be with her [01:20:02.310 --> 01:20:05.310] and pretty much give up what you're doing now. [01:20:05.310 --> 01:20:10.310] And I was -- in the past two years, I was given pretty much the same -- [01:20:10.310 --> 01:20:16.310] a similar opportunity to be with a woman who was well-to-do and give up everything that I'm doing. [01:20:16.310 --> 01:20:25.310] And I totally turned it down because there's no way I can turn my back on my country and my fellow Americans. [01:20:25.310 --> 01:20:27.310] Well, that's the problem I face. [01:20:27.310 --> 01:20:34.310] I feel like I was given the ability to understand and do something with this stuff for a purpose, [01:20:34.310 --> 01:20:41.310] and I would just be spitting in the face of he who gave it to me by refusing to use it for that purpose. [01:20:41.310 --> 01:20:45.310] And that's just not the way I do things. [01:20:45.310 --> 01:20:48.310] Yeah, you have a higher calling in life, right, Eddie? [01:20:48.310 --> 01:20:51.310] That's one way of putting it, yes. [01:20:51.310 --> 01:20:55.310] Yeah, and once you get that higher calling, there's just no going back. [01:20:55.310 --> 01:21:00.310] No, despite what a lot of people may want from you or think about you, [01:21:00.310 --> 01:21:08.310] I'm not driven by what other people think or feel for me specifically in relation to what I do. [01:21:08.310 --> 01:21:14.310] I have to follow my heart and what I believe to be right, and if they can't accept that, [01:21:14.310 --> 01:21:20.310] then they're not accepting me, which in which case we shouldn't be in the same room for very long anyway. [01:21:20.310 --> 01:21:23.310] Right, because as much as I love this woman, [01:21:23.310 --> 01:21:29.310] I just could not -- I did not feel fulfilled with just turning my back on what's going on today [01:21:29.310 --> 01:21:32.310] because it's like this, it's ignorance is bliss. [01:21:32.310 --> 01:21:37.310] We can rack up the credit cards now, but eventually the bill's going to come due. [01:21:37.310 --> 01:21:43.310] And in order to have a peaceful life, we're going to have to grab this bull by the horns [01:21:43.310 --> 01:21:51.310] and tame it because it's before it totally gets out of control and we're not able to bring her down. [01:21:51.310 --> 01:21:58.310] Yeah, it goes too well hand in hand with the mentality of if it doesn't directly affect me right now, [01:21:58.310 --> 01:22:00.310] then I shouldn't be worried about it. [01:22:00.310 --> 01:22:06.310] And that today, folks, is absolutely the worst attitude you can have [01:22:06.310 --> 01:22:13.310] because no matter how you see it affecting you at this moment, I guarantee you it's affecting you. [01:22:13.310 --> 01:22:15.310] You just don't see it. [01:22:15.310 --> 01:22:21.310] That's like laying on the couch watching a movie with the other kids in the family [01:22:21.310 --> 01:22:25.310] and somebody keeps kicking you under the blanket. [01:22:25.310 --> 01:22:30.310] So you can say, "I don't mind, I don't care, I'm not going to do anything about it." [01:22:30.310 --> 01:22:33.310] The kicking ain't going to stop until you do do something about it. [01:22:33.310 --> 01:22:37.310] And you may or may not identify the wrong source of it from time to time. [01:22:37.310 --> 01:22:41.310] But the point is something has to be done. [01:22:41.310 --> 01:22:47.310] And all we're doing by ignoring it is allowing it to get worse. [01:22:47.310 --> 01:22:52.310] And back at -- what was it, back in 1992, '93, when Ross Perot was running for president, [01:22:52.310 --> 01:22:56.310] he said -- these were some of the biggest words that I ever remember. [01:22:56.310 --> 01:22:58.310] It's like you hear that big sucking sound? [01:22:58.310 --> 01:23:05.310] That was NAFTA, and that was American jobs being sucked out of America and shipped overseas. [01:23:05.310 --> 01:23:06.310] Oh, yeah, I agree. [01:23:06.310 --> 01:23:08.310] And it ain't the only thing that's done that. [01:23:08.310 --> 01:23:13.310] All this offshoring and allowing all these corporations to go elsewhere, [01:23:13.310 --> 01:23:15.310] that should never have been allowed to happen, [01:23:15.310 --> 01:23:21.310] just like it should have never happened that the Congress repealed the corporate requirement. [01:23:21.310 --> 01:23:30.310] Used to, back in the '20s and '30s, a corporation could not be formed without a sworn affidavit [01:23:30.310 --> 01:23:35.310] by its board of directors or its creator that was filing the paperwork [01:23:35.310 --> 01:23:46.310] that the corporation was being filed explicitly to improve public welfare and as a benefit to the public. [01:23:46.310 --> 01:23:53.310] If the corporation could not certify that in writing, it could not exist. [01:23:53.310 --> 01:24:00.310] And Rockefeller petitioned to have that law repealed, and he got it. [01:24:00.310 --> 01:24:04.310] Wow, that's something new I didn't hear of before. [01:24:04.310 --> 01:24:06.310] That's excellent. [01:24:06.310 --> 01:24:09.310] Well, one of the reasons why we're in this today, Eddie, [01:24:09.310 --> 01:24:15.310] is because of the knowledge that you're giving and a lot of other people are giving out on these conference calls [01:24:15.310 --> 01:24:18.310] that weren't there before, and now it's starting to get out. [01:24:18.310 --> 01:24:23.310] So hopefully we'll see some gradual or quick changes. [01:24:23.310 --> 01:24:28.310] Yeah, and that's what I'm hoping that the Tower of Law website will facilitate, [01:24:28.310 --> 01:24:32.310] is that the conference call era will be over. [01:24:32.310 --> 01:24:37.310] The era of being able to get online and hold live audio/video conferences [01:24:37.310 --> 01:24:42.310] with an unlimited number of participants on a particular subject, [01:24:42.310 --> 01:24:47.310] unlimited ideas and expression of those ideas, [01:24:47.310 --> 01:24:53.310] and hopefully all geared to go in the same direction for a change. [01:24:53.310 --> 01:24:57.310] My opinion is we're way too divided on our issues. [01:24:57.310 --> 01:25:00.310] We don't need to be chasing the issues, people. [01:25:00.310 --> 01:25:06.310] We need to be chasing the morons that caused them. [01:25:06.310 --> 01:25:09.310] You may have 10,000 issues in any particular republic, [01:25:09.310 --> 01:25:16.310] but I guarantee you you've only got about 400 idiots that are the cause of those 10,000 issues. [01:25:16.310 --> 01:25:22.310] Guess which one I would rather take aim at? [01:25:22.310 --> 01:25:24.310] Going after the source of the problem. [01:25:24.310 --> 01:25:26.310] Exactly. [01:25:26.310 --> 01:25:28.310] So what else you got there, Rob? [01:25:28.310 --> 01:25:31.310] Like I said, there's a lot of other people on these conference calls, [01:25:31.310 --> 01:25:37.310] and this information is getting out, and we're starting to use this, the information. [01:25:37.310 --> 01:25:41.310] You know, you have people out there that are saying, oh, look, everything's going wrong, [01:25:41.310 --> 01:25:43.310] but come up with a solution. [01:25:43.310 --> 01:25:47.310] Just don't tell us one thing and not follow through with it. [01:25:47.310 --> 01:25:55.310] And I have used some of this stuff to great success, so I'll be sharing that in due time here. [01:25:55.310 --> 01:25:59.310] But it is working when you use their own codes and statutes against them. [01:25:59.310 --> 01:26:01.310] All right. [01:26:01.310 --> 01:26:03.310] I'm glad of the affirmations. [01:26:03.310 --> 01:26:04.310] Yeah. [01:26:04.310 --> 01:26:06.310] So thank you, Eddie. [01:26:06.310 --> 01:26:07.310] You're welcome. [01:26:07.310 --> 01:26:08.310] Thanks for calling in. [01:26:08.310 --> 01:26:09.310] Sure. [01:26:09.310 --> 01:26:10.310] All right. [01:26:10.310 --> 01:26:13.310] Now we are going to go to Neil in Maine. [01:26:13.310 --> 01:26:15.310] Neil, what can we do for you? [01:26:15.310 --> 01:26:19.310] I wanted to ask about Robert Fox versus the state of Texas. [01:26:19.310 --> 01:26:21.310] Okay. [01:26:21.310 --> 01:26:22.310] Okay, I'm reading through it. [01:26:22.310 --> 01:26:23.310] I'll get to the end. [01:26:23.310 --> 01:26:31.310] The last footnote, Fox raises several addition points of error. [01:26:31.310 --> 01:26:40.310] So now that this being after the fact, what's your thoughts on these -- there are five things listed that they needed. [01:26:40.310 --> 01:26:44.310] It says we need not address these additional points of error. [01:26:44.310 --> 01:26:46.310] Yeah, the courts love to do that. [01:26:46.310 --> 01:26:53.310] When they find one thing on which they can pivot a decision, they won't address anything else. [01:26:53.310 --> 01:26:59.310] They limit what they rule on so that they don't set multiple precedents in a single case. [01:26:59.310 --> 01:27:05.310] This is how they create their own job, basically. [01:27:05.310 --> 01:27:10.310] They have to wait for somebody else to bring up that specific point again in another case, [01:27:10.310 --> 01:27:16.310] and it be the key point before they'll address it. [01:27:16.310 --> 01:27:22.310] Okay. [01:27:22.310 --> 01:27:25.310] All right, that's all my thought was, just reading this thing. [01:27:25.310 --> 01:27:30.310] Yeah, that's what it's all about. [01:27:30.310 --> 01:27:31.310] Anything else? [01:27:31.310 --> 01:27:32.310] No, keep it up, Andy. [01:27:32.310 --> 01:27:34.310] All right, Neil, thanks for calling in. [01:27:34.310 --> 01:27:35.310] Yeah. [01:27:35.310 --> 01:27:38.310] All right, now we're going to go to Aaron in Texas. [01:27:38.310 --> 01:27:40.310] Aaron, what can we do for you? [01:27:40.310 --> 01:27:41.310] Hey, Andy, how are you doing? [01:27:41.310 --> 01:27:43.310] I'm doing all right. [01:27:43.310 --> 01:27:44.310] Yeah, I had a question. [01:27:44.310 --> 01:27:51.310] A couple weeks ago I was pulled over by a police officer who said that I had signaled I was just coming down Congress, [01:27:51.310 --> 01:28:00.310] and he said that I needed to signal within 100 feet of actually changing lanes. [01:28:00.310 --> 01:28:01.310] That's a lie. [01:28:01.310 --> 01:28:05.310] There is no distance measurement on changing lanes. [01:28:05.310 --> 01:28:08.310] The statute mentions nothing about distance whatsoever. [01:28:08.310 --> 01:28:12.310] 100 feet is limited to turns. [01:28:12.310 --> 01:28:14.310] Wow. [01:28:14.310 --> 01:28:17.310] And then the second thing, and I was going to see what you thought about this, [01:28:17.310 --> 01:28:24.310] is he started asking me a lot of questions and, you know, asking my driver's license, [01:28:24.310 --> 01:28:25.310] did you still live on this address. [01:28:25.310 --> 01:28:31.310] I said no, I was being honest, and he's like, where do you live, and asked me for my personal address. [01:28:31.310 --> 01:28:33.310] And, you know, I'm pretty, you know -- [01:28:33.310 --> 01:28:35.310] Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. [01:28:35.310 --> 01:28:38.310] I just want to make sure I understood this. [01:28:38.310 --> 01:28:41.310] The cop asked you a factual question. [01:28:41.310 --> 01:28:42.310] Yes. [01:28:42.310 --> 01:28:44.310] And you answered the factual question. [01:28:44.310 --> 01:28:45.310] Yes. [01:28:45.310 --> 01:28:48.310] Smack yourself between the eyes with a ball-peen hammer. [01:28:48.310 --> 01:28:50.310] Okay. [01:28:50.310 --> 01:28:56.310] We do not answer questions, ever. [01:28:56.310 --> 01:29:00.310] We do not. [01:29:00.310 --> 01:29:05.310] We ask our own, we make our statements, but we do not answer questions, [01:29:05.310 --> 01:29:12.310] especially when they can result in evidence or testimony that can be used against us in a court of law. [01:29:12.310 --> 01:29:19.310] Can you be charged additionally if the information on a license is incorrect [01:29:19.310 --> 01:29:25.310] in relation to what it says and your current circumstances? [01:29:25.310 --> 01:29:26.310] I'm not sure. [01:29:26.310 --> 01:29:27.310] Yes, you can. [01:29:27.310 --> 01:29:29.310] And you just confessed to it. [01:29:29.310 --> 01:29:32.310] Thank you very much, says the officer. [01:29:32.310 --> 01:29:33.310] Wow. [01:29:33.310 --> 01:29:37.310] How do we respond to them when they start kind of prying into our business? [01:29:37.310 --> 01:29:38.310] We ignore them. [01:29:38.310 --> 01:29:42.310] We'll be back on in just a second, and we'll cover this some more on the other side. [01:29:42.310 --> 01:29:43.310] Okay. [01:29:43.310 --> 01:29:50.310] All right, folks, this is Rule of Law Radio, call in number 512-646-1984. [01:29:50.310 --> 01:29:53.310] Give us a call, give us a holler, give us a question, give us a comment. [01:29:53.310 --> 01:29:55.310] We don't care, but give us something to talk about. [01:29:55.310 --> 01:29:58.310] We will be right back. [01:29:58.310 --> 01:30:00.890] (upbeat music) [01:30:00.890 --> 01:30:03.650] Talk about California dreamin'. [01:30:03.650 --> 01:30:09.130] Berkeley researchers have found a way to reconstruct and play back images recorded in other people's [01:30:09.130 --> 01:30:10.130] minds. [01:30:10.130 --> 01:30:14.650] I'm Dr. Catherine Albrecht and I'll have more on this fascinating but creepy technological [01:30:14.650 --> 01:30:17.110] experiment in a moment. [01:30:17.110 --> 01:30:18.690] Privacy is under attack. [01:30:18.690 --> 01:30:22.290] When you give up data about yourself, you'll never get it back again. [01:30:22.290 --> 01:30:27.090] And once your privacy is gone, you'll find your freedoms will start to vanish too. [01:30:27.090 --> 01:30:32.250] So protect your rights, say no to surveillance and keep your information to yourself. [01:30:32.250 --> 01:30:34.850] Privacy, it's worth hanging on to. [01:30:34.850 --> 01:30:39.130] This public service announcement is brought to you by Startpage.com, the private search [01:30:39.130 --> 01:30:42.650] engine alternative to Google, Yahoo and Bing. [01:30:42.650 --> 01:30:46.210] Start over with Startpage. [01:30:46.210 --> 01:30:48.090] So you think you're a mind reader. [01:30:48.090 --> 01:30:52.770] Scientists may one day get a glimpse into people's dreams, memories and even fantasies [01:30:52.770 --> 01:30:55.650] by reconstructing their brain images. [01:30:55.650 --> 01:31:00.530] Many researchers watched video in an MRI machine, then had a computer match the images with [01:31:00.530 --> 01:31:01.530] their brain activity. [01:31:01.530 --> 01:31:06.210] This allowed the computer to later show them what their own brains had just processed. [01:31:06.210 --> 01:31:11.370] If this imagery could be broadcast, paraplegics might control their environment by imagining [01:31:11.370 --> 01:31:12.370] movements. [01:31:12.370 --> 01:31:13.370] Cool. [01:31:13.370 --> 01:31:14.370] Now the creepy part. [01:31:14.370 --> 01:31:18.690] Police could also use this technology to read the memories of unwilling subjects. [01:31:18.690 --> 01:31:19.690] Eek! [01:31:19.690 --> 01:31:21.690] I just had a minority report moment. [01:31:21.690 --> 01:31:25.810] I'm Dr. Katherine Albrecht. [01:31:25.810 --> 01:31:30.810] More news and information at katherinealbrecht.com. [01:31:30.810 --> 01:31:31.810] I lost my son. [01:31:31.810 --> 01:31:32.810] My nephew. [01:31:32.810 --> 01:31:33.810] My uncle. [01:31:33.810 --> 01:31:34.810] My son. [01:31:34.810 --> 01:31:35.810] On September 11, 2001. [01:31:35.810 --> 01:31:38.970] Most people don't know that a third tower fell on September 11. [01:31:38.970 --> 01:31:40.210] World Trade Center 7. [01:31:40.210 --> 01:31:43.170] A 47 story skyscraper was not hit by a plane. [01:31:43.170 --> 01:31:47.090] Although the official explanation is that fire brought down building 7. [01:31:47.090 --> 01:31:51.890] Over 1,200 architects and engineers have looked into the evidence and believe there is more [01:31:51.890 --> 01:31:52.890] to the story. [01:31:52.890 --> 01:31:54.290] Bring justice to my son. [01:31:54.290 --> 01:31:55.290] My uncle. [01:31:55.290 --> 01:31:56.290] My nephew. [01:31:56.290 --> 01:31:57.290] My son. [01:31:57.290 --> 01:31:58.290] Go to buildingwhat.org. [01:31:58.290 --> 01:31:59.290] Why it fell. [01:31:59.290 --> 01:32:00.290] Why it matters. [01:32:00.290 --> 01:32:01.290] And what you can do. [01:32:01.290 --> 01:32:03.770] Nutritious food is real body armor. [01:32:03.770 --> 01:32:09.170] It builds muscle, burns fat, improves digestion, and feeds the entire body the nutrients it [01:32:09.170 --> 01:32:10.170] needs. [01:32:10.170 --> 01:32:13.850] Did you know the U.S. government banned the hemp plant from growing in the United States [01:32:13.850 --> 01:32:18.410] and classified it as a Schedule I drug to hide it behind the marijuana plant? [01:32:18.410 --> 01:32:21.610] People have been confused about this plant for over 80 years. [01:32:21.610 --> 01:32:23.930] And many still don't know what hemp is. [01:32:23.930 --> 01:32:26.490] So now you know hemp is not marijuana. [01:32:26.490 --> 01:32:28.010] And marijuana is not hemp. [01:32:28.010 --> 01:32:31.010] They are different varieties of the same species. [01:32:31.010 --> 01:32:34.090] HempUSA.org wants the world to know these basic facts. [01:32:34.090 --> 01:32:38.650] And to help people understand that hemp protein powder is the best kept health secret you [01:32:38.650 --> 01:32:40.130] need to know about. [01:32:40.130 --> 01:32:46.370] Remember, hemp protein powder contains 53% protein, is gluten free, anti-inflammatory, [01:32:46.370 --> 01:32:49.050] non-GMO, and is loaded with nutrients. [01:32:49.050 --> 01:32:50.050] Call 888-910-4367. [01:32:50.050 --> 01:32:51.050] 888-910-4367. [01:32:51.050 --> 01:32:58.050] And see what our powder, seeds, and oil can do for you. [01:32:58.050 --> 01:33:00.050] Only at hempUSA.org. [01:33:00.050 --> 01:33:08.050] You're listening to the Logos Radio Network. [01:33:08.050 --> 01:33:36.050] And we'll see you next time. [01:33:36.050 --> 01:33:38.050] Bye. [01:33:38.050 --> 01:33:43.050] I'm taking it by what you've said so far, you do not have the transportation script. [01:33:43.050 --> 01:33:46.050] No, I don't. [01:33:46.050 --> 01:33:47.050] That's not good. [01:33:47.050 --> 01:33:50.050] Especially since you're here in Austin. [01:33:50.050 --> 01:33:51.050] That's right. [01:33:51.050 --> 01:33:53.970] Where can I get that? [01:33:53.970 --> 01:34:02.010] You can go to thelogosradionetwork.com/tao and download it off the links there along [01:34:02.010 --> 01:34:04.010] with a couple of other ones. [01:34:04.010 --> 01:34:05.010] Okay. [01:34:05.010 --> 01:34:09.450] So, are they just gathering information on people and throwing it into some system? [01:34:09.450 --> 01:34:11.650] Or what's the whole purpose for all of that? [01:34:11.650 --> 01:34:14.650] Trying and asking questions? [01:34:14.650 --> 01:34:19.010] Control and illegal taxation and revenue generation. [01:34:19.010 --> 01:34:20.010] Okay. [01:34:20.010 --> 01:34:27.010] And I heard you were developing another, like a course or something? [01:34:27.010 --> 01:34:29.010] Where can we get that? [01:34:29.010 --> 01:34:31.690] No, not developing. [01:34:31.690 --> 01:34:37.410] It's always under development, but the actual seminar material is already done. [01:34:37.410 --> 01:34:44.090] And you can order it also at the Logos Radio Network or at the Rule of Law Radio website. [01:34:44.090 --> 01:34:49.890] It has the seminar book that I did in 2009 for teaching people how to read statute and [01:34:49.890 --> 01:34:51.890] understanding the transportation code. [01:34:51.890 --> 01:34:55.890] And then it's also chock full of legal documents for taking this battle to court. [01:34:55.890 --> 01:34:56.890] Okay. [01:34:56.890 --> 01:35:04.490] So, the next time you get pulled over for seemingly nothing, just use the script that [01:35:04.490 --> 01:35:05.490] you have. [01:35:05.490 --> 01:35:06.490] Absolutely. [01:35:06.490 --> 01:35:09.490] And when they ask you questions, just be silent? [01:35:09.490 --> 01:35:10.490] No. [01:35:10.490 --> 01:35:11.970] Is that what you're going to do? [01:35:11.970 --> 01:35:12.970] Read the script. [01:35:12.970 --> 01:35:14.850] Okay, I'll do that. [01:35:14.850 --> 01:35:20.450] Remain silent doesn't mean turn to stone and become a deaf mute. [01:35:20.450 --> 01:35:21.450] Right. [01:35:21.450 --> 01:35:22.970] All right? [01:35:22.970 --> 01:35:28.730] Like I said to the previous caller, the thing that comes out of your mouth is meant to do [01:35:28.730 --> 01:35:31.090] one of three things. [01:35:31.090 --> 01:35:34.330] Invoke a right, demand a right, protect a right. [01:35:34.330 --> 01:35:39.210] If you say or do anything that is not directed at one of those three things, it is the wrong [01:35:39.210 --> 01:35:41.970] thing to be saying or doing. [01:35:41.970 --> 01:35:43.970] Got it. [01:35:43.970 --> 01:35:44.970] Okay. [01:35:44.970 --> 01:35:46.470] All right? [01:35:46.470 --> 01:35:48.650] But the script will explain all that in detail. [01:35:48.650 --> 01:35:49.650] Okay. [01:35:49.650 --> 01:35:50.650] Thanks, Eddie. [01:35:50.650 --> 01:35:51.650] You're welcome. [01:35:51.650 --> 01:35:52.650] All right. [01:35:52.650 --> 01:35:53.650] Thank you. [01:35:53.650 --> 01:35:54.650] You too. [01:35:54.650 --> 01:35:55.650] All right. [01:35:55.650 --> 01:35:56.650] Now we're going to go to Victor in California. [01:35:56.650 --> 01:35:59.650] Victor, what can we do for you? [01:35:59.650 --> 01:36:02.650] Well, that was short. [01:36:02.650 --> 01:36:03.650] Okay, great. [01:36:03.650 --> 01:36:08.890] Well, first off, thank you for your amazing work. [01:36:08.890 --> 01:36:10.890] I think what you're doing is amazing. [01:36:10.890 --> 01:36:11.890] So, thank you. [01:36:11.890 --> 01:36:12.890] Well, you're welcome, I suppose. [01:36:12.890 --> 01:36:13.890] All right. [01:36:13.890 --> 01:36:14.890] So, here's what's going on. [01:36:14.890 --> 01:36:21.890] A few weeks ago, about a month ago, I got a parking citation. [01:36:21.890 --> 01:36:33.490] And I responded to them with a letter, a bill of attainder letter. [01:36:33.490 --> 01:36:40.010] And I told them on that letter that this was a bill of paying some penalties and it does [01:36:40.010 --> 01:36:41.010] not apply. [01:36:41.010 --> 01:36:42.010] It's unconstitutional. [01:36:42.010 --> 01:36:47.450] So, therefore, I requested the citation to be dismissed. [01:36:47.450 --> 01:36:52.690] So, just last week, I got a letter saying that the administrative review decision was [01:36:52.690 --> 01:37:01.090] that I am liable and they want me to pay the fine or I can also go to court and contest [01:37:01.090 --> 01:37:02.090] that. [01:37:02.090 --> 01:37:03.090] What should I do next? [01:37:03.090 --> 01:37:10.290] What do you mean, what should you do next? [01:37:10.290 --> 01:37:13.530] You cost them a whole bunch of money is what you do next. [01:37:13.530 --> 01:37:15.730] Right, exactly. [01:37:15.730 --> 01:37:16.730] How do I do that? [01:37:16.730 --> 01:37:21.890] You file a motion to dismiss because the ticket is exactly what you stated is. [01:37:21.890 --> 01:37:27.570] Basically, you convert the letter into a motion and you file it. [01:37:27.570 --> 01:37:33.730] And then you dare them to do what's in that letter by proving that the facts asserted [01:37:33.730 --> 01:37:36.890] in the letter or in the motion are wrong. [01:37:36.890 --> 01:37:41.290] They're going to prove it? [01:37:41.290 --> 01:37:44.890] Because, yeah, because they're assuming my guilt without any proof. [01:37:44.890 --> 01:37:48.610] Well, of course, they're assuming your guilt and the off chance you'll write them a check [01:37:48.610 --> 01:37:50.290] and be done with it. [01:37:50.290 --> 01:37:53.490] Right, which I won't. [01:37:53.490 --> 01:37:54.490] Well. [01:37:54.490 --> 01:38:01.610] But in this case, in order for me to contest this or to do anything or go any further, [01:38:01.610 --> 01:38:03.890] they want me to pay the $52 I... [01:38:03.890 --> 01:38:07.570] They cannot force you to pay to contest their determination. [01:38:07.570 --> 01:38:09.130] Tell them to kiss your behind. [01:38:09.130 --> 01:38:12.890] All right, I love that, yeah. [01:38:12.890 --> 01:38:17.450] So convert letters to motion and basically just dare them to prove me wrong. [01:38:17.450 --> 01:38:25.010] It's a motion to dismiss, lack of jurisdiction, lack of evidence, and so on and so forth. [01:38:25.010 --> 01:38:27.050] Jurisdiction, evidence. [01:38:27.050 --> 01:38:33.050] You are never engaged in the regulable activity known as transportation over which they have [01:38:33.050 --> 01:38:35.410] regulatory authority. [01:38:35.410 --> 01:38:38.450] Any and/or all of the above are valid. [01:38:38.450 --> 01:38:43.050] No transportation, okay. [01:38:43.050 --> 01:38:44.050] Okay. [01:38:44.050 --> 01:38:46.090] All right, you're amazing. [01:38:46.090 --> 01:38:47.090] Thank you, Eddie. [01:38:47.090 --> 01:38:48.090] Keep up the good work. [01:38:48.090 --> 01:38:49.770] Well, thank you and good luck. [01:38:49.770 --> 01:38:50.770] Thank you. [01:38:50.770 --> 01:38:53.290] I'll call you back with the good news. [01:38:53.290 --> 01:38:55.490] All right, do that. [01:38:55.490 --> 01:38:57.490] All right, see you. [01:38:57.490 --> 01:38:58.490] Bye-bye. [01:38:58.490 --> 01:38:59.490] All right, bye-bye. [01:38:59.490 --> 01:39:02.170] All right, now we're going to go to Terry in Texas. [01:39:02.170 --> 01:39:03.890] Terry, what can we do for you? [01:39:03.890 --> 01:39:06.770] Well, of course, you know who this is, Eddie. [01:39:06.770 --> 01:39:07.770] Well, of course, I do. [01:39:07.770 --> 01:39:09.330] I was thinking it'd probably be you. [01:39:09.330 --> 01:39:13.250] I hadn't seen you in a dog's age, but you know, a coon's age. [01:39:13.250 --> 01:39:17.210] I don't call that often, but of course, when I do call, hopefully I have something [01:39:17.210 --> 01:39:18.210] relevant to say. [01:39:18.210 --> 01:39:23.610] I've got several comments, probably no questions. [01:39:23.610 --> 01:39:27.290] In regards to that guy that called you before that, you know, as far as keeping your mouth [01:39:27.290 --> 01:39:31.970] shut, I guess I'd kind of like to tie that comment with a comment I thought about, you [01:39:31.970 --> 01:39:35.970] know, some of the stuff that you're doing. [01:39:35.970 --> 01:39:40.090] Of course, very much so, it's a spiritual battle that we're fighting, and if you don't [01:39:40.090 --> 01:39:42.890] look to the scriptures for enlightenment, you can't see. [01:39:42.890 --> 01:39:45.570] It's really hard to see this or to understand this. [01:39:45.570 --> 01:39:49.810] But I ran across, it's interesting, because I was just thinking about this verse because [01:39:49.810 --> 01:39:54.810] I was thinking in context of what you're doing, and then this guy called in and started talking [01:39:54.810 --> 01:40:00.570] about, you know, you were saying your traffic stopped, you know, your script about, you [01:40:00.570 --> 01:40:04.770] know, a good portion of it's about keeping your mouth shut. [01:40:04.770 --> 01:40:08.770] And so there's a really great verse in Proverbs, which I thought very much applies to what [01:40:08.770 --> 01:40:14.210] you're doing, that's called, that what you're attempting to do, and maybe you should have [01:40:14.210 --> 01:40:17.650] it tattooed on your card, maybe you're not tattooed, but print it up. [01:40:17.650 --> 01:40:25.770] A wise man scales the city of the mighty and brings down the stronghold in which they trust. [01:40:25.770 --> 01:40:29.170] Yeah, I like that. [01:40:29.170 --> 01:40:32.410] That's in Proverbs 21, 22. [01:40:32.410 --> 01:40:38.210] And so I was rereading that before I got in the air, and this guy called in talking about, [01:40:38.210 --> 01:40:42.490] you know, how you got pulled over and you're supposed to keep your mouth shut. [01:40:42.490 --> 01:40:49.090] And interestingly enough, the next verse that follows this one about bringing and brings [01:40:49.090 --> 01:40:53.770] down the stronghold in which they trust, the very next verse says, "He who guards his mouth [01:40:53.770 --> 01:40:56.570] and his tongue guards his soul from troubles." [01:40:56.570 --> 01:40:57.570] Absolutely. [01:40:58.650 --> 01:41:05.170] So, and nowhere is that more true than during one of these stops or some other type of police [01:41:05.170 --> 01:41:06.170] investigation. [01:41:06.170 --> 01:41:12.530] And then I was reading in the Old Testament and hearing some expousing comment about that [01:41:12.530 --> 01:41:17.250] and back in the time of Moses and Joshua and during the Kings. [01:41:17.250 --> 01:41:21.130] You know, we've gotten away from this too, of course, you know, it was a different era. [01:41:21.130 --> 01:41:24.290] They used to read the law to the people. [01:41:24.290 --> 01:41:29.450] And I was thinking, "Gosh, what a great idea," because then it creates an obligation for [01:41:29.450 --> 01:41:32.410] the people who are dictating law to follow it. [01:41:32.410 --> 01:41:38.050] And it keeps the people in the populace informed as to knowing what their rights are. [01:41:38.050 --> 01:41:39.250] And so we don't do that anymore. [01:41:39.250 --> 01:41:42.690] So people are, you know, they're completely ill-informed about what their real rights [01:41:42.690 --> 01:41:43.690] are. [01:41:43.690 --> 01:41:50.690] Well, yeah, that's exactly part of the problem is that no one understands their rights anymore. [01:41:50.690 --> 01:41:54.370] And the school system is taking it completely out of sight and out of mind. [01:41:54.370 --> 01:41:55.370] Okay. [01:41:55.370 --> 01:42:01.250] And then one other comment, Chris, I've been pulled over three times this year. [01:42:01.250 --> 01:42:04.970] I just most recently got pulled over south of Dallas. [01:42:04.970 --> 01:42:09.890] I was with someone who doesn't understand the law, fights me on it one way, ups one [01:42:09.890 --> 01:42:15.130] side and down the other, late at night, tired, coming back, one o'clock in the morning, got [01:42:15.130 --> 01:42:16.130] pulled over. [01:42:16.130 --> 01:42:18.330] You know, of course, I gave her the driver's license. [01:42:18.330 --> 01:42:21.890] I knew the whole thing, but I just didn't have time to mess with it. [01:42:21.890 --> 01:42:23.970] And then they gasped me to step out of the car. [01:42:23.970 --> 01:42:26.450] And I said, "I'm right here, officer. [01:42:26.450 --> 01:42:28.010] Got window rolled on. [01:42:28.010 --> 01:42:30.130] Why can't we have this conversation here?" [01:42:30.130 --> 01:42:32.610] And how they do it is they start going into the intimidation thing. [01:42:32.610 --> 01:42:35.290] I thought, "Well, the person I'm with, they're not going to understand this." [01:42:35.290 --> 01:42:37.050] So I stepped out of the car, pulled me back. [01:42:37.050 --> 01:42:39.330] What he was trying to do was separate us, right? [01:42:39.330 --> 01:42:40.330] So he didn't trap us. [01:42:40.330 --> 01:42:41.330] Yes. [01:42:41.330 --> 01:42:42.330] You know, of course, I knew enough about what was going on. [01:42:42.330 --> 01:42:46.330] I said, "You know, I'm not in an obligation to answer any of your questions." [01:42:46.330 --> 01:42:48.330] I started doing the intimidation. [01:42:48.330 --> 01:42:50.930] He was fishing, you know, for drugs. [01:42:50.930 --> 01:42:52.930] I go, "You know what, officer? [01:42:52.930 --> 01:42:55.090] Let me explain something to you." [01:42:55.090 --> 01:43:00.810] I said, "If you go down this can of worms," I said, "If you open up this can of worms," [01:43:00.810 --> 01:43:03.850] I said, "then all bets are off." [01:43:03.850 --> 01:43:06.810] I said, "You're looking for drugs." [01:43:06.810 --> 01:43:10.650] I go, "Next thing you'll be looking for is child pornography." [01:43:10.650 --> 01:43:12.130] And I go, "You know what you're asking me to do? [01:43:12.130 --> 01:43:16.690] You're asking me, you're trying to get me to prove to you that I'm not guilty. [01:43:16.690 --> 01:43:17.690] And you've got no evidence." [01:43:17.690 --> 01:43:20.570] I go, "What's your, you know," I go, "You want to know what you're really trying to [01:43:20.570 --> 01:43:22.850] do here if you want to get it in graphic terms? [01:43:22.850 --> 01:43:28.170] Is you're asking me to pull down my pants on the side of the road and have manly sex [01:43:28.170 --> 01:43:32.370] and then pull my pants up and say to me, 'Do you not like that?'" [01:43:32.370 --> 01:43:33.370] That's what they're doing. [01:43:33.370 --> 01:43:34.370] Well, in a manner of speaking, that's true. [01:43:34.370 --> 01:43:35.370] All right, Terry, hang on just a second. [01:43:35.370 --> 01:43:36.370] We'll finish this up on the other side, okay? [01:43:36.370 --> 01:43:37.370] Yeah. [01:43:37.370 --> 01:43:48.530] All right, folks, this is Rule of Law Radio, the call in number 512-646-1984. [01:43:48.530 --> 01:43:52.290] I need another one or two callers before the top of the hour when the show is over, so [01:43:52.290 --> 01:43:55.290] y'all give me one and something to talk about when we get done with Terry. [01:43:55.290 --> 01:43:57.970] We'll be right back. [01:43:57.970 --> 01:44:04.010] Do you feel tired when talking about important topics like money and politics? [01:44:19.410 --> 01:44:23.410] I had no idea that the number one cause of the disease is found in almost every home [01:44:23.410 --> 01:44:25.530] in America, the television. [01:44:25.530 --> 01:44:30.530] Unfortunately, that puts most Americans at risk of catching stupidity, but there is hope. [01:46:40.970 --> 01:46:44.970] This is Rule of Law Radio, and we're going to finish up talking with Terry here. [01:46:44.970 --> 01:46:46.970] Alright Terry, go ahead. [01:46:46.970 --> 01:46:51.970] I think the last thing you were dealing with was manly sex on the side of the road. [01:46:51.970 --> 01:46:57.970] Well, no, I was using that to illustrate this guy. [01:46:57.970 --> 01:46:59.970] You know, they employ these guys. [01:46:59.970 --> 01:47:00.970] This guy didn't have an... [01:47:00.970 --> 01:47:02.970] Pardon me for being... [01:47:02.970 --> 01:47:03.970] No, that's okay. [01:47:03.970 --> 01:47:06.970] I understand the reference and what was intended by it. [01:47:06.970 --> 01:47:09.970] But I had to use this guy as a reference point. [01:47:09.970 --> 01:47:12.970] This guy's IQ couldn't have been more than he could not have been. [01:47:12.970 --> 01:47:18.970] But, you know, I was telling him, I said, "So now," I said, "after we get done with that, [01:47:18.970 --> 01:47:21.970] then you can ask me, prove to me that you didn't like it." [01:47:21.970 --> 01:47:22.970] Because that's what you're trying to do. [01:47:22.970 --> 01:47:26.970] You're trying to get me to prove something that you have no evidence on. [01:47:26.970 --> 01:47:30.970] And their only fallback on this, every time I've been stopped, and this is something that you've pointed out too, [01:47:30.970 --> 01:47:33.970] their only fallback is to intimidate. [01:47:33.970 --> 01:47:38.970] And I can see, which is really sad, there's so many people out there traveling around, [01:47:38.970 --> 01:47:40.970] who's almost wanted to say driving, [01:47:40.970 --> 01:47:44.970] trying to be public is being intimidated to giving up all of their rights. [01:47:44.970 --> 01:47:47.970] Absolutely. [01:47:47.970 --> 01:47:51.970] You're being taught that several things. [01:47:51.970 --> 01:47:53.970] One, resistance is futile. [01:47:53.970 --> 01:47:55.970] It's a Borg mentality, really. [01:47:55.970 --> 01:48:00.970] Two, that authority makes them right. [01:48:00.970 --> 01:48:06.970] Three, that your rights are subject to the powers and authority of their job. [01:48:06.970 --> 01:48:14.970] And four, that they don't have to pay any attention to anything that relates to what they can do or can't do, [01:48:14.970 --> 01:48:19.970] if they feel they are justified in making you do what they want anyway. [01:48:19.970 --> 01:48:26.970] If it will allow them to either fabricate or produce actual evidence of wrongdoing. [01:48:26.970 --> 01:48:28.970] Mm-hmm. [01:48:28.970 --> 01:48:34.970] Wow, and they have gotten away with it. [01:48:34.970 --> 01:48:37.970] So, yeah, that's a problem, and it does exist. [01:48:37.970 --> 01:48:43.970] Yep. [01:48:43.970 --> 01:48:45.970] All right, well, I'm sure you have other callers. [01:48:45.970 --> 01:48:48.970] I got a couple, but I appreciate the call, then. [01:48:48.970 --> 01:48:49.970] All right. [01:48:49.970 --> 01:48:50.970] All right, thanks, Terry. [01:48:50.970 --> 01:48:51.970] Awesome. [01:48:51.970 --> 01:48:54.970] All right, now we're going to go to Dean in Wisconsin. [01:48:54.970 --> 01:48:56.970] Dean, what can I do for you? [01:48:56.970 --> 01:49:01.970] Yeah, last year I had a parking ticket outstanding, [01:49:01.970 --> 01:49:06.970] and me and my wife had -- we have two vehicles, one she -- [01:49:06.970 --> 01:49:08.970] I'm sorry, you have two what? [01:49:08.970 --> 01:49:11.970] Two cars, automobiles. [01:49:11.970 --> 01:49:13.970] Oh, okay. [01:49:13.970 --> 01:49:20.970] And I wasn't going to -- well, I didn't pay the parking ticket, but they -- [01:49:20.970 --> 01:49:28.970] I couldn't re-register her car because of that. [01:49:28.970 --> 01:49:39.970] They put an unpaid parking ticket, so I couldn't renew her car license. [01:49:39.970 --> 01:49:40.970] Okay. [01:49:40.970 --> 01:49:48.970] And are the parking tickets administrative where you are? [01:49:48.970 --> 01:49:49.970] I don't know. [01:49:49.970 --> 01:49:51.970] How does one find out that? [01:49:51.970 --> 01:49:56.970] Well, first find out exactly what governs the parking. [01:49:56.970 --> 01:50:00.970] I guarantee you it's administrative because it will be a local ordinance. [01:50:00.970 --> 01:50:01.970] Okay. [01:50:01.970 --> 01:50:03.970] Almost guaranteed it's going to be a local ordinance. [01:50:03.970 --> 01:50:08.970] Now, granted, that's the way it is here in Texas because the legislature is [01:50:08.970 --> 01:50:11.970] forbidden from making local law via the state constitution. [01:50:11.970 --> 01:50:17.970] They can only create general law. [01:50:17.970 --> 01:50:24.970] Now, granted, they're not doing that either, but it is what they're actually limited to. [01:50:24.970 --> 01:50:33.970] So they can legally do that, restrict me from renewing her license? [01:50:33.970 --> 01:50:35.970] No, I didn't say that. [01:50:35.970 --> 01:50:42.970] I'm asking you to find out what they're basing the suspension on versus what the [01:50:42.970 --> 01:50:47.970] parking situation allows them to do. [01:50:47.970 --> 01:50:50.970] See, the problem here is this. [01:50:50.970 --> 01:50:59.970] If the state law is what's relevant to suspension of licenses, and there is [01:50:59.970 --> 01:51:05.970] nothing in state law that allows for the suspension of licenses in relation to [01:51:05.970 --> 01:51:12.970] parking tickets issued at the local level through local ordinance, then the local [01:51:12.970 --> 01:51:21.970] government can't create one because they are using local power to affect a state [01:51:21.970 --> 01:51:33.970] granted privilege, and the state has not approved that exercise of local power. [01:51:33.970 --> 01:51:38.970] In other words, the local place can never legislate in the same place that the [01:51:38.970 --> 01:51:47.970] state does and have higher authority, nor can they legislate in a manner that would [01:51:47.970 --> 01:51:53.970] bind the people to something that the state itself did not approve because, just [01:51:53.970 --> 01:52:00.970] like I was going earlier, ordinances are not binding as law, not unless your state [01:52:00.970 --> 01:52:05.970] constitution specifically allows local government agencies to create said binding [01:52:05.970 --> 01:52:08.970] law. [01:52:08.970 --> 01:52:12.970] And I don't know of any that have, but then again, I haven't studied every state [01:52:12.970 --> 01:52:17.970] constitution out there either. [01:52:17.970 --> 01:52:23.970] I mentioned that because I went in the other day to the DMV because my license has [01:52:23.970 --> 01:52:28.970] been not suspended but canceled. [01:52:28.970 --> 01:52:31.970] On what grounds? [01:52:31.970 --> 01:52:41.970] I didn't furnish them with an update on my medical because I'm on oxygen. [01:52:41.970 --> 01:52:43.970] Okay. [01:52:43.970 --> 01:52:45.970] So they suspended them. [01:52:45.970 --> 01:52:52.970] So the other day I just -- I turned in my license, which were canceled anyway, and [01:52:52.970 --> 01:52:55.970] just got a state ID. [01:52:55.970 --> 01:52:57.970] Okay. [01:52:57.970 --> 01:53:01.970] And I asked them about the parking situation. [01:53:01.970 --> 01:53:03.970] And they said it's perfectly legal. [01:53:03.970 --> 01:53:05.970] And I said, "I don't believe that it is." [01:53:05.970 --> 01:53:10.970] You know, to keep -- she said the only way I can get out of that is if I get my [01:53:10.970 --> 01:53:17.970] name off of her car. [01:53:17.970 --> 01:53:19.970] Okay. [01:53:19.970 --> 01:53:25.970] Again, until you read the statutes and see what the state law is on the subject [01:53:25.970 --> 01:53:31.970] regarding suspension of registration or prevention thereof, don't take anybody's [01:53:31.970 --> 01:53:34.970] word about anything. [01:53:34.970 --> 01:53:39.970] I haven't read it, so I can't tell you one way or the other. [01:53:39.970 --> 01:53:43.970] All I can tell you is that's where I would start looking. [01:53:43.970 --> 01:53:47.970] Okay. [01:53:47.970 --> 01:53:53.970] I don't know what -- I don't want to assume, but, yes, I can say probably it is a -- [01:53:53.970 --> 01:53:57.970] you know, it's a -- what did you say it was? [01:53:57.970 --> 01:53:59.970] The AFSCME was? [01:53:59.970 --> 01:54:02.970] An ordinance or a state law? [01:54:02.970 --> 01:54:04.970] Oh, it's not a state law. [01:54:04.970 --> 01:54:05.970] It's an ordinance. [01:54:05.970 --> 01:54:06.970] Correct. [01:54:06.970 --> 01:54:13.970] But now, is there a state law that allows them to prevent your registration or [01:54:13.970 --> 01:54:20.970] license or anything else from being renewed because of the parking ticket? [01:54:20.970 --> 01:54:25.970] If there's no authority for that in the state law, then the ordinance cannot [01:54:25.970 --> 01:54:31.970] create one because they're affecting a state-granted privilege, and they may not [01:54:31.970 --> 01:54:39.970] legislate over a state-granted privilege, which is what a license is. [01:54:39.970 --> 01:54:40.970] Okay. [01:54:40.970 --> 01:54:43.970] Unless that license, of course, is issued by the municipality in question or the [01:54:43.970 --> 01:54:47.970] county. [01:54:47.970 --> 01:54:50.970] No, that's issued by the state. [01:54:50.970 --> 01:54:55.970] Well, I understand that, but there are certain ones that are issued by the local [01:54:55.970 --> 01:54:56.970] places. [01:54:56.970 --> 01:54:59.970] Oh, okay. [01:54:59.970 --> 01:55:07.970] Okay, I was just curious of the foundation that they base that on. [01:55:07.970 --> 01:55:09.970] Well, that's where you got to look. [01:55:09.970 --> 01:55:10.970] Anything else? [01:55:10.970 --> 01:55:11.970] No, that's fine. [01:55:11.970 --> 01:55:12.970] Thank you. [01:55:12.970 --> 01:55:13.970] All right. [01:55:13.970 --> 01:55:14.970] Thanks for calling in, D. [01:55:14.970 --> 01:55:15.970] All right. [01:55:15.970 --> 01:55:17.970] We're going to go to Sam in North Dakota. [01:55:17.970 --> 01:55:19.970] Sam, what can we do for you? [01:55:19.970 --> 01:55:20.970] Can you hear me? [01:55:20.970 --> 01:55:22.970] I'm a first time on your program. [01:55:22.970 --> 01:55:24.970] Yes, I can hear you just fine. [01:55:24.970 --> 01:55:29.970] Back in September, I got stopped for speeding or whatever. [01:55:29.970 --> 01:55:31.970] They pulled me over. [01:55:31.970 --> 01:55:36.970] But I don't have a driver's license or anything, but there's plates on the [01:55:36.970 --> 01:55:41.970] pickup I was going up and down the road with. [01:55:41.970 --> 01:55:45.970] And I followed your script as best I could. [01:55:45.970 --> 01:55:50.970] I didn't have it with me, so I just asked them why they were stopping me and [01:55:50.970 --> 01:55:53.970] if I was -- and he said, you know, for the speeding. [01:55:53.970 --> 01:55:55.970] And I said, "Oh, really?" [01:55:55.970 --> 01:55:57.970] And that's all I said. [01:55:57.970 --> 01:56:01.970] And then he asked for driver's license and proof of insurance and stuff like [01:56:01.970 --> 01:56:04.970] that, and I just ignored that. [01:56:04.970 --> 01:56:09.970] So you didn't ask any questions in relation to their demand? [01:56:09.970 --> 01:56:11.970] No, I didn't ask. [01:56:11.970 --> 01:56:13.970] I didn't answer anything. [01:56:13.970 --> 01:56:15.970] And after he called in like -- [01:56:15.970 --> 01:56:16.970] No, no, no, no, no. [01:56:16.970 --> 01:56:18.970] I didn't say answer anything. [01:56:18.970 --> 01:56:22.970] I said you didn't make any statements or ask any questions in relation to their [01:56:22.970 --> 01:56:23.970] demand. [01:56:23.970 --> 01:56:25.970] You didn't. [01:56:25.970 --> 01:56:27.970] No, I didn't respond back. [01:56:27.970 --> 01:56:28.970] Okay. [01:56:28.970 --> 01:56:30.970] So what you failed to do -- hang on. [01:56:30.970 --> 01:56:35.970] What you failed to do was actually create a proper record stating why you were [01:56:35.970 --> 01:56:37.970] not providing what they wanted. [01:56:37.970 --> 01:56:40.970] That's probably true. [01:56:40.970 --> 01:56:42.970] No, that's definitely true. [01:56:42.970 --> 01:56:45.970] If you're telling me what you didn't do, that's definitely true. [01:56:45.970 --> 01:56:46.970] Okay. [01:56:46.970 --> 01:56:49.970] That was a bad thing to do, then, not respond why I wasn't. [01:56:49.970 --> 01:56:50.970] Correct. [01:56:50.970 --> 01:56:54.970] I said I was exercising my right to remain silent, so that's what I was going [01:56:54.970 --> 01:56:55.970] to do. [01:56:55.970 --> 01:57:00.970] Well, that's all fine, but it doesn't really do everything you need to do. [01:57:00.970 --> 01:57:03.970] That's why it's very important to understand the script, and if you can't [01:57:03.970 --> 01:57:08.970] memorize it, keep it with you, because the aspects of what's in it are meant to [01:57:08.970 --> 01:57:13.970] protect all of your rights, and they build one upon the other to make sure that [01:57:13.970 --> 01:57:16.970] that protection's complete. [01:57:16.970 --> 01:57:22.970] So that was critical that after a while he cited me for obstruction of justice. [01:57:22.970 --> 01:57:28.970] Correct, because if you had properly asserted your rights as to why you were not [01:57:28.970 --> 01:57:34.970] going to give it to him, it would actually be a crime for him to charge you with a [01:57:34.970 --> 01:57:38.970] crime for asserting your rights. [01:57:38.970 --> 01:57:42.970] I needed to assert that I wasn't involved in commerce right there. [01:57:42.970 --> 01:57:43.970] That's part of it. [01:57:43.970 --> 01:57:47.970] The other is that you have the right to remain silent, the right to assistance of [01:57:47.970 --> 01:57:51.970] counsel, and I'm not waiving those rights, and because I'm not waiving them, I [01:57:51.970 --> 01:57:55.970] can't give you any information you could use against me or that could possibly be [01:57:55.970 --> 01:57:58.970] used to incriminate me in any way. [01:57:58.970 --> 01:58:03.970] Therefore, I can't answer your questions or provide you with documentation. [01:58:03.970 --> 01:58:08.970] Now, if he charges you with anything, you have a valid defense saying, "Look, all I [01:58:08.970 --> 01:58:10.970] did was invoke my rights. [01:58:10.970 --> 01:58:15.970] He can't charge me with a crime because I invoked a protected right." [01:58:15.970 --> 01:58:17.970] That's why it's important to study that. [01:58:17.970 --> 01:58:19.970] Exactly. [01:58:19.970 --> 01:58:20.970] Okay. [01:58:20.970 --> 01:58:24.970] Well, do I have anything to go forward with? [01:58:24.970 --> 01:58:27.970] You'll need to call me back or send me an email, Sam, so I've got some more [01:58:27.970 --> 01:58:33.970] details, but right now, you may not have enough, but we'll have to see, okay? [01:58:33.970 --> 01:58:34.970] Okay. [01:58:34.970 --> 01:58:35.970] All right. [01:58:35.970 --> 01:58:36.970] Well, thank you. [01:58:36.970 --> 01:58:37.970] All right. [01:58:37.970 --> 01:58:38.970] Well, thanks for calling in. [01:58:38.970 --> 01:58:40.970] All right, folks, this has been the Monday Night Rule of Law Radio Traffic Show. [01:58:40.970 --> 01:58:41.970] I've been your host, Eddie Craig. [01:58:41.970 --> 01:58:44.970] Thank you all so much for listening in, for all your calls.
